I migrated my Products, Categories and Reviews from a 13 year old ZenCart store to Shopify using LE. The process was complicated by ZenCarts requirement that the Large images are stored in a folder images>large. This large image is needed in Shopify as the main image, and what is the main image product.jpg in ZenCart's main images directory is actually the small image for category listing. LE had to write custom code to get the large image imported as the main image, and the main image not imported. Confusing and LE should have known this as this is ZenCarts default setup, so I'm deducting 1 star. The company is very responsive and accommodating, I would not hesitate to use them again.

Overall we got all our data migrated but it did take a lot longer than expected. We had a huge amount of data to migrate with a lot of formatting that needed changing which they handed well and made sure we could test before they imported all which give us peace of mind. There were errors which they were able to correct quickly. There were some miss communications and some unexpected added costs. A lot of unnecessary emails which made thing slightly confusing but they responded quickly. There was some data that they couldn't migrate due to the data being linked with an app.

Great support from LitExtension. I accidentally overwrote product images after the migration, which left most products missing additional images. Ben identified the issue straight away and fixed it with a custom re import. Even though it was my fault, he handled it free of charge and made sure only the images were updated. Ich habe LitExtension für die Migration unseres Onlineshops von WooCommerce zu Shopify verwendet und bin insgesamt sehr zufrieden mit dem Service. Die Migration umfasste eine grosse Datenmenge (Produkte, Bestellungen, Kunden), und das Team hat den gesamten Prozess sehr strukturiert und zuverlässig begleitet. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich den Support – die Kommunikation war jederzeit schnell, freundlich und lösungsorientiert. Ein grosses Dankeschön an Blue Nguyen, der uns während der Migration unterstützt hat. Anpassungen und kleinere Probleme wurden jeweils rasch geprüft und behoben, was den gesamten Ablauf deutlich erleichtert hat. Die Migration selbst verlief grösstenteils reibungslos, und auch bei komplexeren Anforderungen (z. B. Metafields) wurde aktiv nach Lösungen gesucht. I had a very frustrating experience with this migration service due to unclear pricing, inconsistent answers, and critical information being disclosed only after payment. Before purchasing, I asked a very simple and direct question: If I migrate the store myself under the base plan (~$69) without add-ons, are customers and orders included? I was initially told yes — customers and orders are default data and not add-ons. After payment and during the migration process, the story suddenly changed: I was told I needed to pay extra Then told I needed to upgrade my Shopify plan Then told I could avoid upgrading Shopify only if I buy their “All-in-One” package At no point during checkout or before payment was it clearly stated that: Shopify plan limitations could block customer/order migration Or that an additional package would be required despite being told it was included When I asked where this limitation is disclosed in their sales or onboarding process, there was no clear answer — only apologies after the fact. This feels misleading and unprofessional. Critical limitations and costs should be disclosed before payment, not after a customer commits. If you’re considering this service, clarify everything in writing beforehand, especially regarding customers and orders — otherwise you may face unexpected upsells mid-migration. Very disappointing experience.

Overall everything was done to my satisfaction but it took much longer than expected. They are clearly operating outside of the US and unless I happened to be up in the middle of the night I was only able to get one email back and forth to them each day. I had a great experience with the migration of my Squarespace store to Shopify. I worked mostly with Felix who is attentive to detail, thorough, and answered all my questions. My migration included >300 customers, >400 orders, 120 products, and migration of blog posts. The cost was well worth my time, especially due to my lack of knowledge in this space. We moved from Shopware to Shopify. After a few demo migrations (without costs) and some mails and costumizings we get all data to our new shop (articles with picture, variants, orders and costumer). We were on the Wordpress / WooCommerce platform and had built up a small but steady customer base so we when we moved to Shopify it was imperative that all this data was preserved intact. We needed the data to be accurate for accounting purposes and so we didn't lose any important customer information. Our first contact was with Ashley who was brilliant and learned what we needed, was very pleasant to deal with and a great communicator. We didn't have to wait long for replies which is quite important, because with sensitive data one doesn't want to be left hanging. Ashley also fielded questions extremely well. Once she knew the extent of what we wanted we were passed over to the technical guy Ben. Ben took care of the data migration. We had a transition period of around a week while we were working on the new site while keeping the old one running so we had a data overlap. Once we were fully live on Shopify he helped migrate over that overlapping data. Ben is also a very proactive worker, and a timely communicator like Ashley and answered all of our (sometimes naive) questions, kept the process running and never dropped the ball. We are very happy with the result and our team has inspected the data and its all intact. All in all a great experience. Great result and well worth the money. I would highly recommend them.

Great service start to finish. From the very first demo migration to the last quality check, the team at LitExtension did a wonderful job in assisting us all the way. We mostly worked with Ben, who was able to find solutions to migrate the data items from our old store that were unique to our business into easy-to-find and easy-to-use data items on our new Shopify store. We definitely recommend the All-in-One Migration if your store has a high number of data sets (e.g. thousands of orders/customers) and unique items (e.g. expiry dates, country of origin, dimensions). The only thing that was somewhat challenging is the time difference since we are based in Canada and the LitExtension team is based in Vietnam and support is usually provided via email only. We wish there was an option to set up calls every now and then to make communication a bit easier/quicker. With that being said, we are still glad that we found LitExtension as we can't imagine being able to complete the data migration of our store without them!

I have 480 products and I have to open up everyone and fix it. THIS WAS A COMPLETE WASTE OF MY MONEY. The app claims it is a US based company. It is not- The work is being done in Vietnam and communication was difficult because of language barrier and time zone. In addition they wanted full access to the square account which is something I was very uncomfortable with. I provided the access to the items I needed transferred, but they wanted full access to the entire account and my double verification for log in disabled. As a result we cancelled the service and found someone local to assist. This was a waste of energy and time. Per your reply- in the description of the app in the Shopify App Store it’s states it is a US based company. Thank you for refunding the payment. I was unaware would would have to grant full access to ALL my information when all I needed to migrate was inventory.

