My Experience With CJdropshipping I want to share my experience with CJdropshipping because I believe companies need to hear what their customers are experiencing while it is actually happening—not months later after the customer has already moved on. My experience with CJ has been much more complicated than I expected when I started dropshipping. One of my biggest frustrations has been obtaining basic supplier and fulfillment information that I need to operate properly with the sales channels I am integrated with. There have been multiple situations where information or documentation I needed was either unavailable or could not be provided. I have also had difficulty getting answers to questions that require information directly from the supplier. CJ will sometimes tell me that they need to contact the supplier for the information, but then there can be difficulty getting a response from the supplier. As the customer, that leaves me waiting for information that I need to run my business. **Shipping and tracking have also been a major concern.** I have experienced shipping delays, and the tracking updates do not always feel truly real-time. At times, I have had to wait until the following day to see updates regarding what happened the previous day. When you are running an online business and customers are waiting for their orders, timely tracking information is extremely important. Another area that needs improvement is the **quality and completeness of product listings.** Some products have very limited descriptions, little to no useful product information, or very few photos. In some cases, the product details simply aren't detailed enough to confidently use the listing on my own storefront without doing significant additional work. The **product images can also be problematic.** Some images appear to have supplier or warehouse information edited out using basic image-editing tools, leaving visible artifacts around the product. For example, I have seen images where it is obvious that writing has been erased from the image, leaving behind a noticeable “erased” or edited appearance around the mannequin or hair. That makes the images look unprofessional and can require additional editing before they are suitable for a customer-facing store. There is also the issue of **supplier and warehouse names appearing on product images or information.** If I am trying to build my own brand and storefront, I cannot reasonably use an image that prominently displays another supplier or warehouse name. Customers seeing another company's name on the product image can create confusion about whose brand they are actually purchasing from. Overall, I feel like there is often too much work required on the seller's end to turn some of CJ's product listings into polished, customer-ready listings. I understand that no supplier will be perfect, and I am not expecting everything to be flawless. However, when a supplier is being used alongside platforms with their own shipping, fulfillment, documentation, and compliance requirements, the supplier needs to be able to support those requirements as much as reasonably possible. There are definitely things I like about CJ, which is why I am giving **3 stars rather than 1 star**. However, the combination of shipping issues, delayed tracking updates, difficulty obtaining supplier documentation, difficulty getting supplier responses, incomplete product information, and low-quality or supplier-branded product images has made the overall dropshipping experience more difficult than it needs to be. I am sharing this feedback now because I believe CJ should know what its customers are experiencing **in real time**. I am still evaluating my options and would genuinely like to see improvements because CJ has products and services that could be useful for my business. If these areas improve, I would absolutely be open to updating my review in the future. But based on my experience **right now**, 3 stars feels fair.

I had a very pathetic experience using CJ Dropshipping as my fulfilment partner. My customer orders has been stuck in transit for over a month with no delivery, despite the tracking showing that it arrived at the destination airport weeks ago. Throughout this period, my customer repeatedly contacted me asking for updates What frustrated me the most was not just the shipping delay—it was the lack of ownership from CJ. Every follow-up resulted in generic responses such as "we've urged the logistics team" or "please wait patiently." There was no concrete investigation, no estimated resolution, and no proactive communication. As the store owner, I had to: Apologise to my customer multiple times. Spend hours following up with CJ support. Eventually issue a full refund out of my own pocket because the customer lost confidence in receiving the order. International shipping can sometimes be delayed—I understand that. But suppliers are judged by how they handle those delays. In this case, there was very little accountability, poor communication, and no practical solution offered. For businesses that value customer satisfaction and reliable fulfilment, this experience has been extremely costly, both financially and in terms of brand reputation. I would not recommend CJ as a dropshipping partner.

They didn’t even have the courtesy to inform me of a supplier delay in advance and after chasing them for several days, they confirmed my shipment wasn’t despatched after a week. Don’t waste your time with these guys, I have them two stars for the other orders they’ve delivered within 10 working days. They are also the most expensive compared to other agents.

When I first started using CJdropshipping, my experience was positive. Angel, my account manager, was always quick to respond, informative, and helpful. The products I received were of good quality and orders were delivered on time. Unfortunately, my experience has changed dramatically in recent months. I have encountered repeated inventory issues where products shown as available could not actually be fulfilled, resulting in cancelled orders and refunds for my customers. This happened despite using CJ's inventory management features, which I expected would prevent these kinds of problems. As a store owner, reliability is essential. When customers place an order, I need confidence that it can be fulfilled. Sadly, that confidence is gone. My recent experience with CJdropshipping has been extremely disappointing, and I can no longer recommend the platform to merchants who are looking for a dependable long-term fulfillment partner.

