We used this App for a long time, then we upgraded to Shopify Plus and they wanted significantly more money to use it. Since we had originally installed it Shopify Flow was released and was able to do most of the functionality we needed, so we uninstalled it.

I was looking for an app that would bring the Amazon and Walmart order id's from the Additional Notes section down into a tag so it would flow through our edi systems and into our ERP. The Arigato app had the right price, was user friendly for someone who isn't a developer to use, their support team was very quick to respond and were able to help me create the workflow I needed to make it all happen. I'm so pleased this solved my issue and I couldn't be more pleased with the support I received. I would definitely recommend their app.

Arigato is the kind of app you install once and wonder how you ever ran a store without it. It automates everything from tagging orders and updating metafields to sending API calls and running complex conditional logic. If Shopify doesn’t natively support something, chances are Arigato can make it happen. The interface is clear, the documentation is solid, and the flexibility is next-level. You can build workflows that respond to almost any event, customize them with Twig, and even chain multi-step actions with sanity checks built in. It saves hours of manual work, reduces human error, and gives you control over your store’s backend in ways Shopify just doesn’t. If you’re running anything more than a basic setup, this app is a must. There's a bit of a learning curve, but the support I received from Kenny was top notch!

My all-time favorite Shopify app, and one of the best values out there. We've used Arigato for 5+ years and plan to stick with this team indefinitely. Whether or not you know how to write code: if you need custom automations in your Shopify store, you NEED Arigato. Arigato saves devs time, and it opens up a world of possibilities to non-technical Shopify users. The customizability is highly granular, and the support team is responsive and very capable--making them arguably Arigato's best feature. Every time we've contacted support, a knowledgeable technical person (usually Patrick) has directly interacted with us and kindly and efficiently helped us troubleshoot our workflows and resolve any questions or issues. Because Arigato is such a powerful tool, you may experience a bit of a learning curve with the user interface at first, but support can help with this, and you'll thank yourself later for sticking with it. Go for it!

I found this App by chance after wasting a lot of time between codes and other Apps to solve the problems I had. Forget about the various Mechanic, Flow, Guru Metafield Apps (etc. I've tried tons of them), terrible in comparison. This app is brilliant and intuitive at the same time, even for complex operations. You can do anything with information, move it, edit it, update it with or without metafields, with incredible ease. Furthermore, I think I still have many features to discover. They actually solved the job for which I was losing hope. Thank you so much. You are geniuses! Must have app , if you understand how it works! Took me a few days, but with the support it worked as i wanted to. I'm using Arigato now to setup a workflow that generates shipping costs (variants metafield) from variant metafield values like length, width and height. In that way i can add the shipping cost metafield value to my product costs as i have free shipping in my webshop. You can really do anything with this app and the support is very helpfull.

For context, I spent over a decade in software engineering. I used to write big data streaming cloud applications in Java, and this app lets me accomplish so much in our shop because of the super-flexible custom actions. I can run GraphQL queries and mutations and do as much as Twig will allow - which sometimes isn't as much as I want, but the support team is unbelievably helpful when I run into a problem. They are prompt to respond, clear in their communication, and so knowledgeable. We have a small team and we literally could not succeed like we do without Arigato automations.

I cannot rave enough about the Arigato automation app - it is an absolute must-have for any Shopify store looking to simplify operations. It has automated so many of our tasks, from sending B2B email notifications and updating customer data to managing inventory, creating custom metafields, updating collections, generating reports, the list goes on & on. The complexity of the workflows I can create is extremely impressive and has unlocked new levels of efficiency and organization in our business. The time and effort it has saved has easily paid for itself multiple times over. If you want to streamline your business and stop doing repetitive tasks manually, Arigato is simply unmatched. I know you might read this and think this is a planted review, but I promise on my life it's not. :)

Bring back the Save Workflow button to make sure the code in Custom Actions saves and isn't gone forever. Happened twice now. I told you the first time and it's still doing it. Again, it wasn't a page reload and even if it was then it would have saved before after pressing the Save Workflow button. I've now seen that the useful thing on the right hand side to search for functions now covers over the code. As soon as it opens in front of the code it's immediately obvious that this is a regression.

