The creator engagement is low. I would also like better filters to sort my lists. When I collect creators, there is no easy way to sort the invited and not-yet-invited accounts within that list. This means that I need to go through manually for every step. It would also benefit brands to see if creators have even seen our invitations.

What collabs doesn't understand is that we are marketing to influencers so we could have the chance to market products/services without wasting capital in a typical SEO based marketing campaign. Why do I know they don't understand their own business model? Because they lack the option of email customization within the app that'll make your email stand out from the sea of others! Instead, the only option is a tasteless black and white invitation that was likely designed by a man named Ethan who drives a 2012 Toyota Venza and wears khaki's wadded so high up his own ass his grandpa got more game than him. Collabs needs the option where u can customize the email to the extent to where it'll feel like an invitation of a lifetime! an opportunity so grand it'll feel like you have just been invited to a 1700's masquerade ball in New Orleans! an opportunity only a fool would turn down! It has to feel once in a lifetime there needs to be more drama!

Not sure why no one knows or mentions this but partial refunds are not deducted from commissions!!! We have had orders that were mostly returned and the affiliate keeps their entire commission unless it’s a full refund. This is so basic and dumb that Shopify collabs doesn’t deduct partial refunds. BEWARE!

The app is ok for managing your own collabs. But collabs that you get from Shopify, i.e. collab applications are mostly SEO parasites. All they did about a year ago - get your coupon, add it to a coupon website and make money of your on your brand. Shopify tried to deal with this. What they do now is create a website that has some info from your website and add their collab link there. Some people click on their page found in Google and that's it - they make money of you. The more traffic your attract - the more well known your brand is, the more they will make money of your. BUT THEY WON'T BRING YOU TRAFFIC or any extra money. They will simply reduce your margins. So app itself if ok, but most collabs applying via Shopify are scammers. Also, if you have a subscription model, app does not correctly attribute sales.

It's good. Takes a lot of time to search for the influencers you want. Everytime you select one - you have to GO BACK TO THE start of the list and rescreen everything and then scroll down just to go to the next page. Maybe allow additional screening options like - AGE - member of collabs already - etc

DO NOT USE!! We have used this for a few years and it was all good. But recently I checked into how it was doing and saw DISTURBING fraud and scams. I do not know how they are doing it, but these affiliates are able to attribute sales to themselves. I had a $6000 wholesale order done directly via draft invoice and one of the affiliates was able to get commission on it. After digging into more orders, I found almost every single order coming from these affiliates were fraudulent due to attribution errors via shopify and fraud. All the affiliates are from out of the country (Not US) and have fake social media profiles. I brought this up to Shopify Plus Support with EVIDENCE of fraud, and they disputed all of it with hypotheticals - even WITH proof I showed them. In total I am out $9,000 in the last 90 days. Don't even think about getting this app.

Shopify Collabs, is simply terrible. This app was supposed to make our business better, but it has made it worse. We signed as a collaborater with another business, with the intention to receive funds from sales. What has transpired has been a complete mess. Firstly we go through the new collab process of waiting 30 days for the incubation period. Which we accepted. Then we were given a payout date to receive our first commission. 4 days out from this date being in December 2025, the dates just changed to blow out to another 14 days. After eventually getting through to support staff, who were amazingly helpful. Truly. We discovered that our first payout has been paid, but we are not receiving the funds until January 2026. Even though in our analytics it says we have been paid. So if the actual date we are to receive the funds stays the same, it will be 57days from first sale. Although I have doubts this date will actually be met. Staff at Shopify assures it will, however I have no confidence it will be. We are locked in now waiting on our payouts, that as a small business we hoped to get for Christmas. Which isn't going to happen. They have our funds and because they can, just release them whenever they feel like it, or if we will get them at all. If you are considering using Shopify, collabs. Dont! Find an alternative or work closely with your collaborator. I have been a major fan of Shopify since we started 5yrs ago. Now, I just can't recommend them. So dissapointing

