We were a NoFraud customer for many years and stayed on through the transition to Wyllo AI. Unfortunately, the service declined after the rebrand — decision accuracy on orders was noticeably worse than what we'd come to expect, and we ultimately moved to another fraud-protection provider. The reason for this review, though, is what happened on the way out. While closing out our remaining open disputes, we deliberately set the app to test mode so we would not be charged for orders, keeping it installed only to retain access to the case management tools. Wyllo then reactivated our account to live mode without asking us. We learned of it from an email sent by a senior member of their customer success team after the fact, telling us their technology had detected that our services "may have been accidentally disabled" and had already re-enabled them. It was not disabled in error — it was off by our deliberate choice — and at no point before reactivating did anyone ask us whether the change was intentional. Orders were charged in the meantime. The money is not the point. The point is that a vendor changed our store's configuration and turned a billable service back on based on their own assumptions, informing us only after it was done. That is not how a trusted partner behaves. We have reported the incident to Shopify and uninstalled the app. If you use this app, watch your billing closely — especially if you ever pause or test-mode the service.

They are very receptive and responsive. I do wish the new dashboard showed the contact status, but I understand that's in the works, and in the meantime it is easy enough to switch to classic view. We've spent maybe a few hours total on it over the last almost two years. That's not an exaggeration. It is truly set it and forget it, and it just works. For how much value it delivers, the ongoing lift is practically zero. On the results side, it's been a no-brainer. We've cut fraud significantly, saved our team a ton of time that used to go toward manually reviewing orders and dealing with chargebacks, and (the part that not everyone thinks about) we're actually making more money now. If you're relying on Shopify's built-in payment filters, you're declining legitimate orders and leaving revenue on the table. If I could give it 10 stars I would. This is a MUST have app for any e-commerce site. We went from having multiple fraud issues to none at all. There are still ways for fraudsters to try to use our/your site as a test so constant communication with the app team is the best. They are SUPER knowledgeable and always willing to help by changing some of the necessary settings to prevail the fraudsters as they get smarter, but never better than NOFRAUD! I have been using NoFraud for over a year on another platform and now that we are moving to Shopify, I am making sure we use it here as well. We used to research suspected fraud orders manually which is very time consuming and a bit risky. I've been with NoFraud for 8+ years and had excellent results. Not one chargeback the entire time with them. It also has helped me save sales that I might have cancelled because it was unclear if it was a safe transaction so it pays for it's self. I recently move to Shopify and the fraud alerts have been helpful but not as thorough as with No Fraud. The 2 working together is the ideal combination.

NoFraud is an exceptional service for our business. On one hand, their set-it-and-forget-it model is absolutely perfect for our day to day business and their ROI is clear. For the bulk of fraud, we're covered. But what makes NoFraud special is their human touch. It sets them apart from almost ever other service we use: if we're see anything weird, there is a person we can reach out to. They've helped us hone our returns policy to fight returns fraud; they've helped us identify strange payment patterns; and their algorithm is fast enough to not impact conversion rate. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice... actually there won't be a once or a twice because you're blocked by No Fraud. If you exchange money for goods or services, No Fraud needs to be part of the plan. They will stop nearly all fraud, and make it too hard to come back and do more. They are excellent at this, their primary task. Beyond stopping fraud, No Fraud is the most consistent and reliable vendor we have any type of partnership with. None of the API mess ups, missed refunds, fumbled cancels, and other poor performance we've occasionally had to have a truth-telling meeting with a vendor about. Gold standard at all nuts and bolts interactions. Excellent responsiveness to questions. And yes, nearly all fraud stopped.

Orders are screen and marked Pass / Fail in under 5 minutes. They're even able to protect orders that Shopify might have flagged as potential fraud. I do not recommend this application. I just got a bill for more that $3K. They lock you into a long term contact and the service is of low value, in our experience. It cost me $11K+ over a year’s time . I asked to cancel several times because I didn’t want to keep throwing my money away. And they refused. Bad customer support. Basically thieves.

We've been using NoFraud for a few years and would recommend it tremendously. Occasionally something will get flagged as fraudulent when it isn't, and they're very responsive and are often able to get it verified in a timely fashion.

