We set this up on a Japanese store, and the deciding factor was that point redemption can be completed entirely within the cart. Since Shopify restricts checkout UI extensions to Plus, the cart page is effectively the limit on the Grow plan. BLOY handles this well with a banner and modal on the cart page. Choosing the discount code method also lets customers redeem a partial amount of their points, with the remainder staying on their balance — that flexibility has been useful. Almost every string in the app is editable, so localizing into Japanese was straightforward. Support has been the standout. I sent them a request about usability and they shipped the change shortly after. Not many apps actually act on merchant feedback like that.

This app has it all - excellent configuration options, high customization, fast support, app works fast as well. I have no further wishes, thanks Bloy. I like the VIP tiers the most, as well as the settings and how the customer loyalty page generates everything in the right language without having to change a lot. The most work is thinking of the points program and the tiers - this is up to yourselves - but even for that they have an AI tool built in you can use (if you have order history) or you can just use sidekick. Search no more foalks - this is the one.

The “Create Loyalty Page” feature is very easy to set up and took less than a minute, which made the onboarding process really smooth. The popup design is quite simple, and customization is limited — for example, there’s no option to change the font style, which would be nice for branding. However, it still works fine and serves its purpose without issues. Support has been responsive whenever I had questions, which is definitely a plus. The app itself is rich with features and very customizable allowing for a lot of personalization, including but not limited to custom colour schemes as well as even changing and translating text strings. Includes all I could ask for and more, including a tiered customer VIP program and loyalty points. It even comes with a rewards task list for optimizing user retention - users can get extra points for signing up for the newsletter or visiting the store daily. Clever and well executed! There are a couple rough edges here and there -- some fields don't allow for as much customization as others, but the developers seem to take community feedback into account and keep updating their app for more use cases. Overall, very happy with the my choice and I hope to see new features added over time!

I was a little skeptical at first since this app isn't as well known as others, but after trying it out, it has all the features that are advertised on more well-known apps, it's way more affordable for small businesses like mine, and the customer support is top tier. Even when there are small features that they don't have, they will have their developer implement them for us or add it to their list of customer requests to hopefully develop in the future. The UI is very easy to use, and I really feel like this app brings together the features that many people have been looking for. Everything is simple, intuitive, and well organized, so it does not take much time to understand how to use it. One of the things I appreciate the most is that I can customize the text on buttons depending on the language. This is extremely helpful, especially for stores or services that serve customers in different countries. With other apps, I often found that the button text was only available in English, which made it difficult to create a smooth experience for non-English users. I've been using another app for some time, but to add the additional features like VIP tiers would involve a significant price increase. I looked into BLOY and was impressed with the features available. It is a new app so at the time of writing this review it is free, with a flat fee for early users when paid plans are launched. There are A LOT of features available including bonus point periods, order boosters (bonus points with x number of orders in a time frame) and more. Support are responsive and very helpful, the only minor downside is they are in Asian and I'm in the US so the timezone difference is big so sometimes I have to wait until the next day for a response. I like that it integrates with Klaviyo and I can use that to create loyalty related flows to keep customers engaged and coming back.

We’ve been using BLOY Loyalty Rewards on our Shopify store and it has been pretty easy to get started with. The setup didn’t take long, and most of the settings were clear enough without needing too much help. I like that we can create a simple points system for customers and adjust the rewards based on what works for our store. Had an issue regarding customer points updates, but Chloe was right on it. Although she couldn't fix it in situ, she actioned the development team immediately. There was also a subscription offer that was too good to refuse, and she helped to activate this. The App is super simple to use, and customer service mostly always available. I installed several other "popular" Rewards apps, swayed by their reviews, and promptly uninstalled due to their inability to customise, and or difficulty to set up, vs their ridiculously high costs - didn't see the value in them. I landed on Bloy, and thought it looked good from the screen shots, so thought "why not". And wow, so easy to set up, easily customisable, not restricted by pricing levels that mean to in order to get functionality I need to mortgage my house! And whilst the support I have needed is restricted to removing the watermark (that's how easy it all is to install), I'm impressed!

EDIT of my 5 star review. They asked me to review it to get their free tier access. However, after a couple months of usage I learn that you cannot apply earned points on checkout unless you pay for shopify plus to have cart extensions.
