Having a big problem with bots from China, At first country blocker worked perfectly, But the then change to VPN so they were coming from all cities and country since the urls they were going to were not real I add de URL blockers and that worked perfectly, with out blocking real visitors. 5 Stars for Outstanding Support — Even Without Using the App! I downloaded this app but ultimately never needed to use it — yet I'm still giving it 5 stars, and here's why: The support team went above and beyond from the start. They took the time to analyze the bot traffic on my Shopify store and quickly identified the real problem: most of the bots were hitting my checkout page directly. They explained that their app filters traffic on the storefront, but can't intercept traffic on the checkout page since that's controlled by Shopify. Rather than leaving me stuck, they proactively recommended another solution — a WAF (web application firewall) that blocks bots before they even reach my store. I installed it, and it's been working great. What really won me over was their honesty. When I asked whether it made sense to keep both apps running, they straightforwardly told me their app probably wasn't necessary for my situation — unless bot traffic started coming through my other pages. No upselling, no runaround. That kind of integrity is rare. Highly recommend based on the support experience alone

I had paid for several apps on Shopify and none could effectively block bots without blocking seo bots. The VPN settings were default set at moderately high and there was no way around it. This app is by far the cheapest AND the most effective. the customer support is also very good. I am not a tech person and they broke down my issue with the checkout bot I had in a way I auld understand AND they told me what to enable to fix it. This app is very easy to use and the ability to see visits as human vs bot also makes it easy to streamline blocking and targeting IPs. Highly recommend.

I love this app. I was so sick and tired of fighting other countries with stealing my photos and product information, then listing them on their fake websites to fraud people out of money. Since I have installed this app, I have less intruders on my site and this app allowed me to disable the right click option to capture my text and photos. It's sad that we have to be diligent with this kind of fraud, but so thankful for this app because there would be no way for me to stop it without being consumed with it all the time and then I would be neglecting my business. I have another app that can see who comes and goes; this app brought even more in! I contacted them, and they said, "Oh, you will still see it because they come to your website; we just don't allow them to go any further," which is a lie because my other app shows me exactly where they were going. I contacted Shopify support many times since August, as the sessions from China to my store increased every day- by a ton! I've never had an order from China in the last 7 years, so it started to get really worrisome. Shopify couldn't give me any answer, nor did they make it stop. She got back to me IMMEDIATELY (which I especially appreciated since emails from Google are extremely nerve-wracking) and reviewed my site. She said it was not hacked, but made a small tweak to my IP blocking settings that could have triggered concerns. We are requesting a review currently and hopefully all will be ok. I installed this app about an hour ago. There was a China bot on my site scraping the website when I downloaded it. Set country block to China and 2 other countries that try to bot order, and immediately the China bot was kicked off my site. The $3.99 price is fair for only blocking 3 countries. I wish a list of orders would appear when I select the order I want to block, but I found that the app asks me to enter my name, phone number, email, or a lot of other information. Unfortunately, the app is very cumbersome. Perhaps if there was customer service, it would make me happy. I might change my comment for the better.

I've only been using this app for about a week and I love how much insight and control it gives you. I've asked a couple of questions to the team and got really good and in depth replies. I can see myself a long term customer especially with how cheap it is. I would rate this app a solid 5 start but I got to deduct one because of their tactic to influence reviews. On the app they have a 1 to 5 start review button, if you select 5 star it sends you to the Shopify app store page so you can fill an official review. On the other hand if you select less than 5 stars on the app they send you to their own contact form instead in an attempt to divert any non 5 star review away from the official app store. If you ask me that's a bit dishonest since its done to mislead potential customers by influencing reviews. I'm more than happy to change my review to 5 star if they change that practice.

Great customer service, quick and thorough responses. There are a lot more features to this app other than just the country blocker feature. I like to use the "shop visitor report". This feature helps me to know what products people are interested in and what aspects of the website are being used by visitors. Shopify Analytics is very limited and vague when it comes to visitor info, it mostly focuses on sales information. There are also content protection features which can be customized to protect your images from being saved or printed. It can even protect the writing on the site from being copied and pasted.

This app is valuable. I recently noticed a significant number of suspicious sessions coming from Germany, which concerns me. After comparing user reviews, app features, and pricing, I decided to give it a try. First, I blocked visits from Germany and all bots and VPNs. Then, Amy guided me on how to detect IP information, and I successfully blocked all visits from a specific German organization, along with their ASN and ISP (though I'm not entirely sure what those letters mean). During my usage, I also identified many bots crawling my website. By leveraging AI, I was able to pinpoint which ones I could block without negatively affecting my Google rankings or disrupting customer usage. Additionally, this app allows me to prevent image copying—no right-clicking is allowed now. However, I still permit content copying because I believe customers may occasionally need to copy product names. I must emphasise how fantastic Amy's support was! She not only answered all my questions but also checked my settings to help me avoid making any mistakes. I highly recommend installing this app before the price goes up!

I have tried all 4/5 star apps that claim to block traffic from countries. This is the only one that has worked in all countries (especially China). The others "seem" to block China, but this one, when using the extension, really does block it. If you try of those apps, then make sure that you have a few different people in China test it for you. You will find that this one when used with the extension is the only one that consistently does it. In addition, this app has the best interface, the most options, the most complete logging and responsive support. And their support is responsive and really complete in answers.

Not only is this app the absolute best bot, country, and IP blocker, but the customer service at Boostymark is incredibly awesome. The need for an app to block certain Countries from being able to access my website came from receiving a bunch of scam messages and then orders that were marked as fraud. satisfied with the app overall. However looks like there may be room for improvement since I am getting an error message from time to time the last few days :"Failed, Try again". I would certainly give it a rating of 4.5 stars otherwise.

Very useful app, simple to use. My intent was to stop certain folks from certain countries from spamming my online chat. I am able to block by country or city or IP range. I highly recommend getting this app if you are having the same issues. This app stopped them dead in their tracks.

Useful APP. We are inundated with fraudulent order attempts. There are sometimes hundreds of active shopping carts with bots trying to check out. This app saved us. It blocks VPNs and proxies that are known for their malicious behavior, and it does a very good job. We have had zero issues since installing. This is a miracle.
