The Evey support staff is super helpful to go out of their way to resolve our issue. Our issue is pretty complex and requires Evey staff to reach out to shopify billing department and actively follow up with them. They have been doing all these for our case and followed through until the issue is resolved. As soon as the issue is resolved, they notify us right away. The support experience is one of the best I've ever had.

It works pretty well - I think there are things I don't know how to do or it dosen't do - for example if I have a 2 day event I just schedule it for one day because if not it seems to want to bill for 2 days.

I originally left a 1-star review, but after spending more time with the app, I wanted to update it to better reflect my overall experience. I started on the free plan to evaluate whether the app was a good fit for my business. One major frustration was that the admin panel allows you to configure recurring events while on the free plan, but it doesn't make it obvious that customers cannot actually purchase tickets for those recurring events unless you upgrade. From the admin side, everything appears to be set up correctly, which led me to believe it was fully functional. I spent nearly 10 hours troubleshooting, lost an entire day's worth of work, and missed out on customer sales before finally discovering that the limitation was tied to the free plan. I believe this restriction should be communicated much more clearly to prevent other users from going through the same experience. My second criticism is the lack of live customer support on weekends. If you're running events on Saturdays or Sundays, that's when you need help the most. Unfortunately, there is no live support available during those times, which can be stressful when you're dealing with ticketing issues. That said, I also want to give credit where it's due. The app itself is outstanding. After trying nearly every ticketing app available for Shopify, I genuinely believe Evey has the best feature set and the most polished product. Once everything is configured correctly, it works extremely well and offers capabilities that many competitors don't. In my opinion, the software deserves 5 stars, but the communication around free plan limitations and the lack of weekend support bring my overall rating down. If those two areas were improved, this would easily be one of the best Shopify ticketing apps available.

2026.06 New update: For my small events (under a 100 tickets) this app works well however I just went through my two biggest events of the year (450 and 650) people and the apps just kept signing me out. There is no way on mobile to get quick help so I emailed and their AI auto closed my request. 2 days later someone reaches out to me which is utterly useless - I pay them thousands and thousands of dollars a year but when I have a big event their check-in apps failed by constantly logging out. Delayed out event start by 40 minutes. Wouldn't recommend this app for any larger event and I will be looking for a new ticketing provider.

This app is wonderful for our semi-annual pop-up events we host. The ticket products are easy to set up and when set up correctly, they collect the all the information we need for our events. The check-in process is easy and customers like the ease in pulling up their tickets when attending the event. The only complaint I have is that I have to disable the Shop Pay feature and the Apple/Google Pay/PayPal options for my WHOLE ONLINE & IN PERSON store while I am selling tickets for my events because this app does not support dynamic check out systems. When these are not turned off, tickets can be sold but no customer information is collected. We unfortunately figured this out after we had sold over 180 tickets to our 300 ticket event, so we missed gathering customer data on all of these tickets. In addition, disabling these features for the rest of the business for the 5-6 weeks leading up to our events also has a negative effect on our business flow. This would be my only complaint for this app. Lastly, to end positive, the help feature and customer support is always wonderful and we have resolved any issues quickly if and when they do arise. A little more app development on the dynamic checkout side would allow me to give this a 5 star!

Llevamos varios años usando la app. Nos es muy funcional para eventos presenciales. Para actividades en linea me parece muy caro y dejé de usarlo dado que la mayoría de actividades son gratis. En eventos grandes si es sumamente funcional ya que varias personas pueden escanear al mismo tiempo, la app es muy facil de usar y casi no comete errores. La función de envio a mensajes a inscritos es estupenda por que tiene más rating de apertura que los mailings.

Really bad experience! The tickets are not sending to customers! And Evey has no human support over the weekend, where most events are happening! The custom email service provider feature is not working and if you try to set it up, you then cannot reverse it to the default which results in notifications not going out, which means none of your customers will receive their tickets. We need a human to reset our Email Service Provider to the app default, and we cannot wait for Monday to talk to a Human!

Editing my review Apparently events are still available for purchase after event date has past. Evey thinks its totally acceptable that busy small businesses have to go and check "draft" after each event (we have about 8 a month) so customers cant then find and purchase just floating events that arent connected to any date. This is a fundamental flaw in an event platform. Once an event date is in the past, the event is over, and should be neither visible nor available for purchase. I'm being gaslit into believing this is acceptable, but its just bad design. This app started off pretty decent, but experiencing glitchy things with recurring events, times posted, visibility in the app - and now this. I hope they will fix this flaw.

