Onboarding is terrible. I had a meeting scheduled for yesterday and it was canceled due to the onboarder's "schedule change" . Then today I had my call, it was very rushed. All he wanted to was get off the phone. He only connected google merchant center and that was it. In the shopify dashboard it states "96% percent of users get better results and higher ROI after an onboarding call Book a FREE onboarding call During the onboarding we will Set up your product feed and improve your ROI Discuss how to improve the conversion rates for your campaigns Optimize your product feed to improve the quality of the listings Show you the best use cases from companies like yours" This did not happen on my call. I contacted support and they just gave me the run around and wanted me to pay $99 for setup. What a joke . I do not feel like a valued customer so far! Not sure if I will keep this app.

I contacted their customer support multiple times, but I never received any response. I couldn’t find any clear option to cancel the subscription within the app itself. After searching for quite a while, I finally managed to delete it through Shopify’s plugin section. I was charged a total of $239 USD and $80 USD without my consent. I am requesting a refund for these charges. I hope the team can resolve this issue promptly and improve the user experience.

I recently signed up with Data Feed App. I have been having really hard time with Google Listings. Not knowing with Data Feed can do after signing up, I requested a 'demo'. Luckily I got Pawel. He not only listed to all my questions carefully, but eliminated all the issues one by one - methodically. I don't understand these things, but Pawel made it simple to work with him and guided me as well besides removing all the issues. He also gave me some home work to do. The support is particularly amazing (shoutout to John today). I can message with an issue and sometimes they just fix it for me, instead of sending me the steps. It's greatly appreciated. The only issue I have is the chat system can sometimes be difficult to get through to an actual person. I get stuck in trying to get a bot to get me over to a person but it just sends me options and links. Other than that, everything is top tier.

I signed up after doing a lot of research on changing to a different feed company and have been chatting with someone who was really helpful on specific's. It's a big deal to move feeds and you want to get it right. Today was the day for the change. No help at all. I emailed no response after requesting to set-up my first feed. so went on chat which was like dragging blood out of a stone no help. I set-up myself but have a bunch of errors on gender and age group that need to be resolved. No help at all from anyone and the feed did not go into the Merchant Center. I reverted back to my old feed company so that I have something set-up for the weekend. All on International Women's day?

We feel disappointed and forgotten. It is very frustrating to see that we can not download products since October 27. We have been using DataFeedWatch for over a year and are currently feeding 8 different channels through their app. It's an incredibly user-friendly app, which allow you to customize and automate your feed in a lot of powerful ways. Through manipulating our data so it's optimized for each channel, our CTR and ROAS have increased on all our marketing channels. Another good thing about DataFeedWatch is their reasonable pricing, their excellent and swift customer support on chat/email and the large help center allowing you to learn most things on your own. Updating my review from 5 stars as the customer support is as good as non existent. I sent support a request to enable variations in my listings as advised in their blog but several days have passed and zero response. 79 Euros is not a small amount and I'd expect a response within max 2 days. There are apps out there that charge far less but the support on them exists. A shout out to Marvin for being helpful and all but the support team not responding and being non existent makes this company not pleasant to work with. There is no way I would pay 79 Euros for non existent support, no way at all. The feed itself is quite nice and powerful but what good is all that if support is non existent. Imagine having an issue and you get no support. I would NOT recommend this app or company at all. Update: Updating in response to DataFeedWatch response. Way to vilify your customers by claiming that I didn't accept your apology. I only declined compensation as I felt I am not entitled to it as I didn't pay anything in first place and decided that I want to move back to a different service with another supplier. I never refused your apology and even explained that this review is left as is for May 2023 so that hopefully if you improve then your future customers will see new comments as a reflection of your improvements made. So please don't make it look like your customers are evil.

This is a powerful tool but has become very expensive if you have lots of products. We have used the product for a number of years and it does a great job in helping you craft a product list for each channel. Unfortunately in the last years the software changed its pricing strategy and charges by product which has increase the cost to a point beyond its value to our business. I used this app to manage the data feed for Google Shopping ads and it really helps a lot. Generally speaking, it works good, but it is not easy to use for beginners since it uses some different terms than usual (like mapping rather edit or change); however, their representatives (Claire, Edgars) help a lot with this. Recently we had some issues with the sale_price setup. After chatting with their customer service representative (Tetiana), I fixed the issue immediately. The inconvenience is the time difference: sometimes they are offline while I'm working. Hope they can provide 24-hour customer service.

