Shopify has introduced the new district address field for Peru. Parcelify currently only allows filtering by City. Are there any plans to support the new District field in shipping rules?

I have been using Parcelify for many years and have multiple Shopify stores that use it. Every time I have a question, I get a thorough answer explaining exactly what to do. Just had a question today, and within minutes, a detailed explanation with screenshots was provided. Kudos to the Parcelify team for not only great support but also an excellent product that handles so many different and complex shipping scenarios. As you can see, I highly recommend giving them a try.

When looking at a shipping app, we looked at a few, but opted for Parcelify as it was flexible enough to work with our needs and also gives us options for future growth. We did have a couple of issues, one was activating CCS on Shopify, the other related to migrating from a Dev store to live. I have to say, the support from the team at Parcelify was excellent, and helped get both issues sorted really quickly and importantly painlessly. Well Done guys, great product, fantastic support.

I was looking for a shipping rule solution, as my customers were often getting charged for 2 lots of shipping if buying a certain item along with something else, which I wasnt comfortable with. I had a few issues setting this up, as I have quite complex shipping rules, and also zero ability when it comes to anything to do with computers. I was getting stressed out as I couldn't work out what I was doing wrong. I eventually messaged the support and instantly wished I would have done it much sooner. Alex was great, put me at ease, reassuring me that my shipping rules would be sorted. Just like magic, in no time at all, Alex replied confirming that my rules had been set up, and asked me to check and confirm. Everything worked as expected, and I cannot thank Alex enough. I cannot recommend Parcelify enough. Setting up a store with highly specific shipping needs and a large catalog is a daunting task, but this app handles it flawlessly. It is incredibly extensive and manages my complicated shipping rates across different countries with ease. What truly sets them apart, however, is the customer service. The support I’ve received while setting up our store has been absolutely spectacular. They're responsive, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful. If your business has complex shipping requirements, this is easily one of the most essential tools you can have in your Shopify stack.

The biggest advantage is that it doesn’t require Carrier Calculated Shipping (CCS), which makes it super easy to use even on Basic Shopify plans. Setting up shipping rates is really flexible, especially for the UK, with detailed Postcode Area and Outward Code lists for UK mainland, saving us a ton of time gathering all the info ourselves. The support team is also very professional and helped us solve any issues. The only improvement we’d love to see is a live chat support option, so we could get help more directly and in real-time instead of relying on emails.

I’ve only just started using Parcelify and would usually prefer to use a product for longer before leaving a review, but the level of service alone deserves five stars. Alex and the Parcelify team have been instrumental in finally allowing me to launch my website. I sell fragile vintage furniture and work with multiple couriers operating along specific routes throughout NSW, QLD, VIC and other major cities. Previously, I was providing individual shipping quotes for every order. I opted for the White Glove setup service, and there is no way I could have implemented this system on my own. There were easily 60+ emails back and forth while troubleshooting and refining the setup. Alex helped me develop a workable shipping structure where pricing is calculated based on both weight and postcode. I also sell homewares with flat rate Aust wide. Throughout the process, he was patient, professional and incredibly generous with his time—even when I upgraded my Shopify plan and moved from universal shipping to CCS mid-setup. Everything is working smoothly so far. I would highly recommend Parcelify to anyone who needs highly customised shipping rules. If more than five stars were possible, I’d give them.

2025 update: Parcelify have introduced some new options when offering rates, again I had a few teething issues between the Shopify shipping interface, and Parcelify, but Alex was there to solve everything and get us up and running nice and quickly! Still super happy with this app!! We've been with Parcelify for nearly six years now and recently made the move from their Legacy version to the 2.0 version. We have some complex rate set ups that tool a bit for me to get my head around in the new version but Alex from Parcelify was there every step of the way assisting me and ensuring that everything was set up correctly before we went live with the new rates. It was a seamless changeover and Alex is an absolute credit to the team at Parcelify. If I could give them 10 stars for the service and support received, I would!

Since we moved our platform to Shopify, our biggest pain point has been the way they handle stacking of shipping charges for multiple vendors or ship points. Having talked to multiple developers, Shopify Customer Service and other Shopify customers we were starting to worry this was going to be an unsolvable problem at the moment. I contacted Parcelify, and Alex replied that they had a workaround that they believed would work. He proceeded to send extremely detailed instructions on setting up our shipping profiles to get it to work with their app, and in less than 30 min, our problem was solved! Enormous relief! This application is essential in any store that has multiple product categories. Without it it would be almost impossible to control the rates of the deliveries of our products. Is has some complexity, but the customer service is helpful and responds pretty fast. It's highly recommended.

