Proofer has been a game changer for my custom sticker shop. The proof approval workflow is seamless and my customers love being able to request changes directly from the proof page. What really sets this app apart is the customer support... fast, helpful and genuinely willing to go the extra mile. Any question I've had has been answered quickly and thoroughly. The custom email template system is flexible and easy to work with. Highly recommend for any print shop or business that needs a professional proofing workflow.

We use this app to manage all the proofs for our custom orders - 20+ per day. It works excellently, and I'd highly recommend it to anyone who needs to submit order designs for customer approval. I just returned to this page to leave a review for the BEST Shopify app that I have ever used, and realized I already left the above 5 star review 5 years ago! Would give it 500 stars if I could. If you thought customer service was dead in 2026 you have never used this app!! Incredibly responsive and helpful. Constantly improving their product. It's useful, but for many of our customers, when they want to view their proofs on mobile, it only shows them the very first proofs and they are unable to view the most recent ones. It would be much better if it started by showing them the most recent proofs by default, or put the proofs into a more apparent list for the customer who uses mobile. This is a common problem we run into about once or twice a week. We often end up having to email proofs to the customers instead. If this bug could get fixed, it would be perfect.

Started using the Proofer app in a fairly complex workflow on a new store. This app is great but they warn me I need to upgrade I already paid 9.99 for 50 orders and from my understanding this should be 50 orders that I use the app. Now I haven't used the app this month that much up to like 6 orders. And if there counting all my orders coming in should not be counted as they have nothing to do with orders. From the looks they have a great scam to make customers upgrade each time. Be careful with them if you check your orders also check the orders you have sent proofs and you will see what I am going through.

This is one of the BEST apps I've ever installed on my site. I've spent the last couple of years using a third-party proofing software on another platform that isn't connected to shopify and it worked ok but because it wasn't connected to shopify I had to go back and forth between both platforms and the proofing process took a lot of my time. I switched to Proofer and I'm blown away by how much this app has streamlined and simplified the proofing process for me. Now I can send proofs 5x as quickly as I did with the third party software. It's so easy to set up and use and I LOVE how I can see the proof status right within shopify. Nick (the developer) is AMAZING - he is extremely helpful and quick to respond to any questions or issues. He even customized some settings for my shop and has been extremely patient with me throughout the whole process. I'd give the app 10 stars if I could.

Proofer is an amazing app and has allowed us to grow our store massively, however what really separates proofer is the support. Nick has implemented endless changes for me to integrate with our store and processes, usually within a few hours, nothing has ever been refused - it's like having a developer working with us which we're incredibly grateful for. We were initially doing previews over e-mail which got lost and messy very quickly. Proofer does everything you would expect and more, and has enabled us to grow our team to 3 artists who all find the app easy and intuitive to use. I can't recommend this app enough to anyone that uses proofs as part of their ordering process.

Incredible app and incredible customer service. If you need to send customers proofs, this app works seamlessly with your orders, allows you to send files directly to customers. I've noticed an increase in the speed of which customers approve proofs also with emails not getting lost in junk and spam which I was struggling with before. I can see what needs to be printed, what needs proofing - the support has been almost instant and helpful every time I've asked for support - after 8 years of struggling to keep on top of proof management - this app is an excellent find! I installed the app but never placed an order. After the trial period was up, I opened the app and received threatening message that they would start charging me $50 / month because I was outside the trial period, even though they have plans starting at $10 a month. This is the message I received, "Since you processed more orders in the last month than what's included in our free plan, I'd kindly ask you to upgrade your account to our $49.99/mo plan if you'd like to continue using Proofer…" I never placed a single order. Strange business practice.

If you need to send the proofs to your customers, look no further. The best app you can get! Very easy set up, really nice work flow including automated email notifications (with your branding) for you and your customers. The customers are sent to your website where they can approve their previews plus you can upsell your digital product as well. Amazing and quick customer support - I needed to change watermark for my previews and Nick got it done literally within few minutes. Can't recommend it enough, thank you!

Amazing customer support! Only a small percentage of my total store orders require sending proofs. I used the customer support chat box to message support about only paying for a plan based on how many proofs I send out - not how many total orders my store gets. Within seconds Nick (customer support rep) began working on creating filters to only send certain orders into the dashboard, and changing my plan so that it only counts these specific orders (not my total store orders). 10/10 would recommend if you are doing any type of custom orders & designs for your customers. Did I mention it is VERY EASY to use and is a much better user experience for your customers?? It also brings customers to your site to review their mock-ups. Stop emailing customers your proofs and manage the process through this app.

Brilliant app! After a year of sending out proofs via email with dropbox links we switched to Proofer Proof. Nick managed to made some personalized adjustments for us, and we linked it via Zapier to our order management platform, and so far it works perfectly! The custom service and GREAT communication by Nick is outstanding and, honestly, that made the difference for us, as we required some manual work and had quite a few questions. At first, I thought Proofer might be unnecessary because I was only doing a handful of proofs per week and could track them via email -- well, easily enough that the added cost didn't seem worth it. But then, oh boy. An influencer shared one of my products on Instagram and I received 300 orders in about 12 hours. It would've been unmanageable without this app. In fact, of all the apps my store has, this is the one that single-handedly saved my sanity. The meta tags were especially useful because I could find all the "proof_accepted" orders and get them out of the way. Plus, it helps my my shop look as if there's more than one person sitting at a dining table working through everything.
