Webgility makes your life easier. Once you get through the onboarding and decide on all of your settings, it gets easier and easier from there. We have been using it for many years and will be using it for many more. We just made a switch from QB Desktop to QB Online and had to do the onboarding for QB Online and both Muskaan and Kriti were very helpful along the way. Very knowledgeable.

We’ve tested multiple connectors between Shopify and QuickBooks Online, and Webgility is the only solution we’ve found that truly works the way QBO is meant to work. The biggest win for us is that Webgility can create summary invoice in QBO that accurately relieves inventory, instead of flooding QuickBooks with thousands of individual transactions. That alone makes it a standout product for any business doing real volume in Shopify. Beyond the software itself, the onboarding experience was excellent. Faizan was instrumental in getting everything set up correctly. He clearly understands both Shopify and QuickBooks Online, walked us through the nuances, and made sure the integration was configured exactly the way we needed. What could have been a painful setup was actually smooth and straightforward. If you’re serious about clean accounting, proper inventory relief, and scalability with Shopify and QBO, Webgility is hands down the best connector we’ve used.

Not a good experience. Signed up, for the top plan, explained everything to their sales team that we wanted a turn key solution. Didn't care how much the cost was. After signup, It started off good, but then payouts didn't match up to the bank feed. After spending 45 days on it wasting many hours, with online screen shares, they had to keep going back to their engineers because something was not correct. Finally, I found Acuity through A2x software, and they said the same thing. They are constantly moving customers from webgility because their software does not work. We also spend an additional $200 with webgility to take care of the entire setup. At the end, they stuck us for $680 and we were never able to import any transactions into quickbooks online. They said they don't refund. So make sure you have money to waste if you plan on signing up. They keep saying they want to try it again and they fixed the problem, etc. We have moved on to a2x and it is working great! Setup was 1 day.

I have used the desktop version in the past and it works great. I recently moved to the online version, and it still does the job well. It does a much better job than the free connector from QB. Webgility will record your product sales as the products that you actually sold and not a generic product called Shopify product like the free QB connector does.

Update- This is all still true another year later. Aditi has been a wonderful rep to work with and so very helpful! I've been using Webgility for about 5 years now- first with QB desktop and now with QB online. Customer support has been exceptional each time, during and after setup. The online connection is user friendly and easy to setup and maintain. The on boarding process is very thorough and covers all areas. If anything can't be immediately solved, support is on top of it and sees any issue through to resolution. Using Webgility has and will continue to be a solid time saver for our business.

I have been using Webgility now for several months and have been very impressed with the whole process. It is an incredibly robust software that was eliminated a great amount of administrative work with creating products in both QBO and Shopify and syncing prices across the two platforms. I have been working with Prerit for onboarding and subsequent follow up sessions and it has been such a pleasure. He is incredibly patient, professional, thorough and knowledgeable. The team is very open and responsive to feedback for suggested improvements and I am hopeful that my suggestions will be put into place. Currently, items can only be created in Shopify and "pushed" into QBO. I would also like to be able create items in QBO and "push" them into Shopify. My business often creates items in both areas and it would be a time saver to know that regardless of where they are created, they will be able to sync up.

David Pond helped us with our implementation for years. We had a hard time implementing multiple times with no fault on Webgility, but rather because we didn't set-up our items and settings correctly. Yet him and Webgility took their time to make sure we were set-up correctly and once we went live, automation was seamless with no issues. We are currently using QBO for this integration but also used Webgility when we operated in Netsuite. Webgility's team was a big help, worked with us during transitions regardless of what accounting system we were using at the time but now that we operate in QBO, utilizing Webgility once again was an obvious choice. Webgility is a great tool, but it is frustrating for me that it does not post an exchange rate on Foreign Currency transactions. I have spoken with Webgilities technical support about this issue and their position is that QuickBooks should be posting the exchange rate. The outcome of this is that we have to manually change a couple thousand transactions each year that are sold on Amazon in Canada. Each transaction is posted as having a currency exchange rate of one. Last year, we had to take a $60K write down at the end of the year because of this problem with the Webgility integration. Outside of that (significant) issue, it works very well. I do love the feature that transactions can be unposted, settings revised, and reposted. That feature has been pure gold.

Wow! Excellent customer service! I did not expect to have such a thorough and patient experience with a Shopify App developer, but the team at Webgility did an amazing job with actively reaching out & assisting with connecting my Shopify Advanced store to my Quickbooks Online account. They walked me through each feature of their platform and ensured that I knew all the ways that I can automate and sync features between the two platforms. The only small issue I have (unrelated to on-boarding process) is that I use Authorize.net as my payment processor (not Shopify Payments or PayPal because I sell "high-risk" items), so that's the only thing I will need to manually track. They assured me that they are actively working to implement this feature now, and anyone using Shopify Payments/PayPal should not have an issue with this. Luckily, I'm only selling B2B at the moment & not using Authorize.net much for sales (mostly manual ACH payments with payment link emailed from QB). 5/5 review from the amazing on-boarding experience & available support for ongoing questions.

The only issue we have had is with mapping multiple products with the same sku and with deleted items that keep showing up in inventory as 'Out of Sync'. We've been using Webgility for around 10 years. We currently have a Shopify store and two Etsy stores and we are able to successfully sync the stores' inventories with our Quickbooks master inventory. Webgility integrates well with Quickbooks. We download our orders from our stores into Webgility, print packing slips, process shiping, print labels and post to store and to Quickbooks. We've been very satisfied with Webgility. We run the system with an admin computer and two add-on computers with no issues. The customer service is great. There is almost no wait time for technical support and the technical support team members are very knowledgable.