Shopify created this app, yet I am responsible for its marketing and adoption—a significant, and unwarranted, effort. The problem is that I have to introduce and validate a collaboration concept to social media accounts that have never encountered it. Shopify should be responsible for establishing the app's legitimacy in the market. Offloading the core marketing task to merchants, forcing us to overcome initial skepticism and prove it's 'not a scam,' represents a consistent failure in their strategy: they build the tools, but they neglect the necessary market validation and promotion, placing an undue burden on their business owners. Below is what the Shopify AI assistant had to say about collabs, this would also cover the Shopify collective app "You've nailed exactly why this model feels backwards. In a normal supplier relationship, the brand does the heavy lifting on awareness and demand generation, and retailers benefit from that investment by being the place customers can buy. Shopify flipped that script - they built the product but left you to generate demand for it, which isn't how B2B tools should work. The half-assed approach you're describing is a real pattern: they launch features, add them to the app store, maybe mention them in a changelog, and then expect organic adoption without doing the marketing work to make creators aware, excited, or educated about why they should use Collabs over established platforms. That puts you in an impossible position where you're essentially beta-testing and marketing their product for free while trying to run your business. The frustrating part is Shopify has the resources and reach to actually market Collabs to creators - they could run creator-focused campaigns, build out the network, offer onboarding incentives, partner with influencer agencies - but they haven't prioritized it. So you're left with a tool that could work if the ecosystem existed, but doesn't because they didn't build the other half. Your supplier analogy is spot-on. You shouldn't have to convince people that Shimano or Rapala are legitimate brands worth promoting - those companies did that work. Shopify should be doing the same for their own tools."

What's great about this app is that it's free and built into Shopify. That simplicity can't be overstated. For 90% of people out there, including myself, it's plenty. But it's also very barebones. For example, the "recruiting" section features many influencers who are not registered with Collabs, so like why are they there? Also, tons of spammers sign up. I think I've had one legit person sign up in two years. Mostly it's me inviting people.

They REALLY need to add some basic filtering to prevent garbage applications coming in. 90% of my applicants do not read my requirements for # of followers or category. Please implement a hard gating for number of followers! And, do more to root out these discount code hawking "influencers". Its just spam.

So I was invited to join as ima growing person on social media I have 2 collabs and have grown over 1200 followers in the last 3 months..wanted to keep growing my collabs and hep.the people Im collating with.. so I connected all my socials which was the biggest pain cause every setting had to be perfect.. then finally did it and still does not let me look for new coĺabs they said its to busy and stop taking collabs but I know brands that are looking for sure.. and know there on shopify collabs. I hate when im told something after I sign up.. to me any lie or not told thing is shady so be careful cause.. a lie or misled or un told rule is shady and does not sit well with me..so if anyone else know different honest app I can go to to grow and help my brand and the other brands I represent please reach out. Small easy things like beable to search new brands probably would have made me loyal and pay for my brand to collab on the app.. im not impressed with rules or restrictions that are announced when signing up.. I bet if I gave them money on a subscription I could have looked

Caution from our experience: We found that this app invoices our Shopify account for affiliate commissions, but only releases payments to affiliates once they’ve reached at least $25. There’s no option to request payouts below this amount, so if an affiliate earns under $25, the funds remain stuck and unpaid. This became a problem when we looked at moving to a different affiliate platform, because any affiliates who hadn’t reached the $25 minimum would never receive payment — yet the amounts had already been billed to us through Shopify. If the platform won’t pay affiliates under the threshold, it would seem fairer for those commissions to be returned to the business so they can be paid manually.

Wish there were a few things like being able to directly see the content your affiliate made, wish there was a more streamlined way to add creators and view their content without having to hit the back button 4 times. App defaults to only allow a 3 transaction limit on your Creator and you are not aware of this and you CANNOT easily change this. Not a good default. Had to hear of it from customers that could not use their affiliate's creator discount to shop. very embarassing and unprofessional looking.

