Avoid this app at all costs! I have been using it since it was Codisto, and I never knew how bad it was at everything until I was forced to find another app. I never liked using it, but what pushed me over the edge was when it pretty much stopped syncing photos to eBay two weeks ago. Maybe 10% of my new listings actually got published, some of which took 2 or 3 days to publish. I set up demo meetings to evaluate 3 other apps, hoping I could find one that would work. This morning I started playing with LitCommerce, and it is honestly so good that I canceled my other two meetings. It is so well designed and intuitive that all I needed was a 5 minute setup video. By this afternoon I had all of my templates set up, all 346 of my items synced to the new app and published on eBay (with only a couple of errors), and THIS crappy app uninstalled! No telling how much money Marketplace Connect cost me in wasted time and lost sales over the last couple of weeks!

Same problems as Emma Jean's review of August 17, 2026. Over the last year I have had REPEATED problems of pictures not syncing properly with eBay. Marketplace Connect would eventually fix them, but would tell me that the issue was on eBay's end and they are trying to resolve it. Now, in the last 30 days, no new pictures will be uploaded to current listings. Such as we already have a listing, have added additional variants with new SKUs and pictures, but the pictures won't upload. Now, in the last 15 days, I can't even create new listings on ebay. When I contact customer support, it takes about 24 hours to get a response (during the week - no weekend support) and get a repeated response - 'it's eBay's fault'. After 15 days of not being able to create new listings I've had enough. Will start experimenting with other apps.

Never write reviews but this one is needed. Have gone back and forth with support regarding this App all of a sudden not uploading to Ebay properly. At first you could get Live Support and then it switched to submitting a request overnight. I've had no response in over a week. App is great when it works. Super disappointing for a Shopify App. I'm over the poor support across the board. Stop with the A.I. Support. We spend a lot of money with you and expect something in return besides the POS being down, bad apps and poor customer support.

Images do not sync with ebay consistently (or at all for new items) - we've been over 6 days without support being able to provide a solution beyond "we're looking into it" Inventory quantity updates can take over 72 hours to update. If you have a large catalog, try another solution.

If I could leave zero stars, I would. The problem is not just the support; it's the app itself. I've spent weeks dealing with Marketplace Connect issues that continue to impact my business, sales channels, and ability to operate effectively. Even after extensive troubleshooting, product cleanup, variant cleanup, and countless hours of my own time, the issues remain unresolved. What's most frustrating is that the app appears to struggle with stale data, outdated mappings, synchronization issues, and lingering references to products or variants that no longer exist. In today's technology environment, I would expect a Shopify-supported marketplace integration to have better tools for clearing old data, refreshing mappings, rebuilding catalogs, and identifying synchronization conflicts. Other platforms and applications offer these capabilities, so it's difficult to understand why Marketplace Connect continues to struggle with them. Unfortunately, the support experience has made the situation even worse. Instead of receiving meaningful assistance, I've spent weeks being sent in circles, answering the same questions repeatedly, and receiving little to no actionable guidance. Only one support representative appeared knowledgeable and genuinely interested in helping solve the problem. Everyone else seemed focused on repeating troubleshooting steps rather than driving the case toward a resolution. As a small business owner, this is not a minor inconvenience. I have lost valuable time, delayed marketing campaigns, delayed marketplace growth, and experienced a significant impact on my ability to generate sales. Every day these issues remain unresolved affects my business. What is especially disappointing is that Shopify actively promotes this app and associates it with its platform. As a merchant, I expect better reliability, better escalation procedures, better communication, and better technical support. Instead, I've been left managing the problem largely on my own. The app needs significant improvement. The support organization needs significant improvement. More importantly, merchants need real solutions, not endless loops of questions and unresolved tickets.

This app is good when it work but all of sudden it cannot connect eBay. Customer support looked at the issue 3 weeks but still cannot come up with a resolution. This is affecting the daily operation badly when something just doesn't work all of sudden and without a fast resolution. I am disappointed and 1 star is giving to the support team.