After yet another 5-star customer service experience with Bonify, I'm compelled to edit this review and reiterate that I just can't recommend this app highly enough! Arigato is basically the swiss army knife of your Shopify store. It's what Shopify Flow should be, but isn't. Arigato is much more versatile and powerful. Here are just a few things we've done with it: -Tag In-Stock orders so we can easily ship them each day (we have a lot of made-to-order products that can't be shipped immediately) -Tag made-to-order products with an expected ship week -Sign customers who accept marketing to our Mailchimp list -Hide auto-generated Custom Product Builder products from internal search and google - this is invaluable if you use a customizer app that creates products for every variation ordered. -Send order data to google sheets - we use this for all sorts of production and materials planning -Many more! One caveat is that I have a background in coding, which helps with the more complicated tasks. But the support when I have had questions has been excellent so I think the app would still be valuable for anyone.

There is a degree of clunkiness to the UI, and creating workflows can be a tedious task. Certain actions don't give sufficient debug information when they encounter errors. Could use improve realtime metrics to show what workflows are active. That aside, this app is hands down the MOST IMPORTANT app that I have installed. It is hugely powerful, and can save an immense amount of time. There are so many different things that you can automate, and it can be dangerously addictive when you discover a new feature and just HAVE to implement it immediately. Some of the things that I have built that I find incredibly useful: - Discount scheduling (achieved with metafields) - Scheduled error checking - warning emails sent to me if something is misconfigured - Product description generation based on metafields

App is very versatile - I have by far to most customization abilities & flexibility with this workflow app. I have tried every single workflow automation app on the market and this one definitely gives me the most flexibility to really set up complex automations. Design and UX is probably not the most attractive, but considering the large amount of functions it is easy to get a hold of. Support answers fast via email, is friendly and gets the problems solved. The metafield automations are not as easy to use as other apps which are a LOT cheaper (tag genie for example which is $5 a month). The customer support team take ages to get back to you and now that I want to discontinue my account with them, there is no way to do it in the app, so I have to request this from them. I would not recommend as cheaper, better and easier to use services are out there.

I've been looking for ways to help automate a lot of our admin-heavy processes. Been using Zapier for a few years, but found their access to more granular aspects of the Shopify API missing or extremely difficult to work with. I tested out Arigato based on the positive reviews and I've achieved so much more than I initially thought was possible. There is a bit of a steep learning curve and it felt a bit overwhelming when I started out. However, there is a library of some very useful workflows to either use, or check out how they are set-up to better understand the logic. The tool is excellent. It really is. But what has made it stand out has been the support. I've reached out to Bonify (the app developers) more than once for help and advice and they have been brilliant (special thanks to Patrick!). Not only have they been able to help me when I've been stuck in some of my Workflow set-ups, they provided example workflows to make it easier to learn how to better execute future ones on my own. Spending the days upfront to get these workflows in place is going to save my team weeks and months of admin time which is now automated in the background. One of the best Shopify Apps I've used for both functionality and support.

I love this app so much! It's insanely useful for automating different parts of your shop in a straightforward manner. There's so many different options of what you can do with this app, you would be looking at multiple different apps to provide exactly what this app provides. I use this to sort customers into their designated delivery runs, to update my product SEO when a product gets created or updated,I did use it to update stock across multiple variants of the same product. The possibilities are endless. The customer service team is super nice and super helpful, especially Patrick and Kenny, I've come to them multiple times not understanding how to do something and they have helped me right away and showed me not only what to do to make it work, but how it works too, so I have been able to learn a bit more on how to work the app on my own. A definite must-have for your website. Very highly recommend it.

I've used Arigato on a couple different sites and its miles ahead of Shopify Flow. In fact, often times I've found Shopify's support suggests Arigato as they seem to often have difficulty navigating their own tool, where in the odd occasion that I haven't been able to find our configure an already-build flow from Arigato's easy to navigate library, their support team has something built out for me with explanations included within a few hours to a day. Would love to give a full 5 stars but I find the arbitrary increase in pricing for Shopify Plus users a bit of an offensive trend in Shopify developers. Increasing the price of an app based on another subscription and not usage is pretty painful and if Shopify ever managed to actually build out Flows competently I'd likely have to set Arigato aside due to the price point.

