Before you install: Be aware that once you install the app, you'll get multiple duplication errors in your Google Search Console from the app injecting its extra code into your schema. And the only way to remove the duplicates is if you upgrade to their $100 pro plan, which I feel is pretty frustrating and deceiving.

After several emails asking for a clean up script I have been blocked by Webrex. In the meantime, 10 left over pieces of script. A non-discussion response “there app is the best’. No follow up, no clean script. This is certainly not recommendable. Installed a different app, clearly updating and showing what it actually does, and support is really available, not just for selling extra features. Advice: do not touch the app, it is only interested in upselling, once done they leave you hanging. Upgraded to Elite in the first week, standard schemes worked for some not for other products. As with many other products from the ‘build for shopify’, Shopify support is referring back to the supplier of the app. Resulting in another downgrade of the review.

I’ve been using this app for a long time and overall it does a decent job. The core functionality works as expected and it has helped me improve my store’s SEO and structure over time. However, I really dislike the UX practice of hiding important plan limitations and feature availability behind small hover tooltips. In my case, the information that certain options (like the extended breadcrumb features) are only available on a higher plan was not clearly visible in the interface. Because of this, I spent about three hours trying to implement a multi‑level breadcrumb navigation, assuming I was doing something wrong, when in reality the feature simply is not included in my plan and this is only revealed in a tiny hover tooltip. It’s also important to note that this is not a “set it and forget it” SEO solution. In my case, Webrex was adding structured data fields that I already had in my theme (for example BRAND and similar attributes), which caused duplicate fields in Google’s Rich Results tests. I can still demonstrate these duplicates directly in Google’s testing tools. As a result, my SEO was actually hurt instead of improved, and I had to disable that part of the app. For a tool that targets professional users, I would expect much clearer in‑app communication about which features are accessible on which plan, without relying on subtle hover hints, and more careful handling of structured data to avoid conflicts with existing theme implementations. EDIT: I appreciate the detailed response from the developer. However, I need to clarify one key point: the organic growth they are referring to is not solely – or even primarily – the result of this app. During the same period, we have been working with an external SEO agency for more than three years, doing continuous, manual, on‑page and technical optimization. Attributing the full traffic increase to Webrex and its basic features is simply not accurate. I am frankly quite surprised to see Webrex presenting this growth as if it were mainly the outcome of their plugin. While I do believe the app has contributed something, its share in the overall results is much smaller than the long‑term, hands‑on SEO work done by our team and agency. My original review describes my real experience: confusing UX with key limitations hidden in hover tooltips, and structured data conflicts in my specific setup (for example duplicate BRAND fields in Google Rich Results tests). I can still demonstrate these issues in Google’s own tools, and I stand by every word of the original review. Right after I contacted support about the breadcrumb feature (and later posted this review), Webrex also offered me a separate “SEO package” for 299 USD, where they would analyse and optimise my store. The report they delivered (apparently generated with an AI tool) contained seriously distorted numbers – for example, it showed roughly 80% fewer products than we actually have. This does not inspire much confidence in the quality or accuracy of that service. I also do not feel comfortable with the fact that the app’s support team is trying to sell additional paid services outside of the official Shopify ecosystem in the same context where I, as a long‑term paying customer, simply asked about one confusing, plan‑locked feature. So not only did I have to deal with duplicated structured data and confusing UX, I now also have to publicly correct statements that, in my opinion, misrepresent my case and over‑attribute our hard‑earned business results to this app. I find this overall approach quite unprofessional. Webrex can be a useful add‑on to support day‑to‑day SEO work, but it is not a replacement for a professional SEO agency or ongoing manual optimization. Its role in our results is complementary, not central. Because of these latest interactions, we will be actively looking for an alternative app, and I am updating my rating from 3/5 to 2/5.