I've been using Parcelify for over a year now and it's really helped simplify my shipping options when I have a wide variety of products that require different box sizes. I did encounter customers reporting a shipping error at checkout, and reached out to support about the issue. I am rating the Parcelify app 5/5 stars because we have been using it across 3 stores for many years now with no issues. The new version required some getting used to, but we are already seeing the benefits of the new format. It's a solid app, give it a try to see if it meets your needs and continue using without fear that it will 'disappear' in a year or two like others. I am rating the support team (namely Alex M.) 5/5 stars because of: Responsiveness (multiple email exchanges within an hour of submitting ticket) Professionalism (friendly tone, well written messages, clear and concise, never minimizing my problem or passing the buck to Shopify support) Familiarity (problem identified within two email exchanges, temporary fix put into place immediately) Solutions (instructions on long term fix delivered within two hours of ticket submission)

App seems to be working perfectly. We have had no end of problems with customers using our free UK shipping option despite not being located in the mainland UK. But thanks to this app we have been able to exclude these areas and we have been able to offer a discount for orders over a certain amount, which previously we could only do for mainland UK orders. Customer support is also excellent, most replies were within a few hours, sometimes even quicker. Our personal experience was with Patrick who was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.

This app will drastically slow down your website. According to my shopify speed score, it decreased 15 points when i installed it and increased 15 points when i deleted it. For one app to slow your site down by 15 points (which equates to approx 25% of my existing overall score) is unacceptable. It is extremely difficult to configure and i'm not sure that all the features work. They refused to connect over the phone or in a zoom chat and insisted on email only communication however this method was not helpful. They literally emailed me instructions which were a copy and paste job from the instructions already available on their app. It may be a great app if you have only a few products in your store but when you have 100's or over 1000 products probably not going to work for you. And no app is worth slowing down your site by that amount.

We use Parcelify to help us create multiple shipping prices for different charges within the UK that are difficult to account for within the standard Shopify shipping rates (Scottish Highlands/ Isle of Wight etc). It has also been really helpful in setting up carriage discounts based on spend and helping us to charge a delivery surcharge on some of our larger items that we get charged an extra surcharge from our couriers. The initial set up was a little tricky (because of what we were trying to do with a number of exclusions) but the help team are always on hand with helpful explanations of why what we wanted to do hadn't quite worked and point us in the right direction

I only review apps after i've been using them for a while as I beleive it gives a more accurate picture and I've been using this app for a number of years now and have only good things to say. Yes it can be a little complex to understand how to create rules but once you get your head around the logic its not to difficult & its a very powerful app. Most recently we have set this up to charge different shipping rates to our customers in New Zealand who live in Rural delivery areas via a postcode rule. We emailed Parcelify to find out if what we wanted to acheive was possible with a formula and they came back to us quickly with a simple formula to create a rule that works perfectly. In summary the app is reliable, powerful, affordable and the support is top notch. AAA+++ for Parcelify.

Exceptional app. Super stable, and deceptively powerful. We have free local delivery set up along with specific shipping rates for different areas in the UK. I really can't fault this app at all. We've been using it for well over year now and if you're looking for something to sort out your shipping, you need this. It's really good value too. I haven't used the support, so can't comment on that but that says something in itself. Sure, you need to put in an hour or so to figure it out - but it's pretty simple once you get used to it. You also need to be on a Shopify plan that supports carrier rates but if you pay for a basic plan annually, they'll activate it for you if you contact Shopify support. Update - after years of faithful service from this app, today we had an issue. Support was helpful and the issue got fixed (in fact it was nothing to do with the app, something changed on the Shopify end). I always think you can't really rate an app until something goes wrong and you get to see how it gets fixed. Suffice to say, I'm sure I'll be using this app for years to come. Parcelify works for exactly what I wanted to be able to do - offer letter mail rates to customers who only purchase flat items that can be shipped in an envelope. I just ran into a bug that was causing the letter mail rate to show to all customers; the Parcelify support team was amazing and went above and beyond to check that my issue was resolved. Great app and great support. One of my products is bulky and heavy. In Australia, it can be very expensive to ship this product to remote areas. I wanted to implement a rule where shipping was free to all of NSW, Victoria and South East Queensland, as well as Metro Adelaide and Perth. I wanted to have a flat rate surcharge everywhere else. We managed to set this up using a small list of post codes using the "starts with" and "doesn't start with" rules. We also managed to continue offering free shipping across Australia so long as the bulky product is not included in the cart. I needed a lot of help with this and the support team was very quick to respond and very helpful.