I've received a ridiculously positive customer service experience from Magdalena and if you read this, I hope you sleep well at night knowing how well you're looking after your customers :) In my experience, the customer support team know their system inside out and are able to perform tasks within a few clicks that one might expect only the core app developers/coders could pull off. No "I'll get back to you", no, "I'll check on that for you" etc. Instead, a deep and intricate knowledge of the workings of their product and a level of service which all other app developers can only dream to achieve. Shockingly efficent and knowledgeable staff. I cannot recommend these guys highly enough. I'm actually stunned at the skills these guys have and the tools the customer support team have at their disposal to resolve in an instant, any issue or concern that a user may have. I've attempted to get a response for nearly 2 weeks now and my Google Shopping products are at risk of expiring because they don't seem to even look at my emails to them. I've contacted them through their support email address numerous times, through Shopify support numerous times (who forwards requests to them), and still NOTHING. Beware - If there are any problems that come up out of nowhere such as I'm dealing with, they are of no help and you risk losing your Google shopping feed because of it.

Was really excited for this app, and ok with paying $60 a month for a good product feed. Unfortunately after months I still wasn't seeing results. I had a problem with my feed link that nobody on their side caught. Their data feed also duplicated my products, and nobody from the tech could figure it out, and claimed it wasn't causing problems. A/B testing works only if you have a large number of similar products in your store because they don't change the splits for the test. They just split all the products once resulting in a one-sided a/b test. The customer support does need improvement. E.g. I have tried to resolve a simple mapping issue. The first time, I had to explain the problem 2 times and had to wait 60minutes. Apparently, she just left the chat... I am still waiting. Thanks Monika ... After that, I have opened another chat with Sebastian. He basically ignore my question and gave me a link to a standard implementation and had basically no suggestions for me. It is a mapping and logic issue. This is basically your service. Magdalena is stellar helpful though and Martin has been reaching out to me regarding a well instructed on-boarding session. EDIT: Datafeedwatch has reached out to me regarding my bad customer support experience. They were very helpful and eager to improve. Staff can have a bad day as well. 3/5 Stars! I would give more stars if the a/b testing would work.

Our go to app for feeds - great support and excellent tool - been using for many years on magento and our migration to shopify brings the same great features and support. Really easy to use and really easy to get what you want done. Support is just perfect, helps to fix the things you know you need but may not be sure how to do. Want some complex regex weirdness to fix something - no problem, need a dumb rule to catch some odd products, you got it, how about we rewrite your product descriptions based on some atttribute rule for some spcific products that only fall in to a specific group sometimes - hold my beer.

You will be anxious and frustrated, and you will find out that there have been no special changes except for this app, and soon you will find the agent in the chat on the right corner. If you ask them for support, they will continue the conversation by telling you to wait because they are checking. That's how you spend your day and find another agent or community the next day. 24 hours after the support request, one of the agents will ask you for Google Merchant Center Access, and that's where the app's support begins. Are you curious about my case? I haven't received any reply yet after the agent took the access and I'm still waiting.

OK - so anyone new to Shopify will discover that passing the correct data to Google Merchant, facebook etc, is quite tricky! What's more, to do good listing on these external sales channels means you'll probably have to extend your data fields beyond the ones offered out of the box from Shopify using custom fields. You then have to figure out how to map, combine, reuse and re-express this data for different sales channel feeds. Be sure, there is no simple plug-n-play API out there to make all this work seamlessly across each channel. So here's what I love about DatafeedWatch: - Standard and custom data fields are pulled in seamlessly from Shopify. - Field mapping is very simple and intuitive. - Fields can be manipulated (combined, filtered, edited) with simple and complex multi-level logic functions. - Creating multiple dedicated feeds for different sales channels is made easier and faster with the possibility to copy repetitive rules from different feeds. - The software runs a check on your feed and provides a quality rating plus suggestions specific to different channel requirements. - Best of all - the platforms you're feeding into seem to "like" the feed. We've had very low error rates so far. Then there's the great support both in terms of initial set-up and follow up issues. I have had three support sessions helping with some data formatting - all solved within 5 mins over chat. What I will add is that DFW is primarily an XML-output feed software ideal for pushing marketing (product) data out to social platforms etc. We use DFW mainly for Google Merchant and Facebook. If you're looking for managing bi-directional data (e.g. for handling sales orders on Amazon - there are different specific full feature APIs/platforms for that). Thanks again DFW! Super easy to use after you learn the basics. You do have to dedicate about 15-30 minutes to learning this, then more time in the future for advanced features. But learning is, of course, required in business so don't be disappointed that there is some learning. Just watch some tutorials and get to work. It's absolutely worth the cost given all the features available. The ability to create Google, Bing, Facebook and more, is all included so you're getting a huge amount of functionality from one tool. Continued oversells on Amazon due to DataFeedWatch app not updating Amazon with correct inventory. Beware of their 'Amazon to Shopify order integration' - its intermittent and does not even pull basic information such as the 'shipping address' to Shopify! According to DataFeedWatch they can not pull the 'shipping address' to Shopify for orders as Amazon changed their policies - however many other integrations (such as SellBrite, Brightpearl, etc) pull the 'shipping address' absolutely fine. Other apps such as SellBrite have a good 'Amazon to Shopify order integration' and we are testing their inventory integration now. Support at DataFeedWatch is usually responsive but issues remain unresolved with no assurances that it is their priority to fix... The inventory issue has not been addressed directly in any support ticket despite lots of requests.

