I’ve been using this app to manage digital products and it has made the whole delivery process much easier. We recently required an enhancement to support EU digital sales and they implemented the feature in only a couple of days. I really like this app, it's fairly priced, works reliably, when I've reached out to support they've been helpful. The downside for me is I really want to see an API built so I can automate the upload of my items, the CSV method just doesn't doesn't cut it. I've asked a few times but the response has been lukewarm. Ultimately because of this I think I will end up having to develop something in house that meets my needs as I spend more time uploading files than I do on any other aspect of onboarding a new item.

Sowas habe ich noch nicht erlebt. Und das in 100% positivster Art und Weise. Der Support war so gut und schnell, dass ich erst dachte ich werde gescamt um mal ganz ehrlich zu sein hahaha Also ich kann es zu 100% jedem nur empfehlen, der digitale Downloads anbieten möchte. Die Funktionen sind umfangreich, man kann alles einstellen und wenn man es nicht kann, macht der Support das für einen. Und mal so nebenbei.. ich habe nur den Free Plan und die sind trotzdem da so hinterher so gut zu helfen wie es nur geht.

I had an issue adding variant sales options this morning so I used the handy live chat button. After a couple of minutes wait I was connected with Shashi who worked on his end to fix my issue. I was able to continue to use Shopify by navigating different pages without losing the in-progress chat session on the Filemonk app. It's the best live chat experience I've had, other companies live chat kicks you over to an AI response which then doesn't go anywhere. Il y a eu juste une petite embrouille lors du paramétrage: On me propose de paramétrer le bouton de téléchargement sur la page de remerciement, je n'ai pas encore eu 50 commandes, donc cette option est à paramétrer mais ne fonctionne pas. En conclusion, Digital Downloads - Filemonk est une excellente application, celle que souhaitais pour ma boutique.

So far this app has been easy to use and works well. Once I attach the file to the product advertised for sale, I do not have to do anything else. When a customer purchases the product the file is sent to them instantly. I tested it out by buying one of my products using a different email address and I received the file. So far I have not received any complaints from my customers so I feel assured that they have received the digital products that they purchased as well. I will definitely recommend that everyone selling downloadable products give this app a try. There are different levels of plans you can get and the prices are reasonable.

This is a GREAT download app! I started on Shopify using Shopify's Digital Downloads app, but then they stopped updating it and had to search for an alternative. We used Big Digital Downloads, but found most of my customers emails were being filtered, it was hard to resend download links, and then the links began getting blocked as spam. Very annoying! I reached out to Filemonk to check that they used another system for managing the links and getting the downloads to customers. Very impressed, very easy installation and now when a customer doesn't have a download, I can easily copy and paste the tracking link within the order - OMG! SO EASY! - so I don't have to go hunting through the app to find stuff. It's all right there in the customers original order. The only thing that I'd love to see improved is a way to see a product and list of all of its variants with the file name next to them all on one screen. This would allow me to double check on products that have 12+ variants that I've selected the correct file to go with each variant properly. I found it a little clunky at first when working within that type of product. Overall, I'm absolutely delighted with this app and wish I'd switched to it years ago. Thank you for making a great product!

Mine is a gift product, an album of music for very young children, sent as a download and it looks rubbish and amateur. Particularly compared to the sleek Shopify look. Please please improve the download page or give developers access to the files so they can customise. Also not having the ability to bundle as a single download file is not ideal (have to download each file individually). Make a purchase and you'll see what I mean. Hope this feedback was helpful.

In just one day, all clients are unable to download files as they are flagged as 'infected.' We're now receiving more and more emails every hour from clients concerned that we may be spreading viruses. This issue is a significant setback for our company. Currently, the app is unusable, as even we are unable to download our own files. UPDATE Thank you, Sandesh, for the thorough explanation and for addressing the issue with such detailed insight. We’re glad to see that significant changes have been implemented to improve the app’s security. For now, we’ll keep our rating at 3 stars, but if things run smoothly over time, we’ll consider updating our review. In the meantime, we’ll continue testing to ensure our clients don’t encounter any further upload issues. We appreciate your proactive steps and hope this leads to a more reliable experience for everyone." UPDATE 2 It's been a week and all the problems have disappeared, it seems that the newest updates were truly needed for it to happen. I've been really pleased with this app! The support is brilliant, they answered within minutes (I just had an issue with DKIM authentication) and they solved my problem within the hour.