I've used this App for multiple Client stores. Gives you more fine control to get Bespoke shipping. I use specifically the Third Party Carrier Calculated Rates. There is normally a bit of configuring you'll need to do with Shopify and the Parcelify team. They are both always very helpful and have awesome support!

By far the best shipping rates application out there. We have very complex restrictions on what products can be sold in what territories due to a vast majority of our products being produced under license from companies such as Disney. With Parcelify we have been able to set rules based on tags to achieve exactly what we needed. Another benefit of Parcelify is that when an issue does (rarely) occur, then the response is really fast and the issue is quickly resolved. I've been speaking directly with Richard, one of the co-founders, and he was extremely helpful with working out what went wrong and is very open to feedback on how things can be improved. The only thing that would take this app to the next level would to be able to make changes in bulk to the shipping rates, as at the moment we would have to go manually through all of them and due to us having rates for every individual country this is a lot of work. But I know Parcelify are planning to bring out a lot of features in the future so the app is just going to get better and better!

Stop The Presses! THIS. If your store uses multiple POD services, especially ones that don’t support carrier calculated shipping prices, then you NEED this app. Parcelify finally enabled us to have a shopping cart with items from different POD providers at the same time, and most importantly support the shipping cost for additional items. Who knew this was so difficult without Parcelify, and we sure did try. We couldn’t have done this without their outstanding support, namely Richard who is one of the main guys over there, who helped us set everything up in no time and on a Saturday! Richard is Michael Jordan level when it comes to Shopify Shipping. And how refreshing it was to receive lightning speed responses in proper American English, as opposed to pretending to be an American. Whilst I'm sure that most businesses on shopify believe they have complicated shipping scenarios to tackle believe me when I say that these guys have the answer. Parcelify works very well at helping you display the rates that you want displayed to your customers. In my case I needed to charge customers differently (based on the packaging required) even though the weight and address might be identical. Shopify's original shipping settings didnt allow me to do that and customers were selecting the wrong shipping method routinely. Thats a thing of the past with Parcelify. The customer service was fantastic (big shout out to Alex and Aaron too) -everything explained clearly and in simple terms to help you go away achieve what you need with the app. The 1 month free trial is great as it allows you time to get everything set up and tested in time. Keep up the good work guys!

Very useful app that has allowed me to implement sur-charges for specific post-codes (UK based), which is real positive. The most important app I use on both of my Shopify stores, allowing me to define UK shipping by postcode area. It uses a system called RegEx which takes a bit of getting used to, but once you've got your head around it is very logical to use. You won't get this set up in 5 minutes, give yourself time to go through it and it can be very powerful getting the results you want. You will need access to the Real-time Shipping feature of Shopify, which is not given as standard. But don't listen to the negative reviews here, you don't need the expensive higher Shopify plans - just pay your Shopify Basic plan subscription for 1 year in advance and speak to the Shopify Gurus who will then give access to Real-time Shipping for free (and paying up-front also gives a discount on the Shopify Basic plan cost). I had an issue with a bit of bug in how I had set up my rates in Parcelify, meaning that some postcodes where not giving the shipping costs I wanted. The support from Parcelify was excellent - shout out to Alex! - who spent time and effort to get my rates RegEx updated so they could cope with all variations of how customers might enter their postcode. If you have specific needs for calculating postage beyond what the Shopify standard postage rates can manage then Parcelify is a great option!

Parcelify is the main reason I'm able to move my store over to Shopify, simply because I sell items such as stickers and pins that are nearly impossible to calculate a fair price for with Shopify's native options being only Pricing and Weight. With Parcelify's custom rate options filtered through criteria such as Product Tags (and much more), I was able to finally create the best shipping rates for my customers in Shopify! The fact that this is 7.99/month also, which is the cheapest I've seen around, is a huge bonus since the shipping rate options were all I needed. Their guide to using the app is super thorough, and even if there's an error you can't figure out, their support is personable and helpful, and they really take the time to figure out exactly what you need to make your store work (thanks again Richard)!

