Apippa's Custom Price Calculator has been great for handling complex, made-to-order pricing on my wallpaper store being able to build calculators around dimensions, options, and colour choices without needing a developer has saved me so much time. What really stood out was the support. When I ran into a pricing issue, Shai jumped in quickly, explained exactly what was going on in plain terms, and helped me work through building out a proper fix rather than just a band-aid. That level of hands-on help is rare for an app at this price point. Customer service was excellent. Had an issue with the price not showing on our live site and customer service was quick to look into the problem. We were unable to resolve the issue before the free trial ran out and they were nice enough to extend until the issue was fixed at no charge. One thing I will note is at first I was suspicious of their customer service email address because it wasn't @Apippa.com or something of the sort, but I assure you we had no issues. Would recommend!

Experience is really great. Nitin was amazing with sorting out very technical errors helping with coding and many other things. Because of him, he really made this overall experience 5*. The app its self it really great and would rate it as 4.5 as, the thing letting it down is the level of customisation in appearance and also, the conditional feature only being allowed once per element unfortunately. If they could add at least 2 use's of conditions per element and the ability to change fonts, all box corners etc.. It would be perfect. Nonetheless, fantatsic app and does exactly what i need.

Customizable, Reliable, Responsive I’ve been using Apippa’s Custom Calculator on my Shopify store for several weeks now, and overall I’m extremely impressed with both the app’s flexibility and the support I received from Kristina. From a functionality standpoint, the fact that Apippa lets me inject my own CSS and JavaScript was a game-changer. I needed to enforce a custom price cap based on cubic yards (along with a backup date selection for weather-dependent bookings), and the built-in fields alone weren’t enough to handle all of my logic. By adding a few lines of JavaScript and some targeted CSS tweaks. The level of control it facilitates made customization a breeze—no hacks or workarounds required. Even more importantly, when I ran into a particularly tricky edge case, making sure that the final calculated price handles the edge cases —Kristina was incredibly helpful. I sent over my problem I was facing, and within a few hours she not only diagnosed the issue but also suggested tweaks to my selector logic so the app would pick up changes in real time. Many important features are not supported. For example, here's a list of features we have discovered are not working correctly/as expected. - one-time fees (like expedited fee). If you want to add a one-time fee to a product with a quantity of 3, it'll add 3x that one-time fee without a reasonable workaround. - It doesn't work on a product that is featured directly on the home page. The product must be reached through the catalog/product page for the feature to work (otherwise when adding to cart the value is 0). - doesn't have a support for customizing emails so the user gets email based on their selections. - doesn't have a way to calculate item weight based on selections. - if you have any numbers or special characters in the name of a drop-down, it will break the price calculation formula. the feature works well if you have a very basic use case but if you have a complex product and features, it is still quite lacking.

This app has made it possible for us to sell fabric by the square inch even though it is priced by the yard. It is easy to edit and duplicate the calculators, and also to add the calculator to products without having to add code or edit html. The app has a good base and would be a good too for many businesses. But the fact that it cannot work with Base Shopify Variants takes away the value of this app for our situation. We sell items that have Standard and Custom sizes, but this app cannot do custom pricing at the variant level so it's a no for us. Customer Service was great though, so still dropping a 5 star review. Extend the functionality to allow assignment at the Variant/SKU level and you would have a fabulous product that would certainly have a much larger appeal and market.

This app worked for a while but not for the last 8 months. Finally they gave up trying to patch the program, now they say they cannot fix it. Lots of lost sales and no answers. They are responsible to make this app work with Shopify and change with Shopify apparently. I am disappointed in the problems I have had to deal with.

Amazing service by Kristina, who helped us customize the app. That being said, it is mostly ready to use out of the box, so don't worry. Among all similar apps, this one has been the easiest to understand. The logic of this type of app can be very tricky to grasp. What makes the app stand out is that it comes with examples that you can just use and duplicate. Also, the UI using drag and drop is super user-friendly, and the preview button lets you try on the go. Whether you want to keep it basic or get more advanced, it's easy and fast to implement once you know what you want to achieve. Slowly, we're adding more options such as photo uploads, which are also integrated into the app, a great perk, honestly. Highly recommend; trust us, we've done the job of comparing all available options on the app store ;)

Let me first say that customer service is TOP NOTCH. They are highly responsive and extremely helpful. I turned to this app, after having a dissatisfying experience with a similar, more expensive app, that blocked my product listings from utilizing other installed apps that were essential to my sales. In theory this app is really nice and exactly what we need to sell our more complex products. BUT .. there are limitations and massive problems with our checkout caused by the app. What did we do? We want to sell wooden products made to measure via our new shop and after some research we found this app and on paper the match is perfect. After implementing it we came across some issues and I want to explain two of them in more detail: 1. Pictures - the app doesn't allow or better only allows to assign one specific picture per variant which is showing up after clicking. Our problem - we need several pictures to explain more about the complex products. But since we can only assign one per variant AND the regular shopify product pictures from the product itself are not compatible with the app, we are really limited. We literally exchanged like dozens of emails over a course of months related to this topic. After a video meeting they offered to customize it for us but in the end that was not possible. My biggest complain here - why not be honest straight ahead and don't communicate like it's no big deal. We literally wasted a lot of ressources on this matter by communicating, creating pictures and so on. 2. Checkout - SUPER ANNOYING After finishing everything up and checking the whole shop in detail we came across some weird behavior in the checkout of our shop. In some browsers and with a certain behavior there are different problems. For example products are priced for free or with 0 - in short not ready to go live at all... After some digging we could say for sure that it was due to the app causing some conflict with our theme (which was created by a shopify expert from the shopify expert area). The support of the app was fast in response as always BUT this is going on for a few weeks now. The support of the app confirmed that it was the app and told us SEVERAL times now they fixed the problem. We then check it and see the same problems over and over again - and now we are starting to wonder: what are you fixing and are you actually checking what you are doing? In summary - we still couldn't start our shop which we invested heavily in. I don't like to write bad reviews but my hope here is that this matter will be resolved shortly and to inform others about potential problems, please be careful.

