We have used Stamped for nearly seven years and, until recently, had very few problems. Unfortunately, in the last few months our review requests have stopped sending on three separate occasions. Each time, requests have built up in the pending queue and we have had to contact support. Support has then had to manually push the outstanding requests through, rather than the system continuing to send them as scheduled. The most recent time, we were told on 2 July that requests had started sending again. However, by 9 July there were 450 requests sitting in the pending queue, including requests scheduled from 2 July onwards. It therefore appears that the automated service either did not properly restart or stopped working again almost immediately. We are paying $199 a month for the Professional plan, so we expect such a fundamental part of the service to work reliably. As a small family-run business, customer reviews are extremely important to us, and repeatedly having to notice the problem ourselves and contact support is becoming a serious issue. I genuinely hope Stamped can identify the cause and put a permanent fix in place, as we have used the platform for many years and would prefer to continue doing so. However, we cannot continue paying $199 a month for a service that repeatedly stops working and requires manual intervention. Unless the issue is properly resolved, we will have to consider moving to another provider.

Stellar seller support. This app does everything I wished for and things I never thought about. Like anything great it takes a little time to set up, but if I can do it, anyone can and if you have any trouble they are right there to help. 5 Starts for Eslam and his incredible support.... 1 Star for the app: I have a 2.0 theme and trying to set up was impossible; backend told me to edit in theme editor-> theme editor told me to edit in backend...round and round, no success until Eslam had to go into my theme and install, then try to accommodate my requests. I had no way to control the look or functionality of this app from my end, which ultimately led me to not move forward and uninstall. Super disappointed as I was looking forward to having an app that served both reviews and loyalty. Perhaps those who are fluent in code would have no problems... Again, all good things to say about Eslam, 5 star support!

Over the past year, the review rating widgets have been loading extremely slowly, often requiring multiple page refreshes before they appear. This issue has intensified in recent months and has resulted in a significant drop in our store’s conversion rate, as no ratings are showing on any pages. We have contacted Stamped.io support about this problem but have not received any response.

The performance of this app is simply unacceptable. The on-page widgets (star ratings and review widget) take an average of 10 seconds to load on the page.. and thats IF they even load at all. We have reached out to support multiple times to try and bring down this load time and to make sure the widgets load 100% of the time (this should be the bare minimum, honestly). We have not been able to get this fixed. For this reason we will be migrating away from Stamped. It's hard to justify spending $149+ per month on a review app that fails to even display reviews more than half the time.

I've been using this app for almost 6 years. Today it went down during Black Friday. Literally the most important day of the year for my business. For me, that's a one strike your out offense. The cost to my business is immeasurable. I'm spending thousands of dollars on ads today, and people can't see reviews on my website. It's taking 2 minutes to load the review section. The dashboard won't load. An absolute fucking nightmare.

Within just the first week, we've received over 2000% the reviews we used to get, and are getting valuable feedback from customers we otherwise wouldn't have. As a small, handcrafted business, this means SO much; our structure is our customers, and being able to redesign and reimagine our products through feedback is what keeps us apart from the crowd. I seriously cannot believe how many people are leaving reviews, versus the occasional monthly one (if that). It's a daily thing now, and it happens multiple times a day sometimes. I definitely recommend Stamped if you're on-the-fence!

We were convinced to resubscribe a month ago by promises of a "new era" under a new CEO and significant company changes. Unfortunately, our experience has been a complete failure. The app is non-functional for us: in an entire month, not a single review request email has been successfully sent to any of our customers. Compounding this critical failure is the support, which has been severely lacking. Their only "solution" has been to repeatedly ask us to uninstall and reinstall the app, and we now go weeks without any response. Our urgent emails to tech support, our sales rep, and even the CEO have been met with silence. Stamped does not work, and the support team seems utterly uninvested in finding a solution.

Very disappointing support. Stamped's system allows you to upload the review file yourself; however, it only allows up to 5,000 reviews per upload. We contacted support to see if they had the same limits, and we were asked to provide our review file. After we sent the file, they never replied. A different person contacted us days later and requested the same information. We then find out that they did upload the file, but more than half errored, and they said nothing further. We're going to delete what they uploaded, and try this again with small uploads.