Very versatile shipping app that lets you get into the nuts and bolts of the shipping price. It makes per-item fixed shipping prices possible (something that should have been included as part of your Shopify store without paying extra for an app). The logic involved with programming your shipping prices into Parcelify is easy make mistakes with, but fortunately the customer support is Very Good, and within a day of asking for help, you get it. The price is also low, compared to other shipping apps. If Parcelify was easier to understand/use right out of the gate, it would rate 5 Stars. Ive been wondering whether to give this app 4 or 5 stars for some time as it can be really complex. However I came to realise that the reason for this is that UK shipping is a really complicated affair! So complicated in fact, it took me weeks to configure all eventualities. Despite the odd anomaly, this app has given me the ability to configure all sorts of options. In total, I have had to create approximately 120 shipping rates that apply to different scenarios including next day, 2 day, free and pallet shipping. If you have some knowledge of "regular expressions" this is a great help! Also, for all those complaining that you need to be on a higher plan...just go on a yearly subscription and ask Shopify to activate "Shipping Calculator". That is what I did and I remain on the basic plan but pay less for paying annually! Win Win!

Finally got the app to work but having given up and trying others they're much the same. 1. watch the video which is on getting started page (dev site) not docs where it should be and even then it leaves questions. 2. you have to have your countries set in Shopify's settings or the zones you create in the app won't work! Parcelify worked exactly as I imagined it would. Thanks to Alex's awesome, enthusiastic help and instructions, I was able to do all the custom shipping rules needed per product / product set (including setting rates for different qtys ordered, and which countries the product can be shipped to). Tip: if you don't see the rates show up at the beginning, you have to click troubleshoot then sync with Shopify. Only need to do this at the very beginning so that the rules show up on your cart :)

Yay a Shopify to provide a FREE PICK UP / or Click and Collect based on postal codes / zip codes. This app will solve the problem that is repeatedly discussed in the SHOPIFY forums and no one else seems to have found this solution! I can now specify free pick up only if the buyers zip code is in a designated address. Unlike other store owners who are having problems because people choose the free up option when they are miles away creating a time consuming hassle. I had a lot of issues trying to get shipping to work for my store, with the different shipping rules that i needed. I contacted all app providers and Parcelify were the ones to respond swiftly, but also were very helpful and have provided and enormous amount of support (including many examples of how to set up the shipping specific to my needs). Parcelify is powerful enough to handle all the different shipping rules i have needed to run for my store, including having two separate suppliers and different shipping rates for various products and shipping zones. I also can not believe how cost effective Parcelify are with the app charges, for all there app does. Using Webkuls Multi-Vendor Marketplace in conjunction with Parcelify has created a very powerful dropshipping system for us backed by a responsive and helpful support team! We had an unexpected shipping charge issue (from our side) and Pareclify had identified and gave instructions for a resolution within the hour. The only feedback I would give is to highlight the 'add rates' button for new users as I didn't actually spot it in the very top right corner of the app. 5/5 would Parcelify again.

Excellent app that solves the problem of Shopify's restrictive basic postage calculations. Take your time and read the help guide to learn the functions and how to build the equations that form the postage rules. Give yourself time to master the code and you can make some very specific postage rates that solve the problems of real world courier variations. I've been using this for ages now and won't be without it!

8/31/2018 Update: It looks like the original developer sold the app and now Parcelify is a paid app (it used to be free). We previously gave this 5 stars because it was a free app and it performed the intended function well. Now that it is a paid app though it should have a much easier to use interface. Setting up rules is complicated and time consuming. There are certain things that are trivial but add up; they price things in cents instead of dollars, you have to use certain keyboard symbols for and/or etc. They don't have a way to easily exclude US territories etc. It's a good app, but if they want customers to pay for it they should really consider updating the user interface. Original Review: The standard Shopify shipping options are an absolute joke. This app certainly has a learning curve, but once you get the hang of it the power of it is incredible. We are now able to offer all sorts of different shipping options since we can assign them at the SKU level, which is bringing us significantly more profit. You do need carrier calculated shipping to use the app (it's not an app issue, it's a Shopify restriction) which is only available on the Shopify Advanced plan. After some research you can call Shopify and ask for this feature and they will turn it on for $20/MO (you have to call though, this isn't advertised anywhere). If you switch your billing to annual they will also turn this feature on for free (you just call in and ask them to turn it on). Side Note: Shopify includes territories that are not states (Puerto Rico, Guam, Armed Forces Americas, Virgin Islands etc.) in the United States dropdown… so the US rates you setup will default to including those territories. Be sure to exclude them as states in Parcelify if you don't want your USA rates to pull to those territories.

WOW this is an AMAZING app! We had complicated shipping needs including some things that don't ship outside the UK, some things that ship international and we just couldn't see how we could set up rules to suit in native shopify. But parcelify came to our rescue. It's not as simple to set up as some reviews suggest if you aren't used to using these sorts of logic rules. BUT the customer support was brilliant and very patient. Once we got the hang of how the rules work we were able to sort out all our shipping needs and couldn't recommend parcelify highly enough.