L'intégration est bien faite, les synchronisations sont bonnes et pousser les produits de CJ vers Shopify se fait facilement. En revanche, concernant le traitement des commandes, ce n'est pas du tout ça. Chaque tarif comprend un délai d'expédition (on peut choisir plus ou moins rapide, ce qui est pratique), mais ces délais ne comprennent pas le délai de traitement, qui peut être extrêmement long selon les produits. Cela peut facilement aller jusqu'à 5, voire 10 jours selon les cas. Sans parler du fait que je dois régulièrement rembourser mes clients : l'application m'autorise à passer commande, mais quelques jours plus tard, je reçois une notification du service client m'indiquant que le produit n'est plus disponible. On me demande à chaque fois si je veux le remplacer par un produit similaire, ce que je trouve très peu professionnel. Mes clients commandent un article précis, il est évident que je vais refuser, même si l'alternative est similaire. Surtout que vous êtes censés savoir avec quels fournisseurs vous travaillez, ce n'est pas une marketplace pour particuliers comme AliExpress. Si ce n'est pas possible d'expédier un produit, merci de le marquer comme "out of stock". Cela m'évitera de perdre du temps, de l'argent, et surtout de décevoir mes clients.

As a new Shopify user, we want to share an honest and genuine review based on our recent experience with CJDropshipping. Shortly after launching our store, we followed recommendations from YouTube videos and installed CJDropshipping as one of our first apps. Finalised onboarding, imported products, completed payment details. Then a customer placed an order, but two weeks have passed, and the order still hasn’t progressed. The customer service has been extremely terrible, we couldn’t even tell if we were chatting with a bot or a real person (Kevin sometimes). Whether you’re new to Shopify or an experienced user, please be aware that customer focus here is nearly nonexistent. So far, we’ve spent nearly four hours on chat support with no resolution. Imagine trying to retain a customer who has already waited two weeks with no movement on their order. Extremely disappointed with poor quality of services of CJ Dropshipping.

this is a unbiased review. I like CJ as a platform, but using it was honestly one of the most stressful experiences ever once we started getting multiple orders coming in. I don’t even know where to start. First, I preordered our branded packaging. I only ordered 10 pieces at the beginning just to test CJ for the first couple of weeks. We waited approximately two weeks just for a simple carton glasses box to be shipped into their warehouse and added to my inventory. Before it arrived, I kept asking for updates, but nobody really knew the estimated completion time, and some agents even seemed annoyed when I followed up. Then came the first week where we started running ads and getting sales. That’s when the real test started. We had packages that were ordered after a month and 10 days still getting delayed. CJ claimed the customers didn’t respond, but instead of contacting me first, they shipped the packages back to another logistics warehouse, which took over a week. After that, I had to manually contact them again just to check what was happening, which slowed the whole process even more. One of the worst situations was when a customer placed a bulk order that was costly. Because of the delays, I had to keep replying to him multiple times with updates, and it honestly became embarrassing. In the end, the order was refunded because I did not want to keep making the customer wait and make the brand look even worse. I lost a lot of money because of that situation. To be fair, CJ did refund me from the dispute, which I appreciate, but the damage was already done because it made our brand look unprofessional in front of the customer. The delays with CJ are absolutely insane. We also had many cases where packages were delivered with wrong items or missing items. The warehouse packing process felt careless. It really seemed like the packer did not take the time to check what should be inside the package or how it should be packed, even though notes were sent by the agents. Overall, it was an absolute disaster for branded fulfillment. I personally would never work with CJ again for branded dropshipping. Only use CJ if you are not doing branded dropshipping or if your fulfillment process is very simple.

The software they use is riddled with bugs and extremely difficult to use. They're frequently out of stock, and you only discover this after you place an order. Working with my agent, Mandy Lu, has been a nightmare. I constantly had to chase her for updates, and her replies were always vague or incomplete. Unfortunately, Mandy Lu is neither professional nor responsible. I would not recommend anyone work with her.

CJ Dropshipping Held My Orders for 18 Days Has anyone else had a terrible experience with CJ Dropshipping? Because honestly, I don’t understand how this company is still operating like this. They have held my products for 18 days without properly shipping them, without clear answers, and without taking any real responsibility. Every time you try to get help, they either don’t reply properly, delay the answer, or give some vague excuse that doesn’t solve anything. Meanwhile, customers are waiting, businesses are losing money, and sellers are the ones getting blamed. Their service is honestly terrible. No urgency. No accountability. No proper communication. Just delays after delays. And when I look at their Trustpilot, I genuinely question how many of those positive reviews are even real, because the service I have experienced is nothing like what those reviews claim. If so many sellers are having issues, why does their public review profile look so polished? At this point, I would not recommend CJ Dropshipping to anyone. They can hold your orders for days or weeks, ignore the damage it causes, and leave you to deal with angry customers alone. People should seriously consider using DSers or finding suppliers directly instead of relying on CJ Dropshipping. Has anyone else had the same issue with them?

