Our NYC based business has been utilizing ByteStand MCF Shipping for 6 years to automatically forward orders to Amazon for MCF fulfillment. Amazon picks, packs, and ships our FBA inventory to Shopify customers seamlessly. The app works perfectly everytime. If we need assistance (a rare occurance) customer support is friendly and a real human. We highly recommend this app.

Our Canada store has had ByteStand installed since 2020 and the app automatically sends our Shopify CAN orders to Amazon for Multi-channel fulfillment. Amazon picks, packs, and ships our orders so it's one less thing we have to worry about. ByteStand also helps us show real time shipping costs (even free shipping) and shipping timeframes to our customers. ByteStand's US based team is human and very responsive - they help us syncing new products to shipping and are so so helpful when we have any questions.

For an improvement, I would add a plugin so the shipping address automatically validates with Amazon's restrictions. An Issue I have is some clients go over the 60 character limit and I have to manually shorten the shipping address so it passes through

We've connected our German Amazon account to Shopify through ByteStand. Sending our EU orders automatically to Amazon for MCF fulfillment. We also use Rules by ByteStand to block specific orders from being sent to Amazon and instead letting our 3PL ship larger orders, to save money. The app sync our inventory from Amazon to Shopify automatically and the Virtual Bundle feature is helping us translate our product SKUs to ensure Amazon ships the correct products. As our product SKUS in Shopify are different than their Amazon SKUs. Plus, it's nice that the support team is US based, human, and responsive!

What an excellent customer service! We are using ByteStand MCF Shipping to ship Amazon stored inventory to Shopify customers, without the customers knowing Amazon is involved. ByteStand is connected to Amazon USA allowing calculated shipping rates to populate on Shopify Checkout, blocking amazon logistics, and Amazon packaging from being used, and also syncing inventory from Amazon into Shopify. We've connected Amazon Europe & Canada to our Shopify store with ByteStand in order to send specific orders to Amazon for MCF fulfillment. The order delay feature allows us to edit or cancel orders before they are sent automatically and the Virtual Bundle feature translates Shopify SKUs into their Amazon SKUs. This allows for the product SKUS to stay the same in Shopify but ensures Amazon ships the correct FBA product. We also use the Rules feature which helps us send only specific orders to Amazon for fulfillment.

I originally had another MCF app installed starting with W but the app looked awful, there was no instructions on how to set up, and the customer service was incredibly bad and pushy once I said I wanted to move off the app. ByteStand wins in every way.

We’ve been using this app for several years and can give an honest review. Pros: Excellent customer service. Cara is fantastic and very responsive. Reliable order fulfillment, with rule-based logic (our warehouse first, then Amazon if out of stock). Cons: Pricing feels unfair as it includes draft and archived products. We have ~1,600 active products, but with archived/draft items it’s over 4,000, which pushes up the monthly bill. Would benefit from a dashboard showing products without sync settings. Bulk updates aren’t precise enough, as you can’t change inventory/price without also altering warehouse location. Overall, great app with top-notch support, but room for improvement in pricing and product management tools.

We have been using ByteStand ever since Amazon discontinued their App and our experience is outstanding. While the app is super user friendly and easy to use, when we needed a bit of support or had any questions we would get an answer within minutes including suggestions on how to improve and make things more effecient. Not only that, they keep adding features that are included for free which gives even more value for the product. Orders didn't show up at first, and when I finally got one in, the fulfillment failed due to a vague "Invalid Rate Name" error. It took several emails and a custom troubleshooting video from support to figure it out. ByteStand's support rep, Cara, was helpful and responsive. Still, it's telling that store access is often needed, which suggests the app is not designed with ease of use in mind. The interface also feels clunky and outdated. It makes navigation harder than it should be. Important settings like "Flex" and rate mapping are buried in confusing menus, and there is no real dashboard overview or SKU table to give you confidence that everything is working properly. Then there's the pricing. The app looks like it starts at $25 per month, but it only includes basic fulfillment with fixed manual rates. If you want core features like inventory syncing, which should be standard, you must upgrade to at least $40 per month. It adds up quickly. The pricing structure is not transparent; other users have pointed out the same issue in their reviews. Ultimately, I removed the app. If you're a large store with technical resources, it's worth the setup time and extra costs. But this probably isn't it for small businesses looking for a smooth, affordable solution.

This is the app. Get this one. It works really well and the customer service is on point. There were a couple times Amazon changed something up and they needed to update the software. Sometimes that meant orders could not be shipped during that window. Each time this happened the company was upfront and transparent about the change. Since the implementation of the latest update (known as FLEX, launched May 2024) our store has been broken - orders not being filled automatically, orders being marked as rejected in Shopify but actually processed in Amazon leading to duplicate orders, and our non-Amazon fulfilled orders no longer being fulfilled automatically. Staff I interacted with seemed nice and tried to be helpful, but in the end it's still broken and the result was "this is Shopify's fault, not ours, so nothing we can do about it. If you're a simple store shipping in one region and only using Amazon for fulfillment, then this may work for you. But if your business is slightly more complex, sells products in multiple countries using multiple third parties for fulfillment, then this product in its current state will not meet your needs and may interrupt the non-Amazon automations you have. We're exploring other options.