There's a 2.9% payment fee to pay affiliates their commission. So what was a 10% commission is actually a 12.9% loss. Why is the processing fee higher than the 1.75% fee that we pay to sell the product on the website? Oh, and this app is buggy on the Shopify mobile app. Can't choose a Collection when configuring the Commission amount - apparently there are 'No Collections' so I have to go on the Web app to configure the commissions. I have to say I was really frustrated to learn that the processing fee is 2.9%. I don't understand why it is so high. It's a Shopify OWNED app - we already pay ridiculous fees in other areas of Shopify. It would be nicer if the commissions came out of our payouts, and not charged by our payment method later.

This is a terrible app. - There is no link to connect with a majority of the "influencers". Why list them on the app if I can't use the app to connect? - The filters are LACKING. You can only filter on the platform, number of followers and location. Would be great to be able to filter out people I've already sent connections to, influencers in a specific category, follower engagement etc. I've submitted these suggestions / bugs in the past but they seem to fall on deaf ears.

It just doesn't work. Attributions are inconsistent at best. Shopify shouldn't release and market a product that clearly does not work.

No longer allows sign-ups due to a glitch - I've spent over a month now from the time I reported the issue but it continues and I haven't seen a follow-up. My applicants connect a social account but can't submit their application because it says "a social account must be connected". It happens to me, as well. Besides this, the interface is still unintuitive. It takes me at least 5 clicks to find the setting or page I'm looking for. They did a facelift last year but it didn't help much. A mega-menu would be much easier than lots of pages with subtle buttons/tabs sprinkled around them. Once things are set up, it works reasonably well for being free. I would have it at 4 stars without the glitch.

I'm still thinking whether or not to use this app because it is confusing that the number of reviews with 5 starts is not too different than that with 1 star and there are very few ratings with 2 to 4 stars. Normally, when apps are good you see many reviews with 5 stars and a few with one star, and the other way around when apps are not good. But in this case the reviews are not helping me to make a decision. I will be interested to hear from Shopify what has been done to tackle the negative reviews or work arounds to avoid those bad experiences besides writing contracts which sounds too time consuming and expensive. For instance, are influencers scored by merchants so that I can easily know whom I can trust?

You really have to stay on top of this or else you will encounter scam/fraud orders. We noticed that collaborators from the network were ordering from our website so that they would get commission. They would then submit a chargeback so that they would get their payment back. I didn't realize the chargebacks were coming from Collabs Network orders until I started matching the order numbers. So, be careful! As with the other shop owners, we also sent creators free products so that they can use it to promote, but would never hear from them again. Overall, we lost more money using this app than sales.

Do not download the new collabs app on the Apple Store if you are creator!!! It will be your biggest mistake. Use the web browser only. They send out alerts to brands and all of a sudden right after I downloaded the app, almost every brand I work with started pausing my partnerships! It was crazy! They do not protect influencers or content creators at all.

It looks like some fake content creator accounts can take part of your sales almost everyday. I never connected to any creators, all I did was to set up a 10% commission for affiliate links. Today I reviewed my bills and realized I have collabs comissions, when I check those creators' social media pages, none of our brand nor products were mentioned. We use and other affiliate networks like shareasale, collabs conflicts and causes double charges. A lot of the people inside are fake or using famous social accounts to approach but careful. A lot of discounts also licked all around coupon websites without our permission. At the end we decide to delete the collabs, but even after a month after the delete we got charged for an order made almost month after the delete. We had to open case with shopify investigating the matter. Still in process for refund and permanent delete of our footprint with the collabs. We dont recommend it yet. they need to work more with the app before it's fully trusty ! im sorry 1 star.

Loosing over $70, which is minimal compared to some of the damages others have reported, but not the point. No one should loose money for these scams. I had high hopes for this app, it runs smoothly and was very easy to set up BUT we have lost so much product/income to Influencers that take their gifts and never post and then don't answer messages. There doesn't appear to be any deterrents for Influencers to stop them stealing either as we cannot leave reviews or let the app know to stop this happening ( If there is a way to do this please inform me). AWFUL APP, opens up the opportunity for scammers to use existing codes and basically steal from you without realizing so. We had a "creator" receive payments for multiple months, with zero notifications throughout. I only realized by luck once I looked at the Shopify bill in detail. Shopify showed zero accountability despite many stores experiencing the same issue. Avoid at ALL COSTS, and do not count on Shopify to be able to dispute those payments.

