Cleverific has been a game changer for our ecommerce business. Address changes were the number one customer service request we were fielding on a daily basis, often causing frustrations when our orders shipped out faster than the address changes could be communicated. Adding a 15 minute hold to our order processing to allow for customers to adjust addresses themselves has already cut down on the number of requests we're recieving in just a few weeks of having the app installed on our website. I couldn't recommend this app enough!

Has a setting that refunds edited orders by default, automatically enabled. App in no way lets you know that it will be refunding orders by default. Support was no help as far as cancelling the refund we did not approve. Potentially massive problem, we are currently at the mercy of our customer being willing to pay a second time after receiving everything already.

Wonderful app that opens up more editing options than the Shopify standard editing! We work a lot with line item properties and it's great to have a way to edit those on an order. It's also a great way to change an order from Local Pickup to Shipping, if a customer changes their mind. The customer service is also great. They recently added a requested feature to prevent using the Advanced Mode on Managed Markets orders (short version - not a good idea to use it on those). That will undoubtedly save us, and probably some other merchants, from future headaches.

This app is good. We sometimes use it to duplicate orders because Shopify locks many aspects of the orders depending on their status, so this lets us kind of get around that problem. You can also use it to work with bundles of products more easily (expanding a single product into a group of products automatically) and it has automation aspects that you can use in Shopify Flow. Also, their support and product development folks were very helpful when we were requesting a new feature -- they got the feature set up for us and we were able to use it not long after that.

Some of the best support I've received from any company. When I started using Cleverific, I thought it was alright. It gave us the order editing needs that Shopify didn't have natively. But then one day Cleverific's support team reached out to me and asked if I wanted to chat, and I'm so glad I did. I was only using a fraction of what Cleverific had to offer! With their help, I was able to get their customer portal installed on our site, and it's a game changer. (Our own customer support team says this is the most helpful thing we've done for them since we started using Shopify.) Cleverific's support team continues to reach out and check in regularly, and together we're making things even better for our customers. If you don't want to go alone, go with Cleverific.

We have been using the reviewer for a year or so. Downsides are that it is a little pricey and if you use it after a sale it can double count total sales. Positives are that it does enable one to modify a draft order much easier than Shopify's particularly clunky process and so it does save quite a bit of time. The interface with Shopify requires you to do an extra refresh for the changes to show up sometimes. Support is available through chat which is not immediate but within 24 hours. If you are often modifying draft orders it is a useful tool

1st top notch support, fast turn around when you need it, but guess what, most of the time you do not even need to reach out to support because it just works :) I have been using Cleverific Order Editor for the past 5 years and its addressing Shopify Native Edit missing features like editing shipping fees, taxes, and much more. We are able to provide faster turn-around to our customers when changes needed to be done to their orders. Highly recomemnded :)

This has allowed us resolve a number of order tracking and outgoing inventory issues. The only frustration is that Shopify doesn't allow for the original order to have shipping changed without recreating the order. Customer Service did a great job of explaining the workaround but I hope shopify allows for better integration for B2B sites.

Edit Order by Cleverific's 'advanced mode" makes it easy to adjust pricing, discounts, and even adjust which kind of notifications customers get. I run e-comm ops for multiple clients and I always suggest they install Edit Order by Cleverific. It gives the power and control back to your customer service team to edit and invoice for add-on products, shipping etc as well as correct mistakes made at checkout. It even allows you to edit orders older than 60 days, which other Edit tools built into Shopify do not. I couldn't imagine running a store without this.

It sounds so easy and it is easy to make changes...until you find out it creates a new order in place of the old one which created more problems for me to fix. With the way my system is set up this won't work for me and I really wish it would have. Beware that the duplicate order will show up in your Shopify reports which will inflate sales.