They changed their free plan after collecting reviews for over 4 years so that you can no longer show the reviews without going to at least the $19/month plan. They now have my reviews hijacked. I don't have enough reviews and sales volume on Shopify to justify the $19/month plan since most of my sales and reviewsw are on eBay, which means I'll just redirect the buyers to my eBay reviews instead.

Some great functionality offered, and it's great when it actually does what it says it will do. Customer service has improved hugely since I last reviewed this app two years ago, and is incredibly helpful. Which has led me to up my rating from 2 to 4 stars. However, a few pieces of functionality that were promised still haven't been delivered, for example enabling more usable ways to select items for groups so they're automatic rather than need to be manually added is a must have and I've now waited two years.

Brilliant customer support. The API documentation could be improved. The API is very often unavailable. Support is very slow and has very rarely been able to help us. The Backend is slow. Syncing reviews counts into metafields is apparently a process that would take months to implement, so we decided to implement it ourselves.

Reviews in general are a PITA. I was with Stamped for many years until they removed the "free" version and started charging way more than anyone else for a review app. I was already on the fence about staying with them and ironically had a problem one day that they couldn't solve. I found out about the problem by searching the web, it actually had nothing to do with the app it was a Microsoft issue however they should have known about it. In the process of getting this problem fixed I felt brushed off by the rep. I checked on my end, and everything is fine, so you have a nice day kind of thing, and I decided to find another company and I am SO glad I did because the new company is a perfect fit for my business.

This app has become incredibly frustrating to use. The backend is confusing, sections often fail to load properly, and settings randomly undo themselves. We've had constant issues with saved preferences changing on their own. The custom social integration is especially poor and difficult to work with. For an app we’ve been paying for on the business plan for years, the performance is far from acceptable. It's slow, unreliable, and simply not up to standard.

We have dramatically increased the reviews we get from our customers. And the app is helpful in helping us share those reviews on social media. Our customers like putting photos up of the products they make with our filament. And the support is outstanding. When I have an issue, they are right there to make it right. Sadly, 4 years in, the site has become slow and drags down our website. Posting reviews takes a lot of time as well as that drags as well.

We've had constant issues with saved preferences changing on their own. The custom social integration is especially poor and difficult to work with. For an app we’ve been paying for on the business plan for years, the performance is far from acceptable. It's slow, unreliable, and simply not up to standard.

Using this app 2021-2025 and I had to update our review to warn other merchants that bugs persist in this app, taking us a huge amount of time to publish & feature each review (ie lots of screen refreshes, repeated checking of status of each live vs not live review has changed). For 1-2 years they have promised fixes but just this week we learn there is a wait on for a new version of the app being built though they cant tell us when it will be available. No attempt to mitigate or overcome the issues from stamped.io by offering workarounds, or an app fee break/discount so we are planning to migrate to an alternative app ASAP.

The 1st line Stamp support team are fantastic. But the support behind them leaves something to be desired. It’s perhaps unfair to list all the issues we have had, having worked with this App for over 4 years, there are bound to be challenges. It has come to a point where we have to express how we feel more publicly. Recently we have again sent batches of review request emails out - and they haven't sent. We are told sometimes they take time for them to be 'processed in the backend' . We have had to request manual push of emails in the past. At the end of February we noticed that pending review requests had no products or product image - so we therefore could not send them out. As we approach 4 week later - still the Stamped Product Team are working on it. The support team are told that the issue is linked to the Shopify API and a recent product sync issue. The same issue stopped customers getting reward points on their other App. We do not know if this is impacting many brands, but if we can’t send our reviews, the App can not work for us. We say again – thank you 1st line support for all you hard work and trying to keep us position.

I've been using the business plan for years and at this price, I expect a seamless experience. Unfortunately, the app is slow and difficult to navigate. The biggest issue, however, is that our saved settings seem to change on their own. Our custom post-review layout randomly reverted to the default version, even though we never made any changes. Other settings, like automatic review updates, have also altered without our input. This inconsistency makes the app unreliable, which is unacceptable for a paid service.

The product is great, however if you have an issue with billing you will go around in circles with shopify and stamped. Just be aware if you sign up and start paying you may end up paying for a product that you don't get. Both parties will say that the other is at fault. So far I've paid well $1000usd and received only the free package. Normally I wouldn't write a low star review however after trying for months to get a resolution I haven't been looked after.