Ils commettent régulièrement des erreurs, mais refusent presque toujours d’en assumer la responsabilité. Au final, c’est le client qui subit les conséquences. Récemment, l’un de mes clients a commandé deux pantalons en taille L. Il a reçu un pantalon en taille L et un autre en taille S. Malgré l’envoi de photos montrant clairement la différence de taille, ils ont refusé de renvoyer l’article conforme. C’est la même chose lorsqu’un remboursement est dû : il faut les relancer pendant des jours, parfois même des semaines. À chaque fois, ils trouvent une excuse, notamment que « le système ne fonctionne pas », ce qui donne l’impression qu’ils cherchent simplement à décourager les clients de poursuivre leurs démarches. Très mauvaise expérience. Je déconseille fortement.

J'ai contacté le service client de CJdropshipping, et on m'a répondu que le colis était en transit. Je leur ai fait remarquer qu'il aurait déjà dû être livré et j'ai exigé des explications. À ma grande surprise, j'ai appris que CJ avait réceptionné le mauvais produit. Il a fallu du temps pour recevoir le bon produit, ce qui a entraîné un retard, et on m'a informé que le colis serait livré dans environ une semaine, si tout va bien. À aucun moment, malgré la connaissance de l'incident, CJ ne m'a informé par email, ce qui m'a empêché de prévenir mon client et de limiter les conséquences. J'ai alors exigé un geste commercial, notamment un remboursement des frais de livraison, car je devais aussi faire un geste envers mon client. Le service client de CJ m'a répondu qu'il serait préférable de stocker les produits chez eux pour éviter ce genre de problème. Mais j'ai plus de 700 produits dans ma boutique, et mes commandes sont aléatoires. J'ai insisté pour avoir une compensation, et après 48 heures, on m'a proposé une réduction de 3 $ sur ma prochaine commande, à condition de dépenser au moins 10 $. J'ai cru à une blague. J'ai insisté encore pour un dédommagement digne de ce nom, et ils ont finalement proposé une réduction de 5 $ sur une commande de 20 $ ou plus. J'ai refusé cette offre, c'est totalement inacceptable. À cause de CJ, je vais probablement perdre mon client, et c'est déjà le deuxième incident en deux semaines. Je ne comprends pas tous ces avis positifs, j'ai l'impression qu'ils sont fictifs, car la réalité est bien loin de ce qui est promis. Here's the incident: I received an email from my customer informing me that their package still hadn't arrived, after two weeks. I paid for expedited shipping, which was supposed to arrive in 12 days in March (3 days for processing and 7 days for shipping to France). I contacted CJdropshipping's customer service, and they replied that the package was still in transit. I pointed out that it should have already been delivered and demanded an explanation. To my shock, I learned that CJ had received the wrong product. It took time for them to get the correct product, causing the delay, and I was told the package should arrive in about another week, if everything goes well. At no point, despite being aware of the issue, did CJ inform me by email, preventing me from notifying my customer and mitigating the situation. I then demanded a commercial gesture, specifically a refund for the shipping fees, as I also had to make a gesture to my customer. CJ's customer service replied that it would be better to stock the products at their warehouse to avoid such issues. However, I have more than 700 products in my shop, and my orders are random. I insisted on proper compensation, and after 48 hours, they offered me a $3 discount on my next order, provided I spent at least $10. I thought it was a joke. I insisted again for a proper compensation, and they finally offered a $5 discount on a $20 or more order. I refused this offer; it’s completely unacceptable. Because of CJ, I’m likely to lose my customer, and this is the second incident in two weeks. I don’t understand all these positive reviews; they seem fake because the reality is far from what’s promised. MONDAY, 4TH MAY 2026 I ordered a set of cutlery (forks, knives, spoons), and the quality is simply unacceptable: The stainless steel is of very poor quality The spoons are dangerous: the edges are sharp, rough, and not polished at all The forks are just as problematic: the tines are so sharp that you can almost cut your finger when handling them No finishing work, no polishing… these products are unusable for eating This is clearly far from a product intended for food use. On top of that, there is a questionable practice: after placing the order, I was asked to pay an additional fee for a so-called “weight adjustment.” This really feels like a recurring tactic to charge more money. Finally, I opened a dispute on April 25th. Today is May 4th, and I have received no response. Customer service is completely absent. In summary: poor quality, questionable business practices, and non-existent customer support. Personally, I believe CJ has become one of the worst players in e-commerce. In addition, when checking reviews on Trustpilot, it appears that CJ is under investigation for a large number of fake reviews...