Works well! I have hosted 50 + events using this platform with little to no issues. The only main issue i have occassionally is that the app needs time to sync with shopify so sometimes an event appears as sold out until it is finished syncing. Other than that Evey has made my company a lot of money through hosting meaningful events! 9/10 would reccommend

We have been using this ticketing system for several years. To clarify, this is not a false claim — we are providing our website for verification. Our site, Jnbglobal.net, is integrated with Shopify and actively used for ticket sales. However, this issue does not occur occasionally — it happens every single time when a large volume of orders comes in on ticket opening day. When mass orders occur, tickets are often not properly delivered to customers, and bulk ticket dispatch does not function as expected. As a result, we receive an overwhelming number of complaint emails, to the point where normal operations become paralyzed. If this system error is not improved, it will inevitably lead to a loss of trust in the ticketing platform. While we can understand this happening once or twice, this situation repeats every time, causing significant operational difficulty. Additionally, when customers purchase multiple tickets and transfer one to a friend, the queue or ticket number changes, which generates further complaints. This also requires immediate improvement. Transferred tickets should retain their original numbers. Please modify the system so that original ticket numbers remain unchanged after transfer. We strongly urge you to address these issues promptly to prevent further disruption and damage to platform credibility.

Evey allows us to reach out to attendees in an automated email. We've sold tickets to over 20 events so far. While wrestling with an Evey issue late last night, I reached out to the AI bot. It offered assistance that did not solve my issue, but then it offered to let me speak with a human to offer further help. The first thing the next morning, Rolando offered a solution that did not require additional fees or upgrading to solve. The Evey team always responds quickly to solve issues.

(1) Ticket fees get lumped into the price, it does not break them out as separate line items (2) selling via POS does not work for recurring events (e.g. museum admission) because there is no way to choose the event date. Evey acknowledges that POS integration is broken in their knowledgebase (3) The workaround is to go into the order after the fact and assign a date, but it's a hassle and easy to forget/difficult to enforce with the front desk staff.

We were initially excited by the features this app promised. However, we've encountered many issues and have wasted countless hours trying to get to the bottom of them. We've not seen any improvements to this app since joining, only features breaking. We've experienced issues stemming from Evey involving ticket transfers removing the date info from courses; email template functionality breaking; an issue where British Summer Time has not been factored into Google Calendar invites, meaning customers could think their course starts an hour earlier or later. Courses can be oversold due to the way the front end works. On top of that, customising the course PDFs is very bare bones, and we were only able to add in a course description, image and logo through coding, something to factor in if you were planning on using this feature. It's a shame as this app could be very good with some fixes and TLC, but it feels like a half finished project.

I've used this app since 2015 for a big event with lots of attendees, and it has impressive functionality, because we are able to edit the code on our shopify to limit quantity limits per customer etc, and other things that other ticket websites dont offer. its a bit unreliable though - the developers weren't updating it for a while and it was difficult to reach them back in 2016, and then it worked really well for a few years - and for the last 2 years something breaks and its a little slow to get support. but for now it seems ok and its the best i can use so im sticking with it!

Their platform is the best ticket platform in the marketplace. The app works effortlessly and it is easy to use. They have a Check-In app for live events that is worth the subscription alone. DO NOT USE THIS APP!!!! I will use every breath I have for the rest of my life telling people Evey ripped me off. They charged my card over $300 in one month and I never sold a ticket. When I brought it up to Shopify they informed me that this app was the reason my account kept being charged. I reached out to the company and pointed out the error. They AGREED to refunding me. Then, didn't even do it. DO NOT USE THIS APP. There are other apps on this platform with better customer service and much cheaper. They definitely will not charge your card when you never even sold one ticket with them. These people even told me how much they would give me back in a written email and never did it. DO NOT GET SCAMMED like I did.

Look elsewhere. Set up was easy but their app crashed multiple images on our website. Unfortunately we had already sold multiple tickets and so have to keep the App installed until the event and try to work with customer service to get a fix. Their customer service is non existent, weeks of 'checking' or 'escalating' all whilst their app was ruining our website. The issue is still outstanding whilst we go through multiple different customer service agents, none of whom actually do anything to help. Avoid.