Does what you need it to do... usually. The main problems we have with this app: - Doesn't properly sync inventory: this is a huge one because ebay will penalize you for cancelling an order for being out of stock - You have to navigate to certain pages in a certain order for functionality to work. For example, going to a product in shopify then hitting "view in marketplace connect" works to get you to that page. But functionality like listing or delisting the product? That tends to break unless you go to listings, search the product and then get there that way. Very finnicky and while support is responsive, they're mostly just reading off a script and it takes a lot of back and forth before you get competent help.

Be Really Careful when you are using Marketplace connect. i had accidentally imported all amazon orders(4000+) to my Shopify store. There was no way to delete or cancel import. Contacted Support but they told couldn't do anything. We were also billed £15000 for these imported order which were processed, fulfilled by Amazon which is absolutely ridiculous. Also contacted Shopify Support and was disappointed as they said the same thing. Finally Got this app which was able to delete orders and very Thankful to the developers of Bulk Delete Imports(https://apps.shopify.com/bulk-delete-orders)

Mark. M Solved my issue Really annoying thing when syncing orders to Amazon there is not enough info on Shopify Fulfilment for all of the Amazon fields so my orders were failing valid tracking rate on amazon so I got suspended once and had to go in and daily correct the tracking. Now the shopify send the corrects info in the right format so DPD Local on shopify (which is correct) now changed to just DPD for amazon and adds the Carrier Service which was getting left blank before

Marketplace Connect has been a great experience so far, and their support team has been outstanding. I had a few questions during setup while connecting an existing eBay store, and they were patient, knowledgeable, and stayed with me until everything was working correctly. They even adjusted my account settings to fit my workflow and explained exactly what was happening during the initial sync process. Die App liest die falsche Variable für Varianten-SKUs aus, erhält einen leeren Wert, greift auf die Eltern-SKU zurück, fügt einen automatischen Index hinzu um die Duplikate zu verschleiern, und überträgt eine gekürzte 5-stellige SKU anstatt der korrekten 9-stelligen Varianten-SKU. Das erfordert eine direkte Zusammenarbeit zwischen dem Shopify-API-Team und dem Marketplace Connect-Entwicklungsteam. Ich weiß ehrlich gesagt nicht mehr wie ich diesen Bug nach 7 Wochen noch deutlicher beschreiben soll. Updated review from June 17, 2026: Despite multiple contacts since May 2026 and detailed documentation of the issue – that only the parent SKU and not the correct Shopify variant SKU is being transmitted to eBay – nothing has changed after more than 5 weeks. The problem affects all multi-variant listings. When the parent SKU is reported back, automatic inventory management does not work and stock changes have to be entered manually. A formal escalation to a manager or product owner has not been made possible so far. Recent experience with the Marketplace Connect app: Important note regarding items with variants! Unfortunately, a change was made to the app on May 10, 2026, that broke inventory management for variants in Shopify. When only the 5-digit "parent SKU" from eBay is transferred to Shopify, the sale of the item (which uses the 9-digit Shopify SKU) is not accounted for in inventory management, and the stock level is not updated. Consequently, the adjustment has to be made manually. Previously, the 9-digit Shopify SKU was transferred to eBay; currently, however, only the 5-digit parent SKU is transferred, followed by the parent SKU with an index for all additional variants. I have contacted support several times about the current situation, but nothing seems to change. The system continues to transfer the 5-digit parent SKU and the parent SKU with an index for additional variants. We shall see if the 9-digit Shopify SKU is transferred to eBay again in the future so that inventory management for variants works properly once more. If anything changes, I will update my review. My review as of approx. May 10, 2026: The app works excellently. Listing items created in Shopify is done on eBay without any major delays. Thanks to the very quick support from the support team, I learned a lot about the Marketplace Connect app that I would never have known just by reading the description. Please note an important point that I discovered due to a change in the inventory of an archived item. By changing the inventory of an archived item, the item activated in Marketplace Connect was automatically transferred to eBay. The support team's analysis quickly identified the reason for the item being transferred to eBay, and I received important information about using Marketplace Connect. --> As soon as the inventory is changed, the item is automatically uploaded to eBay if the item is active in the Marketplace Connect item list. --> When the inventory is changed, the item's status is not checked. This means that even if the item is archived and hidden in the online shop, the item is uploaded to eBay. --> Here is an excerpt from the email support team: Marketplace Connect app uses Shopify as the source of truth for your products. The list of products that you see on Marketplace Connect > Listings page are all your products in Shopify regardless of their status (active, draft & archived). There is no way to delete a product within Marketplace Connect. To delete them, you have to delete directly in Shopify.