Awesome app that makes our life so much easier. As a coffee roaster we have both Retail and Wholesale and several times are adjusting orders for our wholesale customers and provide special pricing for specific customers. This app has made all of this possible. We have used EditOrder for over a year now. We ship to wholesale account and direct to consumer. Wholesale accounts are constantly changing their orders. Even the DTC has changes. I can't imagine using Shopify if we didn't have EditOrder to make changes. I would have to go back to WooCommerc which is where we came from. Their support team is very responsive. I have had to contact them 3 separate times and they have always responded back quickly with answers that made send. In other words they correctly interpreted my problem. I have not found this to be the case with all other app support requests. I would rate them a must have for being able to edit orders in Shopify.

I've used this app for years then about 9 months ago I noticed that the shipping fee on the original order was no longer being cleared. I have contacted support several times, and they simply blamed shopify, refusing to fix the issue with their app. I can no longer use this app as my accounting numbers get all screwed up. I now simply create a duplicate order with a 100% discount for the corrections. This is a much simpler and free solution to my problem.

We use Edit Order in a bunch of ways to help our customers with order changes. Shopify's built-in Edit Order solution is great but very limited. This fills in the gaps in a lot of cases by allowing us to use discounts edited orders, and make adjustments that the Shopify editor just don't allow for. Would highly recommend.

This is a great app, with powerful functionality. If you're like us and run a subscription service, then your orders will likely come in containing virtual products (the subscription). Edit Order allows us to edit these virtual items and replace them with real ones. It also allows us to create replacements, exchanges, and more. I will start with the obvious, you should not need this app. Shopify should have real edit order capabilities, but they do not. Now that we have that out of the way, I can say that this is a great app and the team behind it is also great. Is it perfect... no. But you can raise issues and they listen, and when they can will work on it. Some limitations exist because of Shopify, and I do not fault them for that. As others mention, this will impact your reporting, so I recommend that you invest in building out your own reporting database. If you have a sizable business, you should be doing this anyway because Shopify won't meet your needs regardless. Things that I would like to see... the ability to manage partial payments including partial payment requests, better wholesale/tiered pricing functionality, better linking between payment transactions and actual orders.

This app is really essential with any Shopify instance. It provides functionality that Shopify should have had all along, allowing you to Edit an order, removing or adding items, or just swapping variants. Any issue we've run into has been resolved quickly by their support team, and they really take into account what users are requesting when adding new features. Even when Shopify adds editing ability, we'll likely still use this app, as they've got the experience with what customers need, and are always extremely helpful. I've never waited more than a day before hearing from their support team, and they know their product! No first tier support to get through that gives useless suggestions like most apps. I'd recommend this app to anyone and everyone using Shopify!

We use this app almost every hour! If a customer wants to change the color of what they order, you don't have to refund them completely, then re-charge them (which is not cool since refunds can take up to 10 days to post). There isn't a single other app we use (and we use a fair amount of apps) that have been as useful as this app. The reporting payments are a bit of a headache for now, but I know this is more of a limitation in Shopify, and once able to, the developers of this app will have it changed quickly. They're really on top of everything!

Edit Order has actually saved many of our sales from being lost, by providing a service that is not native to Shopify, being able to edit an order after a customer had made it. You can invoice customers and have them pay on their own, which protects us in California, from chargebacks, instead of manually entering a customer's credit card. The logic in the app is flawless, and works exactly as you would expect it to, and has features you wouldn't even consider as necessary (but trust me, they are!). Just an overall great app.

The fact that you are selling an app that allows people to edit orders and NOT PROVIDE the function to send an order confirmation / receipt of their updated order with new total price is unbelievable. We've been using Edit order for about 4 months and have only great things to say about both the app and their customer support. Edit Order has been instrumental in helping us resolve operational challenges we were facing with various types of orders. Being able to edit and re-save has been unbelievably helpful. We did experience a couple of small issues with the app, and Edit Orders team was responsive to fix them in a timely manner. In one case, (some incorrect taxation on our non-taxable items), Edit Order reviewed and pushed out a change to resolve this issue. Too often apps say they'll get around to a fix but it takes ages to see it happen. In the second case, Edit Order lobbied another company on our behalf to resolve a discrepancy with how they were handling the data. All in all, extremely impressed by their customer support - thank you Josh, Andrew & Tu!

