Im trying to uninstall or cancel this app but i cant, theres no button, i don't know why, i dont want this anymore and theres no option to unsuscribe this Update: i already uninstalled this months ago, and this has been charging me being uninstalled, so clearly theres a problem, im checking now with shopify support this case, and i still dont know who's gonna reimburse me all this months charged by an app i have not installed.

I installed this app to increase site speed and also for google, it did some good stuff for my site and got a performance increase, It won't solve all your problems but its a great start. I was paying for a seperate image optimizer, but this is included here as well as other optimizations so all in all worth the money.

I've never seen a product worse than this one, and they also want money for it. Pluginspeed broke my site: collection and search pages was broken. Because for this it configured by other app, and pluginspeed modify all files including files of others app even there is comment (Do not edit) or edition is restricted. Pluginspeed wrongly uses 'include' syntax. Same fatal issue as mentioned by others before: Liquid error: include usage is not allowed in this context Recommend only in case you want to broke your site. Image optimization, looks like it works but not very effective Lazy loading is not work, was verified on main, collection and product page. Extremely slow support, if your site will be broken or you will have any requests to support, feel free to wait minimum 2 days for reply.

On my website I have this error and my income is affected, users do not like the error on the website and decide to close my website. I have no help, and decided to close the application. I used this app to help with my page speed. I am new to Shopify, so I downloaded so many apps, uninstalled them, and before I could even launch my store, it was running slow. I used several apps from Shopify, but none of them had everything I needed. Image compression, removing code that may have been left on my site. I was able to delete 3 free apps and use just this one. In a couple of hours ( I have over 5000 products on my site), it is running better already! It did disconnect 1 app, that I needed, but that was not an issue. I reconnected and I am still running smoothly! Great App! Especially for someone who is new to Shopify, there are a million apps and they don't tell you that installing and deleting apps can affect your site speed! Use this app!!

Not really impressed. day 3 of the free trial, it won't work and show me my dashboard. It's still saying it's optimising my images which should not take 3 days to do. I have emailed and no reply and I have sent two support requests via Shopify which resulted in 2 automatic responses. I should not have to leave a bad review to try and get a response. All I want to know is if this is going to work or if my money will be better spent elsewhere. Please help

This app crashed my store three times. Use it at your own risk. It also did nothing to speed up my store. After installing the app and giving it some time to work I checked my website load time increase on several website speed testers, including GT Metrix and Pingdom and there was no noticeable difference. The first time this app crashed my site I had a Shopify expert fix it, at this stage, I did not know what was causing the issue. What happened was Plug in Speed changed my store code and this, in turn, removed all the products from my store. This was fixed by a Shopify expert and all seemed good for a couple of hours. However, a few hours later I checked my store again and this had happened again. The same exact issue. The Shopify expert then fixed it again. Then a third time it crashed my store. The Shopify expert then diagnosed that it was Plug in Speed causing the issue, so we removed the app, and the zombie code it left behind. My site is now totally fine, and I have not had any issues whatsoever since uninstalling Plug in Speed. When I contacted the app developer, they seemed more interested in me helping them fix the app. The tone of their email was dismissive of my issue and showed only an interest in making sure any issue their end was fixed. The customer service is also quite slow, from want I can see they only work 9-5. Their email asked me why I had not contacted them to fix the issue, well the simple truth is I was not willing to leave my shop with no products in it until their office opened and they got around to having a look. Also, you should be aware that if you install this app and then delete it, it will leave behind a fair amount of zombie code, which they will remove if you contact them, but this is not ideal either. This was my experience with Plug in Speed. I think the reply below say's everything about this company. After spending hours diagnosing this issue and working with a Shopify expert, probably about 6-8 hours in total, not so much as an offer to compensate me for my time and angst. They just want to figure out what happened and take up yet more of my time. Sorry, figure it out yourselves. I am not wasting one more second on this. You are developers, you charge for your products, don't insult me by asking me to work for nothing to help you fix your app so it does not get more bad reviews. I will add further information as it comes to hand.

For someone who has spent countless hours trying to understand how to improve my page speed manually (and failed) this otherwise relatively pricier has been a huge time saver. There are a few features I wish the app would include such as lazyload or defer images off-screen and that is why I gave it a 4/5 - if you don't need that it is definitely a 5/5.