We used Evey for an huge event, and took the biggest paid plan - but MANY times the app just crashed, and all the tickets went sold out, this has happened many times, and customer services promises every time that i would not happen again.. Customer service is not helping with anything, and just send you articles.. If your event is serious, I would recommend to NOT use Evey! UPDATE: I talked with u guys 4 or 5 times, and everytime u said it was fixed, but we had to find the error again ourself.. And now we also have to pay for the free tickets we created, because a SUPER bad guide! same as before, we recommend ALL serious business to NOT use this app

Have been using Evey for more than 1 year now. The features are easy to use and works pretty perfectly. However, the charges are extremely high. Which forces you to think of switching to another competitive plug-in. Few features like scheduling events to draft, or scheduling virtual meet links are still not functional. Overall, its a good app to work with, provided they consider of reducing their transaction fees.

This app WAS good... until now. They have implemented a change that forces a filter by month - if we don't have an event on in the current month, it just shows as 'no results' and looks as though we have nothing upcoming. The filter isn't obvious to customers - we've noticed a large drop in bookings, and been given overwhelming feedback by customers that it's not user friendly, having to go month by month until they find what they're looking for. SO so disappointed... with no plans to change it, we'll be looking for an alternative.

Priced well and works for most of our needs, though there are some flaws in the UI that inhibit functionality and haven't been resolved after reporting them 14+ months ago (can't add user from a mobile phone because the chat button blocks the Send button, as another user review reported below). We also struggled with custom uses like multi-date events where we want variants listed on the Shopify product page but don't want/need a full blown calendar or date-picker on the page, or want pricing to change if they choose more than 1 date, but we are slowly figuring out workarounds. Overall it's a good app for the pricing and their customer service is typically responsive within a day, even if actual issue resolution takes longer.

Sadly, although they show signs of promise the Ap and the Customer service is slow. Known issues they haven't resolved for some 2-3 months: #1 - Can't send attendee messages - we've been told this is disabled because of spam. We need to do this regularly to send out information before an event. They've said, "we'll fix it soon" #2 - The dang purple help window is in the way of a key button that allows you to execute a command. No matter if on mobile or desktop that help window blocks a critical save button - we've told then and gotten no response. #3 - Slow server. So we have multiple dates that need to be selected, often the calendar takes too long to load (even with exceptional wifi) and our customers select an option without a date - which then doesn't create a valid ticket and a lot of extra work. #4 - Attendee lists are not searchable as indicated with search bar. Multiple people have tried in a list of 100 to find their name and it does not search properly. There are more issues, I just can't name all the ones not resolved. This ap is probably ok if you don't ask anything of it. But we used to do something like 1000 tickets a month with them and it's been lots of extra work on our end, thus making it more expensive than other similar aps. Our experience is based over a 2 year period

We have been using Evey for 9 months, and we use it for a very unique use case for selling travel tours and packages (not event tickets). We knew that we would be pushing the platform to its limits, and Evey app managed to get us this far which is great. Evey Customer Support Team (Ron, Mary, and Hannes) have been incredibly helpful and responsive to our queries. We realize that our use case is not what Evey was built for, so we appreciate the team trying to help whenever possible. Overall, we recommend using Evey for the following reasons: 1. Easy to use app interface 2. Relatively fast loading of the datepicker component on your event page 3. Responsive design of the event calendar popup whether displayed on mobile or desktop 4. Covers many use cases for events and ticketing. 5. Custom tailor-made app for events Overall, we are happy with the software and recommend it to anyone looking for a robust ticketing solution. There are definitely areas for improvement, but those are specific to our very unique use case which is not applicable to 99% of potential users.

It's worked very well for selling tickets to scheduled classes I offer. And if I've had issues, customer response was SUPER quick. I needed a calendar view for my website, and the ability for customers to pick pre-scheduled dates/times. This does it all and it looks nice too. There are a lot of little details you don't realize you need until you start putting this together, so give yourself plenty of time to set things up and test, test, test. Once I got everything initially set-up, its been easy to to add classes to my schedule.

we used evey for a charity event. We were first time users of the shopify platform and added evey. Once we got used to shopify and learned how to use evey with ticket sales, it was super beneficial. The support staff at evey was way above our expectations and they even offered to get on a zoom call to explain how the platform worked. The evey check-in app also works surprisingly well. The only issue we ran into (very likely because we didnt set it up right) was a handful of people claimed they never received their tickets. The good thing was the evey check in can still be used to check guests in just by searching their names.