Very powerful app and amazing support team! I highly recommend. I use Arigato on all of my shops, it's been so useful and unlocks the full potential of Shopify when you do not have the Plus plan. I use it to automatically tag products, show most recent best sellers, updated customs metafields, bulk email customers about temporary issues. When I contact the team for help to create workflows, they will respond within 24 hours and often offer to fix the workflow for me (instead or referring me to the knowledge base). It's a must-have app for me and all of my stores.

I use this application daily to update the metafields of my products at Shopify. It works fast and precise and the data is easy to work with. The only con I have is that there's no method to automate the import of files inside the app. Other than that I'm really happy with its performance.

This is the most robust and valuable app we've ever installed. We're using it to pull "Fulfillment Notes" from the product metafield over to the order page to remind fulfillment staff about important product details that are easily forgotten. This is an absolute essential for our store now! When you have thousands of products like us, there is no way we could do all the things Arigato let us do, without Arigato! You can do EVERYTHING imaginable, that shopify allows you to do. Other automation/bulk edit tools alway lack in certain areas, so you need to supplement with other apps. With Arigato you can consolidate everything into 1 app. It´s like a superhero version of Shopify Flow. (And it integrates with Shopify flow aswell). Have an idea for a workflow, but unsure about how to execute the setup? Reach out to support and they´ll create an immaculate workflow for your needs. Deserves the 5 stars!!! Only drawback would be is when you have many workflows combined with thousands of products it can cause long queue´s (longer time to have all actions performed). But i suspect it wouldn´t be possible to expand capacity here even if they wanted to. And I´m sure if you reach out to support, they´ll happily help you remove inefficiency´s in your workflows, that causes long queues. <3 Arigato

We originally installed this app because we needed to create workflows based on warehouse location, not just total inventory across all locations. Shopify's native workflow application Flow doesn't currently support this. What we've found is that Arigato works great for that, and so much more! I was using zapier before, but it costs more that this tool. Also this tool is more oriented towards shopify, which I need... I was using zapier only to automate shopify before, so it makes sense to switch to agrigato. Another good thing is that I can fulfil orders automatically now. I have lots of digital orders(buyers get instant download link), but some physical ones also, and before I had to manually fulfil digital ones so they wouldn't clutter my orders page, but I had to be careful to not mistakenly fulfil physical order, until it was time to do so. This app fixes that.

Shopify does not send out notifications to customers when you mark an order as paid. I had tons of customers emailing us to ask if we received their payments and had to check for each person and reply to them which became so time consuming. I then got Arigato and set up a workflow to automatically trigger an email to say “thank you we have received your payment” each time I mark an order paid. Best $25 ever spent. I wish I knew about this app sooner as I could have saved so much time. Service is AMAZING. The team responds to every email and goes out of their way to help. Highly recommended. Responsive and helpful team, this tool is very powerful and will do things that Shopify Flow cannot even do! The team is always innovating and comes up with new ways workflows. I use it to get alerts for orders with PO box addresses, high risk orders, send alerts to customers when their orders take more than 7 days to prepare. I combine the automatic tags with the free app Shopsync and Mailchimp to send very personalized emails follow ups. I also use it to tag customers based on their spendings so they can use special discounts.

This is your Shopify secret weapon. It's like Zapier within Shopify and even integrates with Zapier and IFTTT! I don't know how I made it so long before finding this. Shopify is amazing but has some serious limitations once you reach even modest complexity, but Arigato Automation allows you to seamlessly work out even some of the most complex workflows.

WHY? Why did it take me so long to find this app? I'd paid for a few apps to help me tag and manage products and order before I found Arigato Automation then I scrapped them all in favour of this app. So far, I've found nothing I can't do using their scripting language and where I get stuck their service is top notch. The team here with Arigato Automation is fantastic. I had some fairly specific workflows that needed to use the Shopify API, tagging and Google sheets. Do not use this app. When you switch to Shopify Plus, they increase the price and charge $100/month for each of your store even if you just need a few triggers per month for the exact same services as before switching to Shopify Plus. Now, I need to find an alternative solution, so don't make the same mistake. In addition to that, they did not even bother to reply to my emails after this unacceptable price increase.