Let me start off by saying that I didn't mind paying $85 a month for this app because of the customer service. There are many apps on here that are much cheaper, and Amazon even has a free one! I'm a very busy business owner and dealing with customer service agents can be a very time consuming task. Cara is great! The problem is, she's not always there. She will be there on chat, but when chat's not available you get this other agent named Todd. He's rude, condescending and quite unwilling to help. It's a complete 180 from Cara. I'm not sure if I'm going to continue using the app, but if I don't, it won't be because of Cara. Why would anyone want to spend their hard earned money with a company that treats their customers this way?

When I installed the app I had a lot of setting issues in Shopify and Amazon that were preventing things from working. I used 2 apps before trying ByteStand. Bytestand works great, but I have to say they're BEST asset is their customer service. Setting up a connection with MCF is not trivial and there are a ton of settings to change, and their customer service literally walks you through everything, sending you screenshots and even doing the adjustments for you if you want. Stellar service and app, will definitely continue using!

this app is not transparent about their pricing. I had to spend a lot of time using it before i could figure out how much it was actually going to cost me. It the end, this app would cost me 4x the price of other apps i've already used, that do the same thing. Frustrating because it's just a waste of my time. Make a good product and be transparent. Pricing is only visible once you’re connected everything and spent time setting it up. It took a long conversation with the chat agent to even figure out the costing. “Starting at 25$/markletplace would” might be a transparent way to communicate. No need to obscure the pricing. It just makes you look bad.

The app is fairly easy to install and configure. Once setup it works without much management at all. Our store uses subscriptions where orders are generated automatically by a third-party app and I had some trouble figuring out how to configure this. ByteStand is the easiest way to connect Shopify orders to Amazon fulfillment, period. Amazon offers their own fulfillment option but it is limited and Amazon support is not great. UPDATE The 90 day free trial was a promo made available by the company, I was not "given" it as a gesture by them. Seems like they're annoyed that offer existed! The company's response exemplifies the attitude you will experience. Check out other critical reviews to for much of the same. No response on the bugs either, so I guess that should say enough! ---- Cara is a wonderful support rep that's conscientious and hard working, any issue we ever experienced that she could help with was resolved by her speedily, with care & true professionalism. Unfortunately, I cannot say the values of the company. We rolled past our free trial by a total of 4 days over the holiday period and therefore fell into a paid period. After experiencing a few bugs and gaps in the product we had already stopped using it, we asked for a courteous refund but the company refused even though it's clear we'd stopped using the app before this date from our usage logs. Bugs & holes include: - inventory update feature not correctly updating which cost us a few days in sales as it would keep marking products out of stock - painful in Q4 - unable to remove markets from billing without the developer - pricing updates only match list price, not sale price of amazon listings - made this function impossible to as the primary function is to match up Amazon sale pricing to shopify store Ultimately given we didn't use the product for those 4 or so days & one of the paid features didn't function correctly throughout, it would have been reasonable of the company to refund. I would be glad to remove the negative areas of my review if this can be resolved. I'm not sure that $100 is worth souring a relationship.

Customer service is INCREDIBLE. In general, customer service for apps is nonexistent but they are always so helpful here. Pretty intuitive app, works seamlessly with Shopify settings. As a larger store shipping ~100 orders a day with a mix of FBA and manual items, we used Shopify Plus flows to automate the fulfilment of the FBA orders only, still allowing us to manually fulfil orders. Overall, I think Bytestand offers great integration between Shopify and Amazon FBA shipping. Bytestand's customer service is timely and helpful. Note: If your Shopify store receives Facebook orders for FBA items, don't expect automatic Bytestand fulfillment to occur due to the way Facebook places a temporary hold on their orders. Currently, you will need to manually request Bytestand fulfill these items after the hold is removed. I discussed automating this workflow with Shopify, who indicated they would pass along an enhancement request to their engineering team.

Live human interaction (what a concept) with an intro demo walking you through the entire setup process. Cara - was incredible and available post demo! Their step-by-step video makes for an easy install. Since Amazon dropped the MCF App ByteStand's picking up a ton of new business. I noticed that you have to be sure to include two new fields in the Bulk Editor step: "Track Quantity" (do this first) and then "Fullmennt Service" fields - in that order. We were scrambling to find a solution after our native Shopify/Amazon FBA integration suddenly stopped working, and we're happy we found Amazon FBA Shipping! Cara was super helpful in answering all my questions prior to setup, and even during setup I was able to schedule basically an on-demand virtual call so I could ask her more questions. Can't beat that level of service! We also decided to go with this app because it allows you to decide if you want to configure products for FBA OR FBM shipping. The other apps recommended to us (e.g. Cedcommerce) did not allow you to distinguish the two, and operated on the assumption that every product in your Shopify store was FBA, regardless of the fulfillment settings you set up in Shopify. Needless to say, we're relieved we found a solution and definitely recommend going with Bytestand for your FBA integration needs!
