Beware. We discovered goaffpro affiliates were hijacking Rebuy and existing discount codes and utm parameters to lay claim and attribution for sales from customers already on our email and SMS lists so there is some very fraudulent business going on here and goaffpro knows it- we advised them and they did nothing. We paid out over $20K in fraudulent "affiliate commissions". They did nothing because they make a portion of that money too.

Not recommended for serious brands in the US market. The app lacks basic fraud protection against coupon leaks and automatic bots. It allows coupon aggregator websites (like Honey) to easily scrape codes and hijack regular customer sales, forcing you to pay unfair affiliate commissions. There is no active or quality marketplace to find real influencers. A total waste of time and ad budget.

I like the app itself, and I believe the team does a good job - provided the issue doesn't go beyond what is covered in the documentation. Unfortunately, customer support has ghosted me and isn't responding to inquiries. This is a real shame, as I would have loved to find a mutually beneficial solution and establish a long-term partnership. I even told them they could simply let me know if they weren't interested in working together; that would have been perfectly fine, too. Perhaps customer support struggled to put themselves in the customer's shoes and realize that not everyone is a software developer. From that perspective, I can understand why a conversation might have seemed more challenging than expected. However, in my view, handling such situations is precisely the job of customer support. I’m giving two stars because simple inquiries are answered quickly and helpfully. That said, ghosting a customer is a remarkably disrespectful way to behave.

We've been using GoAffPro for a few months now and find it user friendly. We began using it to launch an Influencer program but are currently adding in our Email partners as well, and are able to differentiate between the 2 groups. Part of the appeal is the easy integration with Shopify & Klaviyo, but the reporting features and dashboard provide the information we need (haven't played around to see how deep we can get with stats). We are also about to launch the Refer a Friend feature. Support is terrific, I always get a response within 24 hours, usually much shorter than that.

Statt sich auf die Klärung des Problems zu konzentrieren, wurde ich mehrfach per E-Mail aufgefordert, meine Bewertung zu ändern oder zu löschen, mit dem Hinweis, dass diese meiner Marke schaden könnte. Das habe ich als unangemessen und unprofessionell empfunden. Aus diesem Grund kann ich die App auf Basis meiner Erfahrung nicht empfehlen.

They are very robotic and just paste links to their help articles. Generally, I've already reviewed those and need a deeper explanation. Instead of providing the explanation in a different way or adding depth, they simply copy and paste what is written in the article. This has happened on multiple occasions. They also ask for my URL EVERYTIME. Is that not associated to my account when I ask for help? Honestly, the terrible support makes me want to reconsider using the app entirely. Good luck getting any questions answered that are beyond the scope of a pre-written, generic support article.

Managing affiliate accounts is clear and efficient, and the ability to set commission percentages per product (not only per affiliate) is a huge advantage that many apps don’t offer. What really stands out is the level of control and transparency: as a merchant, you can track everything in real time, and affiliates have access to the same clear data on their side., also on mobile app !! ATTENTION FRAUDEURS ! J'avais installée l'application et ne l'ai pas vraiment utilisée jusqu'au jour où j'ai reçu un mail de leur part me disant qu'un affilié avait amené un client. Faux ! Il s'agit d'une fraude, un client étranger (mon commerce est hyper local), m'ayant volé l'argent d'une commission sur un client qui était déjà dans ma boutique. Seul le support Goaffpro peut aider et empêcher ce paiement de commission mais je ne suis pas certaine de leur retour à l'heure actuelle. Prévention et pour ma part je ne ferai plus de programme d'ambassadeurs. Trop risqué pour des petits commerces comme le mien. Très déçue et énervée.

Update on 8/31 2023 The customer support Melanie is very unhelpful and the way they talk to us seems they are the boss and can ask you to do anything! Their report is very inconvenient, they cannot allow you to do a custom report that contains all the data, which is completely understandable because nothing is perfect! But their attitude to this really upset me, Melanie said it is a good suggestion to improve their app, but it is not their responsibility to send this to their tech and asked me to write an email to them again about this! I mean????? No matter if you will take my suggestion to improve, but I already told you this, and you are not communicating or submitting this inside your teamwork? If that's the case, let me know, I will make my business somewhere else!

BUYER BEWARE!!! Unless you truly understand this app's functionality, you might wind up with paying affiliate commissions to people who are trying to scam you! I inquired about an affiliate's claimed orders because I wanted to learn how I determine whether these orders were a result of the affiliate's actions. Here is what Goaffpro told me 6 days later: "This affiliate was found to be cookie stuffing and was hence suspended from the platform. You don't need to pay suspended affiliates. As they have been found doing this in multiple programs. They have been blocked platform wide. Usually affiliates who engage in click frauds, cookie stuffing etc. are proactively suspended from the platform to protect our merchant partners." Sounds to me like the app developers need to work on security measures to help protect their merchants. I am very disappointed. There needs to be more transparency.