First off, if your business runs on high value events, this is an invaluable tool. The cost of the app justifies the means. For us, we run daily, low cost events that the surcharge eats heavily into any profits and bumping up daily prices is unrealistic. Also, the exponential cost to use POS integration makes the integration unattainable. The scanning ability does not work well with at-the-door purchasing or purchases within 15 minutes of the event. It takes a while to catch up with the app. With all that said, it is the easiest to operate and modify. We did have one display issue that arose with recurring events but it seemed to have resolved within 24 hours and support was responsive. It plays nicely with other apps you may have and doesn't try to reformat templates like some other apps. I just wish the costs associated with the solutions were more integrative and effective for businesses like ours.

This is our second year using Evey and hopefully our last. This app is SO buggy. Bug after bug. Whether it's problems with the check in app or QR codes won't scan or data importing with crazy formatting problems. Brutal. I was manually updating info the day before the event. Last year we were able to have additional data points added after the fact to our check in (like tshirt purchases and waiver info). This year customer service would not do it so we were forced to check in using multiple paper spreadsheets. The fact that there's no data import funcationality is brutal.

The app is GARBAGE, I'm 90 minutes from the start of the event and the validation and service is completely down, I can't access the app from Shopify and customers can't see their tickets. Nobody responds to this urgency, you are disgusting.

This app has been a game-changer so far for our company! Prior to this, we were using Excel sheets to monitor and check in our guests with different ticket types. This caused so much confusion, frustration, and was extremely time-consuming. With Evey, all that hassle is eliminated. It's easy to create and merge existing events, upload event attendees, and customize their tickets. The Evey team is extremely helpful and responds in a timely manner to questions. As a dance instructor, this app has made scheduling classes easy. Ticketing for my dance workshops is seamless, too, since you can use an Android or iPhone, while most apps require Apple devices. My theme recently did an update that was causing issues with the app. Ron was quick to respond to all of the questions and concerns I had.

If you are looking for a way to sell tickets on your Shopify Store, look no further. You can customise absolutely everything including tickets, and Apple Wallet 'passes'. In addition to this, the support is just incredible. They will even go as far as fixing complex problems themselves, or send fully personalised videos that talk you through rectifying the issue. The whole thing from start to finish has just been an incredible experience. Huge shout out to Ron for all his help getting everything up and running.

We used Evey to sell tickets for our 2000+ attendee event in Dec 2021. It worked very well, our front-of-house staff commented on how well the app worked at check in. As organizers we appreciated the event dashboard, managing attendees, seeing sales, and creating tickets was reasonably easy if you have a basic understanding of Shopify. We needed Evey to adjust our theme so we could work out timed-entry ticket variants and email support was super responsive and very effective. They are based in north america which is a huge plus. My client has a series of events (45 events/sessions over a month of dates, with different ticket types and times) Evey has been able to accommodate this, and without commission charges has delivered better value and flexibility than previous solutions. Whilst the events haven't yet taken place, I've evaluated the 'check-in' app, and have no doubt it will be perfect. The Frosty Festival started using this app to sell tickets about 5 years ago. This app allowed us to switch from in-person ticket sales with "old-fashioned" tickets to online and in-person sales. Our customers enjoyed buying tickets online and we really enjoyed being able to see who purchased tickets, being able to re-send them their tickets, and being able to manage and download the lists.

We have been continuously overcharged by this app long after we have stopped selling tickets for our events, and as the app will not load for us, we are unable access it further to address the issue. I have had this app for a year and our site is selling tickets online. The app has suited our purpose with delivering tickets and reporting. The only problem is when you need support from evey event it takes weeks until they respond. When your selling tickets you need a quick response. When I first purchased the app they were very quick to respond. It would be nice if there were other apps like this on Shopify so there was a bit of competition.

Good, but missing features that would make it great. Evey has definitely reached a minimum viable product, but sluggish support with a lot of "No, we will take the into consideration..." makes me wish they weren't the only company doing this on Shopify. Maybe some competition would allow this to be a truly dynamic Events plugin. Importing CSV functionality is pretty bare bones. Would be nice if you could download a template spreadsheet fill in the columns (including custom fields) and import. The supplied custom field functionality for the cart page was a nice addition, but doesn't go far enough by also including this custom field functionality to the manual attendee option. If you take registrations offline and need to collect more attendee information than Name/Email/Variation Type, you are at a loss for a solution. Also the check-in portion of the app seems to serve little or no additional purpose other than gauging attendance. You cannot add info to the guest at checkin, which would be a huge addition here, although I understand that might be an edge case scenario. With a lot of manual work this plugin will temporarily work for our Race Event Services, but with over 5 events going at any given time $100/month seems like a fairly steep price to pay for a product that doesn't fully streamline my attendee processing.

