Customer service is a 5+ stars!! Learning the app takes a bit because there is a lot of options which is great and customer service is able to help step you through the process. over all 4 stars because this is a great app, but the price is too high, and you are limited to how many 'services' you can offer so you have to get creative with your listings and give customers multiple choice per listing.

Customers were unable to make reservations, and we only discovered the issue three days before the event. Once a single booking was made, no further reservations could be placed by anyone else. After contacting customer service, they appeared to resolve two of the three available dates by adding 100 slots per date. However, the third date was never fixed. Despite their assurance that it would be addressed, we received no follow-up whatsoever. To make matters worse, the same blocking issue resurfaced on one of the supposedly fixed dates: as soon as one person booked, all subsequent reservations were again locked out. We are deeply disappointed. The app is unreliable, and we have very likely lost customers as a direct result of these failures.

Ive just started using this on my new shopify site and I have to say so far that firstly it looks and functions really well and looks completely native unlike some others I tried. But biggest bonus so far is how amazingly helpful the support has been. I had quite a niche request in that I wanted only certain product variants bookable. I had a few minor glitches which turned out to be theme based and the team resolved all of them. Amazing service .

This system is good however you need to know these things, this is a really honest review based on 3 months of constant event bookings and what I've learned about the system and the errors it's created for me too - Customer support is very good and they will help you quickly and efficiently - There is no way to see all of your bookings in one place, you will need to manually go onto the event to see all participant details individually. When you export an event, it will not give you details such as the amount of spots they booked, or any specific comments they make. So if you have an event for 30 people, you will need to check each participant details individually - no way to copy and paste either - it's time consuming - Creating an event is a little time consuming, you will need to double triple check all details are correct - If you want to disable the ability for customers to cancel or reschedule events (say if you have a no cancellation policy) you will need to be on the higher subscription tiers for this, otherwise they will be able to do it automatically through a link - Unfortunately, customers can bypass the easy appointment booking link and just add the product to cart, which means they are not booked onto your event. Which means they purchase a space, however it's not logged on to the event. You will need to triple check this hasn't happened to you. The only way is to disable the add to cart button, but that means if you have products that are not an event, they won't be able to add it to their cart

This app was perfect for my event. I hosted an event for which I wanted to control the flow of people showing up. This booking app's time slot function was perfect for this. I set up time slots 15 mins apart from each other so attendees could select the time slot of their liking and we knew what would be coming at us at a certain time. Also, there was no strict cap on the number of people that could attend per se, but the venue did have a limited capacity. The time slot fuction was also great for this, because I could enter the venue's capacity, and the app would count the no. of people present [provided that you could estimate how much time people would spend at the event], showing only time slots available based on this calculation. The free version of this app gave me what I needed for this event and I am looking into getting the paid version. However with prices going as high as $99 per month I am reluctant, and stretching the use of the free app. The app was not super intuitive when I first started using it, however I did manage in the end.

The responsive customer service I have received with the EASY APPOINTMENT BOOKING APP - $15 Basic Plan has been great! I'm just getting started with hosting workshops so I was excited to see they have a new monthly calendar view. It took a few conversations to set up initially but I was very pleased with how much I could do with this app as far as creating events in my Shopify store! The automated reminders before each event (and followup emails afterward) give my customers peace of mind knowing they are not going to miss the event they purchased tickets for. If you are looking for a robust booking app for your Shopify store, this is it!

This is one of the loveliest software support teams I've encountered - and I use a lot of software and apps! The app itself was fairly straightforward to get going without looking at any directions, and anything that I wasn't sure on, I was able to find a helpful video to sort out. In the end, I only had one thing I actually had to ask support about in regards to setup. I also came in hot with a crisis on my other software and a need to switch to them with a FAST turnaround and they were GREAT in helping me through the import process to get my existing bookings ported over. I couldn't find another option that was as clean and easy to use that would also import my current bookings over. I had a LOT of questions through this process and their support was LIGHTNING fast. Many apps take a day or two to respond, which is fair - but these guys were on it like within an hour max. Ultimately, I can see they really care about what they are doing and are super responsive, that's worth it's weight in gold when you need to rely on a booking software app.