The app itself is very useful and convenient. However, I recently encountered an issue with my email. The email account I have linked with GoAffPro to send affiliate emails started bouncing messages back since last week. Strangely, when I use the same email to contact other customers—including my own Gmail—it works perfectly, with no issues sending or receiving. I reached out to GoAffPro support through their chat window and followed their instructions to email their management address, but I never received a reply. When I asked again why I hadn’t heard back from their technical team, they said the technicians would contact me directly. Yet they kept insisting they never received any of my emails. I even tried sending from three different email accounts, but their only response was arrogantly saying it must be my problem. Meanwhile, I communicate daily with my customers without any issues at all. Both their support and technical staff came across as arrogant and impolite, often rushing to end the conversation. This makes me wonder if Chinese sellers are not being treated with the same respect as others. Unfortunately, this app does not work for us. Despite all our marketing efforts, it appears not fulfilling our purpose. Our business is over controlled by them. All of our marketing materials and digital assets are connected with their domains. That makes it hard to promote our own brand. We believe there is a better one out there that can do a better job instead of paying for this software that basically does not perform well. It is also too expensive for small business owners. We do not recommend it.

After using the app for longer, having 100's of affiliates we had issue's with some of the platforms functions and attribution. They claim its due to our google ads that sales are not attributed, which could be true but: A: We didn't make any changes in google ads for months and suddenly a ton of sales got 0 commission because of google ads B: They refused to even help / think with us and simply didn't respond| C: They refused to offer any sort of solution or help us think through how to solve it. Overall we lost a lot of good rep with our affiliates, GoAffPro left us hanging and was quite snarky / non-helpful. Would not recommend. We have the most expensive plan so dont expect much support.

The marketplace for Spanish influencers is not curated. Usually invites are ignored by the influencers, or they send you to an agency which is wiling to make promotion in exchange for an additional fee. After playing around with it for a few days, I was easily convinced to get the premium subscription, because it offers so many features that it made sense to add the app to my shopify store. On top of that I love that I will never have to worry about paying more if my referral program grows to 10 or 100000 affiliates. And we are not on the free plan, we started with the Premium plan from the beginning because of the functionality it was supposed to provide, but this is just not working for us. **UPDATE 05.29.25** After seeing our previous review they did eventually respond to us. They did fix the issue we were having with the integration but there are still issues with the email. All of the affiliate emails are returned with delivery status notification failures.

The GoAffPro app offers a good level of flexibility and customization. However, there are several frustrating issues that greatly diminish the overall experience. Firstly, the default email notifications cannot be edited unless you upgrade to the premium plan. Unfortunately, the default Japanese translation in the app is so poorly done that **all texts require complete rewriting**. As a result, for Japanese users, the free plan is essentially unusable. I even offered to provide GoAffPro with a flawless Japanese translation for the email notifications — something that would benefit not only my business but also other Japanese shops. Instead of considering this improvement, they chose to push me toward subscribing to the premium plan. What’s even more frustrating is their customer service. Responses are often unprofessional, unhelpful, and lack basic courtesy. The support team repeatedly provides the same tutorial links that don’t address the actual issues. They seem either unwilling or unable to understand the problems at hand. Additionally, changes are made to the app without any prior notice, and previously customized templates are frequently reset to their default settings — causing additional inconvenience. To make matters worse, customer service replies do not include the name or contact information of the representative, making it difficult to hold anyone accountable or follow up effectively. Overall, while the app has potential, its poor support, lack of communication, and unstable functionality make it hard to recommend.

In other words, when you compare feature-to-feature, Goaffpro is in a class by itself. From setting up the login and sign up pages, to the easy and intuitive interface, to all the settings you can set up as far as metrics and data is concerned, Goaffpro stands out above all the rest with glaring fanfare. The Goaffpro is the top affiliate app on th App Store. Period. As far as customer service is concern, the responses are always fast and swift. They're always online, and they always solve any issue I had within an hour. Thus, the customer service is phenomenal. Lastly, this review is from a hard critic. I tried several affiliate app, and found this one be the best. I have used the free version for many months now. It has been working well. I don't use the referral fee payment function, because I would like to pay my affiliate through other method like Zelle. It is a little complicated to record manual payment. Each time I need to play around quite a bit. Look like the app offers a lot solution and automation, probably too complicated for my business. It is like the learning curve is a little too deep for me. The customer service is great. I just asked my first question using their chat function. The response is immediate, by River, and I quickly get the answer. For this, I give this a five star. I have not started a serious referral program yet, but plan to do so sometime this year. I am still hoping to use a simple one with simple interface. In the meantime, I will spend more time to learn Goaffpro, and decide which one I would like to go and purchase the upgrade from the free plan. Will update later.

