I’ve been dealing with a serious issue caused by this app for over 8 days, and the experience has been extremely frustrating. The app conflicts with other major third-party apps (like Hulk Product Options), causing duplicate cart items and double pricing. This is not a small issue it directly affects live stores, customers, and revenue. I lost potential clients because of this bug. After thorough technical investigation, I confirmed that the app triggers an additional add.js call, which results in blank duplicate items being added to the cart. When I remove the W3 Product Accessories script, the issue is immediately resolved which clearly shows where the conflict originates. Instead of working toward a real solution, support kept redirecting responsibility to the other app developer. While incompatibilities can happen, the lack of accountability and urgency was disappointing. For a paid production store app, better compatibility handling and faster resolution should be expected. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this app if you are using other product customization apps.

We've been using Product Accessories by W3 for some years now and it's vital to our business. Allows your customers to get exactly the accessory that goes with the product in question without clicking through further pages. We recently updated to a new version of our theme and were having difficulty getting the accessories to add to cart. Contacted W3, who came along and installed it for us and got it working within 20 minutes at no cost. So grateful for their continued support, and so happy to be able to continue using an app that is so important for us. Five stars!

Pros - Easy linking interface, has not noticeably affected site speed and load times, very customisable (be prepared to work with style sheets to customise it to match your theme), good price, great customer support! Cons - Cannot choose a product not to display accessory if you choose site wide default accessories, cannot easily choose quick menu to display hero image only Having worked with support and CSS, I am extremely happy with how this looks and runs on our website.

I used this app on my other store, the theme I am using on my new store has an inbuilt function similar to product accessory app but it was no where near as good as this app so I scrapped and installed this app which works fantastically my store is not about upsells but more about addons that alot of people buy and this app is perfect for that also looks professional and functions well. Shopify's standard way to do options is to generate a bunch of variants. With the stuff we are selling this would create pages of variants, which makes them really difficult to maintain and update. W3Trends Product Accessories lets you add options to the existing product. Basically, displaying products on other product pages. Almost like 'related products'. The app is really easy to install and works really well out of the gate. However, we had to do some minor tweaks on the CSS to work with our Focal theme. Unfortunately, we do not have in house coder. So in desperation we contacted W3's support for a guide and, lo and behold, they decided to fix everything for us. All done by the next day, exactly how we want things to be... no additional compensation! 5 Stars!! *Being a Shopify app *Very reasonable cost *Ease of Installation *Great support *Great result

The instructions were pretty straight forward, although where to exactly paste the code (depending on your Shopify setup and/or theme) can be slightly confusing. Works well. For us, it contributed to reducing the number of questions we had if product A is compatible with this and that product. There is quite a few apps that come to the top of the search when looking for a method to Upsell. The issue is, they all do it in the same way, a pop up. In my opinion this is a bit agressive and could even result in a lost conversion. What I was looking for was something subtle, an optional upsell built into the theme which would allow a customer to add an additional item if they required it. This app does just that. If you are looking for an upsell app that is simple yet efficient and meticulously thought out and designed then the W3 Product Accessories app is the way to go. I cannot praise the app enough for delivering such an easy to use and effective solution for a common requirement of shopify stores. The support team are also amazing, if you have any issues drop them a message and they will work with you to resolve them and get things up and running asap. Thanks again guys, really happy with this addition to my store.

Thanks for such great work. The App fit like a glove with the 101-easy install instructions. The layout of your App; its form is so clean and usable. Almost like it wasn't there at all. We do have a very simple theme so it looks exactly like it. I did extensive testing to make sure the whole cart process was kosher, with adds and minus and empty and blah blah, you know the drills :) All Aok! Thank you for making such a specific function that was previously not available standalone. But even though it is standalone you have built a whole city of options to select and clearly and correctly rationalize the accessories against products, collections and even a default accessory :D that is very cool. That shows a VERY well made App. We are very happy to make your App a permanent part of our shop. It seriously enhances its capability A1. It is reasonably priced, but for an Australian shop it is a little high on your estimates for us. I'd love to see it come down to US$3 in the long-term future with more people enjoying its superior-lone benefit. Would be really good for other shops who have a simple theme and want to enhance it, rather than a cosmetic or plugging enhancement. The Product Accessories app was a necessity for my web-site. After I loaded it I wanted a few changes made that would allow it flow better with my site. I called w3trends and talked to Justin. I would give this a 5 star but I have one little issue. The problem is that there is no WAY to set X amount of a product with the add on. For instance I have a mod that shows items purchased with it, but its only 1 of them. It needs 2 batteries and no way to do this.

After going from App to App and back again we found this to be by far the best solution for Up sell & Cross Sell. Nothing is perfect and each app we tried had drawbacks and advantages - This one we found to be as good as we can expect for such a small monthly amount - These guys also make you want to stick around waiting for the next patch or update - I can see it just betting better and better.

Our new site initially used variants to promote items we considered a necessary optional extra using dropdown fields, which was an ugly way of upselling. We came across Product Accessories from W3 and must say it works like a charm. We had an initial problem related to our theme but this was very quickly resolved by Brad with zero changes to our theme files. This is a no brainer if you need an easy way to upsell your accessories.

This is one MUST HAVE APP! East to install. The app includes a check box, quick view of the accessory, price including variants.I placed mine between the quantity button and add to cart. Important note: If you add a product and want to use it as an accessory, make you you run the sync so it shows up in the list.

update: there was a minor issue with the app that was fixed within a few minutes, great support, definitely recommended, a must-have for us This is a must have app, it's easy to set up, works right away and easy to use In short you should pick a collection and then add accessories to everything in that collection , such as if in collection bread, offer butter jam and a toaster if you need something more specific you can tailor change one product at a time, such as "if customer is buying something i make terrible profit on, suggest similar product with better profit" I'm in awe of the price it can't really be just 75c a month but i see no hidden charges anywhere, if they can get 100,000 stores at that price though they have it made please support this app it will not let you down but it will take some time to set up your recommendations if you have a large store like us, small stores will see immediate payoff, try it