No Fraud are quite honestly the best Fraud prevention system we have ever come across in this marketplace, and we have been with a few different ones before coming to NF. They are EXCELLENT at stopping the massive amount of fraud we attract on our site. Due to the nature of both the product and the demographic of customer we have, we found that our fraud levels were so high, and the amount of admin and back end work we were having to do with previous fraud systems was both clunky and time consuming. Since moving to NF, we no longer get involved in the filing of chargebacks, and the AI system that runs automatically on our site means that as soon as orders come in, they are checked using their advanced technology and voided (if necessary) and the order is cancelled and never reaches our fulfilment centre. This has been a criteria that we were non negotiable on, and NF were the only company we found that could uphold this level of prevention. Their customer service and account management is second to none. We would heavily advocate them to anyone who is looking for a full spectrum solution to fraud. Our focus can now rest solely on our ecommerce business and we trust fully in the fact that NF are taking excellent care of our site and any potential attacks in the future.

This app has truly helped our warehouse filter out any fraudulent orders, as well as helped to alleviate any return/refund processing in the backend. It automatically scans the purchase location, credit card and IP address to discern the various ways the order is valid or invalid. (NoFraud requires a minimum of $50,000 in monthly processing volume for chargeback protection eligibility.) This equals out to $600,000.00 annually. I think this information should be available before people install your app.

We installed the application just before the 2021 holiday season, expecting a rush and we wanted to be protected but we also wanted to be sure we weren't rejecting perfectly good orders. After extensive research and comparisons, and calls, and walkthroughs.. you get the idea. We decided on NoFraud. Long story short we could not be happier. Our season went off without a hitch. All our transactions went smoothly, all covered by NoFraud. The rollout leading up to this was just as smooth. We have Shopify Plus so we have some custom integrations with our ERP and processor and it was much easier than we expected, added some tags to support the NoFraud process and we were up and running in less than a week on all our sites. The NoFraud team is responsive, helpful, and proactive. They are also very willing to hear feedback which is a breath of fresh air these days. All of that adds up to some serious value for your buck compared to others.

One of my fav apps! We are constantly targeted by online scammers and lost thousands prior to this app, we then implemented a pretty manual process to vet each credit card order that came through but very time consuming. This app does the vetting process in seconds and or if unsure they will conduct a manual review. The usual vetting takes seconds with a simple "pass or fail" tag and off you go. If for some reason they pass an order and it still gets hit with a chargeback, they credit you back! You need to have the "chargeback protection" plan in order to be covered but its totally worth it as it pays for itself.

The streamlined process is clear, direct, easy to use & frees up A LOT of time. The stress of managing this would literally keep me up at night ... the question of "should I ship" weighs on all of us smaller sellers. I used to hand view ever single order following up with the customer, verifying ID & even doing that would STILL result in fraud chargebacks OR cancellations. ------------------------------------------ - -OH! One of the best unintended features is their blacklist feature. That one little features is an absolute incredible value add because it just drops us an email in our inbox with a big ol' FAIL. From there, you can check your shopify notes & verify the issue (usually non-receipt claims). So, if we could have a few different notations not just black list but: RED FLAG: WARNING - HUMAN CLAIMS NON-RECEIPT. SHIP WITH SIGNATURE. That would cut down on the time to investigate. -------------------------------------------------------------------- - -I do have one last & VERY ambitious ask. I would love to see an add on for protection against "non receipt claims" similar to Paypal. Where we ship & they cover, offering full coverage & the app just surcharges & crowdfunds the 1% or 2% on the back-end with reasonable limits (such as under $500). NoFraud has been absolutely amazing. Before NoFraud, we were suffering from a barrage of fraud attempts, which resulted in tens of thousands of dollars of chargebacks. Since installing the attempts have fallen a lot. The fraud networks communicate with each other to identify easy prey. Once you install this app, they will give up hope. No documentation/YouTube tutorials, extremely overwhelming app. Cancels orders that aren't classified by Shopify as High Fraud but does its own classifications. So basically it cancelled orders from people that weren't trying to scam us but due to not finding the button to activate the automatic cancellation of fraud orders (main feature in my opinion) the orders that were fraud, slipped through. Not a good app for me, the second star is for the kind customer support but I need a set up guide not someone I have to ask 20 questions.

NoFraud saved our business from fraudsters! Prior to integrating the NoFraud app in our Shopify store we were literally under siege in a losing battle with the fraudsters. We didn't know where to turn and nothing was working. We tried different levels of fraud protection from our merchant processor but that proved to be very problematic because a lot of valid charges would end up getting declined and that was costing us sales. This is a very bad app. Installing this app makes your website very slow. We have uninstalled this app, yet a lot of its code is present in our theme which has not been deleted. We had emailed him for this but we have not received any reply. VERY VERY VERY BAD!!

