They are scammers! There service doesn't work, but you pay for it! They charge you 29$ on each dispute ! without any action from their side!! You don't get an alert before it's shown on shopify, and they don't make a refund for the customer. So, they just make it worst for you, and charge you extra 29$ additional to bank fees and return amount!!! Contact them many times, and even I deactivate my account with them, they still charge my credit ! I can't get off from this very bad service!!!

DO NOT INSTALL THIS APP. I rarely leave negative reviews, but merchants deserve to know what they're getting into before wasting their time. Chargeflow advertises itself as "Free to install", yet somehow fails to clearly disclose that after spending over an hour installing the app, connecting your store, entering business details, reviewing settings, and working through the onboarding process, you'll be hit with a mandatory $100 authorisation hold before activation. Not on the pricing page. Not prominently on the App Store listing. Not before installation. At the very end, after you've already invested your time. When I questioned this, I was met with AI-generated responses, copy-and-paste templates, and support agents whose sole objective appeared to be defending the process rather than addressing the concern. Even after escalating the matter to management, the response was effectively: "the information exists if you search hard enough for it." That completely misses the point. A requirement like this should be clearly disclosed upfront, not buried in help articles and discovered after merchants have already committed their time. The most concerning part is that after reading other reviews, it became obvious that this complaint has been raised repeatedly by other merchants. The responses provided to them were nearly identical to the responses I received, which tells me Chargeflow is fully aware of the issue and has chosen to continue the same practice. We were evaluating Chargeflow for implementation across more than 14 Shopify stores. Instead of securing a significant customer relationship, they managed to destroy confidence before we even became a customer. If this is the level of transparency and support provided during onboarding, I have absolutely no interest in trusting them with chargeback management. Save yourself the frustration. There are other providers in the market that don't require you to spend an hour setting everything up before springing a surprise $100 hold on you and then sending AI-generated excuses when you question it. Avoid.

DO NOT INSTALL CHARGEFLOW. HUGE MISTAKE. I had this app installed on my store for a couple of years, and I seriously regret it. Before using Chargeflow, I handled my own chargebacks and won around 90% of them. I would maybe lose 1 out of 10. When Chargeflow handled the cases, I lost basically 10 out of 10. The only cases I actually won were the ones where I submitted the evidence myself. Their responses look like generic copy-and-paste templates. No real strategy, no strong custom evidence, nothing that actually feels built for your order. If you are a merchant, you are honestly better off uninstalling this app and using ChatGPT to help you write your own chargeback response. It will give you something more detailed than a lazy generic template. The fees are the worst part. I lost over $4,000 just in Chargeflow fees because they take 25%. Even when I did the work myself, submitted the evidence myself, and won the claim myself, they still charged me just because the app was installed on my store. That is insane. I sell high-ticket products, so one dispute can be expensive. If they take 25% from a case they did not even properly handle, that adds up fast. Also, if the same customer files the chargeback again or the case gets reopened, you can get charged again. So you can win, pay them, then deal with the same dispute again and get charged again. You can literally end up losing money even after winning. This app did not protect my store. It cost me thousands and made chargebacks worse. My advice: do not install Chargeflow. Uninstall it, handle your own claims, upload your own proof, and use ChatGPT if you need help writing the response. Never again.

CURRENTLY OWED $2,117 FROM CHARGEFLOW CONSTANTLY CHARGING ACCOUNT DESPITE APP BEING UNINSTALLED. I had a good onboarding experience with Dave and initially everything seemed very positive. The dashboard looked polished, functional, and easy to follow, which gave us confidence at the start. However, shortly after onboarding, our chargebacks began accumulating to around 50, something our company had never experienced before. At the same time, we began losing chargeback cases at a much higher rate than we had previously. The biggest issue was that the dashboard data was not accurate. While it displayed multiple pie charts and graphs showing disputes recovered, won, and lost, the figures were significantly different from our actual real-world results. This made the reporting extremely misleading and difficult to trust. On top of that, the customer service team instructed us to make changes in Shopify that simply did not exist, which added to the confusion and frustration. Overall, we are very disappointed with our experience using Chargeflow. While the onboarding and UI initially looked promising, the inaccurate reporting, methods and lack of reliable support ultimately made the platform unworkable for us.

