It’s great to get images quickly optimised. But BEWARE. After days of work optimising all the alt descriptions manually, this app wiped out all my hard work and rest it. So although it was great in the beginning, it’s actually ended up costing me days of lost work and effort. Totally gutted. I would suggest only loading this app if you are intending never to optimise the images yourself. OR immediately uninstalling it once you’ve let it do the initial optimisation.

Works as advertised. I asked for a new feature to distinguish multiple images for a single product so they don't all have the same alt text. This way, Google would know they are different. They added the feature in less than 24 hours. Great.

Does what it's supposed to do - I heard Shopify's Director of Product discussing the functionality of this app as something they would like to offer in the future on the "Shopify Masters" podcast, but this app offers auto-generated Alt text already. Too bad it can't also pick up on images added to the description. Other than that a great app and a great price.

Truly a life saver. It helped me add Alt Text to at least 3000 different photos in less than 15 minutes. This would have taken me weeks. UPDATE: Learned that the alt tags are updated daily, checked and it works perfectly. Great app, saves me a lot of time! Highly recommended! I have hopes but it is not working as I hoped. Waiting to hear from support. It fixed all images but appears to not do anything to new photos/listings? I add all the time, I need something that updates them as they are added. Will update my review if this issue is resolved.

I've been using this Alt Text App for nearly 6 months now. This is a great app that has saved us an extraordinary amount of time. Alt Text is extremely important for various reasons and we have more than 10,000 items in our store. Writing Alt Text manually and maintaining the Alt Txt with newly added items would be a full time job and very expensive. This app has been invaluable and so easy to use that literally a 7 year old child can setup the template and automate the work. I highly recommend this app. I also ask one question on how to check the Alt Text - I got a response back very quickly so the support / help was also excellent. Thank you.

I installed this app, it wouldn't load or do what it was supposed to. I thought it was deleted. Then, I was charged $1.99 a month (I thought I had no apps with recurring fees). When I didn't pay the $1.99 bill (which I was unaware of), Shopify froze my account during the holiday season and I lost a day of sales. Since, I have received multiple emails from this company asking me to change my negative review, as it's "unfair to them." So I'm changing this to a neutral review, as the app did not work for me, but I guess it works for other people.

I just started using this and it took a little while because I do have a tons of products. This was such an easy install. You literally do nothing. Just wait for everything to be fully done for you. I am giving it 5⭐This app is the best! I have been using it now for maybe a week and it did exactly as it says. When I first had an issue they were instantly handled the next day...mind you if they don't get to you right away it is because they are in another country so put that in mind. Time (and morale!) saving app which works a treat. Get it before they put the price up. I must have wasted days of my life copying and pasting text into the alt tabs, but it was worth it to see my images rank well in Google images. My images are still ranking just as well, the app works perfectly...it costs almost nothing per month...let it do the mind-numbing work for you! I'm now giving this app and the team behind it 5 stars as I reached out to ask them to make changes to the app to allow for variants in the alt text which they did. I can't fault them. My original review "I'd love to give this app 5 stars but currently, it doesn't support variant images so if like me you have products with multiple colour options each image is given the same alt text, not see to favourably by Google. I have contacted the developers and I'm hoping they will update the app for variants too, when this happens I will not hesitate to change my review. They were very good at answering my questions"

This is awesome for every product I list that has an image I have add alt text to them and If I 7 or 9 variant of a product I normally go in and add alt text to all of them for SEO but this saves me time and eliminate a process that i dislike and save me time.
