Super useful app. I run an American Auto-Parts site in Switzerland and there are limitations to the standard shopify product selection functions. So, we have been using YMM -EasySearch for some time. Whenever we have had an issue, no matter if it's a big one or a small one, we have been able to depend on a speedy response, clear and concise communication, and a dedication to our satisfaction with the app. The most recent issue I had was swiftly resolved by Kateryna and Nina. I do recommend this app - it was a bit time consuming on the front end getting the database loaded, but the help it provides our customers is priceless, and saves us from answering the "what fits my arrow" question on a daily basis.

The team at Nexus Media has really redefined what "support" means. We've run into quite a few issues with Shopify platform limitations, and even requested a customization for our specific shop. Everything was done in lightning fast time, responses were received under 24 hours even on the weekends (!), the support team accommodated their assistance to my knowledge level, so very few clarifications were needed at each step. They were kind, understanding, clear on the instructions, and always glad to help. I have tried a few of these types of apps and this is the easiest to use but even better than that is the support. I had an issue with a collection not working correctly, I contacted the support who fixed the issue even though it was not caused by the app itself!

Not only is the simplicity of this app incredible, but the support team is also astounding. I subscribed to this app in order to make vehicle fitment search more straightforward, and it does precisely that. The app easily integrates with automotive parts distributors and allows you to manually upload an Excel document with vehicle fitment data. What solidified the glory of NexusMedia (the company that made this app) is its support team. Specifically Ilia, Nina, and the whole dev team. They walked me through the process of how to modify the app on my own and when that wasn't enough, they offered to do it FOR me. I am truly thankful to the team at NexusMedia.

This app works well and is fairly easy to implement. Customer service gets 5 stars for their responsiveness, and willingness to get the widget to work exactly for your needs/shop. I would give this 5 stars overall, but I can't explain myself why the app is priced at $19 a month, for a fairly static product (I don't foresee doing much to its implementation after it's fully installed). For how I use it (I do not operate a car parts store, which seems to be most of their clientele, but rather an RV furniture fitting business, which a much lighter vehicle catalog) I feel like I could deserve a smaller tier. Also, I decided to upload my own vehicle inventory rather than used the available library that didn't work for my needs - here again, I feel like I'm paying for something I'm not using. That said, I tried a couple more options available on the App Store and this one worked best in my opinion, so I decided to take on this cost.

Various custom features and settings to play around with and the BEST feature is the ability to auto populate the correct fitting products when bouncing from one collection to another. We are not in the car parts business, but easily adapted EasySearch to cover make and model for our industry. Very easy to upload our first 1000 products by Manufacturer, model, and Handle. Their experts also quickly (under 1 day) moved the boxes to the left of other header items so it's the first thing users see on mobile. Also quick to load on all platforms. Didn't mess up other search and menu items like two different mega menus did.

After 9 months of running the standard search widget there were a few improvements we wanted to make in terms of its design, function and position. The customer service and development teams responded promptly and worked on the site with minimal disruption. The worked requested was well executed with no need to go back and forth on e-mail. Having the successive (next) menu auto-open or drop down after a selection is made reduced the need for multiple clicks and improved user experience by removing any confusion. Highly recommended!

For a small business in the Auto Parts industry, this ap is perfect and such a bargain!! My customers will be able to extremely easily find the correct parts they landed on my site for now. The ONLY CON is not from this app, but from Shopify limiting the amount of smart collections to 5000. As you can see there are over 10,000 Year, Make, Model combinations to search by. The smart collection allows you to create a product and automatically drop it right onto the correct Smart Collection page by using the tags for Year Make Model. This keeps you from manually having to list the item to several pages/catagories/collections of models that it fits. Manual collection pages are unlimited so complete parts catalog searchable by Year Make Model can be done with extreme amount of time with this app if you are selling parts for the large range of Year Make Models (so buckle down!!). If you have a limited parts catalog with parts fitting under 5000 Year Make Model combos, then the work is great using the Smart Collection and is extremely worth it for your customer!!!!

For our store Dennisdeal.com we were in need of a 'year, make, model' search solution to help our customers find the right ink cartridges for their printers. The app is easy to setup and to fill data there are manual- and import options. But what is most important is that the people behind this app really take their customer serious. Wow. This is the BEST app I've installed in my store. I was using a script to filter tags earlier but it was primitive and very sloppy when you have a parts store, you want clear compatibility searching. I highly recommend you check this app out because it's a whole-in-one package for only $15 a month. Pretty insane considering the ease and power it has. EasySearch was easy to install, just one click to hit install once theme is chosen and then one line of code to be placed where you want the search bar to show. You can use a visual database editor to input the year, make, model by typing it out or you can upload csv files. The CSV file upload is easy and complete. For large stores this is a no brainer and worked best for us. I had questions before I installed to problems that never occurred, I was scared I would get stuck installation and asked if they offer help. They of course said not a problem, but then I breezed through the install :-) Thanks for the great job and I will be looking through your other apps for some more choices. Thank you again!!!! Wojtek

These guys are top notch. The EasySearch drop down works like a charm, and their logic and approach towards associating products with drop-downs is really simple and clever. Prior in Magento, for our particular store, we had to tie Year/Make/Model to each individual product, which was quite a pain, and there were no bulk upload options. This EasySearch allows you to perform bulk uploads, which not only shortened the amount of work we had to do, but also, it's so easy to modify in the future. You just select the drop down options you want, and associate a URL handle to it. Dead simple. On top of all this, their customer service is top-notch. One of their support staff, Denys, really went out of their way to look into a loading issue particular to our site. At first I wasn't too impressed and almost passed it by but once you start adding specific tags to products you have limitless search possibilities that target exactly what the customer specifies. Very easy to build or modify your search database as well which definitely wasn't the case with another app that I tried. A bit of tweaking with the optional CSS field and the dropdown search box fits right in with my theme. A big bonus is the the app transforms perfectly for mobile as well so no messing about there.
