This app solved so many problems for us! We use combined listings instead of Shopify's native variants and that totally messed up our search engine - I was wasting so much time boosting products and doing customer support for people who couldn't find what they wanted. Now the Search works perfectly, and it's very easy to find anything in the shop. And that's not even why I got the app! That's just an added bonus. I got the app for advanced filtering options - we have a wide variety of product types and Shopify's native 25 filters were not doing it for us. Great app for allowing you to use as many filters as you need. Even groups my product and variant metafields into one filter if they have the same namespace and key. There are three different ways you can display the filters and I wanted it on my collections in the sidebar right next to the products but that required some coding I had a hard time doing myself. Reached out to developers and Nikita helped get it all squared away within a day. Excellent service, good price, does what I need.

I could not find an option on how to search tags . As all my products have tags but none of them showed in the search results I uninstalled and cancelled the trial. I hope in the future they can add weights to different fields like description, title, tags, metafields so that the search function is powerful as it should be . The default search option of Shopify is quite bad in my opinion and these kind of apps should really improve on the basic features of the Shopify search options

I highly recommend Cloud Search & Product Filter. In all the ways Shopify's default search and filter application is lackluster and limited, this application is sterling and expansive. Further, Nikita and his team are fantastic. This app is excellent; it allows for the customization of label options for different series pages. My Shop has over 20 collections and 200 products, this feature provides better navigation for my customers. Their customer service team is also very reliable. Since I don't know how to code and couldn't move the filter to the left sidebar myself, the customer service team installed the code for a left sidebar one day after receiving my email. They also helped me adjust the font size and other issues. I will continue to use this app.

We are very satisfied with using Cloud Search to optimize the search of our website. The app is easy to use and one of the great things about it is that it is evolving so that some of our needs and suggestions have been met after installing and starting to use the app. The app integrates with our multilingual store and there is always help for whatever problem we might have. We had some custom work done by a third party to have the app styled more to our specific needs but since our needs were a bit specific, we don’t find this to be a fault of the app. I do wish the app took manual listings in the collections more into account when filters are applied because this would greatly improve our ability to highlight specific products even when customers are filtering unnecessary products away, but I am told this is a work in progress. As the manual listings are now taken into account, we have no more concerns with the app and we would definitely recommend it to others.

ONLY hiccup I have is the results of the search sometimes report on the searched item too quickly and breaks it up into unnecessary pieces...... To illustrate, imagine the search term is "pantaloons".... I will have a big list of "zero search results" for the following results: "pan" "pant" "panta" "pantal" "pantalo" "pantaloo" and "pantaloon".... instead of the actual searched term of JUST "pantaloons"..... It's almost as if the search itself is pulling the word too quickly and adding it to the list of no-results, when someone isn't even done typing it out. Even then, this app is still amazing.

This app has only one job and it can't do it properly. By default, filters that already exist add new tags automatically, fact that it's not explained anywhere. However, if you create a new tag filter from scratch it won't do that (also not mentioned anywhere). You will go crazy not understanding why certain filters just reselect all tags out of nowhere. In addition to this, the UX is atrocious. When you edit a filter there is no "save" button, so whatever you did it's done. If you add too many collections to the filter where it should appear you can't see all of them, so you will need to remember them instead (absolutely great if you onboard someone new in the company and they can't see this, yay!). The more I use this app the more I feel it's really badly done. Also, customer service was kind of arrogant.

At first, I thought that Dawn was fine. However, I had a problem with the large number of products in my store. Shopify has a specification that if the number of products in your collection exceeds 1000, you cannot narrow down your search. Love the App easy to use and config. The only thing I would add is to optimise the search within SKU. If the SKU is JJG3632, and I only write 3632 in the search, nothing appears. It should search with the number also, not the exact text. Easier for the customer if they don't know the the parts brand.

This is the best search and filter app I have found, and believe me I have tried them all as I specifically wanted a filter where customers could choose to browse by tag or category. BEWARE No price slider!!! You have to add certain price bands rather than have a price slider which isn't great. Furthermore, the customisation on the side menu is also not that great. I'd be cautious with this.

Honestly one of the best Apps available for an ecommerce store. I use the filters so that customers can filter by size, colour etc. Secondly the team are there to help at any stage of the installation. Really worth it!!!