Wow! With only the native Shopify shipping setup, we had to offer ALL customers our full range of shipping, delivery and pick-up options. This left customers free to choose things that they didn't qualify for. Problem solved! With Parcelify we created custom offerings based on postal code. You can even tack on a premium for oversized items, items tagged in a special way, or with particular SKU number. This app is our best one! Five stars, for sure.

Parcelify is a simple, but powerful (and FREE) app. Figuring out the logic and how to appropriately setup the rates can be confusing, but a few quick questions emailed to the developer helped and the rest was a little trial and error. This is may be somewhat of an advanced tool for many Shopify users and may require some learning to use, but definitely worth the time. Honestly, Shopify should have something like this built in to begin with because it makes so much sense. Instead of paying for expensive apps that had options we really didn't need or want, we were able to setup different shipping rates and exclude certain items from those rates using product SKUs through this app. I honestly don't understand the negative reviews and they are probably due to people not understanding how to use the app.

This app is not good for those of us that have different vendors that have set shipping rates. The app gives the customer options to pick a shipping rate if the cart has different vendor items for purchase. This means one or more of the vendors items would not have shipping charged to their item. The customized shipping is awful to navigate and I'd advise against it. It's just not completely multiple vendor customization friendly.

This is a very good app. Our shop had one specific product that had a lithium-ion battery and required special shipping arrangements for different countries. We were able to execute this successfully. We had some trouble getting it to work at first but after a bit of patience. Christian took some time out of his busy schedule to fix our problem. The problem we had was having spaces when adding the country codes to the filters. We wanted to exclude the US and Canada. We input US | CA and the correct way is US|CA with no spaces. This is exactly what we were looking for! After trying too many apps to get a simple "Local Pickup" option at checkout BUT only limit it to customers with specific zip codes around our warehouse - we were frustrated and almost ready to hire a developer to develop something for us. Then out of no where - PARCELIFY. This app allows us to do exactly what we needed. A little regex magic to include all the needed zip codes and we were set to go. When we did run into an issue support was extremely quick to respond. The developer behind this small but powerful app even open sourced it. I was really happy to come across this app. I offer free personal hand-delivery to customers that live in the 3-county Capital Region of my state where 99% of my business is advertised to. The only way for me to offer that option is to put the details on the shopping options list. But if a customer from outside the area (ie: anywhere else in the Country) orders from my store, there is nothing stopping them from choosing free shipping - which comes directly out of my profits. Unfortunately, this app is only for Advanced Shopify plans. My store is not busy enough yet to justify upgrading so unfortunately I cannot use this app.

The customer will still see and be able to select "Free Shipping" option (and of course, they would). Wish this app has a video tutorial at least. Shopify falls short when you have products that require truck shipping. I tried a bunch of paid apps before this one and found that most are US based and are not set up for Canadian freight companies. Another app in the store showed promise but wouldn't work with Canadian FedEx ltl accounts. I have established rates with many Canadian freight companies, some local, some national that will probably never interface with shopify. What this app allowed me to do was create shipping rates that would populate in the checkout for products that were too heavy to ship by Canada Post, FedEx and Ups. I was able to select products by sku that would trigger the truck freight rate and then calculated the rate based on the subtotal of the cart. It works pretty slick and has a lot more flexibilty to calculate rates by weights and more. Prior to this app, I created a message asking the customer to request a freight rate when no rates were available for those items that couldn't ship with C Post, FedEx and Ups and people would abandon many carts. Now the customer can see a rate and I ship with the freight company of my choice. No need for special account integrations with multiple carriers. I also used this app to apply a free shipping rate for a single product. I introduced a new product in my store and wanted to offer free shipping on it, and if the customer added a second item to the cart, calculated shipping rates would apply and the free shipping offer would disappear. With Parcelify, I am able to create a 'shipping rate' and apply a variety of filters to qualify it to appear. In my case, I was able to apply an individual product filter to receive the rate. I also only wanted to offer the free shipping rate to residents of Canada so I made another requirement for this shipping rate that only addresses with the country code 'CA' get to see the free shipping rate. So how does it work in the cart? What Parcelify does is it displays the free shipping rate in the checkout if the customer's address is from Canada and if the product is the one I selected. Parcelify doesn't suppress the calculated shipping rates, they are still showing but the free shipping rate is displayed at the top of all of the shipping options so it is easily seen. The Parcelify free shipping rate for this product will disappear if the customer puts another product in the cart because I also set the filters to require that all products in the cart must match the product that I selected in the filter, otherwise the free shipping rate will disappear. Parcelify allows for great degree of filtering options and additional weight and price based rates. PS. There are some reviews from some whinners saying the app is not free and you need calculated shipping. Here are the facts. My store is on the basic $29 plan. Call Shopify and prepay an annual store subscription and Shopify will give you calculated shipping on the basic plan. That's how I got it, now you know how to get it.