So far, this app is AMAZING! Once I figured out how to set this up for my quilting business that charges by the square inch a 1/2 cent increments, I was about to take my highly customized pricing to the internet and my customers from everywhere can order and pay so easily now. 4 stars for it because it isn't compatible with POS and I still don't know how it's going to work with line item syncing into quick books. The app did not display the calculator as desired. I admit that I was using it for general calculations display, and it is possible that my problems were user error. When I just about had it customized to display as desired, it no longer displayed the calculators at all. Deleting and making new calculators did not fix it. Deleting and creating new products did not fix it. Uninstalling and reinstalling did not change anything. The user interface is more than adequate. It is not polished. It was fairly easy to create calculators once I understood the mechanics. It is more customizable than the other options, which is why I tried it. I can't rate it higher because it did not do the thing I installed it to do. Ultimately I sought a custom solution.

Seems to work well for getting a price. Although it hangs when creating a product at the point where the customer, clicks "Add to Cart", it can hang for minutes. I've contacted support, no reply. It has something to do with inserting product variants in the back end. Update: I had logged a support ticket with the developer and had no response until I left this review. The team then got back to me and helped fix the problem. It now runs much faster. The developer explained that there was an issue with Shopify's system, whereby after a new product variant is inserted the price may not reflect in Shopify's database for up to 20seconds. However, for me this lag was lasting up to minutes. To fix this it was explained to me that the developers have to get access to your theme and change it to source the price directly from the App. - It would be nice if the developers could build in information to allow us store builders to do this ourselves. If it can't be done automatically. It would be nice to see Shopify add support for creating variants on the fly. In the meantime, if adding a product to the cart hangs it seems you'll need to lodge a ticket with the App team to make a change.

Wir verwenden die APP zur Konfiguration von relativ komplexen Beschattungssystemen. Die APP kann Flächen berechnen, Komponenten addieren bzw. subtrahieren und Ergebnisse sowie Teilergebnisse mit Festwerten multiplizieren (dividieren). Sehr interessant ist auch die Möglichkeit Tabellen zu hinterlegen. Die APP ist leicht verständlich und damit schnell einsetzbar. Bei Verständnisschwierigkeiten hilft der Support sehr schnell und unkompliziert. Verbesserungspotential hat die APP sicherlich bei den Templates. Mit geringen CSS-Kenntnissen lassen sich zwar einige Dinge darstellen, schön wären aber weitere Vorlagen um z.B. kleinere Eingabefenster nebeneinander abbilden zu können. Auch ist der Wechsel der Thumbnail Bilder in der Bildergalerie noch etwas „holprig“. Dank des guten Preis-Leistungsverhältnisses gebe ich 5 von 5 Sternen.

AMAZING app that adds excellent functionality! Enables pricing by measure of unit or custom selection, as well as text entry and conditional logic. Easy to learn, with straightforward tutorials and several pre-made templates for typical applications that can be customized to your situation. This app actually saved me money by eliminating my need for Hulk Product Options, while adding custom price calculations... so it basically paid for itself. And then, there's the Support!! I used this app to work around the 100 variant limit - selling my products by linear foot. It's quite a powerful app - being able to write custom formulas for the variables you would like to include in your calculator makes almost anything possible! Sahil especially was very helpful when I wasn't sure how to set up additional "handling fees" for certain variables. Unfortunately this work-around does not translate to the back end (for sales reps creating orders in admin), but for customer experience on front end it is awesome!

Great app, we sell window blinds and just what we’ve been looking for to calculate per square meter. The only missing feature is when you do manual order in behalf of customer you don’t have the option from this calculator, maybe something the team can improve in the future but other than that well recommended and great support too.

Fantastic App and even better customer support! We needed an easy to use calculator for our website and after looking at what felt like hundreds we landed on this one. We required an app with this functionality and one we could also customise to suit or needs. We sell fabric, made to measure blinds and wallpaper so this was a godsend as we needed to be able to calculate a number of variables and prices. We are using this app because there is no other app currently on Shopify that allows for a "data lookup", which allows pricing of a product to use a spreadsheet and two data points to calculate a price. If you have a large data set in a spreadsheet (like Excel) for a product, you need to try this app. We have a product that has 700 prices based on width and height measurements. No other app out there can perform this function!
