No news from customer service despite numerous reminders. No email confirming that our request has been processed, and above all, no response. We changed the theme, and I can't implement the app in this new theme. It's probably simple, but I can't find the solution. These people clearly don't need money. So, we'll get another app... Facile à mettre en place et une bonne aide de l'équipe si besoin. Perso j'ai fais appelle à eux, mais je n'avais pas les yeux en face des trous. La solution était très simple ... Top pour notre business car nous avons du mal à assurer des réassorts en flux tendu. Nous avons souvent des trous. C'est donc idéal dans notre cas. Cela nous fait gagner du temps - on récupère plus de clients potentiels - et l'expérience et plus agréable pour le client - Top Juste un bémol à priori: Le paramétrage des couleurs a un peu bugué au début. Cela ne prenait pas en compte mes choix. C'est rentré dans l'ordre car le hasard à bien fait les choses finalement. Je n'ai pas contacté le support pour leur soumettre le problème. C'est peut être moi qui ai mal compris un truc.

It's basic, but works really really well. I just recently had to migrate the notification requests from a discontinued product to a new product that replaced it, and it was so easy! Love the fact that I didn't lose those customers :)

I contacted the app before hand to check if they had a possibility to migrate notifications from another app, and I got a quite prompt reply that yes they could do that once we have installed the app. But as soon as we installed the app and paid for the plan, the customer support stopped answering. I contacted them 5 times, without an answer. I would stay away from this app. It works ok, but if you ever need any help from the customer team, you probably won't get an answer.

Great support, easy to use and set up app and an initial confusion on whether or not the revenue is recorded was quickly cleared up - revenue IS recorded but with no currency indicator, and I misunderstood the original response. Over the past 5 days, I've tried to reach support three times due to persistent bugs, but unfortunately, I've yet to receive a response. The issues I've encountered include: The dashboard and other pages often fail to load, continuously displaying the "loading" screen. The feature for assigning new products is not functioning properly, with the validation page continuing to load without any results. Additionally, sign-ups are not being assigned to new products. I understand that occasional glitches are bound to happen, but the lack of support response is unacceptable, especially for a product that I have been using and paying for years.

*This is a follow up review on the app, the app works and we are very happy with it. The support was slow to reply but now all is okay. It is very unfortunate we have to write this review. The app seems great, we have had some problems after custom installing on our store. We received one email back from support after we sent many. We had been informed they would help ASAP. However after many more emails we got no reply from them. Very poor service, we will update our review if we get help on this matter.

The app was easy to install and does exactly what it says it does. I've had it for a few days and already have several customers waiting for restock, including a product I didn't think anyone wanted anymore. Edit- After a few months of using AlertMe the first time, I deleted the app. Then, months later, I've added it back. I only have a few products on my page, and I usually have enough in stock. However, when I do run out of stock, it can take a while to get more. If I had a way to turn off the service I would not have deleted the app the first time. I don't need it all the time, but when I do it works great. I wish I could pause my service (and subscription) without deleting the app.

Really good app. It would be nice if there was a way to convert one variant notification request into another though. That way if a variant is changed, or if new variants are added, people would get notified.

This is a great app to help alert your customers on restock. It has a bit of a delay after you add stock before it sends the emails though but I'm sure that is just how those things normally are. It is a low cost which is a great plus compared to how some apps will charge.

We came from an ecommerce that didn't have ANY options for out of stock notification. This is a life saver for our business. I was just sitting here thinking how grateful we are for Restock Alerts. I have not been able to find any other restock alert app that allows out of stock sign up notifications for products with multiple variants - for me this was multiple colours of the same style. A Back in Stock Notification App really helps us keep track on potential demand for items currently out of stock, and to capture potential sales. Alert Me! does this efficiently. We have used it for over a year now. 4 rather that 5 stars .. a) because of the format we often get sign-ups for our smallest sizes .. they are automatically offered in drop down, and b) the filtering method when in the App to search for Styles. The support is quick and very helpful.

That feature is not really useful if you can't drill down to see the contents of the counts. It would be better if you could more easily see the list of requested items and sort them. Integration was incredibly simple for a highly customized theme, it couldn't have gone any better. After integrating it we were able to see what customers were interested in by the notification requests. One of the better parts of this app is that you can customize how many of an item you need to have in stock before an email is sent out. This prevents the entire list from getting sent an email when one item is put back into stock from a cancelled order. Reporting is great, information that you need is right up front. I also like that sent emails are tracked as well. This app is easily worth more than the price they're asking. Highly recommended.

Easy to setup and use. Customers almost instantly started using this option and it is saving our staff time. It would be nice to have an option to only have restock product notification available if all variants for certain products are sold out and not just per variant. If you have S,M,L,XL this work great but if you have 10 unique variants people can request a notification on items that will never be restocked and requires a manual email to be sent. for some reason some of the restock notification are not sending automatically but most are.