Although not all inclusive, this add in does help you specify shipping based on specific attributes, such as weight, product sku, item price, etc. There are a few drawbacks you should be aware of: *This will NOT allow free shipping on one product, while charging for another in the same order - If one meets the criteria the entire order does (or if you set it to the reverse, if one fails the entire order fails to meet it) *This will not incorporate the shipping estimates of other shippers, or even allow estimations based on a formula for location of recipient (outside of state or country codes, you can set the price with this...but manually, the value will remain as you set it and not change based on current rates. You can put a set rate for any country, individual state, or even zip code, but the process of creating an accurate price list would take so long that the rates would change before you finish). Great for known values on a few items, not so efficient for varying values on many items. *There is absolutely NO automation, do not expect it to adjust to added or removed products, a new vendor, or changing shipping rates. This is entirely manually entered. *There is a minor knowledge of formatting that is required, but not stated unless you look at the help page. IE: "exclude product sku: 1234, 3343, 4444" is incorrect, where "exclude product sku: (1234)|(3343)|(4444)" is correct, with no example or correction where it needs to be entered. Worse yet, it allows you to enter data incorrectly, and even saves it, but the desired result will not occur and no error is given.

All I can say is WOW and THANK YOU SO MUCH! Shipping rates have always been something that I've struggled to get my head around, but the developer Christian has been so patient and helpful in assisting. Although it took me a while to figure everything out since I can be a bit slow, with Christian's help, I've managed to sort everything out and it's SUCH A RELIEF. Managing shipping rates has always been one of the most painful parts of ecommerce for me, but this app has made things easier to handle and fixed all my problems. I've always avoided other apps because of their monthly fees, and being a small social enterprise business, so the fact that this app is free is just incredible. I honestly can't understand why this app is free. Like other commenters here, we tried out other paid apps and nothing was able to do what we wanted to do. Until we found this app. Using DPD for deliveries in the UK, we need to be able to charge different postage based on postcode. This app made it easy to do (once we had figured out the correct regular expression for the postcodes) We've used Prestashop and Magento before and calculating postage based on postcode has always been a nightmare. Thanks to Parcelify we can now sleep easy.

I'm going to write a bit of a novel here for anyone who was stuck in the same or similar position I was so they know that this app is THE ONE. I’m not exaggerating when I say I wanted to cry when I found this app, after days of searching the forums and contacting shopify to only be redirected to paid apps for something that should absolutely be apart of shopifys default structure, I FINALLY found my saving grace! I cannot thank the creator of this app enough, you have literally saved my shop! I desperately needed to be able to set two price tiers for items totalling first under a set price and then items over, while still being able to use real time calculated shipping options and this miracle app does exactly that, and more, dependant on your needs. For example, shipping for an item/cart totalling $100 and over is set at $15, and an item/cart totalling under $100 is set at $8. But the under $100 for $8 tier, customers can still upgrade to different shipping options (tracked, express etc) on the checkout page, while the tier for items $100 and up can only check out with the more expensive tracked and insured shipping option. This was as far as I know, impossible to do within shopify without an app, and for those of us in countries where tracking and insurance isn't standard, certain items of higher value need to be sent with tracking and this way when customers want to purchase said item(s), it's mandatory to pay for the more expensive tracked shipping. You are also able to offer free shipping on item/cart totals over a set price, as well as section off who pays what by country, postal/zip code etc. I know there are a lot of us out there that have come from Etsy and other platforms where we need shipping based on individual item, and this app will let you do that as well. The instructions are clear and simple, and honestly so much easier than even the paid options in the store. Again, thank you so much for everything you’ve done here, you’re helping so many people and small businesses, what a relief to have found you!

It took me longer to get my hands around the instructions and logic, but once I did we were able to accomplish the variations that we needed for our shipping needs. I experimented with some $15/month apps that were not nearly as flexible and required a learning curve too. I now am convinced that no matter what weird scenario might come up to complicate shipping in the future, that I can figure it out using the logic of Parcelify. (And I still don't have a clue about the advanced options even!) Extremely pleased and thanks for the great tool

This app is a lifesaver for countries where Shopify only has one shipping zone but where local logistics companies have complex rates - especially in Southeast Asia where countries can have hundreds of cities and literally thousands of islands! Really great app. I needed to have certain shipping rules pertaining to certain vendors, namely US shipping only. There is 1 other app that I know of that can offer this feature, but it comes at $50+ a month! The developer was kind enough to respond to my email about the logic applied to this, which is well thought out. I had actually figured out what I needed before he got back to me; if you take the time to really think out the logic needed to apply the rules you need, it's a cinch. I'm very grateful the developer took the time to make this open source app, really saved me a lot of trouble and money! Get this app if you have specific shipping logic needs!

