Very useful for managing private or B2B storefront access. I like how flexible the access rules are, especially being able to restrict specific pages, products, collections, or pricing based on customer tags and login status. It makes it much easier to create a clean wholesale or members-only shopping experience without complicated workarounds. The setup is straightforward, and the app has been reliable for our needs. Definitely a useful addition for stores that need more control over who can see certain content or products.

My website is a strictly B2B and we screen each customers before granting them access. Ever since Shopify changed their login to 2AF only, this caused issue to our flow. Stumbled across BSS suits of apps, though out of the box BSS's options didn't work smoothly with our flow. Got in touch with Lena and explained to her exactly what we needed and she help run point and coordinated with her dev team to customize their product to our needs. Lena was very easy and pleasant to work with. She and her team with more than patient with our changes and did their best to meet up. Would recommend BSS's product suite and if out of the box doesn't meet your needs feel free to get in touch with them to get it tailored.

BSS Locked was very easy to set up and straightforward to use. There were some compatibility issues with the theme I was using, so the result wasn’t 100% perfect right out of the box, but the support team stepped in and helped make it work. What a fabulous app! I spent ages looking for an app that I could use to password-protect a single collection (i thought this would be fairly simple but finding an app that did what i wanted was harder than i thought it would be!). This app solved the problem for me, it was fairly easy to set up, and when i contacted support for help, they responded really quickly and fixed the problem swiftly despite the time difference. In future it would be great to see more customisation options in terms of the styling / layout of the password page (for example being able to include photos). But for now it does what I needed it to and the support is excellent and very responsive.

Great app and great support ! - We needed to lock price access for certain products because they are only available for special contracted dealers (B2B) - We integrated referende projects (text and pictures) in the Shopify catalogue as examples for customers. In these cases, price information was not necessary and needed to be locked. - some discontinued products should be still shown in the shop because of technical documentation, but here the price information needed to be locked and cart button should be inactive. The app provides exactly what we need. And in addition, actually the most important thing is - the support is just great. The whole team - first level support and the development team in the background - they are all doing an awesome job - fixing issues within hours and giving detailed feedback - just great!

BSS B2B Lock worked exactly as I was hoping it would to address 2 specific needs: providing a custom lock screen in both English and French that restricts all aspects of the site from the public (our Shopify site is for existing clients only) and also restricting collection cards to only be visible to specific clients. I was also able to set up restrictions so that specific collections would be visible/hidden depending on which state/province the users are logging in from. The support team was also extremely helpful, answering all my questions very quickly and completing any custom requests on my behalf often in the same day. Very happy with the service BSS B2B Lock offers!

This allowed me to talk and screen share with Emma, making the set-up process so much easier and stress-free. Lux also provided outstanding customer service after the set-up process. This app is a complete scam. They download it, it doesn't work. They tell you that you need to upgrade. Ok, I upgraded. Then they tell you their developers need to modify something. It's been 2 months and the app still will not work. Their customer service team is terrible. They just waste your time on purpose. I talk to them every night and they still just say they're working on stuff. Joy specifically has completely wasted my time. If you download this app, you'll end up chatting with Joy while the app is never fixed. Good luck. After 2 months, I'm cancelling this app.

Just installed the app and ran into a problem that was not related to the BSS app but was caused by leftover code from another uninstalled app on our Shopify Store. The app works great! It doesn't work with every theme right out of the box. But after pinging their support, they had a developer integrate the plugin with our theme for free. And support staff was very professional and did an excellent job!

I found this app just this year and it works great! I recently changed the theme on our site and had an issue with the app uploading to the new theme. June in customer service was prompt to address the issue and fix it right up for us, after gaining collab access to the site. I really like the applications functionality as our business works with professional nutrition brands that have different kinds of restrictions on their registered or trademarked products. The hide pricing, login required, and a few other functions make my life a lot easier. Looking forward to using more of its functions as time goes on and as we expand our own brand reach. I would recommend this app for sure!

Buyer beware. If you use this - any type of "View All" will display your "hidden content". i.e. "View all collections" or "View all products". In the event that you attempt to get them to assist you, they will, slowly, but god forbid you remove their app. Once you do you, you are hostage to installing and paying $50 per month for your store to function properly. Like I said. Beware.

I've had this app installed since Sept 2023 because I need to unlock a specific feature to hide certain products. And to this date, I'm still sending emails resolving many little bugs and feel handcuffed to this app ecosystem. Here are some things that you should be aware of this app before you download: * You will always need to pay for a premium features, not just the lower scale one. * You will need to install separate apps for features that let you customize further. We are a small shop with 11 products and still needed 2 more of their apps, which means two more subscriptions and a total cost of over $125/month for all these services. * There customer service, while friendly and can fix things in a day or two, is in Vietnam and you have to wait 24hrs for every question to respond. * There is typically many things labeled differently or built in the app that needs some further discussion/translation as they are labeled differently than I would prefer. I assume this because translating things between Vietnamese and English can cause some hiccups. * Unless you want to work Vietnam business hours - find a different app with customer support geared towards your time zone. * In the end, I'm a small business investing 7 weeks of work into this app and no customers actually using it fluidly. * I have my hands tied that I have to keep this app because of costs and feel I can't make a change, especially with holiday season approaching. Please be mindful when making a decision - they have great ratings but I suspect it's because throughout my 90+ email chain since 9/21/2023 to date, they've asked me to write a review about once a week. While professional and nice, they look to optimize reviews more than solve my actual problem and it's unfair.