The Cleverific team is amazing! We had an issue that we couldn't reorganize products on the order. This was confusing our clients, because our main items were being input first and getting placed below the add-ons. We constantly were changing orders because clients needed add-ons (yay up-sells) to their order, but it was making the list look backwards. Now, we can reorganize our items to make it less confusing to our clients, and they love it (and we love it too)! Because the actual weight of meat, seafood and deli items can never be known until you fulfill the order, there is a need to constantly edit the final sales price. This app is a Godsend. This app solves so many shortcomings of Shopify and the support is beyond great! They are constantly taking feedback and making improvements. My one big downside for this app is that it really negatively impacts our reporting. Between the cancelled orders showing up (easy to filter out) and the adjustment orders duplicating sales (really hard to filter out), it's pretty hard to see accurate sales numbers. But even that is still worth all the functionality we've gained with being able to help customers change their orders or place more complicated custom orders.

UPDATE: We've updated our rating from 4 to 5 stars as the main reason for our previous rating is due to the app not working on draft orders. The team was thankful that we detected a bug and it's now been resolved and functions as expected. The contact person was diligent with following up to ensure we are 100% satisfied with the app. It does everything pretty easily, no big complaints. One reason we cannot provide a 5-star rating is because when attempting to edit pricing on a draft order (while it appears it's possible), after clicking "Save", it doesn't actually save the edits. Understandable as drafts technically aren't orders, but the app shouldn't be an available option under "More actions" if it's not going to function. The other reason we cannot provide a 5-star rating is that there's always room for improvement.

Some of my orders contain over 40+ SkUs. Shopify's native order builder just isn't cut out to handle orders of this size. This app is essential for any Shopify store. The fact that you cannot edit an Order in Shopify alone, means that you would have to refund your customer (and we all know how long refunds can take to go through) and re-charge them, all to change, maybe, the color of an item they're purchasing. This app provides the solution, and does it in an extremely intelligent way. Everything makes sense with the app, and it is so easy to use that most of our users haven't needed any training. I spent about 2 hours trying to find out how I as a distributor can create an invoice for the shipping part of an order that needed to be separately. There is no place to do that. This app is fantastic! I was initially shocked to learn that there was no way to edit orders in Shopify. Finding this app was amazing, as it more than made up for this missing feature! The edit options can be a little daunting at first, but this is only because the app can do so much. I sell customized products, and the customization details are sent through to an order management system that handle multi-channel orders. With this app, I can add line item customizations when editing an order for a customer. This lets me include that customization info on the product that is being customized. All in all, this app is worth every penny!

We have been using Edit Order since early in 2015 when we moved our store to the Shopify system. What impresses me most is how reliable the system works, and how they continue to enhance the app. Since nearly all of our products require custom or personalized content, we have used the app to edit existing orders when a mistake was made entering the content. Being able to edit content without cancelling and starting over is essential to our product line, and relationship with our customers. However, we have definitely struggled with how to manage reorders, where some of the content needed to be changed. Until this latest update to the software that allows for draft orders can be edited ... we had resigned ourselves to entering the order from scratch, even if the change was very minor. NOW, we can duplicate the previous order, save it as a draft, and then use edit order to edit the draft. Once the order is just right, we can send (email) an invoice to the customer for payment. There are currently 3 edit order apps in the market and this is the best one. I will leave a brief comparison below: This App (Edit Order by Cleverific): It allows you to edit orders, change prices/taxes just like the others. This app can also add extra properties to the items and the order itself, which the others can't. The support for this app is good. Josh typically replies my emails in a few hours and he really helps to solve issues. There are a few minor issues with this app, but I believe they will improve it constantly. The other two (Edit Order by Lion Apps, Edit Orders - Editify by Booster Apps): I believe they are made by the same shit people, because they look the same and work in the same way. They can edit orders and change price/tax, but they CANNOT add extra property to items as mentioned above. Support doesn't exist. They never reply my emails. The worse thing is they will try to trick you to sign up the premium plan when you install the apps, instead of offering the 14 days free trial. Watch out for that. If you are looking for an app to edit orders, then this is the app you are looking for. Don't even bother to test the other two, you may end up paying for testing.