Excellent app, was exactly what i wanted. if you are on the basic shopify plan, you must change your billing cycle to yearly so shopify can allow parcelify access the carrier API, else the app will not integrate to your shop plus you get to save over $20 if you move to the yearly billing cycle.

After being given many non-working apps by Shopify, Parcelify was suggested for use with our simple shipping schema. If you are looking for a simple, defined shipping cost app, this is a wonderful app to use. Read the documentation: https://christianblais.github.io/Parcelify/ before you decide. Support is fantastic from Christian. The app is mostly user friendly but does have a few non-intuitive choices. All in all, you cannot go wrong with this app!

This app in unreal. I mimicked per-product pricing before, but that meant about 100 different shipping rates all based on artificial product weights. Disaster. Parcelify has saved my so much time, and not to mention saving me the headache of updating shipping charges for a shipping sale. I cannot speak highly enough of this app. No need to try any of the others. So far, I can't think of a shipping configuration that this app wouldn't be able to handle. If you have cleverly configured SKU numbers for all your products, you won't need any other app than this to handle your per-product shipping rules. One thing to remember is that prices are recorded as cents and weight is recorded as grams.

I own and run a small business as a solopreneur, so I do it all. I had been trying to figure out how to fix my shipping rate issues. I deliver to my local clients free, but there are a few zip codes that I can't get to cost-effectively. It really had me at my wits end. Enter Parcelify. I can't even tell you how much this app has changed and IMPROVED ON they way I operate. I can offer free shipping where it makes sense, laser focus in on specific zip codes or products, it's amazing. And I've only scratched the surface of what it can do. And finally, Christian is amazing. Pretty helpful app! It could use a cloning feature for entering multiple rates that are similar in detail. Multiple filters within the same shipping rate are treated with AND operators - it might be useful to offer an OR operator, as well. All-in-all, though, Parcelify offered us the solution we needed to work with multiple Canadian postal codes.

What a hit! This app adds filters to your shipping methods and is customizable. We needed to filter by zip code to offer different shipping methods in each one and this made it easy. We were also able to filter by product, add complex validation rules (What happens when a customer buys product A and 1 of Product B or product C or product D) and add filters by price. I wish we could have used this app but unfortunately the current Shopify plan that we are on does not allow us to use this app. Shopify requires us to upgrade to the highest plan or pay $20 per month to get access to it. Unfortunately as a smaller company we didn't see this viable, so will be looking for another app alternative. From what I have read, the Parcelify app does sound very appealing. It would be great if Shopify / Parcelify could offer a free trial before signing up to the monthly fee.

Like many needed a simple solution to address the challenges of shipping product that varies widely in size and weight. Tried unsuccessfully to make it work in the native shipping rate module. Installed this app and in a matter of minutes had painlessly created three custom shipping rates that will work for my business and make our customers happy. The only adjustment I needed to make was to change over some of my product weights from lbs to grams. I'd highly recommend this solution to people who want to amend Shopify's default rates with something more customizable for situations where you want to create additional rates for customers to choose from, say for pickups, or for local delivery, or special cases. The filters are pretty powerful to narrow down the special rates to subsets of products, or for certain delivery areas, to tell Shopify when to show the rate. The author of this app is quick to respond and really helpful. I did have to go elsewhere for a solution because Parcelify lets you add special rates, and is very configurable, but it doesn't interact with live calculated rates. I wanted to create a filter that would select certain products and use UPS rates on just those products, while having tiered rates for the rest of my products. Parcelify wasn't designed to do this. It appears to be great at providing rates for groups or individual products, providing rates for additional items when more than one is added to the order, filtering based on country, postal codes, SKU, product name, brand, even the street name for hyper-local rates, and more. I'm still giving it 5 stars, because for what it is designed to do, it does do it well and the support is uncommonly good. My one suggestion to the author is to provide a little more documentation of how it works and what it can and cannot do. It would aid people who are searching to customize rates. I really thought this might help me, and spend days trying to figure it out, to find out that it was the wrong tool for me. Kind of the author to provide it for free. Note to those that don't have live rates... Apparently to install a shipping app, there is a requirement imposed by Shopify that live rates must be enabled. Pay for your Shopify plan and contact their support and ask them to switch on the live rates for you. They will. Or you can pay an à la carte fee if you want to pay monthly to get live rates. Don't rate this app poorly because you were not aware of this. It will not cost you more to upgrade to the annual plan and then you have it!