I created one event and it worked. Then I tried to create more events and it kept trying to create an event for a different theme. So I deleted the themes I wasnt using, whoops broke it entirely and couldnt even activate the events then. even after an uninstall and reinstall, it kept trying to activate for a theme I deleted. This is the best app if you need easy and straightforward installation and a professional booking calendar. Would have been great for our business but it only allows weekly team availability scheduling. Most beauty & hair clinics have monthly rotating rosters so that staff can have several weekend days off a month. Connecting it to google calendar would not have been productive or beneficial as the team grows. Our shop has several needs for a booking system (bar reservations, single event, multi-session events) and I didn't want to have to implement different systems. Easy Appointment is extremely flexible and accommodating. At first I was somewhat overwhelmed by all the options -- it wasn't immediately apparent how to connect and customize for what I needed -- but the onboarding session was the most helpful I've ever experienced. The specialist did nearly all the work for me, while sharing his screen and clearly explaining the steps he was taking. As a small business (fashion boutique) operated by a team of 2 and dedicated to keeping every step of the design, manufacturing and marketing process in-house, we have to lock our boutique doors and operate by "appointment only," in order to focus on all the back-of-house work. That being said, a simple and user friendly (both on the front and back end) appointment booking app is very important to us. We tried the popular Sesami app but found it gave us a lack a lot of customization features and aesthetic feature we were looking for. Easy Appointment Booking was the second app we decided to try and we absolutley love it. It's easy to figure out and so far, the things we've needed to customize have been easy to implement. On top of that, the customer service is AMAZING. Ray is freakin' awesome and the positive comments in other reviews regarding his dedication to customer support is what ultimatley sold us on this app. He has not disappointed us and we are very happy to be able to reach out to him whenever we have questions or concerns. He seems to take pride in this service which makesour experience even better and our investment into this application even more worthwhile. We would highly reccomend :))))!

We are in the process of removing Easy Appointment Booking and exploring other apps after making it a key component of our Shopify business this past year because it has been far too glitchy. While we like that the support team is quick to respond and takes the time to try to correct problems, the ongoing issues have had a negative impact on our business. The issues we've had the past two months have proven to be the final straw. First, for several weeks, the automatic confirmation messages sent to clients were not formatting properly, so clients got unprofessional-looking responses with code tags, lack of line breaks and other problems that made the messages garbled and hard to read. It took a few weeks for the problem to be corrected. Secondly, the app had a problem syncing up product variants and custom dates. This has been an ongoing issue, but last week there was a bizarre and inexplicable malfunction that ended up costing us a lot of money after we ran ads and people clicking the links going to our product page could not book times on one of the variants, even though it was tested before the rollout. It seems like the app does not, and never has, been able to handle more than one product variant consistently - ie, two different price points for one scheduled event - particularly if you are using the custom date override function rather than using recurring weekly scheduling. It either nullifies the custom date, or completely opens up the calendar to multiple random dates and times. This was an issue we had to correct ourselves several times last year. Sometimes we had to go back again and again to reset the date using the override function because it would seemingly close the timeslots at random, or simply not save the date correctly. Usually, setting up any event date meant testing over and over again until it "clicked." Last week, a new manifestation of this issue came up, maybe because of recent updates? A customer wrote in saying they couldn't book a time, and when I checked the back end Easy had somehow duplicated my product, so instead of having two variants in one product, it was suddenly split into two product files with identical names. On the customer end, when I tested it to see if I could book, the calendar had no timeslots available. At the top of the customer booking message, I noticed a drop down menu which I'd never seen before that had two choices, both with the exact same name, the name of the product rather than the variants. If you missed this drop down menu or were confused by it, you wouldn't be able to book as it defaulted to the first option with no timeslots, and you could only book if you chose the second option, which did not have our custom date, but instead open ended booking. When I went to correct the problem, I went into the back end and looked at the original product and there was a duplicate that appeared out of nowhere (we didn't set it up, I assume this is Easy's new automated way of dealing with product variants), under which the product variants were listed in the body of both, but neither product retained the custom booking for the specific date we originally set up. In frustration because I could not get the custom date override to work or have the drop down menu disappear, I turned off Easy for the event, and I had to watch my Shopify orders and manually respond to every client making a booking. At this point, ads had been running for three days and the attendance of the event ended up being 1/3 of what was expected. Does this all sound confusing? It was for myself and my tech pro, it completely melted our brains, and it took two hours of trying to correct it before turning it off in frustration. Overall, it doesn't seem like Easy is a good option for folks who have (a) more than one product, variant or price point and (b) wants to book single rather than recurring event dates. It seems like it only wants to work well if you have one product, one price, using the recurring calendar; otherwise, it easily gets messy.