One of the worst support in shopify, those guys can take 3 days to respond and when they do its so un useful, the idea is there but the implementation isnt. Texts dont work and nothing is actually automated. I have no idea how it has 19 reviews.... Wow Fake??? dude we have paid 5 invoices, you just made the viewers see through your unprofessional attitude and ego! Put them both aside and maybe you will get some kind of subscriptions. This is exactly why we left the app, it was simply because you hardly answer our questions and you are hardly ever professinal to begin with. To those who just came across this app, the app doesnt work with texting and here is why! Customers in North America will use a +1 area code and then the number, this app skips the area code and goes straight to the number with a + so for example it would go as +9 or +8 ignoring the +1. They completely said they have no control over this and its a shopify thing, like are you serious? Its super sad that your response was this review is fake instead of trying to fix this app or make it right for your customer. Best of Luck, you will definitely need it!

I can set the Google Shopping categories, some of my product tags, and set the handle and meta titles. The app's customer services and development team are very responsive and available for live chat during business hours. A must have app, between custom-fields and Mr. Arigato for automation you have endless possibilities for customizing and automating so many processes. I use Mr Arigato to auto tag as well as auto add products to collections when they meet a specific criteria - such automation saves tremendous time and also prevents mistakes! I also needed to combine a bunch of fields into one, I asked Bonify support team and they were able to quickly guide me on how to do what I need quickly - THE SUPPORT IS OUTSTANDING A highly recommend and I don’t usually highly recommend so they really deserve it. Keep up the great work guys.

I asked the team for a custom workflow and within 24 hours (wasn't even a customer yet) they whipped it up. Upon importing the new workflow to our shopify store, it was all set up! This automation is saving us huge time and money and with Arigato it's been easy and smooth. Their support team is available and responds inside of a business day. Great app so far, and stellar customer service! They also walked me through a fairly sophistication notification set up. I had a chat open with their staff for a good 45 minutes and they were there throughout, stayed super on top of it, and were very patient with me (not the savviest tech-wise). Highly recommend them!

We wanted to display Inventory by location on our site, and also have the inventory of a virtual location dictate the "Allow overselling" policy of the product. ie, when Virtual warehouse 3 becomes zero stock, turn off overselling of product which only fulfills from main location. The team assisted us by adding more options into the App and talked us through setting it up. Now we manage inventory the way WE want to, not limited by Shopify's "Fullfill from" rules. This is the most useful (and fun to use) app I use on my store!! It does exactly what it says plus also really easy to use in ways and to automate repetitive things I do every day. I was originally going to have a private app created to solve these problems though as Mr Arigato allowed me to solve these problems elegantly this is no longer necessary. I also found the customer support from the developers to be above and beyond any other app I've used (and I've used quite a number in my time - haha). They even added the ability to create a redirect to the order status page url so customers can go to a shortened URL and be redirected to the right spot. This is definitely worth trying and as far as I know the only app that allows you to automate your website.

Having experienced Shopify Flow (a Plus exclusive app), we've been looking for something to take it's place & do an awful lot of the day-day "stuff" that we knew we could be automating. From reminders to reorder stock when it hits or drops below a certain level, to auto cancelling & refunding blacklisted customers, to setting up a Order Filter for customers that select "Express" at checkout so they never get missed, plus a whole lot more - Arigato is nailing it! We had a couple of niggles getting started but John was all over it & couldn't have been more helpful! :D (largely user error ;)) Really looking forward to saving a shed load of time & seeing where the app goes in the future. Plus, auto ordering that Domino's pizza when a select order lands. Yup, seriously. Thank you, guys! We'll be recommending Arigato for sure!

Great app, especially after Test Center has been added. Let's you generate all sorts of workflows. For me the selling point was the ability to send emails based on a product. And customer support is fantastic. You don't get that kind of personalized customer service too often anymore. 5+ Stars!

Wow! The possibilities are endless with this app. Within hours of installing it, I reached out to the devs about a workflow that I was interested in - tagging and making a note to an order when a customer buys 2 of a certain product. Well, it wasn't available so Johh went and created a custom workflow for me. Mind you this is all while on the free tier. This app has so many amazing possibilities. Fantastic app, fantastic support!

I used this app to automate adding information to a customer's order under certain conditions. I cannot speak highly enough of FREE onboarding and consultation provided by Mr. Arigato's staff.
