EcomApps

For app makers

Your app is already on this board. You did not put it there, you are not paying for it, and you do not have to do anything to stay. This page is everything you can do about it.

Your listing already exists

All 28,153 apps we hold are listed and ranked on public review data. Nothing is gated and there is no form to fill in – your page is built from the App Store listing and the reviews merchants wrote, and it carries:

  1. Your rating and review count, and your rating from stores in the top 100k.
  2. The year you launched, whether you have a free plan, and how many stores we can see you on.
  3. Links straight to your App Store listing and your own site.
  4. A badge for your own site showing your live rank – free, no payment, no account. It is on every app page.
  5. Every review we hold, quoted in full, with the store that wrote it and how big that store is – including the complaints, filterable, on paid apps too.

Find your app – and read About for the formula behind the order and what the top-100k rating actually counts.

What you can buy

  1. A place above the ranking. From $5 a month. Any amount puts you above the review-data order; only the positions already being fought over cost more than the minimum. It is a monthly placement, you cancel it yourself, and the spot stands to the end of the month you paid for. The Rules page carries the whole price ladder.
  2. A deal for merchants. Free with any bid – it costs nothing beyond the placement. It shows on the deals page and on your board row, ranked exactly where your bid ranks. The code is never printed: merchants click to reveal it, which opens your site in the same motion, so aggregators cannot scrape it.
  3. A category sponsorship. $39 to $499 a month depending on how deep the category is, one holder at a time, in a labelled block above that category’s ranking. It does not move the ranking and is not a bid. Every price and every current holder is public on the sponsor page.

What money cannot buy

  1. The ranking itself. Money cannot enter the score by construction. Paid rows sit in their own tier above it, labelled, carrying the exact amount paid.
  2. A review taken down, or a complaint hidden. The negative filter works the same on an app that paid us as on one that did not. Publishing it on a paying customer is the only proof that the ranking is not for sale.
  3. A place for us. We build Shopify apps too. The checkout refuses bids on our own, so no money of ours can move a position – and any vendor who bids goes above them.
  4. Discretion about the price. Every amount, every click and every cost-per-click is printed in public on the stats page, including how little the whole board has taken so far.

After you pay

There are no accounts here and no passwords. Your receipt carries a private link to your listing, and that link is the key – keep the email. From it you can:

  1. Publish, edit or withdraw your deal, and see how many merchants revealed the code.
  2. Download a share card of the board with your app on top, sized for social.
  3. Stop the renewal yourself, without writing in to ask.

You will also get an email the moment somebody goes above you, naming who, and the exact amount it takes to retake the place.

Something is wrong, or you want off

Wrong category, a stale description, a listing that should not be here at all, or you simply want the whole thing taken down – write to k@ecomapps.store and we do it. Paid or not, no argument, no retention attempt.

Same address if you think the board should do something it does not. This is a new board and nobody running it has sold Shopify apps from your side of the table, so what you would actually pay for is worth more to us than a guess at it.
