This app has saved me literally hundreds of hours of work. With 500+ products and 20+ metafields in our store, manually entering data just isn't an option. I've been using this app for probably 5 or more years and have had a great experience with both the functionality of the app and the customer service. Every once in a while, I make a stupid mistake and have to reach out to support to clean up my mess. It's always a pleasant experience. Can't say more good things about Metafields Manager.

Excellent app that saved us a lot of efforts and resources to have our Shopify product pages look the way we want. Shopify themes are very restrictive in terms of how you can customize the product page, but through Metafields Manager I was able to create multiple custom sections on my website that can be designed however you want. Plus, Jason worked ever so passionately with us to understand the requirements and setup the sections as per our needs - he has been providing continuous support whenever needed. This is one of the most crucial apps for a lot of businesses on the app store.

An extremely functional and stable app that does way more than I have expected and saves tones of time!! As we're importing our old store data into shopify, we've discovered that we had data with no place to reside within Shopify. Using the metafield manager we've been able to bring all that data over and actually use it the way that we intended. We can now deliver the content and data that we want without having to re-invent the wheel. Well worth the small price they're asking. Their support has also helped us with proper syntax when inserting these fields into the areas that we need them in.

I must start off by saying that the support that Jason provides is second to none. At first some of this can be a little confusing. Jason worked with me to determine what metafields could and could not do for our store. He went well beyond what I would call reasonable. The app does a good job of setting up and managing metafields inside the store. The only issue I found is easily accessing products in the metafield manager app, however this can be done in the more actions dropdown on the product listing in the store, so it was a non issue. The import and export via spreadsheets works, however I would strongly recommend teaming this up with excelify. This combo allows me to bulk upload products with custom fields, in groups of 100-300 in a reasonable amount of time.

Works okay, but clunky! I went to add a metafield and it gave me a dropdown list to select the type, but when I selected 'product', it gave me a list of every item in my store alphabetically. Given there are almost thousand different products in our store, this was a little difficult to navigate! Ended up uninstalling it because I'm not going to click through page after page trying to find the product I needed to edit.

We use this app for approximately 80% of our sites content. It rocks. But what is even better is the support. The support we have received is timely, competent and professional. My team has had several issues that were quickly diagnosed (usually not this apps problems but the support nailed the issues). If other companies we deal with had this level of support we would be on cloud 9. Great App, and great to deal with them. (user for about a year now). The app itself is nice and does what it says it will do. At first you are overwhelmed because there are so many options/outcomes with this app. It has a lot of potential depending on how intense you want to customize your shop. We just wanted to add additional product photos to our product pages that weren’t in the carousel. Ideally, it would be nice to not have to rely on the app to include these images once the meta fields were set up and just use shopify’s product page. Maybe thats something to look into for the future if shopify allows it. There seems to be a lot of restrictions with shopify and this is a work around. We watched the walkthrough video the app provides, which was helpful, and the documentation was pretty clear to help you do the tasks you wanted to do. The interface of the app is nice and clean. No real complaints on our end and Jason responded within 5 minutes when we sent an email asking question about the app. Seems like there is good customer service if we run into any issues.

I needed some functionality added to my product page that other developers said wasn't possible. I needed to add a calendar that would allow customers to choose the dates they wanted an item delivered on. One developer suggested looking into a metafields app, there are free and paid options available. I ultimately chose this one, even though the cost is higher than the others. The reason being that Jason's support has been amazing. He is quick to respond and asks the right questions to make sure that the job is done correctly. We had to go back and forth over a few days to make sure the functionality was spot on. Once he got it right, he gave me some easy to follow instructions and I was able to add the calendars to all my product pages without an issue. I highly recommend this app!

Hands down the best metafields app, particularly for large inventory shop migrations. As far as I know it's the only metafields app that can bulk upload metafield values. Excellent app and great support! This app has given me the flexibility to build my store exactly the way I want. The interface is clean and intuitive. Metafields Manager is truly awesome and it has enabled us to add all of the data to our products in to metafields and then display the data where required on the product pages. Adding detailed information to product descriptions in Shopify can be tricky as you have just one description field to add everything and if you have complicated descriptions or data that you need to split up, to potentially add to tabs or display on a specific part of the product page, this app allows you to do exactly that. The support from The Best Agency who have designed the app has been one of the best support experiences we have had with any Shopify app developer. We required some additional functions to be added to the app which the developer was not only happy to carry out but completed the work in just a few days. They also responded to emails within just a few hours. Worth noting, you can link the app to your own Amazon S3 account, so any files that you add within the Metafields manager app such as MP3 or PDF files are sent directly to your own S3 account…very useful! Or you can simply leave it as default which will add any uploads to the Shopify CDN system. I thoroughly recommend Metafields Manager as the best custom metafield system out there for Shopify.
