I have waisted 2 days trying to install this bullcrap app. No support, no chat and the app is full of bugs. I received recaptcha error, and 404 forbidden errors. Even after I dump my cache, open different browsers and used different devices. This is a nightmare to install. I'm done!!

I would give it 0 stars if I could. I ran into an issue where they somehow put 3 customers orders onto 1 customers account. There is no phone number to call, so I messaged and also emailed for support. The only response I got was to have the customers call customer support. Of course, the 2 customers who's furniture purchases didn't get associated with their accounts have gone MIA now. This complete lack of support ended up costing me $6000 through no fault of my own.

Don't get discourage by the negative reviews, yes the implementation requires a little bit of coding experience and reading the documentation, but in our case we have a very customized template and we made it work, just read and follow the instructions, don't be afraid to ask for help.

Terrible app. It does not work. It doesn't show up in the check out page. It looks like there is a ton of additional configuration that has to happen at the code level to get this to work. Uninstalling, not worth the hassle.

You can look forward to them unexpectedly holding the funds on your first order for the reason that they are "getting to know your business." There is nothing in the merchant agreement that says they can do that, so it's fraud. Meanwhile you can't ship the order to your customer because you have no idea if you are actually going to receive the payment. The Feds need to look closely at this trashy company.

Horrific experience with them. They moved away from "paybright" We do not know how to fix API or mesh code. We asked for help and they kept coming back with " We are not complying to their standards" We asked for help and its an automated response every single time. You cannot call them and nobody will help you . Its been an awful experience and hopefully another loan company can take care of us. If you cannot provide customer service you shouldn't be in business.

Affirm initially worked for a few months and is no longer functional. Customers get an error message when trying to checkout with Affirm and the app is stuck on asking me to update promotional messaging (window freezes when clicking on the update button). Phone support was removed for merchants????? Seriously???? Support is only through email now and is next to useless as their responses to your issues are just copied from their manuals online. I can't believe this company gets the business it does. I would recommend any store owner to look for an alternative financing app.

I was excited to partner with a buy now, pay later app after having no success with AfterPay in Canada. Affirm has TERRIBLE customer service; merchant accounts have no contact number. When you finally get ahold of someone via email, they aren't able to help you anyway.... " uninstall the app and reinstall. Still needs to be fixed!! Buyer be ware! I would give zero stars if I could :(

The experience was bad. The app was installed, enabled, and active. But, it just never came up as a payment option. I uninstalled app still same problem. I researched and never found a resolution. I just want to offer my customers payment options.

Probably the worst customer support in the business for this type of app. No one is helping me and when they do reply all they say is uninstall the app and reinstall it. For such a major company, their customer service is subpar at best. Come on! I've had this app and it worked great. Now I have a new theme and it's not working and no one from Affirm is helping. How do you expect to keep your customers if you're not helping them? I need help ASAP with this app. UPDATE: Still no help from support. I would think if you want me to add your app on my store you would provide help besides directing me to a document.

We tried to integrate Affirm to our Shopify store and it was a nightmare. We provided our banking + verification info only to get an error message. We created a support ticket and instead of resolving the error, support told us to abandon the current email address and use a new email to make a new business account (makes no sense as our Shopify store is already linked to the original email account we were told to abandon.). After troubling our IT to create a new email address, we got an error and could not create a new business account. This is a very buggy app, the FAQ is not helpful at all, the customer service is horrible, I am at the verge of just forgoing split payment.

As many others have said, Affirm doesn't work and doesn't seem to have any real customer service. There are many other better BNPL solutions such as Klarna and AfterPay. Affirm is just bad all around.

They are definitely self righteous, acting as if they are better than God. From looking at these ratings it is very clear that they don't care about their merchants, just the money they collect from the consumer. But then again the guy who founded Affirm is so rich now he doesn't have to care.

if there's any merchant that's planning to deal with this company, please DONT do it , they don't have merchant support so is you have any question about something they will never help you and the phone number that shows as customer support doesn't work, I have an issue about getting paid over 2 months you can email as much as you want but they will never answer and do anything if you call them their answer will alway be " THIS IS NOT MECHARNT SUPPORT WE DONT KNOW ENYTHING " and they will advise you to email them but you You'll never get a response at all

On the collection page, I use the plugin to add Affirm Messaging. When Affirm Messaging appears, the affirm logo keeps flashing, getting bigger and smaller, repeating for a few seconds before returning to normal, and if our price is a range , there are two values, and the amount of confirm will link them into a large number, which will cause the message to not be displayed.