Marketplace Connect app is a useful solution, but I am disappointed that it does not support major European marketplaces such as Zalando, ASOS, and About You. These are some of the most popular online retailers in Europe, and they all operate successful marketplaces. As a result, the app is missing some of the most important sales channels for European sellers. I sincerely hope these marketplaces will be added in the near future. Doing so would make Marketplace Connect far more valuable and complete for businesses selling across Europe. Despite this limitation, I believe the platform has great potential, and I hope this expansion is already on the roadmap.

It's good, but it would be great to have some additional features. Being able to "refresh" the data that gets pulled in from other places such as Walmart, Etsy, Amazon or Ebay. I updated some of the SKU's on Etsy but it never shows up as a match when I try to link the listings. When trying to link a possible listing, I try to enter in the Shopify SKU, but nothing pulls up sometimes. Being able to modify or break certain linked listings, I.E. if I linked a listing by accident, I have no way to modify it. Also being able to modify the linking settings for each "market" . I.E. if I originally had it set to us the App for the source of truth for the title, being able to modify that would be great for sites like Ebay where we need to modify the title for SEO, but don' t want to modify the title in Shopify and have a cascade effect on all other linked markets. Also the linking for Amazon is super clunky as all the listings are set at a set price and I have to go into each individual variant to modify the price. When I have 96 variants and have multiple items that I have added to Amazon, this becomes a gigantic time suck for me. Altdian is extremely helpful!!!

Marketplace Connect (Codisto) is a system that I am happy to review and give 5 stars to - but what I will say is that this could have EASILY been a 1 star. Here's the thing, if you use the system with existing listings like I did, you are almost certainly going to have the odd issue that makes no sense. You are also going to tear your hair out trying to fix it. But that’s where support comes in. Live chat is one of the best I have dealt with. Mark L (who I was very grumpy with to start), Mark M, and today Michael have been outstanding. Nothing is too much trouble, nothing is a silly question, and I can’t fault the support. So here is my review. If everything works great out of the box, that's brilliant - but if you need help, then just ask. You will NOT be disappointed.

We reinstalled this app in April 2026 having previously used it in 2019. Upon reinstallation the app merged our new eBay account with our defunct 2019 legacy account and published our entire product catalogue of 1,000+ products to eBay without our authorisation, including brands we are not licensed to sell on eBay, putting our seller account at risk of suspension. We had to manually emergency-end all listings ourselves. Three weeks later, after dealing with multiple support agents who repeatedly suggested the same failed fixes, the legacy account data is still present in their system. We have also discovered that a former employee who left our business in 2020 still has active credentials stored within the app, representing a serious data security risk. We have now been forced to file a formal complaint with the ICO regarding the unlawful retention of personal data. The app itself may work well for new users, but if you have any history with it under a previous account or trading name, be warned that your old data is never deleted and can cause serious problems when you return. We would not recommend this app to any business until their data retention and account management processes are significantly improved.

The only answer we get from support is we have to much orders which isnt the case or they tell us orders aren't technically importing late if they show up within 24 hours. We are so disappointed with this app, it really is unfit for purpose. Our prices were replicating from Shopify to Ebay in the thousands, the inventory amounts were incorrect and there were duplicate variations, even though the SKUs and sizes were the same. Dina had to individually sync each product back to Ebay to try to get it to show the correct price/inventory quantity. However, over the weekend, we sold a product on Ebay that isn't in stock in Shopify because all of our inventory quantities have reset themselves to 100 in Ebay. Marketplace Connect tell us that eBay has a policy that limits the maximum quantity shown on a listing to 99 or 100 units, even if our Shopify stock is higher. However our stock is LOWER than 100 and it is still showing as 100! After giving them several chances to resolve or explain these problems, we won't be continuing with this app. We were trialling the Ebay connection before we used it for Amazon, where we have many more orders. We don't have much confidence in it sadly, and knowing how difficult Amazon can be, we just can't risk it.