It's refreshing that DataFeedWatch has not asked me for a review, now 3 weeks after installation, but I've actually searched out the place to write one because this has been an outstanding app find. Too often in life whether buying an app or a service or a product we get hounded to write reviews, "Did I give you very excellent service today?" etc... No such request came! But I'm pleased to report that after years of struggling with inadequate control over our Google Merchant Center and Bing shopping feeds we now have ways to fine-tune every aspect of our feeds. Some features are not for the faint of heart -- for example since we were migrating from another app, we knew our sales performance might get hurt if Google were to treat our new feed as newly added products and lose their years of sales history, so we had to make sure this new app rewrites our product and variant IDs into the multi-part formats of the prior app -- the tools were there to automate that process, not something we'd have wanted to do manually with thousands of IDs to map! Likewise several other refinements were needed to address Google fields that are specific to our data sets, and after some trial and error the features can usually be found to do whatever we need. You can create endless rules to include/exclude products or groups; upload your feed anytime on-demand or via schedule, etc. This isn't an app for beginners though, or anyone who wants their ecommerce business to be a black box that runs itself. This is a hands-on tool for control freaks who don't mind putting in the time to micromanage the details, and want the tools and features to enable that. I'm just getting started.

I was given a recommendation on this app as my store sells internationally - as we needed an app to be able to create a feed for multiple markets for Google Shopping. I use DFW for three of my Shopify clients... I had to do a bit of reading to figure out how to use it. Considering that I've never used this or any feed management software before, and I figured everything out within a couple of hours, I'm pretty impressed. I've contacted their live chat support a few times and they've been super helpful - screenshots and videos make it easy to follow. I've used this to take our FB dynamic ads to the next level - super impressed with them. The only negative is that you have to get the higher agency plan if you want multiple daily uploads (otherwise it's just once every 24 hours). I think they should include it for the second tier plan too as I can't imagine any serious ecommerce advertise is going to be satisfied with feed updates once every 24 hours. Other than that, they're awesome.

Horrible Tech Team. Have been trying for 1 week now to get the fix for the ID field but they are either on vacation or really lazy to do it. So if you are planning to use the app, make sure you are prepared for 1 week time for a fix, if anything break because they take their sweet time to get to resolving issues.

DFW is a powerful tool you can use to manipulate and customize your product feeds. They provide great support, especially for the price. We've been using DataFeedWatch for over a year. We have three Shopify stores connected, each with several different product feeds for different platforms. It provides the extra configuration options we need that other feed builder apps were lacking. Some of the features we find really useful are being able to append static values to product urls, using Google Sheets for custom lookup tables (for when we want to supply different product information than what we use in our Shopify store), and dynamically setting values based on product sku/name/etc. Whenever I've had a question, their tech support is very responsive (I usually use live chat, which is very convenient). Overall we would recommend DataFeedWatch to anyone looking for a robust product feed generator.

I expected more by DataFeedWatch because although they provide the Skroutz channel, they failed to customize the feed so to meet Skroutz's requirements. I also was charged (probably by Shopify) a month of subscription while I unistalled the app on time during the trial period. The DataFeedWatch's support helped me and I got my refund. The whole experience though of trying to get back my money, was really long and difficult. This was because initially DataFeedWatch didn't agree with the actual uninstallation date. They told me that the uninstall took place on later time, after trial expiration, which was not the case, as the Shopify team proved. Secondly, although the refund was released, I had no feedback on this, either by Shopify or DataFeedWatch.
