We run a leather handbag store and use Joy for our loyalty program. The earning and redeeming rules are flexible enough to build a sensible ladder of rewards, and the Ways to redeem block on the cart page makes redeeming obvious to customers instead of hiding it away inside a widget. What earned the five stars is the support. Alyssa and Sonny replied within minutes, recorded short videos showing exactly what a customer sees at each step, went into our theme and added the cart block for us, and spotted that we had filled in the wrong field on one of our programs before it could do any harm. If you are weighing up loyalty apps, this is a team that will not leave you alone with the documentation.

REAL TALK FOR SMALL BUSINESSES (Not Ai generated, so excuse my lack of eloquence): If you're considering using this app or paying for their services, let it be known that I was hesitant at first. I am not a large company by any means--just a solo artist building a brand alone. The money I make is valuable, so I need to know that something is worth it before committing to yet another subscription service. Needless to say, I think most business owners know how important a rewards program can be for customer retention and increase in sales. I took a chance on Joy--first utilizing their free version. There was a learning curve, but their interface is pretty user friendly. Eventually, I realized I was going to want to use a couple features that come with their lowest tier subscription. They offer a 14-day trial on this, so I highly suggest taking advantage of that and seeing if it's a good fit for your needs. Lastly, I have to mention the outstanding customer service the Avada (Joy) team has provided. I reached out for help even before I upgraded to a paid sub. They were quick to reply and answer all of my questions. They troubleshot all my issues (which were not many, but naturally come with the level of customizing I am doing on my site) with great efficiency. I really appreciate that they prioritized getting my rewards program up and running with the encroaching deadline of my website launch. While some features may not be available or possible with their app, they do have a voting system for their clients and developers to further improve their app. TLDR; They Joy loyalty rewards app is 100% worth using even at its free tier. Their customer service team is not only EASY to reach, but also reply within minutes and will work quickly to troubleshoot any issues you may have. Highly recommend 10/10. -Charity B. I have had so much frustration with this app, things are constantly broken everywhere, support not fixing the right things, they would randomly change how my discounts works, resulting in high amount of unexpected orders with redicious discounts, and the amount of blame-shifting is unbearable, instead of fixing the issue, they blame you for the mistake. On the bright side this app does have the most comprehensive features based on what I researched compared to other loyalty apps.

Original Review Nov 16th: (updated below) I spent $1000 USD on a joke. the customer service is nice enough and tries, but what kind of system can't even calculate the number of members in a membership tier correctly and the search bar for the customer list page doesn't even work. Seriously, I don't even know what to say. I'm willing to change my review if things get fixed but i'm honestly just so frutrasted right now by the amount of time I've wasted on getting basic things done here. Nov 24 - Update: After 2 weeks of back and forth with the team, the majority of issues have been fixed. I did hope for an easier onboarding process though, it might have saved everyone a bit of grief, but I 100% want to acknowledge to how responsive the team was and did try to be helpful, and for that we are definitely appreciate of. We just launched the programme last week so we'll see how things go. Jan 28 Update: Whilst the basic functionality is working, we are currently working on the email notifications and we've noticed some issues. - Notification email previews are not able to show us what a customer really sees. It only shows placeholders, which is concerning because it means there is no way to test if the email is set up right and will be send correctly to a specific email because you can't preview for specific profiles to check.

really good platform. Before i install this i tried 3 other apps. Other apps providing free plan but everything is limited if we try to change a single option i will ask to subscribe, but compare to that this app is really good. For the free plan also having enough features and 150 monthly allocation is enough to scale our project to take decision for the subscription. I had one customization because i setup a bottombar in my site but the floating icon overlap it. I open the chat option at late night 2 AM. But Abby replied instantly but mot only the reply within few mins they fixed me the issue. Really satisfied.

Hana is great and helped me set up a lot of things with the app. For example, css text in the background for widget spacing, merging contacts from Yotpo, etc. The app took 5 hours to fully set up well. So far no glitches. I sent a text to some customers today and asked them to check out the program and not one customer complained about their experience (I sent the text to 500 people) and several people used their points to place purchases today so that app is already generating income. It's nice to have an app that's easy to use, fast support, and works without glitching. We will see how it pans out over the next few months but as of 2 days in, it's working as intended, much better than Yotpo (sorry Yotpo).

i installed this app in my shopify store few months back after tested more than 4 loyalty apps. Really it have great funcions very satisfied perfeormance. Normally the previous used apps are manual reedem options like convert to coupon and withdraw. I found some apps that having mutomatic function to setup reedem for particular product or direct checkout reward but they are huge price or sales percentage based commision. But joy loyalty program satisfied my requirements with fixed cost efficient way. The support team also more faster responsive.

They claim you can migrate customers. However, per Mirra in customer service all my customers have to purchase - again, than they will be given the opportunity to sign up at that point. So There is no incentive for current customers to perform the tasks needed to gain points if they have to sign up & do not get credit for past purchases. Very different than having a migration option where the customer will have points assigned based off their past purchases and be alerted, that they have these "free" points and they can earn more to get to enjoy benefits.

We started to use JOY Program and it's encouraging more customers to purchase. The points system is encouraging, customers can later redeem their points for discounts.
