I would not suggest this app. I had hundreds of fraudulent donations done mainly from India based on the traffic to my site. This in return caused me multiple chargebacks in which I had to pay $15 per chargeback. It appeared that they were testing out stolen credit card numbers to assure that they worked. Hands down worst experience I have had that actually lost money.

This is an update from my earlier review because I feel sorry for the developers of this app. The App caused big problems for my shop after the uninstall. Code was left behind. I understand that the code was manual code that the developers helped with. Had I known they would need to manually uninstall this, I wouldn't have had to go to the trouble of hiring an expert to help identify the problem. The app itself, while it was working was good. Just be careful when you uninstall the app. Contact the developers to make sure they have removed ALL the code.

It was a perfect fit for our Not-for-Profit organization. The support was outstanding, and we are very happy with the app so far. We needed an App to set up a custom donation product and send custom donation receipts to our amazing supporters. After trialling many other apps, we stumbled upon Donate Source, and the whole experience, from onboarding to setting up custom items, has been phenomenal. We've used this app for a couple of weeks now. We were previously collecting donations via Shopify's tipping functionality which had several key limitations. By using Donate Source we have been able to bring in more donation income than before. The set up was straightforward, and the customer support team were on hand to help us out. In fact, they helped us co-ordinate the deployment across our current theme and the next-in-line deployment. They've also been on hand to help with additional styling and format changes. They've been absolutely great and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this app to anyone.
