This was my first time installing this software, and I wanted to implement front-end filtering and recommendation display. Initially, I wasn't familiar with it, but customer service was very enthusiastic and dedicated in helping me achieve the desired functionality. Although I haven't finished customizing it yet, I'm already looking forward to the features that will be available later. I hope that after the aesthetics are improved, it will enhance user browsing and conversion rates. I hope it will be error-free when officially used. Really happy with the support on this app. After installing, the filter widget wasn't rendering on my collection page — my theme's built-in filters were showing instead. Clara responded quickly, requested collaborator access, and had her technical team integrate the app with my theme properly. Issue solved. Smart Product Filter & Search has been a game changer! I wanted to display all variants for a single product at once and have a robust color filtering system - this app did the trick! The support team is responsive and has solved the few issues I ran into. I rated as only 4 stars because the variant and color filtering stopped working and needed their developer to fix. It took about 4 days to resolve, but the Support team was emailing me daily with updates. Still highly recommend.

As a trading card singles seller, this app has been essential for making my store actually usable for collectors. I've set it up to filter by set, rarity, condition and language using product tags - so when I eventually have hundreds of cards listed, buyers can drill straight down to exactly what they're after. I also set up a card number sort using a product metafield, so cards within a set can be browsed in numerical order just like a physical binder. By now, we have received the first reply: it is the weekend and the development team is only available during Vietnam office hours. The app is nice a simple to use and the support team incredibly helpful. But what is desperately needed is merchandising rules to search results. The ability to promote and demote products based on something like product tags would be a huge improvement to the current search results. The hide option is not viable as it will hide the products from the site completely. The accuracy of the searching is also wildly inconsistent. More layout options for the pop outs such as choosing the order results appear in would be great as well as an option for customers to choose the number of columns in category and search pages.

Though I'm not done with configuring all the features yet, the app meets my requirements for my most critical need - search filtering. I tried numerous apps and none of them had all the "must-have" features like filtering on custom metafields, and ability to filter by metafields, collections, categories, tags. I had a couple of issues during configuration that Clara resolved for me immediately. She has been incredibly responsive responding to questions and quickly resolving any glitches I have encountered. I measure a company by how well and quickly they respond when issues inevitably occur - Clara gets 5+ stars!

MAJOR ISSUES: Broken Filters - The filters I configure disappear regularly for no reason. This is a recurring problem that makes the app completely useless. No Customer Support - I reported this issue 20 DAYS AGO. Their response: "It's in progress." No real solution, no follow-up, just empty promises. No Compensation - Despite this major malfunction, no refund, no discount, no gesture of compensation. They keep charging me for an app that doesn't work. Overpriced - The app is expensive for the poor quality it offers. And what it does offer doesn't even function properly. MY FINAL VERDICT: Don't waste your money. This app is expensive, useless, and the customer service don't resolve your technical problems. Find an alternative - there are plenty of better options out there. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS APP AT ALL.

Simple and really flexible app -- got great custom implementation support from Clara. We launched a new Shopify site using a custom 3rd party theme for Shopify. We've used the app for a good while and found it easy to expand out filter options over time. We have a very large amount of SKUs, so we need a lot granular filters that can nest easily within different categories by both tags and collection. There was a visual bug with the app's product/collection card layout overriding out new one and the team quickly made some tweaks for free. Clara was the team member who helped; super quick response time (less than 10 min back and forth email chat). Recommend for stores with similar filter needs.

Shopify Plus merchants should be aware that this application encounters frequent issues concerning the display of the correct catalog price. Sometimes the collection pages show the base price, and a manual sync is required to fix it. Other times the manual sync does not fix it, and Globo's technical support team has to get involved. Sometimes the prices are off by a factor of 1000, which again can be fixed by either re-syncing, manually fixing the liquid code or getting the Globo support involved. We have encountered issues like these every few weeks, and we finally decided to bypass Globo's price display implementation and used a Metafield-based solution we created on our own. Problems solved. The rest of the application is rather excellent and we use it across many stores successfully with only a few occasions per year where the application does not function and collection pages will fail to render. If you can accept that level of uptime, this app is a good choice. 2.5 / 5 stars: (Shopify Plus) 5 / 5 stars: (Shopify)