If SOMETHING IMMEDIATE COMES UP - like FUNDS GOING TO THE WRONG ACCOUNT or SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY, GOOD LUCK GETTING AN ANSWER IMMEDIATELY. 2. INCOMPETANCTY - I changed my account details and had it confirmed, but my funds were still transferred to a DIFFERENT ACCOUNT AND THEY CAN'T TRANSFER THOSE FUNDS BACK TO MY NEW ACCOUNT. 3. NO MERCHANT SUPPORT. 4. I also found their widgets spazzing on my website which confused my customers. DO NOT INSTALL THIS APP.

Complete Garbage. We installed it on a client's site followed the instructions and nothing happened. Could not even log in the app on the backend. It kept saying remove the app and reinstall. When contacting support they said the Affirm code that we need to install on the template pages were wrong. The code was copied exactly from their documentation. They could never explain why when in the Affirm account the API log said their was no connection to the Shopify site. I wonder if they even bothered to look. I would suggest something else over this app. One star was being generous.

I have not been able to successfully integrate this app into my paid Shopify theme. If it is this problematic to get it up and running, I am concerned about problems our customers might have using the app; especially in light of similar experiences cited by other users. Given that the 5-star and 1-star reviews are about evenly split, I suspect there is a quirky issue buried somewhere in the app's coding. The customer's success with apps we use on our site directly impacts their experience with us, so I am willing to err on the side of caution by not offering Affirm as an alternate payment provider. Hope the issue is remedied down the line so we can try again.

I am about to launch my store, so my review is not in that regard. My rating is based on my experience with the onboarding rep that assisted me. He went over and beyond to help me get their app fully integrated into my website. He went to my website to ensure my customers would be able to effectively purchase their items with no issues. I will update my rating once customers actually start using the app. So far, so good! By the way, his name is Kyle, but I won't give him his last name. Just in case he doesn't want me to.

Affirm's directions on integrating the app/service is vague and isn't helpful at all. I need them to update their directions on integration as if they're explaining it to a 2 year old. Very poor integration with Shopify, no support for product variants. 10+ emails and a lot of hand-waving and the integration still not working. First, I provided 3 test cases where Affirm integration fails with Shopify. Affirm support didn't test all 3 only 2. Second, I pointed to the 3rd test case that wasn't fixed, they said "oh yeah, here I fixed it". And again, they didn't (Affirm messaging calculated the wrong installment payment amounts, 4 * $24 != $1200 ). Then they claimed it's a third-party app issue. I uninstalled it, and that didn't help either. Exactly the same problem after the 3rd-party app was gone. Then, they blamed it on the browser caching (I tested the site in 2 different browsers on 2 different OS, mobile and desktop). Finally, they basically said "it is too difficult to debug", let's just disable the functionality globally... i.e. stop calculating installment payment on the product page. But I thought the whole point of Affirm is to display the visitors know of potential lower payments **before** they add to checkout, not after... Sorry, Affirm, I am sure you can do better, but this is frustrating. UPDATE: after 11 emails, it's working finally now and the fix was on their side. I'll keep the rating at 1 star as out of ~20 Shopify apps I tried so far, this was the worst so far.

first off this app is ridiculously expensive. basically 6%. after looking at my loses on 2 orders im removing this option. i had a order for 1299... of which i made $200 profit and affirm took $96 out of that........ I had another order for $4000 of which i profit $560.. and affirm took $240! .Bye affirm. 1299 is one of my cheapest products.. so that means ill be giving affirm $96 or more for every order they process. This app is not for me.

If you have a paid theme don't waste your time with this. I have spent over 2 weeks trying to get messaging to work with very little support. I had to look for answers myself online and forward it to the tech and still, nothing was fixed and the tech just stopped responding to me. They should put in their description "only works with free Shopify theme"

Not the easiest to setup if you have never dabbled in the theme code, but once you figure it out, it works great. It shows dynamic financing figures based on your product price, promotes conversion by getting the customer to engage and attempt to follow thru with checkout on high dollar items, and helps your customers understand how the plan works if they click on the 'Prequalify Now' link

I'm not a coder, so that been said, is a complicated setup that I have to spend 5 hours just to figure it out and nothing. The instructions are not clear and not much explaining. Videos can be helpful for does not code-savvy. Super frustrated because I'm approved but can't use the app. UPDATE Customer support fixed the problem for that I'm happy, but they needed to enter the code manually seen the app is not compatible with all the themes that Shopify offers and the one I'm using free Supply theme is not compatible. I hope they can make it simple to implement affirm to any theme.
