UPDATE: The devs were incredibly responsive and have implemented a solution! I haven't yet been able to try it out, but the speed with which they took this seriously was IMPRESSIVE! Old Version of Review: This app -seemed- amazing! Unfortunately, it groups by product name, not product ID. This means that if you've ever changed a product name (like adding 'Organic'), it will show those as separate products - making most data incorrect. Nearly all apps at this point have a product grouping feature or an ability to choose what aspect of a product to go by (product name would never be the right choice, product ID or SKU would). Lifetimely needs to figure that out ASAP, especially with it's high price point compared to its competitors.

Great tool but calculates LTV wrong. I love all the different ways and plug ins but currently it doesn't let you calculate LTV on a cohort basis on a Contribution Margin 2 point of view, this is how most investors look at it so you will burn your hand presenting any of the Sales or Gross Margin LTV tables. Basically the Gross Margin LTV table does it on Total Sales not Net Sales so it includes Tax/Vat which makes no sense. They do have a Net sales table which we had to use to work it out ourselves on a CM2 level. Kinda strange they would have this wrong. Rest pretty good and customer service fast / helpful (and agreed with us on the above point).

This is a review for the lifetimely amazon add on (which is as expensive as the shopify plugin). While the shopify Plugin works quite well, the amazon plugin is just buggy. We are in contact with support for months, they promised they fixed it after we canceled the plan and then being right back at buggy land... Would be nice to have your analytics in one place, cause the shopify version works quite well, but I think we are going shopping somewhere else...

STAY AWAY FROM AMP!!! AMP’s strategy is buying great apps with fair pricing and turning them into sh***y apps that they charge an arm and a leg for. You can disregard all previous positive reviews—most of them are from when Karri (the founder) was still running the app. Luckily for him, he sold it (hope it was a good exit), but for merchants, it’s been a catastrophe. We’ve been getting inaccurate data from our Google Ads and Amazon ad spend. Honestly, I can’t trust this app for our daily numbers anymore, and we’ll be switching to another solution. The price isn’t even the main issue. The real problem is the support. I’ve had to open 30 chats and send 10 emails just to get basic issues addressed. Back when Karri ran the app, he had a solo coder from India who was a machine—he’d fix my issues in 5 minutes. Now, it's just bloated bureaucracy. They’ve likely overhired people who have no idea what they’re talking about. They’re asking me for hundreds of screenshots just to even begin looking into a problem. And it’s been 20 days since I first reported the issue—still no resolution. I’m paying them $600/month because of their volume-based pricing (which is a rip-off), and they’re treating me like crap. Under Karri, I was paying $30/month and getting fixes in minutes. I’ve spent more time arguing with them than actually working on my business. I’m done—I’m switching to something else.

Now that revenue tracking by source is so far from accurate, even with server side tracking and first party pixels, this is the only 100% accurate source of truth. Great tool and easy to use, must-have if you're using cohort analysis. Have done it the old fashioned way with excel and this is so much better. Can pivot/ filter off anything you can think of (any tag in shopify, utms, product/ sku, discount codes, etc.). They have amazing reports for customer LTV, but anytime I've experienced a technical issue, it results in me not being able to access my dashboard, making it extremely difficult to run our business. It's a shame when you become reliant on such a great tool, and then get left in the dust with only email support that never gets back to you. 5-star Shopify apps have live chat support or phone support, or at the very least get back to you within 24 hours via email. Neither of these exist. May have to looking into a different LTV tool if this issue doesn't get resolved.

Excellent app all around! We use it to analyze our ad campaigns. Without a good LTV analysis filtered by specific campaigns, you don't really know what your long term performance is. With this app you can pull a cohort report, filtered by customers whose first order contained a specific SKU (or you can use other ways to filter those customer cohorts). I was looking for a Shopify analytics app that could help us managing three shops in one dashboard. After testing almost all apps with these capabilities I can clearly say that this one is by far the best option for our use case. Things that were important to us are 1) a combined (consolidated) dashboard with useful metrics. 2) clear and easy navigation, 3) product information that gives hints, when to repurchase certain products. Also, from what I tested, this app allows to enter very detailed product and shipping costs that are easy to understand and to configure.

Lifetimely is amazing! I love how easy the reports and the visual data is to read. Unlike other data apps, I can show my team this data, and they can actually understand it. The data points are super helpful, like breaking everything down between new and returning customer comparison reports. My favorite report is the income statement. Some features I love are the ability to filter out wholesale purchase data, and to put in operating costs (as custom costs), and see the Net Profit because of it. Super helpful.

We do cash-based accounting so the P&L feature of Lifetimely helps us view the books on an accrual level. I love the daily reports so I can see our exact profit for each day. Lifetimely came recommended as a solution to understanding LTV. I've come to understand that instead of chasing LTV, which is a tough metric to nail down, you should focus on the lifetime value in a given period amongst specific cohorts of customers, 6 months, 12 months, 24 months. Lifetimely does that, and it does it well! And, it allows you to factor in all of your costs so you can measure true ROI rather than ROAS. The platform is easy to navigate, the knowledge base and videos make it even easier to understand what you're looking at, and their customer support is very helpful. I highly recommend this if you want to understand what your actual customers are worth and even break out the value of customers you acquire from different channels, etc. Fantastic!

We were working too hard to export customer and order information from Shopify, then to manipulate it further in Excel -- both time consuming and frustrating if the results didn't match monthly numbers!! With a simple API connection to our ad platforms, Shopify, Recharge, and Ship Station... we're able to obtain and interpret data in a MUCH simpler, more meaningful way.
