This app does the trick. Tried everything I could think of, but couldn't get anything from my site. I feel better knowing someone can't easily take our content. ** Update... it used to do what it says, but it has stopped working. I'm not sure when that changed, but I just noticed. I don't know how to contact them to fix it, but I'm still on the paid plan so I may just get rid of it.

This is the worst app. Do not download. They stick a shitty ad on your page and its nearly impossible to get rid of it unless to force yourself to buy it. As an artist, or so I call myself to justify my time consuming hobby, one of the worst things that could happen is having your work stolen. Getting your stuff stolen isn't nice - whether it's your art that you spent several hours making, or maybe it's your blue bicycle with blacked out wheels and carbon fiber accents that you had in 3rd grade (looking at you, Frank. I still want my bike back) - getting your stuff taken from you sucks. But alas, here comes Disable Right-Click to save the day! With this tool, I can prevent people from downloading my stuff on my website and therefore protect my art from thieves! It works great and also protects text from being copied, too. This app caused my store to be unreachable for over 12 hours. The app apparently does a database lookup to their server upon loading your shopify store, if their server is down or unreachable it prevents your store from working. I tried to contact the app provider twice and still no response. UPDATE - I was contacted by the developer who advised that they have implemented a permanent fix to prevent the problem recurring, and to improve the way the App loads so it doesn't interfere with my store.

This is my first negative review. The app worked for a few weeks and then one fine day it caused my website to stop loading. And I didn't notice until 3 days later. How do I know that it was this app? Because at the bottom-left corner of the browser it said "waiting for disable-right-click" and we kept waiting but it just never did load. Blank screen. Upon uninstalling this app, the website loaded again. This was a CATASTROPHIC event especially since I am not a techie, and I do not understand what goes on at the backend and just TRUST that the software guys at the app will do it all correctly. But when THEY fail you, it is your business on the line and that is not a risk I can afford to take.

I don't ever write app reviews, but I felt the need to express my extreme disappoint in this app. We have lost hundreds of dollars in advertising today because of this app. It is uninstalled on our store as we were experiencing issues and now even after being uninstalled, we are being notified that it is not letting our store load properly. Unprofessional, make sure your apps work and don't ruin a stores loading time even after they use it. Unacceptable.

Unfortunately, today I seem to be having the same issue as some other people. Store is failing to load, even after uninstalling. Have sent a support email and am waiting for a reply. -- UPDATE: For anyone having an issue with this - I have figured out a fix. Go into the snippet file and delete the code, then go into the theme liquid file and delete the code there. You should be good to go. Worked for me.

I noticed something while doing research for a number of products that I wanted to add to my store - almost all of the websites that sold these items had the same specs, descriptions, and (in a lot of cases) the same images, and videos. Some websites even had creative gif images that were clearly watermarked from another site, but they used it anyway. I've worked really hard on my site and can't imagine putting so much effort into product images and gifs just for someone else to copy and paste it to their WordPress site. Finding this app was a godsend and I will happily pay the few dollars a month for the peace of mind. Copy someone else's stuff, my product info can't be stolen :)

The disable right click works fine but a screen print can still be taken and get images the same size as you originally posted them. This is not good!

If you want to protect your content, then better you get this app! I love this app, it works for me and I would recommend it to everyone! When I installed it the Drag & Drop was still working and also I could save my pic on Firefox browser. I sent the customer support an email and it was fixed within 30 min. Customer support is working fast and fixed all issues in my store. If you are using this app just double check in different browsers (Google Chrom, Firefox etc..) if everything is working on all of them, and if something is not working, just shoot them an email and it will be fixed. I am very happy I got also the cell app.

Works great! Initially, the app affected the slideshow pics on my homepage (the slideshow was there, but the pics weren't showing up). Wasn't sure if it was the app that did that, or something with the theme I'm using, so I went through Shopify support. They contacted the developer, and it was fixed pretty quickly. I'm using the free version for right now, which leaves an advertisement to get the app in the lower right portion of the screen. Just want to make sure it functions correctly before getting the paid version. It seems to work well...right-clicking is disabled throughout my site, as well as drag & drop saving, which protects the images, and you can't highlight/copy/paste text from the blog posts either, which protects my articles.

After my previous app crashed and I didn't hear a response back for over a day, I figured it was time to move on. I'm happy to say, this app and its support exceed expectations. For a free trial and a low monthly fee, I wasn't counting on much, but install was simple and worked right from the start. I hit a snag a few hours later, reached out to support, and Eddie responded in lightning speed. (Turns out, the "snag" was an issue with my computer). This is the app you can count on and their customer support responds at blazing fast speeds.

I tried disable right click and had an issue, I emailed the developer and he emailed me back within the hour and they fixed the issue on their end, meaning I didn't have to do anything and he had the issue completely sorted for me and it won't happen to anyone else in the future. The "ad" they speak f is a small white box in the bottom right of the screen, there's not much more you can ask for only one dollar.