The app is super simple to use. I always like super simple but the main issue for me was that it didn't really do anything for my store. I measured my site speed using a couple of tools before installing the app, and then measured again once the app had finished completing the optimizations and the needle hardly moved. The app developer reached out to me to say they will look into it to see if something custom can be done but this was taking time so I decided to delete the app as I didn't want to pay for something that didn't work. It is an expensive app at $50 CAD per month each month but I can get over the price if I get some quality results. But this wasn't the case for me. Maybe it will work for you.

We downloaded this app to help decrease our page load times. After running the Google mobile speed test our website was ranking slow which directly impacts search rankings. One of the tips the Google report recommended was optimizing our code and CSS files, along with optimizing images. This app does both so it seemed like a perfect solution! Right off the bat our page load times decreased and we were ranking higher than our competitors sites. This is a HUGE advantage for us and we owe it all to this app! Further, I contacted the support team later in the evening, not expecting a response until morning. Not only did they get back to me within minutes, they answered all of my questions right away! I could not be more impressed! I would give this team 10 stars if I could. Thanks for the assistance and for the great app, I would highly recommend trying it out!

I used the app to speed the site up as we were having loading issues. It worked a treat to optimise the images, and was very easy to use. Plus, i'd had a recurring issue with the site that was unrelated to why i'd downloaded the app, yet when i mentioned it to their support people they were so helpful. After the initial optimizations were run on our site it was only slightly faster, but with the follow-up support we got from the Plug in Speed staff we were able to work through some issues that really got our site humming!

This app got me from a 56 google speed rating to an 89 on desktop. If the speed is not where you want it once the automated part runs, you can email support and they will spend time working on your site until it's where it needs to be. This is a must-have app! If people have to wait at all for your site to load, they will move on. You can't make sales if no one is spending time on your store. Well worth the $$$. Thanks guys!

We tried this app to speed up our store. Installing the app was simple and required just a bit of time waiting while the Plug In Speed servers optimised the scripts and styling files contained on our site. Once installed, our page was working as expected without any glitches. However, we decided we don't need the app at this time and uninstalled it. Due to the limitations of the Shopify platform, some files/code was still remaining from the installation process. This is not a fault of Plug In Speed, however, as I have seen this happen with other apps as well. Daniel from the support team was quick and ready to help in cleaning up our installation, even though we weren't an active customer. Awesome service, I would recommend your app to other Shopify users and will remember you for the future!

If you are searching relentlessly for a speedup solution for your store and you have been disappointed in the past as it was the case for us, I have good news for you. Learn from the mistakes of others. This is the real thing! The app automatically reacts to any update you make within your shop and then optimizes it. More details below: We have tried out several other measures which included other speed apps or hiring developers. It was awful. About this app: I guess the initial results depend on factors like previous speed related work. However, their support team is awesome and helps you out fixing details after the automatic speedup to achieve the best possible outcome for your theme. At first, the results seemed small (score only), but what we have noticed later on is that effectively the real site load speed has been optimized dramatically (seconds to fully load the page). This is what really matters for the customer and not a random google page speed score which is confusing as hell. Recommending!

I'm going to give this app a 5-star even though I removed it. The reason I removed it is my theme was already well optimized. The developer spent considerable time analyzing why the app didn't do much of anything for my store... and it was because I already have strategically optimized code. NOT THAT my store is perfect... it's just the way this app does things was not going to help my site. I think the concept of how the dev is approaching this is smart. And for some themes, it will help. I gave the 5-star because the developer is a pro and that says a lot to me.

I have to say that the support from Plug In Speed has been outstanding. The plugin pretty much worked out of the box except for 1 JavaScript file which was causing an issue. I contacted support and Daniel Sim worked with me to fix it, he sorted it in 5 minutes and we spent the next 1/2 hour discussing ways we could further improve our pagespeed. I can happily recommend this company and Plug In Speed to anyone wishing to make their site load faster.

I am no expert on Code and Image Optimization, but after I've installed this App, the average load time decreased from the original 8 sec. to 1 sec. Also, the average image size became 0.03 MB (I don't remember the original size, but I sure know it was higher than 0.03 MB). My page speed score became 65/100 for Desktop and 78/100 for Mobile . The recommendations from PlugInSpeed team was to contact them via e-mail in order to improve these scores to at least 85/100 > which I'm already in contact with them. In all, I do recommend this App. It did not ruin my theme, I have no problems with other Apps still running, so, I believe I made a smart choice installing it.