CHARGEFLOW WILL LOSE YOUR CASES AND TRY TO STEAL YOUR BANK INFO. Chargeflow submitted my chargeback before their own 5-day evidence window closed, so my proof was never included and I lost the case. They promised a refund but it’s been over a month of excuses (false claims my store was closed, “sent” via Stripe, now PayPal with “issues”). Six weeks later, they’re still emailing me after I told them to stop and asking for my bank info. They also offered a PayPal refund only if I remove my review. Any decent business would give the refund and ask AFTER to reconsider. The audacity to hold a refund I am owed hostage is wild. You can easily respond to chargebacks yourself with the help of AI. You don't need this scam company.

Unacceptable internal policies. I was charge $100 as a card verification fee from chargeflow. Sure, it is only a temporary hold however I am very well versed in applications doing this and am usually subjected to only $1. $100 is completely unnecessary and in addition, they did not even tell me in advance they would charge this fee. When questioning their billing department, I was met with a cold 'this is our policy' message which was a huge disappointment after receiving such great support from Jason with their onboarding team. I will be uninstalling Chargeflow and looking elsewhere for this service.

I was charge $100 without any notice by Chargeflow during set up. This charge is only temporary however this does not make it right. I have successfully subscribed to many apps who complete this type of verification however they usually charge only $1. $100 is unacceptable and when I contacted their support to question this, I was met with a very corporate style 'policy' message which was a extreme contrast to the friendly and personable approach I received from Jason in their customer support team. 5 Stars for Jason. 0 Stars for Chargeflow. I will be looking at their competitors to find an alternative. Jason was great at helping set up my account. Be prepared for a bit of a wait for support but once they get to you, they are super responsive, friendly and professional. Now Chargeflow is set up, I am looking forward to seeing what it can do for my business.

Absolutely shocked by Chargeflow internal Policies. BEWARE. In order to set up your account they will charge $100 as a temporary hold on your card. At no point in the process was I notified of this and I still cannot believe that this happened. I have installed many apps who perform a similar verification of your card, but usually with only $1. $100 is completely unnecessary and with no notice too, it is completely unacceptable. I would Like to add that I was Very Impressed with the support from Jason, he made set up feel very easy. But I am left very upset by this decision and the cold corporate email from their billing department outlining their policy: "At the moment, this is outside our scope, as it’s a company policy that applies to all customers who enroll in our service." Whether it applies to all customers or not does not make the policy correct and in this instance, I believe it makes the situation even worse. I will be looking for an alternative.

We were very satisfied with Chargeflow during the first year of using their service. Unfortunately, in recent months the quality of service has declined significantly. We had a negotiated price of $29 for alerts, yet we were charged $39 and the request for a refund was refused. Additionally, the Alerts feature does not perform as advertised. Instead of the claimed 90% effectiveness, our actual results were closer to 50%. Regarding chargeback management, the 25% fee they take on recovered chargebacks is among the highest in the market. Several competitors now offer comparable or better results at a much lower cost. Based on our recent experience, we cannot recommend the app in its current state.

Chargeflow’s defenses make no sense. They’re extremely basic and usually just repeat the same line: “the customer didn’t follow our terms and policy.” They don’t analyze the case, they don’t check the details, and in my experience, they even got the disputed amount wrong. It’s obviously a copy-and-paste defense. Unless you sell cheap products in huge volumes and don’t care about the outcome of your disputes, stay away from this app. If you want a proper defense, you’re much better off doing it yourself. Just upload the customer’s conversation and order details into ChatGPT and have it generate a solid dispute response for you.

Review updates: Below, the app left a review saying that it won the case on request, which is blatant nonsense. I did not use their services. This case was not won here; the customer received the goods and withdrew the dispute himself, saying that he had received the goods. I have never seen such blatant nonsense. They will simply steal your money and lie brazenly. These are scammers, don't even think about installing their app. I installed the app, didn't use it for anything, and they immediately charged me $10, which Shopify tried to withdraw from my card. I wrote to support and asked them to give me a $10 credit so they would cancel the charge. I had to pay this amount along with other apps. Horrendous service, lies and dishonesty.. They claim to be experts in challenging chargebacks, from my expereince they don't make any difference to taking charge of the chargeback yourself. Worse part is if you and the customer do come to an agreement to void the chargeback you will still lose out the 25% rate... They claim they have good software, yet when i asked them not to challenge paypal disputes on my behalf they claimed it would fine.. but when i won any myself they started billing me straight away!... saving the worst till last.. so if you wish to leave, they will ask you to pay 8% commission on all open disputes.. the way they spin it is you would pay 25% if you won so we are giving you a cheaper alternative.. Kindly stay away and manage disputes yourself, you will save a lot of time and money.

