Absolutely fantastic app and outstanding customer service. Although the app may seem to have relatively basic customisation, you can ask Matt almost anything and he's very quick to respond and code in your requests for you. He's also said a lot of the features he's been able to customise for me will be introduced to the app shortly, making the process even simpler! Hands down the greatest feature for me is the ability to set different timers for different countries. There are a lot of apps out there that don't have this feature, which is a nightmare if you ship worldwide. Cannot recommend this app highly enough!

So far, so good! I've only had the app for a few days and Mat has already been really helpful, helping to customise the look so it meets my store branding perfectly. I was searching everywhere for an app that showed a countdown for dispatch, not delivery, and this is the only one I could find that does it properly. I does seem a little too expensive in comparison to other apps in my store, and it's still too early for me to determine whether the countdown is driving urgency in sales yet, so I will just be monitoring it closely to figure out if the cost of the app is justifiable with a potential increase in conversion rate. I will come back and update my review after a month or two of testing it to confirm whether I will be keeping it running.

The support is slow. The app lacks the ability to search for products / collections which are configured with the app. It's too cumbersome to go through the list. Also, the cart items are not always (or very slowly) updated and do not always show with the delivery date data.

We have been using this Order Deadline app for about 3 months on our Shopify Plus stores now and absolutely love it. It's embedded on all 5 of our international stores - the USA store is shotkam.com/camera for anyone who wants to see the seamless integration. The app appears on our product page, buy page, and pop-out/Ajax cart. We program how long it takes to deliver to each country and when we are on holiday. Before the app, we manually changed the delivery dates each day, so this app has saved a ton of man-hours and is virtually fool-proof to use. Mat Brummit is the main developer and responds within only a few hours; he's incredible. Extremely knowledgeable and ready to grow/improve the app for our international needs.

Works really nicely, just how I'd hoped. I've added a countdown to the cut-off for our expidited next-day delivery option. I've turned it off for products which are printed on demand, and been able to add an arrival date for out of stock products (by having a brand category, and most of my products coming from one supplier per brand, made this easy). One thing that woudl be great is to have multiple options so you can say 'Order by noon for next day shipping, or order by midnight for two-day service' - I requested this from the developers and they're looking into something similar in the future. But in the meantime, it does what I wanted, and I'm happy to pay for it as it is already.

Mat from the developer (Evil Egg, what a great name!) was incredibly helpful with the three queries I bombarded him with (I'm not very technical) - I absolutely LOVE Order Deadline. It is everything my site was missing and I'm kicking myself for not installing it sooner, my sales increased by around three-fold from day one of having it in place. Being able to put the estimated delivery day in the order confirmation has reduced enquiries and it has made pre-order items much clearer too. On top of that, being able to select which days I'll be on holiday, in advance, saves me a LOT of time and effort and looks much more professional. I've been using this app for just over a year now and it's been really helpful making sure our customers know when their order will be dispatched. We can also quickly change a certain day if we are unable to post etc. Great customization features with lots of options, most we don't use yet such setting a timer to pre-order a product. We will probably look at the other features when they are needed in the future. Customer service is great and very helpful. Overall a great experience and fairly simple to set up after you work out how things link (can be a bit confusing at first, but worth the trouble)

Great app and even better service/support. We installed the app and got it working quickly. It offers a great deal of flexibility with regards to the settings etc. We offer a lot of pre-orders where people can buy a product in advance of it actually arriving (we set it up as in stock tracking the inventory and adding a note to the top of the product page) and the product override function allows us to change the text above the timer from "Want it dispatched today? Order within" to, for example, "Due in stock week beginning Monday, 5th August". We wanted to change the look so the timer fitted in with store and Mat made the changes quickly and efficiently. We had one issue where the timer was still showing when a customer clicked from a variant that was in stock to a variant that was out of stock but again Mat resolved this updating the app so now it is working flawlessly. Thanks Mat!

The app is already pretty fantastic as is without any customization. We saw immediate increases in conversion after installation and have now been using Order Deadline for a couple of months. Just today we had encountered an issue and contacted Order Deadline support for the first time. Usually when reaching out to shopify app developers, it can take quite some time to get a response. Perfect for our store! This is the app we needed so that customers are able to understand our shipping methods. Easy to set up with many customizations ready to use and user friendly. Up and running in a few minutes and lets you control almost every aspect of the data that displays. That being said, there are three things to improve (little ones IMO): 1-Spanish Localization its not automatic in texts (but you can make it in 2 minutes manually) 2-Maybe some more documentation about custom styling would be awsome so you can match your stores identity without reaching customer support. 3-Maybe a little box to show the result before going live, although you can activate/deactivate in one click. Top App!