Easy to setup and after migrating from Magento it was already being used on day 1 and pretty much every day since. Sure, you can edit orders. Be prepared to have your Shopify accounting reports all screwed up and inaccurate. If you edit an order with this app, the extra money you're paying Shopify for reports will be inaccurate and worthless.

Great app! Although a new transaction and order # isn't the most ideal, I understand it's a workaround of Shopify's limitation of not allowing sellers to edit a submitted order. That's a big glaring omission on Shopify's part - its so common for customers to add/subtract items or change colors and sizes! We've used this app a few times, and its able to "edit" an order as smoothly as possible, and transfer payment records to the new order. We did have an issue one time and Josh was quick to reply our email about it.

Use the retail package for brick and mortar store. This cancels the original order, makes a new one with the edited items, and marks it as paid so you can't accept payment on either order. It also makes a mess of accounting. Hot garbage.

We wouldn't use Shopify if not for this app. As you know, Shopify doesn't allow you to change completed orders due to liability concerns, but Edit Order is the next best thing. Though it's more of a work around than anything else, it works seamlessly enough to where your customers wouldn't know the difference if your order was changed after the fact. Give yourself a little bit of time to get a feel of the mechanics of the app, and be sure to test the app out a lot on dummy accounts before going live with it. I recommend taking their tutorials and walkthroughs just so you have a better idea of what to expect from the app.

We are constantly doing custom developments for our store we've had since 2010. We sell not only B2C but B2B and were looking for a Shopify App to use in our new Shopify store to Asia that would allow us to adapt to their shopping needs and customs. Edit Order is an excellent tool which has allowed us to, out of the box, solve many of the issues we were facing. It is a simple solution which allows you to edit existing orders in any way you want. The way this is handled is clean, bug-free and intuitive. We also needed help with one small added feature and the developer of the app was flexible, kind and fast in helping us get this done. Love this app! We sell healthy prepared meals and sometimes customers need to change their order after it's placed--either they need to add an item, remove and item, or both. Edit Order allows us to easily assist customers and get them exactly what they want without having to completely delete and refund the initial order and have the customer place an entirely new order, or rely on two separate order numbers/invoices (which can be a nightmare for streamlined distribution). I highly recommend this app to any business that needs to edit orders/invoices in Shopify!

Edit Order fills in a glaring Shopify omission: The ability to edit orders. Customers are bound to select multiple items one size and accidentally add one with a different size. (My former shop would flag such discrepancies in the checkout window.) Edit Order does not flag discrepancies but it does allow you to contact a grateful customer and change line items on their invoice. Refunds and requests for additional funds are seamless handled through the Shopify interface. Customer service has been excellent. ---- My only complaints have nothing to do with the app, but rather how Shopify maintains its audit trail. Edits require the original order to be canceled and a new one created. Cleverific makes this process as transparent as possible; it can even adjust inventory. The issue is that Shopify includes multiple sales in the customer history following an edit. If you edit a variant description without even touching the price on a $50 order, customer history will indicate 2 orders totaling $100 have been made. Need to make another edit? Now the customer has placed 3 orders totaling $150.

