It would be incredible to have an option for our customers to donate to meet a set goal to make it easier on finances. Especially for smaller businesses that are passionate about giving back to the environment, sometimes all we can do is $20/ mo. Imagine how much more could be donated if there was a widget to allow customers to donate. Otherwise, I love this app and it's generally easy to use.

Although my store is new and in the early development stage I have found ecologi easy and straightforward to set up and use. I'm happy to be able to show that my store is having positive impact on the environment one sale at a time.

We installed Ecologi for a short-term campaign and believed the program had been paused after the campaign ended and the donation was deducted. We removed all Ecologi-related content from our storefront at that time. However, billing continued in the background without clear notification, and we later discovered a significant charge. The subscription only fully stopped after Shopify official support assisted us with uninstalling the app. The concept is positive, but merchants should be very cautious about the billing mechanism and ensure they fully understand how to stop charges, as removing visible features alone does not stop billing

It has take very long to improve few aspects. Also the cost of tree planting is 20 cnets more expensive than buying it on the shop, that is not correct. Still does not offer an option to also let the customers to pay for funding the tree planting or now the carbon removal. This should be an option so that we dont need to cover all the costs. It would be great if your app could calculate the CO2 impact of the shipping from the products from origin to the customers place. Including products that are first imported and then distributed from a Warehouse for exampel in the UK.

We love Ecologi. Their application was a easy to set up. Requires further development though as the application does not provide store owners with any automatic placement of badges. We do highly recommend Ecologi; though. We shall continue to use it and look forward to future updates.

We are unfortunately considering canceling this integration as the Shopify API doesn't showcase that we are planting trees on our products pages (despite Ecologi's images showing that their app makes it possible).

It's quick and easy to set up an account, however I don't really feel like it's set up for Shopify Integration at all. You can see on your account how many trees you've donated which is great but to get that information onto your website you need to mess around with code. There's also no option to show customers on the product pages that their purchase is making a donation. The info on the app images are very misleading as it makes out that this is possible

We had to downgrade our rating from 5 stars to 1 star. Our profile with Ecologi is constantly showing server errors or other errors related to rendering the website. This causes big confusion with our customers and ultimately in them loosing trust into our business if our climate action claims are not verifiable by them. Support was useless so far and told us 3 times that the problem was fixed althought it wasn't fixed. We sent screenshots of the problem each time and yet no one seems to care but rather send a canned response that the problem is fixed when it isn't.

I love Ecologi and I'm bvery happy that we are able to use this app to integrate our existing work with them into our shopify shop (we already have been using the carbon offset for employees for a while now). The only thing I would love to see added is an option for customers to overcompensate the amount of carbon compensation, and maybe something like a badge? Currently we just coded the latter into the shop theme ourselves.

Really quick & easy to set up, great pricing per tree. However I would like to see more integration on the website so my customers know they are planting a tree with every order rather than me trying to mess about with code or making specific content for the website to highlight it.

Really great app, I can make more of an impact for cheaper than some other options out there and track it at the same time! I would really like to see some more integration into the checkout process, showing customers how many trees will be planted etc. Also maybe the option for additional trees to be paid for? Super easy to set up. Tree pricing is surprisingly low. I'd love to see a bit more integration into my shop interface, to help draw attention to the trees being funded with each purchase so I could use this positive action also to better leverage this awesomeness for my own branding, but for now I can add a bunch of this stuff myself manually, and am just happy at how easy it was to get started.

I like the idea, but the app interface on Shopify is pretty limited. Select the number of maximum trees and how many per order. What about: Showing it to your customers on your product page? Which code should be added? Sending customers an email about the trees they planted (pictures)?

We do our best to be kind to the planet, but inevitably our business activities create carbon emissions. So to offset this whenever our customers buy something they plant some trees via this App. Its really easy to install, needs no maintenance, just looks after itself. We had a couple of questions initially and the Offset Earth people were really quick to help us. From the comments we've had customers really feel good about planting trees and so they feel good about buying our products, so that's everyone's happy. There is a downside though. You can see where you are on the leaderboard against other companies in planting trees, so we spend a lot of the day checking how we're doing! No seriously, it reminds everyone at Revolutionworks daily that we have to take care of the environment, gotta be good, right?

The app works well, is free, aside from the funds for trees. It’s nice to able to choose to donate per product, per order, etc. and I REALLY love the virtual forest, it adds a little bit of a “tangible” aspect. I wish there was a little more implementation into the site, the ability to add verbiage and info about the project, with the click of a button. But they do have graphics we can use and implement ourselves.