Great App that mostly take care of everything. However, when numbers start to grow (7000+ attendees - Karukera One Love Festival), things can sometimes get messy (attendees export, ticket types, mails sent) 2 main effort points : => Checkin app (but hey, up to 1000 attendees, it should work fine. For our case, after the firsts tests, we went on a custom solution on this point) => There is no mail tracking / dashboard (when sending the attendees tickets) The support is also reactive, when you manage to catch their attention. But, for 20$ a month / event, it's really worth the money

I've been working with Evey for about two years and have found it to be an excellent solution. Gets you the best of Shopify (with its considerable strengths) with the added support of event management. The team also helped configure a custom solution for a large-scale conference. While custom builds can be a little rough... (I consider ours a beta), the Evey team have been incredibly responsive to create precisely the manager we asked for, with very friendly support. Do not use this app if you plan on running a efficient, seamless check in for medium to large scale events. (3000+) The app is full of bugs and errors, constantly kicking back 404 errors when checking in 1000's of people. We had to reset our devices CONSTANTLY to log back in and try and get them to work. The server that the check-in service runs on is terrible slow and unreliable. The customer service is nearly non-existent. Absolutely bring a print out of the attendee list beacuse you're going to spend half your day checking in people manually, on a piece of paper. I seriously recommend finding another app unless you're running a tiny event.

If you need an app that will support your events with tickets, THIS IS THE APP TO USE. It is very easy to use, works very well with Shopify, but most importantly, the customer service is very responsive. I have used Evey for almost a dozen events and almost every single one of my events have gone smoothly, without any hiccups. However, I recently had an event where I had a question that I just couldn't figure out and they hopped on it! Levin and the team worked to get it corrected and also to educate me, which is so important. And the check-in app for mobile devices works flawlessly, which makes it incredibly easy to staff as many ticket scanners as I need for events. . . . My standards are relatively high and I don't write a lot of reviews, and I certainly don't write a lot of 5-star reviews. EVEY EVENTS will take your events up a level and your operational stress down.

I managed two stores. the first few events we ran worked fine. The setup was painless. However, one event keeps every day drops the number of tickets available, to match the number that have been sold. So the store shows it sold out. Problems come up with every app -- however the response from the developers has been abismal. To my initial cry for help I got a single response and they fixed the problem for the wrong event (which didn't have the problem at all) and then, I accidentally discovered -- in the wrong store. by accident I discovered I have two events that i did not create in the wrong store that I can't delete. Wierd things can happen with all sorts of apps. Responsive service is what makes the difference. After my events are done, i'll be looking for alternatives to Evey.

Another example of how they do not help. We really wanted to work with them but NEVER got a call or email from Evey.

This company is excellent. They're software is good, but the Customer service is fantastic! We had an event that our bookstore manager accidentally deleted 1 day before the event and it was completely gone. I emailed their customer service at 7pm the day before the event and they had a way for us to access the information by 10pm. After hours... customer service! That's what makes a great company. I suggest that they make it more difficult for an event to be deleted, but when it comes to responding to concerns, they are absolutely on the ball! Thanks EVEY!

If it were possible to give Evey a ten star review, I definitely would. We're an autism non-profit, and we host events throughout the year. When I emailed the support team with questions, they emailed me back within minutes. When I explained who we are, and what we do, they offered us a free subscription, allowing us to use more of the money we raise to help families affected by autism. We run an event services and ticketing company - imbibedenver.com - and we use and love Evey. We switched over to Evey and found the app missing a few features we really needed. After a previous app never responded to any requests we made, the crew at Evey responded within minutes, and implemented our requests within hours. Ever since then, they've made updates, fixed bugs, and worked with us and our weird schedule to ensure the product adapts to our needs every single time we request help. Beyond that, the app works great for our event needs. We sell tickets at various levels (GA, VIP, etc), and Evey handles this wonderfully. The ability to edit email templates per event is an incredibly useful feature. The check-in abilities are great, allowing for QR code scans or a simple will-call experience. Overall, we're extremely satisfied with Evey, and become more so every day.
