I am using the Easy Donation APP with five variants plus "other". When I add my donation to my checkout cart, the dollar amount is not correct. For example I donate $10, add it to my cart, and my cart says $10 was marked, but the checkout amount is $250. How do I correct this?

This has to be one of the worst apps I have ever used. I can never even get it to load. First chance of getting it to load I took the opportunity to uninstall it! I had high hopes based on what I need on my store. It wouldn't even install properly on my site. I would stay away. The only donation that was made was my initial $6.99 to this terrible app.

The premise of the app is great – easy way to add donations on to purchases including custom amounts! Unfortunately there are a few bugs with the app (images not working in the tax receipt email, and not sending tax receipt to the donor address) – but the support team has been great at finding a workaround to get this functioning for us while they figure out how to solve the problem!

We wanted a donation widget to show on our cart page, as it was a .liquid page we couldn't add as a block within the theme we use. Overall, EasyDonation is pretty solid app to use. Bounced around between a few before landing on this option and the main selling point was the customer service. Which is highly integral to using the app as preferred. Support team was able to help me with most of my integrations on the backend... with fairly quick response time.

I decided to try this app as the reviews felt honest and I needed something easy to set up to take a variety of donations on my non profit store. I did struggle initially in setting this up, and made several mistakes in the process (i'm not the most tech savvy), but as soon as I contacted the support team, they helped straight away, explained things fully and even did a lot of the configuration work for me. Really grateful to the support team for the fast response, the friendly help and support. Please bear in mind there is a big time difference from the UK (-5.30 hrs) if using the instant chat support

We are using this app to manage donations for our Foundation. It does exactly what is described and works perfectly for us with pre-defined amounts and custom amount fields. Used this app to give customers the option to donate to our chosen non-profit organization on the cart page and as a product listed on a separate page. So far we've been getting donations and it works great. The support team has been very helpful and quick to respond with our customization requests, they were able to remove the questions and reviews that defaulted to products in our theme, and customized the drop-down menu. The tracking feature isn't very granular, just shows the total amount donated by month, but it is easy to pull more information by filtering by the product in Shopify's reports.

We use the basic plan and it does everything we need it to do, but could see us using the advanced plan in future as our customers may want the option of donating to the individual sites that our organisation operates. Their customer service answers fast but on the other hand, I was facing a lot of issues with this app. I have paid my monthly subscription and the app has never worked properly. It made me more issues and bugs than something plus. When I told them to remove all code from my theme they left not even some lines of code but also a full snippet or template. It could be a great app but it seems to me they need better developers somewhere in their Dev office.

We are a non-profit and wanted the ability for customers to add on a donation to their purchase from our store. This was the only app we found that allowed us to do this. It wasn't very clear how to set up some of the options and we had to reach out to their support a few times to make changes for us. They were very responsive and helpful (just keep in mind they are in India so there is a time difference in getting a reply). It's cumbersome to always have to ask them to change things instead of being able to modify it ourselves. Other than that, the app works great and we've seen a good percentatage of customers make an additional donation. The app will also send a separate email receipt for the donation, perfect for tax purposes.

Amazing app!! Had to research everywhere and read many blogs, and fortunately ended up finding out that most sources recommend Easy Donation and I'm glad I installed it. Has plenty of options and configurations that fulfill my needs, and where there was something too specific (I was sure that can be done) I reached out to their support and they quickly edited my theme's code to perfectly reflect my request as I needed. Great customer service from the support team, very reactive. Design needs to be fine-tuned. When we click on donation button it would be great that the page doesn't need to be reloaded because customers think it is a bug and that the donation wasn't added to the cart.

DO NOT ALLOW ACCESS TO YOUR STORE. I have been working with the developers to get the app running smoothly in store, they were very intermittent in their response, but eventually were able to set the donation portal on the product, and further on get that donation to carry to the cart. We launched the product which is free, but people can choose to pay an amount to donate to charity for it (pay it forward), however, each donation would reset the store price to what ever the last donation was requiring us to monitor each donation and change the price of the product back after each donation. When asked for technical assistance, 3 days and a number of emails later, the developers fix was to remove people from being able to see the price on the website, then delete an entire product from my store. What is left does not work at all. When emailed to ask why products have been deleted and the pricing removed from another - they do not respond. If the app works for you from word go, It was pretty handy and I would have used, but I strongly recommend finding another, or, not allowing access to your store - unless you need some products deleted.

We purchased this app to add a donation request section in our shopping cart. We wanted to customize the look and feel a bit and since we couldn't figure out how to change the CSS we reached out to customer support and they were very responsive and helpful. Several months later we changed our shop template and found that the new template didn't pull over our previous donation default settings. Once again support was very responsive, even over the holidays, and has been great about helping us resolve our minor issues. We are very satisfied with the relative ease of using this app and the customer service is great. It has helped us raise more money for our fundraising causes and allows us flexibility in terms of changing the design of the app look.

I used this app to make an easy way for customers to donate before checking out. I really like how seamless it is with the cart/checkout and clear and easy for customers to donate. It has very simple and basic settings. Another feature I like that many donation apps don’t do is that this donation was made with the same checkout and payment as the rest of the items in the cart - NO separate payment processor is used and NO additional payment or processing fees; this is a huge plus. As a non-profit that sells the donations are coming to us anyways and we shouldn’t have to pay some additional percentage from money that is generously donated to us. The payments come through the same processor that rest of our transactions use such as Shopify Payments and PayPal. This was a frustrating problem that I found with most of the other donation/non-profit apps that Easy Donation app doesn't have. My only wish is that it would be a little easier to install. My theme files looked different than in the guide they provided. However their customer support was very helpful and responsive in resolving my issue and implemented the app on my storefront within a day. The only features I would request is that there be a way to create a recurring donation option ie. weekly, monthly etc. The other minor attribute I wish this had was the ability to create a separate line item ie. tax, shipping, etc. in the reports and receipts instead of it being reflected as a SKU/product. Otherwise this app has been a great add-on for fundraising and extremely easy to use. Level of service was excellent. Zestard makes some other great apps that I’m testing out that so far I've been happy with.

For the Catawba Cultural Preservation Project we did a full integration of the Easy Donation app, with the addition of a call to action button on our navigation. Our store theme is a bit more complex and the Zestard support team solved a layout issue for us overnight, which was amazing service. Just installed this last night and had 3 donation. Its OK, but way of the mark for charging per month. The reporting function is very limited, and dosent seem to include how much cash has been donated to our charity nomination, only the amount of donations. It would be essential moving forward if we where to contunie using this app, for the app to have a cash reporting too for donations, as it would help justify and confirm to the charity how much was donated per period. Same detail for accounting purposes... So i cant see any other way of seeing the cash? Average

I run a website where I sell pens to raise money for a number of military charities. This had become complicated doing it myself and I asked Zetard if they could adapt their Easy Donation app. It has taken some time but the result is absolutely perfect. Customers can choose if they want to donate and how much and mine gives six different charities to choose from. I honestly don't think it could be better. I understand that the developer is someone called Ankit and what he, and the other support staff at Zetard have done has been tremendous and a great help to me. Definitely five stars. Paul Loseby