Unbeatable. My store is based in the UK and different areas have different postage costs but Shopify shows the UK as one whole shipping area. I tried some paid apps (Shopify recommended ones) which worked to a point. One of them allowed me to add different postcode zones but i couldn't add different levels of delivery service i.e express or economy. THIS app is FREE & it allows you to ad complex rules and solve a problem a paid app couldn't do! I honestly have no idea why Shopify recommends broken paid apps when there are cheaper or free alternatives that work better. The only problem is for ALL shipping zone apps that i found you need the next level account to add real time shipping zones. So Grateful that i found this App. I was being advised at the time that i would need the Better Shipping App which is around $15/month and on top of that i would have to upgrade my Shopify plan from basic which would cost me $79/month (as opposed to the ~$23 i was paying now) JUST so i could get the Real-Time Carrier Shipping option available to me (which is needed to run the app and other apps) By chance i came across Parcelify and it solved all my issues! I was able to set up everything i needed with so much ease. Anything i didnt understand i emailed the Developer who instantly responded and guided me through everything, even making short videos for me to better understand. Amazing App & the Best one i have Installed so far! ***Just a Note: To get this app you have to have access to Real-Time Carrier Shipping which is only activated if you upgrade your plan to $79/month OR changing your billing cycle from monthly to yearly and it will get unlocked. Plus with getting charged yearly you get a small % off so your saving more money!

This app is fan-freakin-tastic! It does weight based shipping and price per item, and each additional item custom rates and it is free - Christian is awesome and actually replies to questions if you get stuck. You can also setup a set of rates for US Shipping and another set for International Shipping! Something that hung me up for a while which I hope might help you is if you want to setup some rates for international, you need to Country Code Exclude US - be sure that you are using the Country abbreviation - so do NOT use United States, rather use US. You can also filter based on Vendor Name, Product Name or SKU (not to mention all of the shipping address fields) - this is far more robust than other apps out there that cost money. The only other app that could do absolutely everything we needed was going to cost $60/mo - Thanks for a great app Christian!

Wonderful app! We are migrating our wholesale company to Shopify and I needed a way to to be able to charge a shipping surcharge for a few large, oversized items. I was about to lose hope when someone mentioned this in one of the online forums. This app allows you to do this and it works perfectly! Also, Christian is very responsive and answered my questions within minutes of emailing him. Considering that this app is free, I was like "WHAAA!??" As others have mentioned, you do need to have Real Time Carrier Rates enabled, which is part of Shopify's $299/month plan; however, I was able to call support and they informed me that as long as I paid for a year in advance of any plan (even the lowest plan offered) they would enable it for me without paying for the advanced plan.

Very simple to use, author responded very quickly with 2 queries. We sell heavy items, so weight and location are important factors when calculating our delivery costs. We use a regex string of postcodes to determine a buyers location - takes time to write up but once it's done, it's done!

Does a great job for what we want it for which was offering free shipping within a specific UK set of post codes. Christian was quick to respond to our questions and we got the store running straight away. As you might see in other reviews, if you want to use this with the Basic shopify package just pay for Shopify annually (just go to Admin -> Account -> Change Billing Period -> Annual) and then ask for the Real-Time Shipping API to be enabled by support.

Was able to install and configure on the Lite plan with Real Time Shipping enabled A La Cart, but the option is not being presented to me as a test user with a filtered ZIP code. UPDATED: Total 5-Star. The developer was VERY responsive to helping and we figured out it was a caching bit on the various sites. This works GREAT for local delivery/pickup by Zip codes! To those reviewing the app just one star because of the required plan, I would ask you to consider that this requirement is imposed by Shopify (bummer I know) and not the developer, and that this requirement is stated there so it shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone. I contacted Shopify and was told that if I pay the yearly suscription for the $29 plan, I was offered the Real Time Shipping thing (beside the discount), so if you're on the $29 plan you could consider asking a Shopify agent if they could enable the option for you with the anual suscription. ANYWAY, for the review, the App was a bit confusing at first with the Regex rules (I had never seen those before in my life!) but after reading a bit about it I was able to set some rules and now my shipping costs are tailored to my needs. Great app and you can't go wrong with it being free.