This app is great for gathering emails for notifications! The only problem is we end up downloading the emails and then using another service like MailChimp to actually send the emails. This app does not let you customize emails for individual products (like adding a note section if a product is in pre-order, there may be shipping delays, etc). Like I said, it's a great way to gather those emails for notifications!

Customer Service has been very helpful with any issues/questions I've had, but a little slow to respond. This app is great! I didn't realize how many of my customers would appreciate having this functionality, but I get sign ups left and right. We have only just started using this app but so far so good! Its easy to set up, looks neat on screen and is an easy way to gauge what items need to be prioritized when restocking. The only thing i have noticed is the out of stock on the product screen takes a moment to pop up under the SOLD OUT button, which may be an issue for less patient customers. (however this could be something i have done wrong in the install)

For the price, this app is great! It does exactly what we want it to do except when it notifies a customer when a product is back in stock, it only tells them about the product, not the actual variant. So for example, it'll say unicorn earrings are back in stock instead of PINK unicorn earrings are back in stock. I don't write a lot of app reviews, but I was pleasantly surprised by how well—and how quickly—Alert Me worked. The installation was very straightforward and simple, and customers started using the Alert Me form almost immediately. After our 21-day free trial, this app has been responsible for almost $100 in revenue that we may not have captured otherwise. No, that's not going to make or break us, but I think that's worth the $5 per month fee. In addition to notifying customers about restocked products, we've found that it also gives us insight into what our customers want. Our buyer has asked for weekly updates of the request list which he takes into consideration when purchasing restocks and new merchandise. It also let's us know which items we should consider transferring from our smaller store (the inventory of which is not available online) to our flagship, where the online orders are fulfilled. More importantly, though, is that it's another touchpoint with our customers, one that is completely automated and requires no extra effort on our part. Unfortunately, something in the theme we use—Out of the Sandbox's Turbo—seems to be preventing the form from showing up on items that are TOTALLY sold out. In other words, customers can fill out the form if a variant is sold out, as long as at least one variant is in stock. But if there is no stock of any variant (or if the item has only a single variant), the form never shows up. I'd like to see this resolved and Dibble Development did exchange a few messages with us, but we haven't been able to find a solution. UPDATE: After spending a little time with the Alert Me template, we were able to achieve everything we wanted to, getting the form to show up only on sold out variants when some are in stock and others are sold out, but at all times when all variants are sold out (without having to choose a variant, which was the issue). We were also able to create a form with special language so customers could get alerts when our COMING SOON products become available. We are VERY happy with this app!

I've been using this app for around 6 months now and it's invaluable! Yes, it's great for bringing in customers when things are restocked. I can see in the app how much revenue was generated from restock emails. However, It's also AMAZING for letting me know which products are in demand. I hand-make items ahead of putting them on sale and I use this app as guidance for where to focus my time. Knowing that there is a customer base already waiting for things takes away a lot of the worry and guess-work. That alone is definitely worth $5.

Great little app that sits in the background and does its work. Have received sales that I wouldn't have otherwised got because who can keep track of requests for restock. I like that fact it is very 'set and forget' and does not require constant attention. One trick though, you need to have you inventory ordered and tight. Non-existent support. The app worked fine for many months, but when we moved to a new theme, auto-install did not work. Contacted support 4x over period of three weeks with request for help with reinstallation, no answer whatsoever. Now have to move to different app and lose all existing sign-ups. WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY -- AVOID.

I just wanted this on a few products, but it applied it to all my out of stocks and there was no way to uncheck all. Had to manually go take off each product one at a time. The setup was not easy. Feel like I wasted time trying to get this to work. Uninstalled.

Alert Me! need to install their own alert to answer new customer requests for help with installation. I installed this 8 May and as of 14 May have had no response to my request to get this to work properly. So it's been uninstalled as I have only one week to try this before the $5/month kicks in. Update: So I now got an email telling me "our response to your original email never got to you because no email address was provided when you used our contact form." Really? If you click on their Get Support button, it shows your email address at the bottom of the popup. And any proper website Contact Us form has the email as a compulsory field. Disorganised to say the least.

If you are starting out, sometimes run out of stock, and want more revenue then installing this app is the first step you should make. While we liked this app the best out of all of them, we chose to not move forward and go with another company, more expensive who was able to provide support. The app specifically says to contact them if we need assistance installing, which is what I did but were unsuccessful at getting any help (the developer didnt even accept the Shopify invite we sent her to access our themes per her request)... ... and also stopped communicating with us. You get what you pay for, and we are now happy with another app at $10 a month.

It is a Beta! Keep it in mind when installing. It does everything it promisses and in a very easy and clear fashion. As it is a Beta, you will see small thinks that could use some adjustment or improvement. If you are familiar with a bit of CSS and HTML you can work around the major issues - no problem there. Overall I like the app, as it is not working with a PopUp. Everything works and you just need to work a bit on customisation. I am sure the developer will move the App into a successfull future. Thank you for it.

She not only offered me a custom solution, she color-coded everything to match my site. She was kind, sincere, and very timely.