I use Shopify Marketplace Connect for Walmart, eBay, and Target Plus to list my products. While Walmart's interface was initially less intuitive, it's now fairly easy to use. Target's listing process, however, has been very frustrating. Walmart Marketplace: Pros: Easy listing process once you're familiar with the interface. Cons: Some prompts and expectations within the app could be clearer and more straightforward. Target Marketplace Connect: Cons: * My first listing attempt was rejected without a clear explanation. * The second listing required an excessive amount of detail, including numerous dimensions, making it unnecessarily time-consuming. * The app needs clearer indication of which fields are truly required. Currently, it uses an asterisk to mark some required fields, but after submitting a listing, I receive critical errors for fields that were not marked as required. This inconsistency leads to multiple errors and wasted time. * Target Plus lacks the shipping flexibility offered by other platforms. Sellers are locked into their initial choice of shipping carrier, which restricts options for both sellers and customers who may prefer different carriers or shipping speeds. Suggestion: * Target should streamline the listing process, clearly indicate which fields are mandatory, and ensure a smoother, more user-friendly experience. * Improve shipping flexibility: Allow sellers to change shipping carriers based on weight, shipping cost, and speed. Support Experiences: Support experiences have been inconsistent. While some agents were unhelpful and unclear, I recently connected with Lou, who was fantastic. He was knowledgeable, empathetic, and provided clear solutions. Suggestion: Ensure all support agents are trained to provide the same level of excellent service as Lou, with a focus on clear communication, empathy, and understanding. Overall: Enhance the seller experience by focusing on clarity and efficiency. Provide clear instructions, concise error messages (not everything needs to be critical), and a clear distinction between required and recommended fields. Streamlined processes and knowledgeable support agents are also essential. I'm adding one star to my review because a leader from the company contacted me and explained the situation. However, the lack of follow-up and subsequent unresponsiveness from that same leader is disappointing and prevents me from rating higher. There are still issues with the app, and the customer communication via chat needs substantial improvement, including consistent and timely responses to customer contact. Addressing these fundamental communication and functionality problems should be a priority. Mar 9, 2026: I am further downgrading my review because the support experience has significantly deteriorated. I am currently facing a critical issue that is costing my business money, and the assistance from support representatives (specifically Chloe and Lovely) has been utterly unprofessional and unhelpful. While I previously mentioned a positive interaction with a leader, their subsequent lack of follow-up and total unresponsiveness have been deeply disappointing. The platform’s functionality remains inconsistent, but the primary failure is the communication—responses are delayed, agents lack empathy, and there is no sense of urgency even when financial loss is involved. I can no longer recommend Shopify Marketplace Connect due to this breakdown in basic service.

The app can get extremely frustrating due to constraints when linking the Shopify catalog with existing listings on Ebay/Amazon. It leaves too much room for error, and the process to correct it is so complicated. This app isn't very user-friendly. The instructions are incomplete. The support is really hit or miss. Sometimes it's great, and sometimes it's downright infuriating and the person either doesn't understand the problem or is just trying to close the case without actually listening. The Amazon connection is very faulty - inventory often doesn't update, so we oversell items through Amazon and are forced to cancel orders. It's happened several times and there is no easy solution to prompt an inventory resync. If you sell a product with variants, good luck to you - the app makes it so difficult and time-consuming to edit variants. There is no bulk-edit option so you need to click into every one to update the settings. The parent listing settings do not override the variants like you think they would. If you already have linked variants, you need to edit them individually. This app has the potential to be fantastic but is just not getting the support it requires. Shame I'm not aware of any better solution.