At the beggining the deal was to charge me a percentage of each chargeback won thanks to them. Then days passed by and the started charging me for absolutely everything, straight refunds, lost cases, and when I decided to uninstall the app, they charge me 262€ for 4 usage fees, and they have won me only 2 chargebacks in total. They just charge you for everything and straight away rob you. I will take legal action. They have been robbing me. I will give chargeflow 48h to refund me completely the 262€ or I will do so by myself with shopify billing team and a private legal team.

Absolutely terrible experience. I installed Chargeflow hoping for help with chargebacks, but quickly realized they add no evidence to disputes. I submitted my own info, and their app left cases completely blank, yet they still claimed they were “handling” the disputes. When I tried to uninstall and cancel, I followed their instructions exactly. Despite this, they charged my credit card $17.03 AFTER I requested termination, claiming an 8% fee for a dispute that was still “under review”—which they did zero work on. On top of that, no refund was issued for the $100 I paid when I first joined for alerts option. I was penalized for wanting to leave the service after only a short time of use, and they never disclosed these hidden fees upfront. Their email responses were dismissive, and even after I made it clear I didn’t need their help and would handle my own disputes, they charged me anyway. If you’re a Shopify store owner. It’s a scammy billing model designed to trap you and charge you even after cancellation. I’ve reported them to Shopify and will be disputing the charges with my bank. I unistalled the app after a few minutes and they still charge me.

These are real scammers ! Do not trust them! I paid them for chargeback alerts for months. They didn't catch even a single chargeback and i canceled the service and requested a refund. So far so good! Mariane made it clear that I don't get charged unless they win the case for me, in which they'll take 25%. Sounds fair to me! She's been extremely helpful and kind throughout the process, offering to update me through email, which I prefer. What happened: Customer placed and order and then issued a chargeback 40 minutes later before we even got a chance to send her package. She stated that she wasn't able to receive her package. I refunded her but the chargeback sided with the customer anyway so I'm getting hit with a duplicate refund + chargeback fee of $15. I'm looking forward to seeing how effective Chargeflow will be!

I had already left a one-star review, but I deleted it because they refunded me and promised things would be resolved. Unfortunately, I’m back because nothing has changed. Chargeflow offered “no charge until December 31, 2024”, but they kept charging me even after I deleted the app in January. Now it’s April and I’m still getting charged €90–€100 every month, with no clear explanation. In 2025, I only won one chargeback, so I have no idea where these fees are coming from. Stay far away from this app – it’s misleading, overpriced, and dishonest. I will do everything I can to report them to Shopify and make sure no other merchants fall into the same trap.

If you want to keep your payment processor safe, without holds due to increase of chargebacks when scaling, this is must have app. It also have the alerts feature which refunds the customer before the dispute turns into a chargeback keeping your payment processor dispute rate low. They also handles your disputes, submitting evidence to your payment processor and you are charged a percentage only if the dispute is won. Support is fantastic, Juda makes sure everything is alright if you encounter anything. Just hope on a call with him and he makes sure your needs are fulfilled. If you struggle keeping your dispute rate low this is definitely the best solution!

I had the app installed at the end of 2024. There was some growing pains to figuring out how best to submit disputes, evidence, etc through their app. But the bonus discounts on the initial chargeback wins were enough to push me over the line. Soon after we found out that the advertised discounts aren’t real and they don’t provide support or a way to track this. So onboarding promotions regarding discounts on first chargeback wins don’t actually apply. Other than that, it does speed up the evidence and chargeback tracking

I'm extremely disappointed with Chargeflow. Initially, they made a significant error by submitting contradictory information in response to a chargeback dispute, causing me unnecessary stress and of course, a lost dispute. To make up for it, they promised the next dispute would be handled free of charge. However, when the next dispute occurred, they still charged the standard fee. It's now been weeks of back-and-forth, and I'm still waiting for the promised refund. Communication has been poor, promises have not been kept, and the overall experience has been frustrating. Unfortunately, I can't recommend this app or service based on my experience. UPDATE: After leaving this review, they have finally refunded me, so I am changing to 2 stars instead of 1. It does not charge the bad experience I had and I do not recommend this app. To make it even worse, they kept sending me e-mails to delete this review!