We had a lot of fraud before that, which when we tried to handle on our own, even with all the free Paypal and other filters, still resulted in fair sized losses every month . Incredible app and amazing team to work with. They pass a lot of orders that Shopify would've failed, having better knowledge and research regarding those customers, yet we haven't had ONE chargeback yet. They know exactly what they're doing. I once questioned one of their choices but they explained to me everything that's going on behind the scenes and why they passed a certain customer. This app changed everything for us. We used to be fraught with fraud, getting chargebacks left and right, but since we started working with the NoFraud team, we've yet to encounter one, while accepting MORE orders. I've tried other similar apps, but NoFraud is my favorite. It's very easy to use. Very rarely do we get a false positive (where an order is real/no fake, and transaction identified as potentially fraudulent and needs add'l info from customer). But so far my favorite feature is the ability to white-list known repeat customers, reducing fees we pay.

do not use this company. took $550 from my account out of the blue. even if you get hit with a fraud case and win all they do is give you credit for service. which means you still take on all the risk. this company should change name to BigFraud. you have no control over what orders you want or dont want protection. so that means you will pay extra for paypal for no reason. customer service is a joke, 1 person show named tracy.

We originally started using Signifyd for fraud prevention. SIgnifyd started off ok and our orders were being checked and guaranteed. Then gradually more and more orders were declined for no good reason. Our customer service team ended up doing their usual checks with social media/ directory enquiries and contacting the customer, to find that actually the customer was most likely genuine. We then had to feed this all back to Signifyd so they could make a second decision. And again, sometimes they approved it and sometimes they would decline just because it was going to a different address. We were having to cancel orders as Signifyd were not guaranteeing them. Basically, we seemed to be doing as much work, if not more work. before we installed Signifyd. And receiving fewer results with Signifd. Then we came across NoFraud. The customer platform is more user-friendly and easy to navigate. They tag orders with responses, which helps us identify an order and filter orders. NoFraud proactively does the review for us which means we free up our time to focus on the genuine orders. And most importantly more orders are guaranteed. Which means faster processing, picking and packing, and much happier Urban Industry customers :) The support has been amazing and the installation was unbelievably quick. I would definitely recommend using No Fraud to help grow your business.

Have had this service now for a short while and I have noticed a significant difference. This is probably by far the best service to use for credit card fraud protection. I believe this app is so valuable because it works, it has a very strong AI which is different than the others. This app can catch fraud others can't. Although some others provide money back if a fraud-person / criminal steals from your website and steals from other IDs, this app prevents the headache from happening in the first place. It's always better to maintain a good record and not entertain, wasted time from fraudsters. Go with this app, it's worth it.

Just installed this--and No Fraud stopped a cc transaction within an hour of installing the app.. I am in the trial period--but must say that this app is one of the best. A must have for any store. I am VERY satisfied with the app. Alot less worry on chargebacks--what a relief! Its been 2 weeks and if this had a ten star rating system, i would give it a 15. This is a must for any business-this app is by far the best and it has picked up all high risk orders that were placed on my store. These guys are a lifesaver! 8/19/17 UPDATE- I had orders prior to installing this app. ALL came back as chargebacks-all were green checked thru shopify as good to go--over $3500 in chargebacks. Shopify only has limited processing for orders--do yourself and your business a HUGE favor and get this app. It is very stressful dealing with these chargeback orders, because this money comes out of your pocket--protect yourself and get this app.

I'm one of their earlier customers. I made the switch to nofraud because of their better % pricing of chargeback insurance compared to their competitors, but they no longer offer this to me (due to my high $ amount transactions...I guess even for them it is too much risk and won't be profitable). So, I'm currently not paying for chargeback insurance because they either don't offer it to me anymore or because it is too expensive in my opinion (I forget, haven't looked at their policies in awhile), but we're on their "per transaction fee" model in which they just give me their recommendation of if they would recommend proceeding with the order. I like that they have some code that I put on my website for customer's to read me a unique number that basically informs nofraud of the customer's IP address (so they can use this as evidence of the customer's location when they are placing a phone order...so nofraud can replace my or my employee's IP address who are entering the order with the person's IP address who is placing the order).