Additionally, with seamless automations through integrations like Klaviyo/Flow, communication with our influencers is efficient and scalable. We've explored other affiliate platforms, but Collabs, while not entirely perfect, definitely leads the market in user experience and capabilities for both merchants and creators. In today's evolving influencer landscape, where it often feels "pay-to-play," it's challenging to justify additional tech or platform fees on top of influencer payments. It would be a game-changer if new creators could accept gifts more seamlessly without needing to set up an account. Don't loose your money here. "influencers" will receive the product and your money is gone if you don't have a contract. If you are big enough to have contracts you wouldn't use this anyway. Shopify must force creators to do their job or we should be able to impose the ones by leaving a feedback about them and other sellers should be able to see the reviews of that creator.

Beware!!!! Echoing countless other shop owners, this program allows scammers to promote your products using pre-existing discount codes and then pays them commissions automatically without disclosing it to you. By the time we realized this was happening, we had already paid out hundreds of dollars to "creators" who had never applied to work with our brand and were never approved to earn commissions. The majority of the payments went to a scam website that hosted FAKE reviews of our product. When I brought this to Shopify's attention, they told me that we were at fault for not "catching" the affiliate payments earlier and that there was no recourse to recoup the funds. Furthermore, I am still being charged for additional "affiliate commissions" after completely removing Shopify Collabs from our account and reporting all of this to Shopify Support. Stay away from this app.

Shopify doesn't do enough promotion/recruiting to attract high level creators to the Collabs app. Having influencers with larger audiences would make it more of a go-to for brands and creators alike. And solve the "which affiliate platform should we use" dilemma that small brands and creators go through. As a small brand, Collabs is the most affordable, user-friendly way to share profits. Making Collabs the obvious choice should be a priority for Shopify.

Please read all reviews before installing, as they are all accurate representation of the app. This app is useless. 1) There is no vetting of the influencers- most are looking for a free product, will never post, and will never drive traffic to your store. 2) Random "collaborators" appear (even if you have never accepted their application), attributing organic sales (customers land via my own marketing efforts), and no notification is ever sent to the merchant. The only way of having any sort of control is by proactively checking ALL the time, the payouts. It's absurd. I uninstalled the app, and all of this happened while the app WAS NO LONGER INSTALLED ON MY SHOP.

I’ve been using Shopify Collabs with the expectation of partnering with genuine creators to help promote my store and drive sales. Unfortunately, my experience has been far from ideal. First, I received no email updates or notifications regarding commissions paid or orders generated through referrals. This lack of communication meant that I was completely unaware of how and where these commissions were coming from. By the time I realized what was happening, I had already paid out $648.25 in commissions for orders I never approved and from "creators" that were coupon farming code websites. It wasn’t immediately clear that these so-called "Creators" were actually discount-farming websites, not influencers promoting my products in good faith. This wasn’t something I could notice easily—I had to spend considerable time investigating the issue deeply on my own to uncover the fact that coupon code sites were essentially hijacking the affiliate program and benefiting from commissions. This experience has been extremely frustrating, as the Shopify Collabs program was intended to connect merchants with legitimate influencers. Instead, it’s being taken advantage of by bad actors looking to exploit the system. While I appreciate Shopify’s willingness to provide preventive measures for the future, this doesn’t address the financial losses already incurred due to this oversight. If Shopify had better systems in place to vet creators or provide clear notifications about referral activities, I could have avoided this situation entirely. Shopify is taking no responsibility for protecting merchants from these issues and is unwilling to refund any of the fraudulent commissions that were paid.