GoAff has always been an excellent tool for managing affiliates. Their support team has consistently provided quick responses, whether through chat or via email. However, over a year ago, we encountered an issue where affiliate links stopped tracking sales. We attempted to resolve the problem, but unfortunately, no solution was reached at the time, leading us to rely solely on coupon codes. Recently, we’ve had the need to work with affiliate links again, but the solutions GoAff offers now do not address the core issue—they only mask it. Additionally, the email support has become extremely slow, with more than two weeks passing without a response to one of our requests and several weeks without a resolution to an ongoing problem. We are quite disappointed with this situation, as it has negatively impacted our ability to operate effectively.

I'm beyond frustrated with this affiliate program. Imagine my surprise when I found out that unapproved accounts could generate and share discount codes with the public! It’s completely absurd—how can they have access before I even approve them? But what made this even worse was the response from customer service. Instead of addressing the real issue, they just told me to turn off the automatic discount code feature. Seriously? That’s not a solution! They never even bothered to explain why these codes are active for unapproved accounts in the first place. It's like they didn’t care about actually solving the problem. This is a huge red flag for anyone who wants control over their affiliates. The lack of accountability and poor customer support are absolutely unacceptable. I regret trusting this program and strongly advise others to stay away! Reply on 9 Oct: Your response is missing the point entirely. You claim that pending accounts can’t see their dashboards and therefore can’t change or access their discount codes. But that’s simply not true. Pending accounts are able to change and share their codes, even though they haven’t been approved yet. I’ve seen this happen firsthand, so claiming they don’t have access isn’t addressing the real issue. The main problem here is that unapproved accounts can still use and modify codes. Telling me to turn off automatic code generation is just a workaround, not a fix. Why are these codes active for pending accounts at all? This flaw undermines the whole approval process. Stop deflecting the issue and provide a real solution. Brushing this off like it’s not a big deal is not the kind of support I expected.

GOAFFPRO did for us what no other affiliate app we could find would do properly - and at a better price than any of them. Free for all of the major features, and just $30 for all of the stuff some other apps charge $80+/month to do (and even percentages of commissions). GOAFFPRO was the first app we tested out of 6 that could properly record affiliate link purchases when using regular checkout, Shop Pay, Apple Pay, and Google Pay - something you'd expect everyone could do, but no. Interface and customization is not as fancy as the most expensive alternatives, but it's supremely usable. This is our choice moving forward.

Highly customizable app for any affiliate program. The free tier has so much to offer. This was the only affiliate app on Shopify that I could find that allows you to customize the referral link URL params per affiliate, and allows affiliates to link to products with a url param, which in the long run will be a huge boost to your SEO and backlink efforts. A lot of the other apps point to an affiliate URL to capture the referral. Love the ability to import and export sale data from previous apps and their customer service team has been great. It may not be the flashiest backend, but the app is incredibly powerful and flexible.

I have had an ongoing issue where a new affiliate's referral link is showing up in the banner at the top of each page on my boutique. This is a new affiliate and since she joined us this has been happening. I have repeatedly asked for assistance in getting this resolved and let them know that I entered my boutique via the back office / admin area of my boutique yet they continue to say that I clicked on her link when that was not the case. I wasnt even in goaffpro. The support you get when trying to resolve an issue is horrible. They dont even read your messages. They have just continued to say that I used her link when that was not the case. There is an error somehow with the app that they refuse to resolve. I have been asking for help with this for 2 MONTHS and it is still not resolved. Im about to remove the app and go to one where you can get the support you pay for! This has been a nightmare!

Set up was incredibly fast and smooth. Amazing how great the customer experience was. Only complaint is that using the goaffpro domain for the affiliate portal (using my domain is only available in the paid offering) triggers a Chrome Safety Warning that is confusing and will send would-be affiliates away. Update: I requested help from Support and Anuj was timely, articulate and provided the solution. My experience with GoAffPro has been excellent. I'm a #customerforlife. Update Jan 2022 - I needed help with deleting some discount codes and Support was quick and explicit about what i needed to do. Another plus! Update Dec 2023 - Again, Support has helped me with some additions and refinements to the app on my site. GoAffPro - big thumbs up!

Just downloaded and set up this app, this has been the easiest app I have ever had to set up on my shopify. Once you choose the button upon download that says you dont know anything about the app, they literally walk you through step by step until each step is complete. There was one portion I had confused my self about and used their support , and was blown away at the instruction and walk through I got . It was so quick and got me through my issue in no time!