Shopify is a great product by itself, but I needed to collect 1/2 now and 1/2 later for payments. We here at leathershowroom.com needed to correct an order if the customer changed their mind and wanted a different color leather. All of theirs changes are now possible with Cleverific. As an added bonus you can call and talk to a real person when you need to (Andrew was very hel[pful). Great customer service and quick response. Please do not use this app to edit POS sales. The coding is only set up for online. I also believe that it has not been fully tested. I lost a large amount of money because it decided to remove the tax from an edited order. I still will have to pay the tax to the state and Shopify has no way of resending the actions caused by this app. Therefore the taxes I collected had been removed and I still the taxes. The only reason I am giving this a 2 is because someone did respond, but basically the answer was sorry. Therefore I am out double the amount :(

Relatively early days for us using this app but it's working beautifully for our needs thus far (with really no change to default settings) and I REALLY appreciate it. We have a very maintenance-intensive customer base, with frequent phone calls for order modifications, so having something like this was quite necessary. I was surprised and pleased to find how seamlessly it works with ShipStation! First order I edited, I checked to see and yes, the original disappeared and the new order appeared in ShipStation pretty much immediately. - From the spot checking I have done, it's doing great with inventory adjustments. That's crucial for us as we have very closely managed stock due to chronic industry shortages. - I have not used their support much at all but when I first downloaded it and was looking for a feature that was in beta if I remember right, they were very kind about immediately activating it for me so that I could get started. I will probably post more when we've used it for awhile and have done more staff training on it.

The customer support for this app has been quick, responsive, and friendly. We've learned a few things the hard way in regards to how the app impacts our accounting and shipping: - Even though it's nice to have order numbers preserved with a suffix, we had to turn that function OFF because the order number with suffix was not getting passed to our fulfillment program or our data reporting app. It was sending a different order number that was not showing up in the Shopify admin. This was creating a confusing mess that was time consuming to parse out. SOLUTION = Uncheck that setting. The canceled and new order won't be related by order number, but now we just write a note in the new order note to link the new order number back to the old order number. - The default setting in the app is to preserve the timestamp of the original order on the new order so the canceled and new order will show up together in the order feed. Again, this seemed like a great feature, but we also had to turn that function OFF because Shopify was using the timestamp date for monthly financial reports, while our data reporting app was using the actual date of creation for the new order. This created problems on the accounting side if an order was created in one month, but edited in a different month. SOLUTION = uncheck that setting as well. I'm still giving 5 stars because if you have the settings right for your needs, the app works really well and helps provide flexibility that we wouldn't have otherwise. Plus, the support has been amazing and they've even made some changes based on our requests.

I have a relatively new store and have been using Edit Order for about a month now. I love it! It really does make the process of editing an order much easier. I especially like the notes it automatically adds to the order fulfillment screens in Shopify which make it great for keeping track of what edits were done to an order. Also, support by the developer has been terrific so far. They quickly responded and clearly explained several points that this Shopify newbie didn't quite understand, even offering advice on how to get accurate sales data reports from Shopify. I highly recommend this app!

Found it pretty useful the one time I needed it. It "uncancelled" an order and created a new one with a similar order number and captured payment. Couldn't bring myself to pay monthly for it though as that use case was a one-off for me. Really should be built into shopify, but if you need the functionality, I wouldn't hesitate to grab it.

This is app is critical to our business. I use it several times per week. We are constantly receiving emails from customers that they need to change a size, or color, or style, or combine shipping, etc. etc. Without this app, I would have to cancel their order and rely on the customer to place a new order. A percentage of these situations would always result in a lost sale, but not anymore. We also offer an option for a customer to send us their measurements & then we will determine their correct size. In this instance the customer checks out with a generic SKU (Style/Color/MeasureForSize). This app allows me to enter the size that we determine for the customer and select the correct SKU in order to keep our inventory in balance. The app also helps me keep track of returns/exchanges. I'm surprised that Shopify doesn't have this built into their product for everyone to use. It seems like a no-brainer home run. I wish that it worked with my Shopify POS + I wish their was an option to send the customer a bill to capture additional funds when an 'edit order' results in an additional charge. (ex: a customer decides to change their order for a less expensive style to a more expensive style). As far as I know the app only allows you to issue refunds, and not request additional funds. *Update after more than 2 years of using this plugin, I still rely on it multiple times per week. -Edit Order now offers the functionality to request additional funds from a customer. This is an terrific enhancement. Thank you! -I would still like to see the Edit Order functionality built into the POS software.