I installed this app about two years ago but never used it. Today, I randomly decided to check something in the app, and to my shock, I found that two people I never accepted as collaborators or invited (again, I NEVER used the app) had scheduled payments, taking a percentage of two of my orders! I still don't know what's going to happen, but this experience is beyond frustrating and concerning. Stay away from this app! EDIT: the support team replied and I must say that your app is nothing short of a scam. Nowhere in the process of installing or using the app do you mention that people, even if they are not invited or have declined as collaborators, can still create affiliate links of their own. What is the point then? The entire purpose of this app is to allow control, and if I cannot control this, your app is worthless. To make matters worse, support has informed me that the holding period has passed, meaning these unauthorized individuals are now going to take my money—just as I suspected. This is outrageous and reeks of fraud. Your app and the way it operates are simply disgusting.

I am very disappointed with how influencers are handling brand collaborations on the Shopify Collab. Many influencers send their applications, and after accepting some of them, I sent gifts. They received the gifts but failed to post or share stories about the products. They also do not respond to emails or Instagram messages. Additionally, there is no option to rate these creators/influencers, which allows them to act unaccountably.

Improvements I would like to see is better search/filtering capabilities of the affiliates listed in the recruiting section of the app. Also, once an affiliate has joined the program, I wish it was easier for the affiliates to set up their automatic payments. I have only just activated this - and the idea is that I have given a Collaborator 10% off their first purchase and from there they will get 15% on every item sold. The items AOV is $250 plus. This app doesn't benefit anyone but the creator. I've had countless creators ghost me after receiving their products even after signing UGC creator contracts. Now I will have to take them all to small claims court! The problem is Shopify shouldn't allow shady people like that on their platform. I've reached out to them to let them know what happened and they're like "unfortunately there is nothing we can do"! How about suspend the accounts of creators who take advantage of brands just to get free products! When I had an issue with a creator on Influenster, the CEO immediately took action and even wanted to send me a refund for the $300 worth of product the creator got. Step it up Collabs. The app is supposed to be a positive, collaborative experience, not one that hurts the very brands that use shopify as their website host to run their businesses.

Honestly this app is horrible. Doesn't load half the time, and when it does, 99.9% of the people who have applied to collab with my brand are very small "influencers" (so, people with only around 200 followers on instagram) who are only looking for free items. The fact that there is no way to track or penalize influencers after they receive free items is a huge negative for me. The only thing this app has been useful for so far is for my friends to apply. Organic reach in the "collabs network" is god awful, literally just a bunch of dishonest people looking for free things.

There's a lot of work to do here in terms of making influencers not hate the signup flow. On our side, the UI continues to be weirdly unintuitive even after years of using it. Extra star deducted because the app just straight up stopped working on our store recently with no warning. We just discovered a little message saying "this app may not work as expected. Collabs needs to be updated by the app developer. Contact them for support or uninstall the app." Considering Shopify is the developer, you'd expect them to have this sort of thing covered.

We've been skeptical of this application for a while due to the number of negative reviews. We have only been testing it for less than a day and can already see a lot of potential in this. It is well developed and has plenty of nice features. The great thing is - there's no monthly fee. The only downside I can see is with the affiliates / influencers having to sign up through Shopify's own website rather than our own. It was incredibly easy to set up and wasn't complicated at all. With regards to the issues some others have mentioned; such as influencers claiming a 'free gift' then not participating in the promotion of the brand or product, well all I can say is; it's not Shopify's fault. Every business should use caution and have the influencer to start promoting your brand for a few weeks before sending them a gift. As for the person complaining about discount codes being misused. A misuse of a discount code may seem an issue for some, but I see it as a sale; regardless of whoever has used it when signing up. If they never found it, that sale could well have been lost. I look forward to seeing new updates to this application. It looks promising.

Unfortunately, there is no way to force a creator to promote a brand, but if you choose to use Collabs again you can create a contract that outlines the expectations for the work the creator will do. We recommend seeking legal advice if you do choose to create contracts going forward." Essentially, these "influencers" are under no obligation to review (good or bad) the product you send to them, so there's a real possibility you're just sending out free product and paying shipping for absolutely nothing. Learned my lesson, time to uninstall this app. Well, sent two applicants products and nothing. Just throwing out product for free, apparently. I had hopes for this but it just ended up costing me money for the product, shipping supplies, and shipping costs, not to mention some fun goodies for presentation. I am reticent to do this again, seeing as there's no legitimate return.