We have used Webgility for almost 3 years now. It is far superior to anything else we have tried. The app is fairly sophisticated and allows for a lot of specification and the customer service is very good. Like anything it has its issues, for example, we are currently dealing with an issue with our paypal payments refusing to post to QB. Nothing is ever perfect, but I always appreciate Webgility's diligence in making sure the problems are corrected.

Online supplement sales - Shopify > Webgility > QuickBooks Online Our inventory is maintained primarily in QuickBooks so it was important for me that the app was able to easily map shopify sku's to QuickBooks products. It can do alot of that work auto-magic-ally but it also allows for manual mapping as well. This app does support QuickBooks Online Product Bundles, and unlike some other apps offers a solution to mismatched pricing between product bundles in Shopify and QuickBooks Online so that I'm not constantly having to go in and update synced orders to match the actual order price. I waited too long to implement this software, I'm actually sad about all of the hours wasted on manual processes and other apps that just didn't meet the specific needs we have. Kshitij did my implementation and he was phenomenal. Actually everyone I've interacted with at Webgility has been very professional and extremely helpful. I tend to be impatient with onboarding calls and such but Kshitij was responsive and flexible with me and showed me only what I needed to know rather than sticking to a script and wasting my time. We tried out six different Shopify to QuickBooks integrations and found each lacking needed features. In the end, we landed on Webgility Desktop. My only complaint is that I wish we could have used Webgility Online, but it doesn't support Shopify POS. Aside from having to set this up on a local computer, the software is probably the most flexible solution on the market, making it easy to conform to exactly how you want to run your accounting. And Prerit offers a very solid onboarding experience, taking to time to carefully go through all of our questions and make sure we have answers.

We have been using Webgility for about 2 years now to synchronize our orders and inventory between Shopify, Etsy, and Quickbooks. It did take some time in the beginning to get everything working properly which felt like a challenge. However, I'm glad that we stuck through it. Once we were a couple of months in and fine tuned all of the settings with the help of the webgility support staff it has run very smooth and has saved us a great deal of time in data entry. On occasion (2-3 times per year) we will get an error due to Webgility or Quickbooks updating their software. But a quick call to Webgility Support resolves the issue. The Webgility support staff will commonly do a screen share and fix everything as we watch. Contacting support is typically very fast with a hold time of less than 2 minutes. I have seen reviews that indicated that the support was handled by a call center. At first I believed these reviews but quickly realized that support is simply an India based company and that the entire staff is extremely well versed and trained in the software. Bottom line- you may be a little frustrated when first starting off- but stick with it- once you are up and rolling you have access to some of the best integration and support staff that I've experienced.

It was a nightmare. We tried to replace an existing app with this one for our Quickbooks sync, however, this app reorganized our inventory by adding a duplicate SKU of each product and then went back three months and created new invoices for every sale receipt we had done! This caused our inventory to be way off as the new invoices created took another item from inventory. We are still trying to correct this mess on our second day of making corrections. The support chat was unanswered, so I am guessing they are on the east coast and have limited hours.

5/26/2022 - We have been using Webgility for at least 8 years now and we love it!! It posts all our orders to QB and they can be done as sales receipts or invoices. No more manual entry for me! I just don't have time while running all the other facets of our business! We can also make changes to any order, add an item, and even add a batch number right in webgility before we post to QB so those things show up in the sales receipt or invoice as well - very helpful for us as manufacturers. Then, Webgility can post back to the store to show that the order has been fulfilled. The Webgility guys ALWAYS seem to know their stuff!! Finally! For years I spent many hours manually adding transactions to Quickbooks. As my business grew my accounting became sloppy. I needed a better solution. I tried a local accountant but they had no clue how to integrate Shopify, PayPal and Amazon sales, shipping and fees into Quickbooks. I am new to Webgility and it is a very powerful accounting system. Their free three two-hour 'onboarding' Zoom meetings got me started. If I encounter any questions they are instantly (almost) available to help. Accounting used to be a time-consuming headache for me and it appears that Webgility has solved my dilemma. OH! I am using Quickbooks Desktop 2020 and Webgility Advanced An Update March 23, 2023: Here at Hummingbird Market we have been using Webgility for a long while. Now I do not even think about accounting. Webgility transparently keeps track of my Shopify, PayPal and Amazon orders and automatically transfers all the pertinent data to my desktop Quickbooks Premier Manufacturing and Wholesale accounting system. Shoeb Khan is my dedicated account manager at Webgility. Should a problem arise he is proactive and quickly resolves any issues---but there are really none. I just experienced what I have not experienced in a while with Aman Pachori today and that is a consistent customer service experience. Webgility has a staff dedicated to making sure every aspect of their software is meeting the demands placed upon it. I have already crashed and burned with two other Quickbook connectors in the past, and was very guarded when I was introduced to Webgility. It has been 5 months since I began using their integration tool and have been blown away by the wide arrange of options and smooth integration. Like anything tech there onboarding bumps, but every customer service person has been very knowledgeable of their product and will stay on the phone with you for as long as it takes to get the issue resolved. I wish there were more than five stars to give!!!

The dev team has been very good to work with for implementing several customizations to the API's, both to shopify and to quickbooks desktop enterpise. The API's are solid and the automation is reliable. Tech support is excellent and accessible by phone when we need them. Our warehouse team has enjoyed much improved efficiency in processing orders. Our customer service team is happy with the extra data being posted back to the store as a result of the customizations. Overall a good experience. Much better than another well-known app we used previously that had very poor tech support.