I can tell you why edit order is the best app out there to edit orders. There is always going to be an issue with a customer that will make you want to edit your order and that's where "edit order" comes into play. They also just released a beta version of having the customer pay the difference of whatever you have to charge the customer after editing an order, which in my opinion is exactly what they needed to make this app the perfect app!

Like almost any app, it did not come without its bugs and minor problems. There were times when the search function did not return products and we had to use a workaround to finish a task. But then, there was something that is invaluable when it comes to dealing with software. That is great support from the developers! Andrew, Drew, Tu, and the rest of the team have always been there when we needed them and addressing any problems usually took a day, or two at the most! Sometimes the guys were there even when we did not need them, just checking. Totally recommended app overall, especially if you have to edit hundreds of orders a day! Love this app. Love the folks behind it. We use it to edit orders and are starting to use their latest feature, the ability to create orders. We have lots of phone orders and the Shopify experience does not let us add any properties, which is vital to our business. Edit Order has given us a UI that works. In addition, we had a question and they got back to us right away and were really open to hearing our use cases to make their product better.

1 star because the app will duplicate your sale for the order you edit by cancelling the original order and creating a new order. This would be ok if the sales figures were adjusted too but Shopify's reports do not reflect the correct sales total after the edit. Also, once Edit Order creates a duplicate order in Shopify, there are no options to correct the sales figures or reverse the "cancel" status on your original order. YOU NEED TO KNOW - I learned the hard way that the actual sale and money transfer remains attached to the original order even though Edit Order cancels it. What an accounting mess this app creates!!

2 issues why we have to switch and cannot use Edit Orders further: 1. Edit Orders doesn't carry over the payment history from the original cancelled order. This makes it impossible to integrate with QuickBooks because the integration tool we use pulls in the transaction based on the payment method. 2. The sales tax tables in Edit Orders must be incorrect or not up-to-date. On one of our edited orders the initial Shopify order charged the customer one tax rate, then when Edit Orders revised the order, it overrode the tax rate charged the customer, which resulted in us getting paid out less than we should have from Shopify and our sales tax liability reports to be inaccurate and cause a manual adjustment to be necessary.

I would love to give "Edit Order" a five star rating. The theory of the app is fantastic and my company could really use it. However, I was told that the ability to accept payments would be enabled shortly after I signed up. 1 1/2 months later, still not available but still be charged for the app. I am going to remove the app until they get the payment option on board. This app is the best way to handle the 100% necessary task of editing customers orders. We have dozens of orders every day where the customer entered the wrong size, color, quantity, or even want to switch products. Without this app, you have to cancel the order and deal with the refund, then get the customer to reorder, etc., etc. Some people have complained about this app but what they don't realize is that this is the only way to edit orders. There is no built-in functionality to edit orders in Shopify. The Edit Order app is the best solution available currently. Finally, the tech support is excellent. Any issue we've had (we have a very large product count), they've been immediately responsive and got us going again. 5 Stars - highly recommended.

If I could give no stars, I would, as a business owner we don't need unnecessary costs ! THIS IS A PAID APP, and should work for SHOPIFY customers! Total waste of time, the "edit order" is completely misleading, instead of editing it creates a new order, the same thing that can be done on your own. I tried to edit an order but instead have 2 duplicate orders that I still have to cancel. I also reached out to customer service for additional help, perhaps I was doing something wrong, but instead I was told how Shopify does not allow certain permissions for the app. App developers should find a different target customer base that this would work for!!!!

