I'm using this app to apply percentage-based tariffs on shipments (mostly to the USA from Canada in our case). It works effortlessly for this. Just select the products or collections that are subject to a specific tariff, and select the Market the tariff applies to, and you're all set. Customer sees the tariff / fee as a separate line item and it has no impact on customers in other Markets. I think this is a real life-saver for anyone shipping DDP who might need to adjust fees based on a percentage tariff and / or the €3 per product EU duty.

Fairly simple app to set up and use. We are currently using it to display eco fee messaging for our France market and to apply the correct eco fees to individual products for compliance. We use Magical Fees in Ireland for the Re-turn plastic bottles or can deposit fees. Depending on the size of the product fees can start at 0.15. Magical Fees does an excellent job of adding the fees to the order as a separate line so there is no confusion with the client and their product orders. Its also a great was for us to audit and send these fees into Re-turn. Totally recommend - easy set up, clear labeling, options to add own text and imagery.

Magical Fees is the only fee app that allows you to apply a fee based on a specific or individual state/province situation. All the other apps we tested only allow "Location" (the entire country) which is a major limitation. The solution Magical Fees applies during the Cart to Checkout process is very smart and not a hassle. Very easy app to setup and the support was great.

I use this app to add tariff costs for my US customers. It's easy to use, set up and maintain through all the constant US tariff changes. Great customer care! We are looking for an app to add fees, but we are also using a wholesale app which unfortunately caused a conflict with Magical Product Fees (and all the other Fee apps). Stephen worked hard to try and find a way for us to use both, and in the end it just wasn't possible at this time. His efforts for a new customer were above an beyond. Although we weren't able to utilize the app right now, he's put our situation into their development list, and if our situation changes we will RUN back to Magical Product Fees as it had everything we need.

The level of customer support is incredible. Shortly after downloading the app, I received a personal email sharing appreciation and offering assistance. After setting up my fees, I kept having trouble and could not figure out what I had done incorrectly. I submitted an email for help and got a response almost immediately. You have to get the growth plan in order for it to work. When you are adding transaction fees the customer gets to delete them. When the customer adds more items the transaction fees do not get updated accordingly.

Bad experience, this app will add a lot of products and products line in the cart, which makes the entire shopping cart confused. The most important is after uninstalling the app, it will let some metaobject which cannot be deleted forever. They will remain on your metaobject list. I don't recommend it.

Love the short and to the point support videos as well. I used the chat option to work around some customization we had in place and was taken care of by a human very quickly. Needed to add a state excise tax for specific products sold online and in store via POS. Magic Fees allows me to do this at a nominal monthly fee in comparison to upgrading Shopify plan, paying a developer, or using a tax app that gives more than I need at a higher monthly rate. We've used this app since 2022 and it has been great until recently. The new update requires updates to permission. They previously only required access to two things: view the theme and edit products. Now they want permission to view all customer information i.e. name, email address, phone number, physical address, geolocation, IP address, browser and operating system, edit products, edit orders, edit store functions, and view location data. When we reached out to the app owners to find an alternative solution (as we are not comfortable giving access or permission to all of that information) the response was there is no alternative.

Great. Exactly what I was looking for. Well thought-out app and yet kept simple and functional without affecting shop performance. The best product support I've ever had! Emails felt like instant messages with how quickly they replied. There are a few features I'd like to see added mainly percentage-based fees and POS support, but for now, the app does what it's supposed to do very well.

Great app! I am a start up company so it is wonderful that the app does not charge initial high costs. I highly recommend this app. My website offers products for a rental subscription fee. This is the only app that is able to charge one time fees like deposits. I tried 50 different apps and this is the best one.

The apps works great and is very simple to use. For me in Germany it is critical to add deposits to bottles. The tax rate depends of the product that I'am selling. So it is great to see, that every fee is a new product and i can adjust the tax rate. The support is really friendly and quick responding, a bug that I experienced was fix within days!