So far so good. I've been behind on thousands of products, collection pages, images and more for a few years. I could have done most of this work manually however it would have taken a lot longer given how much housekeeping I needed to do. These crooks just tried to charge my credit card almost $2,000. tell me what app in this day and age should ever cost $2k per month or ever. How is this even legal?! I'm so sick and tired of the subscription moedel being missused by crooks like you all. My Mortgage isnt $2K a month. Like the most expensive thing in life should be a home or rent and you think your product is worth that a month? For what?! Not to mention there was still time on my free trial, or so I thought. I guess its however many days in hours and minutes, not as in ending at midnight, because the free trial should have ended at 11:59, not in the middle of the day today. I was actually going through and cancelling everything when I received the notice from Shopify. Thank goodness Shopify has its own checks and balances against your illegal practices. Like, why would I ever want to give that much money to people Ive never met, spoken with, and dont see any results from their actions?! So beware! Even though their most expensive monthly plan is like $49, they have figured out a way to sneekily include addons that can ammount to almost $2,000 over night without clear messaging and express and expolicit consent to make big charges or so many charges that I could, without knowing accumulate such a big bill over night.

I bought their technical support package not really knowing what to expect. Arpan scheduled a FaceTime call, but the connection was so bad that we couldn’t move forward. I started to get worried I might be getting scammed, so I hesitated to accept his collaborator request. Thankfully, I couldn’t have been more wrong. Not only did the Webrex team optimize my site for better SEO, but their app is amazing! It has everything you need. I really wanted to love this application but unfortunately every change I made had a negative impact on my semrush site audit. I appreciate they have their own measures of success but I still trust semrush other their own indicators. I paid extra to have all my SEO technical issues addressed and they proudly said they had increased it from 60% to 98% but Semrush reported no impact. I enabled all their schema markups for product and merchants but after doing that semrush reported 63 new schema errors. Disabling it within the app resolved it. So after all that I just can't trust what the application is doing in the background

I wanted to believe this app was the best but it was very disappointing to me. The app was glitchy it uninstalled on its own then i had to reinstall and then it charged me 2 times subscription . The app didn't believe there app didn't it accuse me of it which is insulting. Premium plan sucks and like the others who rated this a 1 /2 star i agree. You have to pay for the higher plans to get any improvements with this app . until you have a huge budget forget this one . Hours of communication is not good for USA buyers. They don't have customer service people at the correct times to help. The responses are choppy and not helpful. They charged me 2 times for this app and they better refund it all.

Unfair Pricing and Unethical Practices – A Warning to Shopify Store Owners As a multi-store Shopify owner, I'm deeply disappointed by this app's recent practices. What started promisingly has become a cautionary tale of unfair pricing and unethical behavior. After upgrading to try premium features, I attempted to return to my original plan. To my shock, not only had the price increased, but I also lost access to features previously included in my plan (advanced schema, homepage optimization, Google indexing). These changes came without proper notification. When I complained, their response was troubling. They offered to reinstate my original pricing only if I removed this negative review – a clear attempt to manipulate their app ratings. Their latest "solution" asks me to pay double my original price to regain lost features, with a pressure-inducing 24-hour deadline. I'm currently discussing these practices with Shopify, as I believe they violate platform standards. I strongly advise other store owners to be extremely cautious with this app. Read the fine print carefully and be prepared for unexpected service and pricing changes. In conclusion, I cannot recommend this app. There are better alternatives available that respect their users and maintain ethical business practices. What could have been a valuable tool has instead become a prime example of how not to treat customers.

Before I selected and installed this app I searched checked out websites that had reviewed and provided feedback on this and other similar apps. I checked the schema and rich results tests on their websites. Only people who had installed this app had no issues with their rich text and schema. That led me to choose this app. Since installing this app it's worked pretty well out of the box but the support to iron out a couple of minor issues (I'm a bit of a perfectionist!) has been outstanding too.

Installed this app after having another company try and install schema for 2 months, Within a few minutes of installing the app i had rakesh reach out and ask me if i needed assistance installing the app, so i took him up on it and we got the app installed in no time at all, we ran a few tests on google rich snippets and everything was working perfectly. To be honest - I don't know what this app does, but I was told to install it by a Shopify expert that was working on our account. I still am not 100% sure of what I'm doing - but the support I received was excellent (text / messaging) and once I'm a little further along on our website update, I'll be back w/ more (educated) questions.