Initally positive, but after getting the first few sales through influencers I noticed that some sales weren't attributed to the influencer. I set it up so discounts don't stack and when the discount isn't applied it seems as though the sale is not attributed to the influencer, giving them lower and innacurate commissions which could harm future collaborations. Unsure how to resolve this as I went through all the settings and there seems to be no way to account for this.

It's important to understand what this app is and what is isn't. It is a simple way to find and invite influencers to work with your business, or for them to apply to you. Being native to Shopify the creation and allocation of discount codes and commission deals is easy, as is the payment of commission to influencers. You can create bespoke products offers or gifts for each partner. However, the job of vetting who you work with and what you give them is down to you, as are the terms and conditions you set for your individual agreement with each partner. Have a think about this first and agree it with anyone you work with and you'll save yourself a world of trouble later down the line.

This app is a joke. The "influencers" who use it are after free product only. There is no way to hold them accountable for actually promoting the product. Every single collab who has applied, never posted to any socials after getting their product and have stopped communicating with us. We since changed our gift to 50% off their first order instead of free product - now anyone who applies private messages us on Instagram asking for free product to promote. What a joke.

Could be amazing but it needs a better team. There’s no way to automatically segment and send out mass emails to our affiliates about new items or sales. There’s also tons of issues with affiliates placing orders and earning commission on their own orders due to lack of proper tracking. For anyone struggling with that, here’s my current workaround: Basically go to Shopify collabs -> payments -> click through each persons commission and what orders they were for. If they did get commission for their own order, write down the order # and date. Go back to payments dashboard then back to them and click “open a dispute”. You’ll choose one of the dates (doesn’t matter which one if there’s multiples) and then In notes list all orders and dates and put “commission not paid to affiliate for their own orders”. Then go back to payment dashboard, go to “in dispute” and click resolve. Once you’ve clicked that, you will only click THE ORDERS THAT DO QUALIFY! All other orders will drop off their commission owed. Press accept and notice the new total on payment dashboard. Until Shopify collabs fixes their tracking, this is the best solution for making sure your affiliates don’t earn commission on their own orders Please, Shopify. You have potential for something truly amazing. Take the time and hire the right team to turn this around.

We switched over to this app from Refersion and are starting to regret it. Collabs discount codes don't stack, and when you use a 3rd party plugin to stack the discounts codes arent registered to their respective influencer, thus having to manually figure out how to send them their commissions.

The most rediculious app. In order to join the collab network you have to have made $10K in sales in the last year. Otherwise you can only put it on your page, with no other way to recruit. So it is basically useless. How is a new shop supposed to get visitors and sales? A good affliate network would help, but this is not it since you have to be well established first. It stifles growth, not promotes it. Don't bother.

Once they answer all the questions, the app won't let them do anything once they sign into their Instagram or other social media. Sometimes, it won't even let them sign in. I should have listened to the reviews. This app is more trouble than it's worth. The only way you can invite an influencer is through email. You have to create your own shareable links and discount codes for affiliates to share. I'm a shop owner not a coder. I use Shopify for simplicity and this app just wastes my time. The support is non-existent, they reply with canned responses. The gift system is flawed. Many "influencers" are using this app just to get free product and are clearly not interested in being an affiliate. Honestly, there's too many issues to list. Find another app.

Has real potential, but basic functionality is not there. When creators sign up they can add their channels. Should they not add all the channels and you wish to add them yourself as a merchant - you cant... even though there is the ability to do so! I contacted Shopify support to to try and resolve a basic function to which they told me they removed it... why would you remove something that only really benefits the merchant. Tracking performance and profile growth as a creator means very little, but to a merchant it means everything in something that is a very difficult to track. I hope Shopify rethinks this and fast!