We cannot recommend this app and really miss the old Shopify Review app just because of how easy it was to use. This Stamped Review app is extremely slow, super glitchy and we seem to have to contact support often because of something popping up and not working. I will say they do respond to customer service in a reasonable time and get our issues resolved but I don't feel so many issues should be happening this often. We are just not happy with the sluggish performance and always dealing with issues with reviews either not posting, how you cannot block or now even delete consistent spam reviews, the sluggish load times which have improved a little recently, not showing a "Thank You" so your customer knows the review went through like we are dealing with now, etc. We are just getting tired of the constant issues we are experiencing with this app and having to reach out to support. If we find things improve we are happy to change our review but so far not so good I'm sorry to say.

We've been using Stamped.io for years now and it has always been brilliant for our business. Review collection is easy and smooth, and customers respond really well to it. The functions for displaying reviews are also excellent and have been perfectly tailored to our store. Most importantly, their customer service is second to none. This app does not work as stated. Review imports are nigh on impossible, conflicting info is given re. date formats and errors constantly get thrown up. Also, the app incorrectly inverts dates for some reviews if import achieved - giving future dates for reviews (e.g. 3 December 2024). Also, the app is so slow to update changes made (i.e., 24 hours for a small change to an email review template). Unusable.

After using this app since 2019, I'm sorry to say there are some frustrating flaws which are leading is to consider migrating to another service. 1) You can't display a single review (as in one review). You can only display a review title, which the user has to click to see the review. There are a number of problems with this approach, the main one being that 99% of review titles are generic like 'Great service' or 'Great product'. This makes the reviews look fake and makes people less likely to click the title to read the review - even if they understood that you have to click to see the actual review, which most people do not. 2) You can't leverage reviews by integrating them into your content. It's infinitely more powerful when your marketing text is backed-up by a customer who says the same thing. But not being able to display a review makes this impossible (review titles are almost pointless as noted above). We've been told that to display a single review, we'd have to hire a developer to make a custom app. This sounds crazy for such basic functionality. 3) We often go through periods where in-page reviews don't display on the front-end at all. When this happens we try multiple browsers, try viewing on our phones over the mobile network (bypassing our ISP), clearing the cache etc. Then after a while, the reviews display agin. 4) The app is unacceptably slow 90% of the time - and we're on 200Mbps fibre with only two people using the bandwidth. Every click has a delay, it's crazy. Also, adding reviews in the Shopify editor is painfully slow, often requiring constant re-loads just to see them (often 3 or 4 reloads). 5) [Edit - this is now fixed] You can't search reviews! This used to work but it's been broken for months now, something support has acknowledged. If all you need is a decent system to collect reviews and display them on product pages, then great. But if you want to start leveraging your reviews in more places around your site, like the home page, landing pages, blocks etc, then I'd seriously consider another app. What's kept us using Stamped for so long is the great service and the people. But the crazy limitations and speed issues are forcing us to consider a different app (we're not looking forward to moving). Sorry guys, very sad to leave this review. Cheers, Ben

If you find aother review app I would install them instead. Support is not good. ZERO clarity. First you have to wait at least a day to respond with a problem VIA EMAIL ONLY, then ITS NOT CLEAR what the solution is when they do respond. Then you have to keep going back and forth waiting at least a day in between to get any clarity on what needs to be done. It doesnt seem like they put themslves in the shoes of their customers. Dealing with them has been really frustrating at this point. There is no live chat and anyone you can interact with directly so if you have a technical error then you have to write an email and wait for an answer which is around a day. Then I have come across having MORE questions after receiving their answer and then wait another day because they are NOT clear at all. THis can go on for days and days. Terrible use of time and completely not efficient. They also don't answer some questions that you may ask even though your business hinges on resolving the technical problem from their app. I still dont have the app working correctly after I just UPGRADED to try some other functions. Its been DAYS and DAYS now and the problem is not fixed and again waiting for their response. In addition if they have site maintenance they DO NOT let their customers know beforehand. Most places send an email out saying we are going to have maintenance on this day. I had to get on the phone with shopify see if there was anything wrong on my end, they have to write a support ticket, reach out to the app..you see where a lot of the issues are. Then I finally heard back they are updating the site and no idea when that will be fixed. Come on. PLEASE COMMUNICATE CLEARLY WITH YOUR CUSTOMERS. Not good customer support at all and you have to wait forever to get resolution.

