We couldn't live without this app. We have it installed in three Shopify accounts. It can pull almost any piece of info you could ever need from your Shopify data and you can manipulate in so many different ways to make it work exactly how you need. We setup automated reports that are emailed daily, weekly, and monthly. Any time we have run into trouble pulling a particular data set, the customer service team has been super helpful and responsive. Highly recommend!

The actual app is a lifesaver, given limitations of Shopify reporting. Better Reports gives you access to every single data point that exists within Shopify, and can report on it. The actual functionality of the app and building reports is very easy to use also, works much like an Excel pivot table. The only thing i struggle with sometimes are the titles of all the different value fields just because there are so many! But Customer service is absolutely next level - always a real person who is so quick to answer and who has expert level knowledge of the workings of the app. 10/10 without hesitation recommend. It changed my work-life!

I have used this app for over 2 years. I asked for help when we got it to get the reports formatted the way that Finance has been used to with our previous system. amazing, easy to use and layout, it pulls tons of data. we use to to sync to google sheets and have an entire automated workflow setup based on that single report that saves us approxmiately 10 man hours a week. and we have just started to scratch the surface of its functionality. UPDATE: this product gets better and better. we needed some custom reports and the team made them in a few hours - automated them to google sheets for our financial guy and boom - probably another 5 hours per week saved.

Better Reports has developed many out of the box custom reports that work so well with Shopify. You are able to set up your own customer reports, however, I highly recommend letting them do it for you. There is no cost and they are quick to get back with you. There is nothing better (pun intended) than Better Reports for truly unlocking all the data from your Shopify store. Need to breakdown sales by payment gateway? Done. Need to create a customer segmented order over time report? Done. There is a learning curve, and only thing I'd think would help would be a glossary or faq of what Shopify calls different fields as it's not straight forward what Shopify calls things and how it relates here on Better Reports but otherwise their support is always willing to help :) I've used this on every Shopify store I've owned or managed to get data for marketing reports, for our finance team, for tax reconciliation, and more!

Phenomenal experience with better reports. We were in the midst of a Sales and Use Tax audit from the state and the auditors were requesting very specific reports that I was worried I wouldn't be able to produce due to Shopify's limited reporting options. We operate our online cake sales through Shopify. The standard Shopify reports have very limited value for us because customers pay now for a cake that will be made in the future. We have one online store but two physical locations. Shopify assured me that reports by pickup location and reports by pickup date vs. order date are not possible. I can’t stress how valuable this app or should I say tool has been to understanding our business performance and just simply being able to answer data questions on the fly by building reports intuitively, but not with a complicated interface. I love the scheduling functionality where you can create a report and have it emailed to anyone at any time as often as you’d like as a PDF orExcel sheet. Their customer service is the best that I’ve experienced so far. The only reason it doesn’t have five stars is because they need to invest more and the mobile functionality of the report because I access this report most often with my phone can’t recommend this enough.

Better Reports should work with Stripe to ensure that there is a complete set of data. Stripe populates a field that allows mapping of orders back to Shopify. It does not provide the same reference for refund transactions. As a Result, the field needs to be manually populated after researching Stripe refunds to identify the appropriate reference.

Well what can I say. I needed to calculate fulfilment company commission based on sales which was at different percentage levels per product type and also user group. We had 4 user groups. I managed to achieve a part solution but then had to ask for support. I was amazed that within 24 hrs a custom solution was created which works exactly as we need. Ciara in support was so helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Been using the app for around 1 week now and have created several other solutions which simply aren’t possible using Shopify default reports, including inventory management. Some of which required further customisation by support which again was no trouble. All reports are now scheduled to send on the required dates for full atomisation. Cant recommend the app enough. A real bargain compared to the amount of time saved.

A powerful and easy to use report tool. You can start with one of the built in reports and easily save it as a custom report and redesign it in the way you want. The support is amazing. I reached out to them when I needed help with a report. I got a very swift response from Claudia who created a new version of the report where she adjusted it just the way I needed it, and also posted a very instructive and enjoyable video.