An essential app for our business and probably yours too. To reduce our customer service requests with questions about the shipping, we wanted to let our customers know in advance when to expect their order, and with pre-order date function and out of stock message this is a must-have an app on your Shopify store. The high optimisation, like override functionalities and other overrides in the app, is worth the monthly subscription monie. I have been using this app for a couple of months now and I love it! Offers great customizing options. Allows my customers to see the shipping date and it allows me to override the default settings on any products or collections if needed, which is useful to me as I have some products that are drop shipped to the customer and that are made to order that takes a longer to ship. Also allows you to customize the wording to fit your needs. I have tried a few other apps and this one is by far the BEST!

I can see why this app has only 5 stars. Very nice and many options, particularly like the cart feature. This has really helped us and we were constantly trying to improve how customers see when they get their products, or when they are dispatched. It was also useful to us as we have different products with different lead times. Eg Product A is dispatched the same day when ordered before 1pm. and product B is dispatched the same day when ordered before 12. All this is possible with this app. Top work guys and look forward to any enhancements in the future. Thanks

Seems it is a Shopify thing, and they've done everything to maximize speed and have even reached out to Shopify to give them some suggestions to help. It was never a deal-breaker as its really only a half-second time, but extra points for great customer service.

The app is easy to use and dependable. The only issue is not with the app so much as customers not reading well. We countdown to the day it will SHIP. Customers are constantly reading the word ship as the word delivered (and complain when their package does not arrive the next day). Order Deadline allows all caps and also a second line for further explaining (and that helps a bit). Maybe offering colors would be a nice addition. We would like to make the word SHIPPED red so it really stands out. Great app. and totally worth it!

Within 24 hours of installing the app, support was amazing and had us up & running even with some minor tweaks. We are in the US so the wording on the banner needed to be a little different. It was no issue at all & easy to change. Service could not have been quicker either - we are 6 hours behind the support so in our afternoon, they responded in their night. This app is perfect, we had a little trouble setting it up with us having a custom theme. However support is top notch, i emailed and within minutes the developer replied back and resolved the slight issue at hand. Easiest app to use in Shopify in terms of layout design and installation, ZERO coding required. You can create product, collection or static lead times in a second with appealing pre-built wording or make your own wording Excellent customer service. I needed +40 days lead time on some of my products and Mat created new options for me in secs. Email response was almost like chatting. Great app, looks great and works seamlessly with my theme. I like that I can choose to exclude some products from the countdown which take us longer time to prepare. Nonetheless, the best thing about the app must be Mat, the developer. I had a question on using one of the features and he was quick to respond, sent me useful info with screenshots and even gave me tips and suggestions on how to get the best out of the app for our domestic and international orders. This is undoubtedly one of my favourite apps and I recommend it to all fellow store owners.

Wonderful app - first of all, visually appealing - comes with four custom clock styles. I am able to use it in two ways, to countdown to dispatch/delivery on items that ship daily, and to countdown to the dispatch/delivery of preorder items to encourage people to buy the products that are not yet in stock. The developer did some wonderful custom work to make this all flow perfectly with our store -he was diligent and very clear in instructions on how to use the custom tools which ultimately sold me on the app and I will continue to implement it on my store!

This app is is perfect. Its actually just what we were looking for. It looks great aesthetically and functions very well. Its easy to navigate and set up which is a huge plus. No coding was required at all which was really nice so therefore, as soon as we installed the app it was ready to go. Mat even made some really cool changes and now the new updated version has four different design options available and things can be modified quite easily. More than anything the support from Mat is A+ thank you for a great experience. Glad we found this app.

Super impressed with Matt and his dedication to getting our problem sorted. After installing the app we got an email from him offering help with setting up. After a few issues with getting the app to work on our site Matt worked out of business hours to get it resolved in less than 24 hours. We chose the app to inform customers of the turnaround times so they know the delivery dates before they order. The BEST customer service I have ever received!! Matt promptly made some handy tweaks to the app to customise it for our store and works tirelessly to ensure we're 100% happy.