Our experience was mediocre. The app has some glitches. The way it tallied our customer orders was inaccurate. When we upgraded to their "Business" plan, a couple of the included options were not functioning. And the reviews in the carousel were poorly formatted / looked wonky. Reached out to support, and they were slow to respond. For the price of this app we expected more. We uninstalled Stamped and moved on to a more polished review platform.

Update - August 20204: My product reviews wasn’t showing in my store and I had no idea why. I reach out to the Stamped team on a weekend when I discovered the problem, i wasn’t expecting a reply until the following week, James got back to me started investigating the problem. The issue was that I’d updated my theme and the Stamped script hadn’t transferred across. Within 24 hours James had fixed the problem and my reviews are now showing again. I wasn't receiving replies to my support requests, for some reason, until someone from the team reached out to me directly and got to the bottom of the issue. The Stamped team had their app installed within hours of me sending a request as I couldn't do it. I look forward to using the app as I like the automatic/scheduled review messages customers will get.

Stamped.io really know what they're doing when it comes to reviews. I've tried others and basically customers actually leave reviews using this app - which is the main thing! Also, little things like the quality of the product image 'pulled' from the product page to the review request email is excellent compared to other apps. The Stamped.io team are excellent, and all really understand their system well and are able to provide seriously good customer care. There are helpful pages on their site explaining everything, but if you don't understand a member of their team will explain it and provide little videos that make everything super clear. They're also quick to respond and do whatever they can to help you, eg creating the review widgets on your site pages for you. I'm probably making it all sound like it's a bit of effort to get set up - it's not. But a little bit more effort when you already have a spreadsheet of reviews that need importing, if you're moving from another review provider. In fact, I have returned to Stamped.io having been talked into trying an alternative provider for an additional benefit (which didn't work in any case!). All I can say is, when something works one can easily take it for granted. Now that I have returned to using Stamped.io, I have even more trust in their knowledge and have moved up a notch to a plan that will provide all the more features and benefits, such as their loyalty scheme and add more features to the reviews. This will ultimately make it easier for potential customers to find reviews that address any anxieties they may have (using keywords). It's been a hard lesson, but I'm so pleased to be back with Stamped.io, I really am. Thanks so much for your help guys : )

Updated in 2024 July: Stamped changed its billing policy to a tiered one based on number of orders per month. We import all our orders from another platform into Shopify. These orders do not have email addresses and yet are counted towards the monthly order limit. 2020: I used this app to collect more user generated content e.g. photos, use cases for our products and also to display reviews based on product groups instead of individual products. Support was responsive and effective in helping us resolve issues encountered during set-up e.g. custom fonts, custom forms. Working great now. Thanks Alyssa!

Repeated Issues with Importing Reviews from AliExpress to Stamped.io and Unresolved Problems. I've been using the Stamped.io app for my Shopify store for some time now, and while the app has some useful features, my overall experience has been frustratingly negative. The primary issue I've encountered is with the API integration, specifically when trying to import reviews from AliExpress and dealing with very slow customer support response and resolution. Every time I attempt this, I receive an error message stating that no HTTP resource was found to match the request URI. Despite attempting to resolve the issue with customer support assistance, the problem remains unresolved. I've reached out to Stamped.io support multiple times about this issue, but unfortunately, the problem persists. It's disappointing to see that this critical functionality is consistently unreliable. The lack of resolution and the repeated nature of this issue have made it difficult to trust the app's reliability. While the app has potential and offers good features when it works, the repeated technical issues and lack of effective support have been a significant drawback. I hope that Stamped.io can address these issues promptly and improve their support response to provide a better user experience.

Stamped is really excellent and have responsive support. However, we just found out we have been paying for a service that is not fit for our purpose because all our products are free to download (we are a publisher). So, Stamped is great unless your products: a) have a price of $0.00 b) have negative inventory So, for the reason that we have just found out a + b after using Stamped for years, we're giving it a low rating. I doubt they will refund us, but they should really let users know that this is the case before signing up. We only found out after persisting with multiple emails to support.
