Terribly buggy. User selecting allow all cookies was setting consent to deny all (verified in browser console). As a result, we had virtually no visitors cookie'd, choking off our Meta data flow. Additionally, the do not sell/share data box didn't work right (again, as verified in browser console).

I had an issue with the cookie consent icon displaying too large on my storefront, which didn't fit my minimalist brand aesthetic. I’ve had a very poor experience with this app. The cookie banner previously stopped working on my store for over two weeks without me being aware, leaving my site effectively operating without proper GDPR consent in key markets and breaking conversion attribution for my ads. Support eventually acknowledged the issue after I had to compile extensive evidence myself. I was told I would receive refunds and lifetime free access, yet I later discovered I had still been charged for months afterwards. Most recently, the banner has stopped showing again and appears to be marking all visitors as declined, which completely breaks conversion tracking. For an app that is supposed to handle compliance and consent management, reliability is absolutely critical. Unfortunately my experience has been the opposite.

It breaks your entire website for Windows 7 - Google Chrome Users. Do NOT use. And when tech support supposedly "fixes" it, they don't tell you they left the banner on. So you might lose a bunch of your traffic without knowing. Utterly ancceptable.

i was reading the GDPR requirement and from what I gathered, for the cookie banner to be compliant, it must have an option for visitors to select which cookies they permit. i found this app and another that had this functionality but decided to go with this one because it displays very nicely on the site. i ran into a minor issue and needed some adjustments regarding where the privacy link was showing up. Die Idee hinter dem Cookie Banner finde ich gut, ebenso die Funktionalität. Leider kann man die Einstellungen nicht korrekt nicht korrekt vornehmen. 1. Als Shop-Besucher ist es zu 90% unmöglich im Pop up die Cookie Kategorie anzuwählen die zugelassen werden soll. Wenn es möglich ist, ist es eher Zufall. 2. Die “Necessary Cookies” sind gar nicht einstellbar und in den Einstellungen in der Spalte “Necessary” steht überall “No”, was nicht sein kann, Es ist mir nicht gelungen eine Kategorie zu erstellen, die NICHT abgewählt werden kann, also “Necessary” ist. 3. Wenn diese Funktionsfehler korrigiert werden, wäre es ein ziemlich guter Cookie Banner, jedoch ohne die eigentliche Funktionalität spezifische Cookies zu verbieten oder zuzulassen, ist der Banner aktuell nutzlos für mich.

So I installed the app and immediately had problems with it retaining my inputted values. I contacted customer service and received a prompt reply. They fixed the issue I was having immediately! The app is easy to set up and fulfills the GDPR and California's requirements and also gives me the option to not have that pop up appear to get cookie permissions from the rest of the world. They also have a timer so that once the cookie policy is accepted, the permission is retained for a time period that I get to choose. It's simple but does it's job well.
