Variant Alt Text King has been one of the easiest apps I've installed on my store. The setup is very simple, you enable it, configure a few settings, and it works in the background automatically without needing constant attention. A special thanks to Bhavesh, who helped me make sure everything was set up correctly. The support was fast, friendly, and knowledgeable. Once the setup was done, there was really nothing else I needed to worry about. If you're looking for an easy way to manage image alt text and improve SEO without spending hours doing it manually, I definitely recommend Variant Alt Text King.

I installed the Alt Text King app expecting it to handle variants properly, since the description clearly suggests you can use {{ variant }} in templates. In reality, it only works for a single “main variant image.” If you want full functionality for variant alt text, you’re pushed to install and pay for their other app (Variant Image). This feels misleading. The app is advertised as if it supports variants, but in practice it does not unless you buy an extra add-on. When I raised this, support tried to upsell me the second app, then offered a “6 months free” deal after I called it out. Alt Text King is incomplete on its own. If you need proper variant support, you’ll end up paying more. Not what I expect from a professional Shopify app provider.