We have had the app installed for a few months now and have not seen a difference aside from having the task "automated". Win Rate over a 6 month period is still at 0%. We do have a business model that Chargeflow may not be familiar with along with multiple factors outside of immediate control. We do appreciate having 1 less task but was hoping for better results. What we would love to see is Chargeflow go back through all the lost/disputed orders that were actually fulfilled and try to get some quick wins (if at all possible) from those.

Lost over €1,000 in just one week because of Chargeflow's inability to respond to disputes on time! This level of negligence is outrageous and completely unacceptable. The fact that I have to deal with these disputes myself shows how unprofessional this service truly is. I demand immediate contact with someone who can take responsibility and provide the support I need. Your lack of communication and failure to act in a timely manner is costing me money and causing immense frustration. This cannot continue.

Definitely better than nothing. I have over 1 year using this app and the customer support and their service has gone to sh**. In the past 3 months I've been charged for fake alerts, my RDR alerts have automatically closed chargebacks in favor of the clients and I have been disenrolled from alerts without my permission just because I asked if it was possible to be disenrolled from RDR and not ETHOCA. Every time I have a problem with them, they treat you as crazy and you need to send evidence of each case and explain 10+ times. It appears as they don't speak English. Their ETHOCA service works fine and their chargeback report submit to the bank works fine as well.

Terrible and Misleading Service Chargeflow turned out to be an incredibly disappointing service. Their sole approach seems to be filling out pre-made PDF templates for chargebacks, with no attention to detail or consideration for the client’s actual needs. They just submit the documents, hoping to win a few cases here and there, but there’s no sign of professionalism or expertise. Additionally, if you don’t closely monitor your billing, they sneak in extra charges or unjustified fees. They offer "discounts" that might seem appealing at first but are just a way to mask hidden costs. On top of that, they submit chargebacks without having all the necessary details, significantly lowering the chances of success. An experience to forget. I would not recommend Chargeflow to anyone looking for a reliable and transparent service.

Fantastic app. For years we used CB911 and when they alerted us, we had to login, find the last 4 digits of the card, then go search for it in our payment processor and issue the refund manually, then go back into CB911, and mark it as refunded. We recently received a Chargeback and ChargeFlow alerted us but also went in and refunded the order on our behalf before it became a chargeback. Our team had to do nothing. Great service and must have to keep your % low. Also, Mariane in support was super helpful.

Avoid This Company: Unethical Practices and Poor Service I had a highly disappointing experience with this company, which relies on unclear and unfair practices. I was charged $903.65 for "three app usages" as they claim. However, only one chargeback was involved, and I successfully resolved it by providing all the necessary information myself. The company merely attached what I had already supplied, contributing nothing significant to the resolution. As for the other two so-called "usages," they were disputes related to Klarna that were not even visible in their app. I handled these disputes independently. Furthermore, I explicitly requested that the company NOT manage Klarna disputes due to their consistently poor handling, but they ignored my instructions. The previous month, I was charged an additional $200 with no explanation whatsoever. In essence, this app helped me recover a $887 chargeback (which I resolved on my own) but charged me $900 for doing so. I STRONGLY DISCOURAGE anyone from using this app. It employs non-transparent and unethical practices, leaving the client worse off.

Mariane from Chargeflow was super attentive, super responsive and did her best to try and reverse a chargeback for me. Through no fault of her own, nor the app's, I appear set to lose a chargeback case for around $575....as it appears as though without my knowledge, the card was fraudulently used. So the big banks, still make their money with their $25 Chargeback fee on top of my basically stolen goods.....you would think the banks would have insurance to protect the retailer, who is supplying the goods with a card authorised by the banks in good faith, but not in this world.