Standard so-so, Shopify-built app that reminds me of Shopify Flow. It does some things but not the things you want. *Update. They added Metafields! Now performance has gone into the toilet. For stores with large product selections this app absolutely crawls. Or maybe it just crawls for everyone. Still a two-star for other reasons. * You can't sell products to multiple platforms from one place. Not even to Amazon in the US and Canada. Managing a dozen products one platform at a time is possible. But not hundreds. Definitely not thousands. * You can't even tag products that are selling on one platform so that you can easily list them on another. * It doesn't integrate with Shopify Flow so you can't use workflows to do either of the jobs above. Adequate. But in the world of AI you can't help but think someone could build something better than this in a few weeks. Update: I did just that! I abandoned this app and built my own with features I actually need: Auto-listing on multiple marketplaces Reporting Repricing logic API accessibility (the lack of this was the death blow) Don't accept mediocrity. If your business needs it, build it.

The most disfunctional experience with an app I have ever had. The Ai bot and I have been trying for two days to connect our shopify store to amazon. Nothing that is supposed to be visible on the app pages is actually there. It is the most non-intuitive app I have worked with. Lost of uneccessary information requested and nothing that we actually need is listed on the pages. It took us 20 minutes to connect using the Amazon Prime app for our US store. I am two days into this for our Europe store and still struggling.

Initially functioned well but then realised that it reset almost every product in my ebay store to category "other". I have over 1,000 products and my visits on ebay dropped to virtually zero. Took some time and hair pulling to get everything sorted again using the bulk editor in Marketplace but there are still a lot of missing parameters between the two - expect to invest some time afterwards. The shipping and stock control aspects seem to be working fine.

I believe Marketplace Connect is mainly suited for simple products. We operate in a niche market for pet supplements, and the app fails to map this category correctly to the Amazon API. Some fields in the app allow for free-form text, whereas the official Amazon API requires a dropdown menu with fixed variables. This causes a constant error from Amazon whenever you fill in those fields, making it impossible to link products and list them on the platform. The app/API integration is incomplete and subpar. Not worth more than 1 star.

This app is great for transferring lisitings into eBay. Support was extremely nice and helpful. I got stuck and decided to use the chat option. It pops up a bot chat, but you can request a human by clicking on the "Get in touch" button at the bottom. After describing my issue Rain was able to help me right away. In the chat I was sent screenshots to show me what they were talking about so I could get past that part I was stuck on. The best customer service I've ever experienced.

EDITED: After my review, Joy V. reached out to me and helped me increase the quantity limitations for eBay completely solving my problems. While I do think that they should disclose this clearly, since it messed up our inventory, I'm going to change my review from 2 stars to 4. PREVIOUS REVIEW: I guess I missed the memo that this app will limit eBay quantities to 100. Since we use a third party inventory management system, it changed ALL of our items to 100. Now I get to count out thousands of pieces to fix our inventory On the plus side, it is quick and easy to sync existing Shopify listings with eBay and the description looks great. I will likely be removing this app because of the inventory issue.

Used for almost 12 months but uninstalled due to the insistence that “eBay” required customer details be deleted. This includes name, address, phone. Order tracking details, reviews that are left. Also means the customer can’t be merged and makes keeping track of repeat business impossible as well as trying to find orders to assist with warranties and follow up. If you value record keeping avoid this app.

Update from 2 stars to 1 star: Dec 29: Almost a two months later and a lot of back and forth with support, and this app still does not work properly. There seems to be a cache issue on their backend, or something similar. A chat agent was able to help reveal available products to map, when mapping to Amazon listings. Same issue appeared and new support agents (via email) have no clue how to fix the issue that they other chat agent fixed in 2 min. Looking for recommendations on apps to sync Shopify with Amazon. Nov 6: The error messaging on listings is beyond vague. With a little explanation and some more UX improvements, this could be a lot easier. Likely will pay for an app that is more thorough.

After a full month of trying to use, I seriously doubt whether it will ever work properly. Ich habe noch nie so eine katastrophale App gehabt und so einen unfähigen Kundendienst - wenn überhaupt wirklich jemand danach schaut. Nachsatz: auch später noch Probleme über Probleme. Furchtbarer Kundendienst. Dreht sich im Kreis und liest einfach nicht, was man schreibt. Kommt mit lauter Lösungsvorschlägen, die nicht funktionieren und schiebt konsequent alles auf Ebay. Ich habe mehrfach mit Ebay telefoniert. Ebay hat mir sogar schriftlich bestätigt, dass alles in Ordnung ist, und angeboten, dass die Technik sie direkt kontaktieren kann. Dies wird nicht getan, man wird nur mit Ausreden abgewimmelt. Stunden mit diesem Chat verplempert und die Fehlermeldung ist immer noch da.