Simply, it allows us to provide a great customer services especially if they have to exchange, refund, edit, special discount, new order, add products that are not available online, The only one thing that need to be fixed is the discount. Did not work well for us. Every time we edited an order, it screwed up our Shopify sales numbers. Started noticing inventory issues created after editing orders with those specific items (inventory would be wrong). Not sure what was going on. Don't have time to mess with it. It is making more work for us than it is worth. Support said there is no way to get around the sales numbers being wrong after editing an order. I use those numbers for lots of things, and hate that this app screwed them up.

tested... really not very functional. Makes it awfully confusing. And this could be issue with shopify vs with app developer. All edited orders get duplicated. And all things about that order get duplicated, including status, payment, archive, etc. Editing an archived order results in, another archived order. And no way to change shipping status or archive.

The app caused more problems than it solved. Rather than editing an order, it actually created an additional order. Both orders wind up in the shipping que which just creates an opportunity to screw up...especially since they are not consecutive orders. In addition to this headache, both orders show up in your daily revenue even though the original order was refunded. It totally screws up accounting. Do not install!!

Edit Order is an amazing app. Blackpants Workwear sells hairdressing and beauty uniforms and without Edit Order we would not have been able to choose Shopify as an e-commerce platform. Nice app! I don't remember writing this review, but maybe I did; however, let's be real... $19 per month to change a "regular" to "large?" That's basically what it is, something Shopify should have inherently in their cart/software is 2/3 the cost of the entire thing??? I just can't comprehend this, maybe someone else can enlighten me about it? I suppose it's not the fault of the app creators, but again, I can't imagine why they needed to increase the cost? What sort of issues/comments/concerns could come up with this sort of thing that would need multiple support reps and programmers? Add that to the fact it's really one of two edit order apps then I'm puzzled why the $19 price tag. I'm going to try and go with StitchLabs for $29, only $10 more and I get a full inventory app too.

Great! This app addressed our issue with phone orders. Before we discovered it, we had to adjust our inventory manually which was very inconvenient. Now we can enter orders of customers who prefer to order via the phone and maintain an up-to-date inventory.

UPDATE: A few days after I wrote the below review, Mike from Edit Order (new management) contacted me and sorted everything out. He quickly responded to all my emails and questions and even added some new functionality which helps us speed up the manual order process. Very happy with how this app works now. --------------------- We're not even able to access this app anymore, even when we approve the charge of $19/month. No reply from the support desk. This was once a great app at a very reasonable price and it's a shame that all the hard work Ryan (previous owner) put in has gone to waste. We will be looking elsewhere to create custom orders.

There is a change in management for this app and there is no communication ever since this app has been bought out by new management. Now, the new management has become greedy and started charging the basic stores as well a monthly fee of 19$. Sorry! I am un-installing this app as I will not pay so much monthly. Watch out for that May 3rd date as you will be charged from that date and it is no longer FREE. UPDATE : Even when you approve the charge, this app is not working as it is unable to confirm the payment like others said. I had to use it for a couple of days until the trial period is over to fix a few things. In any case, I found Stitch labs app which costs a little more but it helps through inventory and does everything Edit order does and more.. Check it out. I am pretty thrilled to be testing it.

Have never had success with this app. The math never ends up right. Just opening an order to edit and it will say the customer owes some random amount... like 0.27 still due or silly numbers like that. I have had it installed for over a year but now that they want to charge for an app that doesn't work, time to uninstall.

UPDATE - Change in management, change in support, and now charging basic stores the $19 fee? I'm out. This app is a lifesaver and time reducer. We sell on several channels and manually enter orders often. This app makes it easy. We had a recent problem with the sync, first real issue, and it was resolved through live chat in minutes. The app is also constantly improving with each update.

We have used this app and it is a very basic edit order application that did what it stated. It was free and we would use it a couple of times a months on average. But now they are charging $19/month which in my opinion is a rip off. So we deleted it.

The app is a nice idea, but AWFUL. Especially if you use other apps. I use a shipping app to ship all my packages in. When you edit an order, it duplicates the order versus editing it. I was sending out duplicate packages to people due to the way this app works. It does what it's supposed to do, but it will mess you up if you use shipping apps! ALSO, this WILL skew your revenue and daily revenue. Since it creates a new order once you edit, Shopify reads it as a new order. Not worth paying for.

