The app did not work as expected as it left out the descriptions for over 900 products. I uninstalled the app and contacted the developer for a credit as I had not been charged. Was only interested in fixing it, when it was clear it didnt work as expected. Now he wont give the credit. Shopify CANNOT give the credit only the developer can! Developer closed the ticket without providing the credit! ebay-ced ($.19.00) is showing as pending on my upcoming bill, even although its been cancelled. They have not issued the credit, they dont know how to!

Dropping my review down to 2 stars. After YEARS of using this app and really promoting it to my industry at large, I'm just fed up and over the app now. Customer support is still fine but the app really not capable of managing large unique skus. It often doesn't sink properly. Our internal motto is to never have anything for sale that we don't have, always inventory. CED fails in this manner for us and often. We have a large product category and more often then not, when we sell in via our online store or storefront, the products don't sync properly with Ebay. So now we have items for sale on our Ebay store that we don't actually have which is a big problem for store reputation. Customer service does a good job or always point out what WE did wrong rather then look at the totality of the situation. There is no feature that signals mismatches, there is no way to re-sync, or to bulk audit manually. Nothing to flag inventory discrepancies. According the app "everything is fine" and its not. You have to reach out to customer service (which is still fine) and can take up to an hour to resolve. I have a business to run, the software just needs to work. Clearly none of them own a business using the product they sell. So they look at business operations from an engineering solution rather then how it effects us operation. At this point we will be finding an alternative app. This is a very power app that provides a Shopify owner the ability to own their brand but free up cash to by selling on Ebay. The app is not terribly hard but there is a steep learning curve that requires a lot of questions at the beginning. The good news is customer service is absolutely incredible. I'm barely scratching the surface on unlocking the power of the app. I freed up $1,000+ before the month was out using the app. So it paid for itself for the year at my level. Can't recommend enough.

Unfortunately better pricing being offered by competitors, and CED is not a perfect app, so I've had to look at other apps based on price. Good customer service for getting it set up, and little adjustments along the way, but not all the functionality I'd like at the price.

Super buggy software. Almost everything appears to be done in batch instead of real-time because you have to trigger most things through menu items. There are many steps to getting a product on Ebay and then when you do get one on, sometimes CED gets out of sync and you have to do everything again. It's also not intuitive to me and does not follow the logic of how you would sell on Ebay. It's also a separate app and not integrated into the Shopify UI.

Although CedCommerce eBay Integration customer service seemed really helpful, as soon as they fixed a problem we were having, they asked me to leave a review and stayed on the shared screen until they had seen me write it! After this we have had nothing but trouble with the app, the inventory is continuously incorrect causing sales on things we don't have, and then the final straw yesterday, when it happen again, they claimed it was my fault as I had listed items directly on eBay, when we have use their app for everything.

They must pay for positive reviews, this product is horrible we are having duplicate sales constantly, I paid more for dedicated support they do not reply in a timely manner, even if you send a detailed issue report they want a 1 hour call every time for you to show problem, this is eating up so much of my time, when they fix it they are doing so manually so the bugs are still in the program, they try to upsell you everyday on other products. I purchased the eBay Shopify app which was said to track inventory between eBay sales and my Shopify site. It worked at first, then stopped tracking inventory after about a month. They fixed it after a few days but again stopped tracking inventory again after about a month. This continued until a month ago at which point support stopped responding to my emails pertaining to the inventory tracking feature not working. I understand that sometimes apps will not work due to eBay changes etc., but not every month and there is no excuse to not respond to customers email requests to fix the app. I wish I had read the reviews of CedCommerce before purchasing as they are almost all bad, avoid this app and nonresponsive company!

Once again this app has failed. Orders are made on ebay on stock that is no longer available on the store. Their customer service does nothing to fix it. They claim to email you with a solution because their help desk are not able to fix it and never get back to you. Update - CedCommerce have informed me that eBay do not permit any Apps to manage the refunds, so this is an eBay issue. But I feel this could be made clearer somehow when generating the refund through Shopify so I have requested that something be done to improve this. ______________________________________ This app has worked really well for us, enabling us to easily add our products into eBay whilst keeping stock levels integrated with Shopify so it all runs seamlessly together. The only setback I've had is with the returns. I initiated a refund through Shopify for an eBay order but this isn't automatically generated so you have to manage this through eBay. That's the only downside so far.

CedCommerce does not sync inventory properly in addition to other persistent issues that have resulted in a hit to seller performance. The primary function of any sales channel manager is to sync inventory between platforms. Inventory discrepancies are a daily occurrence, leading to overselling on eBay. After contacting support on several occasions with no success we are moving on. While support has quick response it does appear there is NO tech support only customer service.

Update - Support has seemingly fixed the situation, but only time will tell for sure. ------------------- Having used this for at least a year now, I can say that this app is not great. The UI is very clunky; lack of filtering options. Doesn't sync eBay/Shopify quantity properly, so I frequently end up over selling or not having the order from eBay brought over to Shopify becasue Shopify is out of stock and eBay isn't. Whenver I contact support about this, it's always 'Okay, we've synced it for you'. Never 'I can see this is a problem, and this is what we'll do to fix it going forward'.

We've been using CedCommerce as our eBay integration solution for over a year now, and overall we are highly satisfied with the functionality, ease of use and performance of the app as well as the support provided by the CedCommerce team when needed. After trialing a number of eBay connection apps, we settled on CedCommerce and are more than happy with the performance. We are running the Silver Account which allows us to process up to 500 eBay orders per month. Orders are syndicated into Shopify allowing full order management in one system. Fulfillment is then synced back to eBay meaning a seamless order management process. The app has enabled us to apply price multipliers to our products in order to cater for eBay fees and to provide free shipping to eBay customers without losing margin. Once we learned how to manage this, it has been easy to roll this out to our full product range with ease. If you are looking to add eBay as a new sales channel for your Shopify store, I would not hesitate to recommend CedCommerce as your solution to do so.

Quite possibly the worst most user unfriendly app on the shopify platform. I urge you to find an alternative. For example - the app has no way to map product condition from shopify to ebay. So if you sell new and used items it will list them all as used. Their solution - YOU need to go in and manually change each of your 500 products! This app is a constant source of stress and frustration for me. It doesn't "just work" at what it's supposed to do and you have to watch it like a hawk. I sell single vintage items 200+ per week on shopify, then import them to eBay. I have always had the ongoing issue of items selling on my website and not being taken down from eBay even though they are out of stock on Shopify. When this happens the order on eBay of the unavailable item on Shopify doesn't sync to my shop so I am unaware until an angry customer reaches out to me because their order is past due and stuck in eBay. I'll have to refund the customer and it hurts my eBay seller status. One month I even had 20+ cancellations and incurred an higher final value fee from eBay until I was eligible for re-evaluation the next period. This is crazy because overall we are very on top of things. I also find that the support doesn't understand English very well and will often touch settings on my integration without explicit permission. This has happened at least 2 times which has caused me great concern.