We had to migrate our shop from a platform that wasn't well known or easy to migrate. It was SQL based and used asp to render the products. We had been using this product for close to 19 years and finally had to make a change. With several thousand products and around 4000 customers we had no idea how we were going to pull it off. I found LitExtension while searching migration apps. For a very reasonable fee they migrated all my products, including photos, and all our customers. The customers even had their order history migrated. They kept in constant contact and were also very patient with us as we needed to get the products over and fine tune the items that had more then 3 variables. We didn't want the customers brought over till we felt the products and the look of the new site was where we needed it to be. It honestly was a very smooth migration. Jay made every effort to make sure the mirgration of my Japanese website from BASE to Shopify's platform was a complete success. I was concerned that working across websites with two different languages (Japanese and English) might cause some problems, but Jay was able to migrate everything exactly how I wanted, even changing details like the formatting of names on Shopify to match Japanese customs. While we live 12hrs away from each other, Jay worked late so that we were able to communicate at the end of his day, and I would have mine to test the site and check things. I can't imagine the process being any smoother, Jay's technical skill and helpfulness made a very stressful transition completely easy! The migration works very well. We migrated from prestashop to shopify and it worked very fine. You have to be very careful if you are not planning to launch your site soon after you migrate because they can ask you for a new fee the next time you want to migrate, the time you have and number of times you can migrate is not very clear. Other than that, it is a time saving. Also, their support is very fast.

Very bad work done. I must work for hours now, or hire someone else, to do the work this company promised and never deliver. All Categories were NOT moved. The support is in Vietnam. They charged over 500 $ for moving a shop from Shopware to Shopify with 12.000 orders 20 Products and 8.000 Clients, and of course the Categories. They did not even moved the AGB's. I was migrating my shop from Volusion to Shopify (of course one of the sites that doesn't migrate easily to Shopify) and the customer service/chat people at Lit Extension were a HUGE help. I would say if you're moving from Volusion to Shopify to be aware that gift certificates, discount codes and customer email preferences didn't migrate over- luckily I was able to get the 4,500 customer email preferences updates through LitExtension, but not the other things. I did use the self-migrate option, because it was supposed to be simple, but as is everything with Volusion, it was not, so maybe if I used the more expensive option they would have been able to do that for me but I worked with what I had and we FINALLY are up and running.

Did the migration in around May. Process: easy to use you select the cart and destination. error: I have thousands of products and it did not migrate right the first two times. On the last (3rd), the products were uploaded but the subcategories did not so I was unable to use it but my help time expired. (Note this all happed around covid high time so those extra months no one was in the office) I was unable to use my Shopify site due to this. I just spoke to a rep on 7/6/2021 and was finally told that it does not upload the subcategories . Not I need to find the 3rd part to do this as I was not told the first time. Asked if there was a discount at least for a migration to re-upload files. and none. it give it a 2/5 due to the fact of lack of information the first time around and it could have saved me lots of time. Also if I was told about sub categories the first time and was not being charged the full price the second time as the first time made it unusable.

Without LitExtension, it would have been impossible to migrate our old e-commerce site from Prestashop to Shopify. Everything from basic customer service to technical support is flawless. I highly recommend them. I am a graphic designer and I am working for a food retailer, handling marketing for the store. I am not a web expert. I had done some web design work, but not involved in development and web mastering. The toughest challenge was to migrate the reward point service, because our version of Prestashop was 1.5.x and newest version is 1.7.7.5. Once I had a problem because, the technical staff member was replaced by a new one by previous ones’ job leave, and the reward point numbers got messed up at that time. But the new staff member was patient and he got the numbers right in the end. Thank you for your professionalism and warm support.

I've used LitExtension for several migrations to Shopify. They have excellent customer service and support, they are available when you need them, and have gone the extra mile to get my migrations just right. I highly recommend them for any migration you need to bring to Shopify from any other eCommerce platform. I wouldn't use any other app for a Shopify migration.

We used LitExtension to migrate customers, orders, and products From a Magento 2 site to a Shopify Plus site and the experience was nothing but the best. The product images were in rough shape on the Magento site so we did not want to use them and had updated images on Google Drive. I recently used LitExtension to take the plunge and migrate from Volusion across to Shopify. We had been using Volusion for almost 9 years and had a fair amount of data to migrate! LitExtension was a great find when we needed to migrate our old platform to Shopify (they have many other options too). The assistance from Cara, who helped us through the full migration process was absolutely outstanding and beyond expectations. She stayed the full 4 hour migration window online helping all the way through to completion of the tasks. We had so many questions to ask her as we were migrating our production platform, so she took every question to answer in detail as well as to provide evidence that their solution works without a hitch. We are absolutely grateful for their help and the smart App, well worth the money paid. I was worried about one particular review in here as one said this App deleted all of their products. When I asked about they they took time to demo the process in their store and to assure me that our 9 months work of products isn't going to trash. We needed to migrate a store from Magento to Shopify. It was a complex project - they had a few currencies, most of the orders were pre-orders, products had various custom attributes. I was looking into solutions, and contacted LitExtension support multiple times to ask some clarifying questions. They were always responsive and willing to help. One of the issues that we had was that the hosting provider didn't give the access to the database, but they did provide a database dump - and the tech team extracted the data from there. They also did various customizations to transfer the data in the most accurate way. So, I want to thank LitExtension team for their help!