Serious bugs in Amazon order importing. When a new order comes in, it has incorrect product customization details. It seems to not work with product variations. Contacting support is like talking to a brick wall. They don’t want to help you they just want to close the ticket. So beware if you have handmade or variations don’t trust this app.

Personally, I like the 1:1 on the chat, and had the chat delays waiting for a responce. His replys were quick and insightful. Next time I have to chat, I hope I get him again. AND... he fixed the issue.

This app has gone from bad to worse. For $99 a month, it should at least work. Support doesn't listen. The app is defective. It causes significant issues with Amazon listings and Etsy. They will not fix it and the recommendations do not solve the problems. Very sad.

So far so good. I had a few teething problems initially and kept getting an error with pricing that Support helped me with quickly. I do wish I could hide a few more of the irrelevant columns but that's really a minor detail of convenience. Update after a year: V happy with it for ebay.

I tried using Marketplace Connect as a cost-saving alternative after previously relying on a custom API. Still, it has not been a solution for my most important need, connecting with the Target+ marketplace. After a year and a half of effort, there has been virtually no progress, and neither the app’s support team nor Target’s support seems to fully understand how to resolve the issues. It has been a genuinely frustrating experience. The app does work well with Walmart, eBay, and Etsy, but if your primary goal is seamless Target integration, this is not the tool for you. Save yourself the time and avoid the disappointment.

We used it to connect it to Amazon. It took a bit work to connect, but the customer support has made the difference. The representative (Joy V) was very responsive and helpful. She provided quick and detailed answers to the questions we had. In terms of things to improve, I think development team can work on the error messaging a bit more. The error codes regarding required fields are somewhat descriptive, but sometimes maps to multiple fields and can be cryptic to resolve.. again, customer service shined here to help.

Will NOT work if you have multiple variations of colour and size. I wasted a week trying to get it to work. Even got the developers involved, and they couldn't work out how to do it. This would work only with single variations of things, and ONLY if you spend a long time mapping all the fields. Just build excel files for Amazon, it's quicker.

It historically imported a bunch of old orders without any confirmation or clicking anywhere Caused a lot of double orders. Support just says "thats intendeded, how about you go fix 600 orders manually from both Shopify and your accounting system" No compensation no nothing. Total lack of care for merchants.

This app is complete trash! it doesnt work at all! Some products are imported to Amazon some are not ... nobody can tell why this is. The only thing you hear is, that you should delete the listings and try to import the products again. Soo frustrating to work with bad apps like that!!! Also, this app is self-service only. So, if you have a problem nobody is willing to take some time to resolve the issue ... I tried to make the Amazon import work for a 1 1/2 month now ... without success!

We use the app for Amazon and Ebay. The connections are fast, it can be mapped to meta data making it easier to input product attributes. The customer service has always been quick to help and my problems are always resolved quickly. There are occasional issues with photos not posting to Ebay correctly. This is solved with a simple email. The app is slow, taking a long time to open individual listings.

Consistently crap, start to finish. Now Etsy isn't supported? "Etsy has changed so we don't have the ability..." "Anyway talk to a 3rd party app they can still do it." MAKE IT MAKE SENSE! Every listing, i had to talk to support. I had to reupload every listing, every new agent i had to explain exactly what had previously happened and still couldn't take my word for it, prolonging issues. I left my emails when live agents were not available over 7 times with issues, I got a response 1 time via email. Why is it the 1 thing we could get for free from shopify is now closing, pushing us towards 3rd party apps that I'm guess they get a cut of the profits...

I heavily relied on the app, and then, out of nowhere, from one day to the other, they discontinued their support for etsy. Just like that, no warning in advance, no notice, just an error message when syncing new listings. After wasting hours of research, I finaly found out, they want "to spend their efforts on other platform". -> do NOT rely on the app nor the team behind it!