This app used to be great, but now it will not allow me to uncancel an order anymore. I've emailed support five times with ZERO response in three weeks time. For something I am PAYING for, that is terrible customer service. VERY unhappy and will be canceling my app.

I used this app when it was free, and thought it was great because it's a feature that SHOPIFY SHOULD ALREADY HAVE. Now, the app is no longer free and requires a $19/mth payment which is plain robbery. This app is great but it is no way at all worth a recurring cost of $19 per month. It should rather be a one-time paid app for about $40.

Five stars are definitely less for this app, sometimes we need to throw in extra discount for a customer, so we just edit the order and reduce the price as orders are cash on delivery. Secondly we also take manual order via WhatsApp, this app let us create orders on Shopify after we add customers manually.

This app is awesome. It addresses changes to orders after placed, exchange orders and returns. We uses to adjust our inventory manually which was very inconvenient. This solves so many problems and we are able to print mass invoices at one time with a custom look that is extremely easy to setup. I rarely write reviews, but this app deserves it. In addition, support has contacted us twice just to check in and make sure things are running smoothly. A+ all around.

Very, very handy app. For features that should actually be built in but nonetheless they aren't. Excellent tech support (on the weekend) which is good for a entrepreneur running more than one business. Used minimum of my time and did most of the heavy lifting in the background then got back to me by email. Been using the app occasionally for several months now. Went to edit an order today and they suddenly want $19 a month???? I don't use it enough to justify that type of cost and quite frankly - though the app adds additional functionality - it is not full featured enough to justify that kind of price for a casual user. Guess I'll be looking for a replacement and I think I've found one that is less than half the price of this one. I'm testing it now.

Edit Order has been really stellar for our company. We have been using it differently - as a platform for our exchanges. Kinda complicates things haha. However, the guys over at Edit Order have been really amazing, helping us out and doing little fixes so that we can make it work. The level of support is stellar! Definitely would recommend!

This app is powerful, but unreliable. We've been using it several times a week for four months; expect the app to not be working for a day or so every month. The support team usually takes +1 day to respond to reports of downtime and fix the app. Our shop really needs this functionality so I put up with it, but I wish someone else was doing this and doing a better job. They also seem to be billing all users $19/month, whether or not your shop is on a basic subscription, so don't believe their description about their payment structure. Expect to have to request refunds if you install it expecting it to be free, though I'm not sure if anyone's successfully gotten a refund before.

Decent functionality but $19/mo? I only have to edit a few orders a month at most. Paying $6 everytime I need to edit it an order is ridiculous. It's use is not without hassles, it essentially cancels the first order and creates a new one in the system. I can do this manually, but it always causes a headache with our 3PL.

Excellent concept and works well but the application lacks just a few key features. One of those issues is being payment integration. If you add a product to an order, you have to manually process the order through your payment processor. It is an inconvenience to have to process the payment manually. When you add products to an order through this app, we need to be able to process the payment through here. Another feature is when we modify an order, it cancels the order and creates another one. For example, we modify order number 20189, order 20189 is cancelled and the app creates a new order 20189-A. When we modify an order, we don't want the order cancelled and a new one created. It is an inconvenience to have to delete the order from the administrative dashboard. One other thing to add, the application is a little confusing and is not as user-friendly as it could be. The changeable settings are a bit scattered across the screen. It should be cleaned up a bit to better understand the changes being made. With these couple features, you have yourself a five star application.

Edit order is something we've all been waiting for. The only challenge is billing a customer for more than their credit card has been authorized but I understand why that is that way. Shopify did a great job creating this app as a result of listening to their customers.

I am loving this! For me, I love that it will keep the order clean. If you add-on to an order, you no longer have to "remember" to add it later or make notes. This replaces the previous order with the new one. You collect money owed from the payment processing system you use, PP, invoice, ect. Love love love.