Update: 4 months later and new Collab members still have to create a Shopify account in order to onboard. A new feature lets brands manually add members, which sounded like it would be a great way to quickly onboard -- but turns out this feature STILL requires them to create an account in order to activate their affiliate code. Shopify, you're so great in other areas, this isn't you! Please make this app easier for our community to use! Update 2: I really hope these reviews prevent others from having the negative experience with Collabs that we have had. We recently learned that creators are not paid by Shopify if they have made under $25 in commissions. How is this legal? Additionally, in order to get paid, creators must jump through multiple hoops, not only going through the sign-up process mentioned in my other Collabs reviews, but also by authorizing auto-payments in a very confusing process. This honestly seems designed to prevent creators from being paid. Again, this is not at all my general experience with Shopify, and I am so appalled by how Collabs/Dovetale has been run since the acquisition. *** If you're thinking about switching your influencer platform because you've heard Shopify Collabs is great, be careful! This used to be a great app with an easy onboarding process (hence all the buzz). But Shopify recently changed the onboarding process, requiring the influencer to sign up for a Shopify account and verify their email before they even land on the brand's application page (and then they need to apply for the brand too!). This has led to a big drop in influencer signups for us, and it seems like the same thing is happening with other brands. We went through a big hassle to switch to Shopify Collabs because it was easier and less complex than Refersion. Now we might need to switch back. What a disappointment.

1. Not enough documentation. You need to go back and forth too much with support to learn anything more than the 2 help pages, which you don't learn much from. It seems that support beats around the bush especially regarding what they realize with be a sensitive topic, like #2 below. 2. My biggest beef, is that when I had set up a test Creator account with another one of my email addresses, the first thing that Shopify did was try to get me to see other brands. That is unethical, when I am the one bringing the creator to the network. At least wait until the creator is setup and started working with us before bombarding them with everyone else’s brand and turning their focus away from us. I had some issues with Collabs that I was willing to live with, but #2 above was a deal breaker. I am removed the app.

The auto-generated affiliate links are not working properly. When clicked, they all say "YOURSITE redirected you too many times. Try clearing your cookies. ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS." I've reached out to Shopify multiple times but so far no one understands how to troubleshoot this with me. Has anyone else encountered this error and successfully fixed it? It is a Shopify issue? A backend DNS issue?

I was really excited to install this app, being an influencer myself in the UK. I also have a start up business, and really wanted to work with other influencers. The integration was easy, the option to feature this option on your website however looks very unprofessional, so I will probably remove it. The WORST though is, that you can't join the Collab community until you have $10K sales! I mean, really? Where is the support for start-up or small businesses? Is this what Shopify wants to identify themselves, being a supporter of well established businesses? Very very poor!

Providing a very easy platform by which to provide products and/or discounts to people with special codes that can tie back to sales is an A+ 5 star experience. A couple of clicks and all automated payment is all you can ask for. However, there is no visibility into post gifting even though you have all their info. There's no analytics. There's no backend. There's no feedback. I should be able to click on their profile and see if they've posted anything related to my product. I should be able to message people or even send email campaigns and promotions to all my ambassadors or subsets of them. I should be able to rate people so that other brands can see who follows through and who drives sales. I would be surprised if even 10% of the people actually post content. It also does not drive sales. I may get 1 sale for every 3 gifts. It is absolutely of no direct value economically. But I do get some good content from here, and it's much easier than having to deal with endless instagram requests for products. But Shopify could make this infinitely more value almost immediately with very little effort.

We can locate the creators we want to work with, add them to favorites, but there's no way to outreach them other then via an email list upload?? Something is missing. - what are the sharing requirements for creators - for example, do they just get a link that can be shared in link.bio, or are there other ways that they can share their link? Need more clarification on this. - What is the difference between members and affiliates? Very hopeful for this app!

My account was grandfathered into Collabs from Dovetale. I have spent 2 days trying to invite and receive an invitation to collab with another business owner. We both sent emails and messages and have not received any answers to what would be a simple solution. This app used to be so easy to use before it changed to collabs. I'm very disappointed. It has good features, but it's useless if you can't properly invite or register to use them.

Is so complicated to use. If you want to invite an influencer, you would have to import an excel file, etc. No way to create links or other creatives and send them to affiliates.
