Absolutely amazing app and even better customer support. We recently experienced a huge spike in bot traffic on our website, which caused our estimated session count to increase dramatically. Because of this, we upgraded to the Unlimited plan thinking we had exceeded our usage limits. Less than 5 minutes later, Rebeka from the Rapid Search team proactively reached out to us. She had already reviewed our account, identified that the increase was caused by bot traffic, manually corrected the calculation, and enabled bot exclusion on our account. As a result, we were able to downgrade back to the $199 plan instead of paying for the Unlimited plan. What impressed me most is that I didn't have to contact support, open a ticket, or dispute anything. They noticed the issue themselves and fixed it immediately. That level of honesty, transparency, and customer care is extremely rare. As for the app itself, it is hands down the best search solution we've used on Shopify. Search results are fast, relevant, and easy for customers to use. Since implementing Rapid Search, we've seen customers find products more easily and our sales have continued to grow. A huge thank you to Rebeka and the entire Rapid Search team. Highly recommended to any Shopify store looking for a powerful search and merchandising solution.

Great support is the first that comes to my mind with this app. You get quick answers to any doubt you have. The search and filters are quite developed. I think the search filter can be improved and they have a suggestion list where everybody can write about their wished to be implemented. I would love a "Safe Search function" so that customers could activate it or not on demand. I really think this is a much better and complete option than the default search engine in Shopify and I hope they keep developing and improving of a very good app.

I generally like the idea and overall implementation of the app. However, key features are missing – most importantly, the ability to display color swatches in the search results, as well as a proper slide-in search. For me, these are core features. Without them, the search experience is significantly limited, as customers cannot see how many variants a product has. This makes the search results far less useful. Unfortunately, this is not possible with my theme (Sleek), and there is no available workaround. For a search app, this is very disappointing. I’m giving two stars because the support team is very fast and friendly. However, that does not help if no solution can be found, even with their assistance.

Stay away from this Search Bar. They can deactivate the search bar for 6 days without any notifications if there is a certain amount of searches exceeded. Mind you, if you have a big team, then your internal searches are counted and once you are over, they will deactivate the search. No real time customer service, too slow to respond. The only time they will respond the fastest is when you install the app for the first time, so that they can push you to upgrade to a paid plan and then when you cancel, they will email you immeditely asking you to upgrade to a higher plan and telling you that they don't have any fault. PAY one time for a search bar, who doesn't charge you or block you for search counts.

Very easy to customize the searches so I'm getting the results I want. Excellent customer service that has dealt with me pestering them constantly for the first two weeks using this! I had previously tried Searchandise, but the search results weren't half as good as RapidSearch. I know that when my customers spell something wrong in a search, the RapidSearch widget will come up with the right result anyway. RapidSearch has been working with me to make their app compatible with my theme, Symmetry, and while it isn't perfect yet, I appreciate their attempts to make it work.

We've had the app installed since 2022, paying $9 a month. During that time, I was not able to change the colour of the main search bar to match my store, and quite often, search results could not be clicked on for no apparent reason. This past month, the search function was also disabled halfway through the month, meaning we lost all search functionality on our store. I am mainly using this app for tag filtering- I have a lot of products - over 500 and counting and was able to use tags to create filters so people can find my products easier. It’s very easy to use - you just put in the general category and then list the tags you want displayed under that category. I was initially critical of the system regarding how they count sessions, however I have to commend the customer service for getting in touch and doing all they can to alleviate my concerns and I am now a subscriber to the app. So credit to them for that. I am still not a fan of the AI responses, as clever as it is (Very clever!) it lacks the human touch required when someone doesn't understand the subject in detail. The app itself in my opinion is the best out there in terms of function vs simplicity, it is also a reasonable price. I look forward to continuing to use the app.

I really wanted to love this app, but it doesn't allow for filtering via variant meta-fields. I understand majority of business owners will use the product meta-fields, but for someone who deals with fragrances and many options, it would be easier for my customer base to drill down by mood, fragrance or scent family. I had a very bad experience with this app. When I downloaded the app it messed up my theme. My site is connected to a completely different Shopify store I own, when I click the logo (home) it takes the customer to a completely different website. It is also impossible to add anything to cart any longer. I deleted the app, tried to delete all the code but nothing. This issue is on the refresh theme, I published two other themes to check if I still had the same issues and they are working fine with no issues. I contacted Shopify, they said it’s an issue with code and they can’t help so I need to contact the app developer. I did and the next day they responded and asked for access to my store. I thought this was great I’ll get it all sorted, but they logged in once and did nothing. I’ve been emailing them for a few days with no response and I received another access request which I accepted and still nothing. I have a website sitting there that I can’t use that I spent hours customising. I’m literally going to have to do this all over again with a new theme just because of downloading this app. I would not recommend this app

I have to update my review. This app is extremely expensive compared to others, and the full price isn't listed on the info page. It can quickly go above $50/month, and goes all the way up to $340/month for unlimited searches. That being said, if you don't care about the price it's an excellent app, but there are others like it.

The app applies its own design to the collection pages (in addition to the filtering options) that completely distorted our original layout, such as image sizes, typography, etc, causing a branding problem. It was explained by the team that they are unable to add their filter menus to other designs or themes, so they use the general app design. This didn't work for us and we had to uninstall the app.

This a a very good app. I have tried several other apps but keep coming back to this one. Not only is it affordable for my start up website, but it is very fast and accurate. It not only searches products but also searches contact us and store policy pages which is what I like. The only issue that I have encountered is that the placement of sticky widget does not look good in my theme on mobile as it sits too far out into page partially covering products view as you scroll down the page. I've just installed Rapid Search and it was setup in about 5 minutes flat. The menu is clear and simple and allows complete customization. I've been testing all sorts of searches, partial SKU, combined color and product type, metafields, collection names, etc. and it found them all. Best of all it lives up to its name - It is fast! No delay at all! I needed support for one thing, my old search icon was still on the site, and Matt removed it for me in a couple of minutes. Great product.

Fantastic app! if i could i would give it 4.5 stars, the only reason being it doesn't do one little thing i would like BUT i am told it should become available in the near future. I got this app for the filtering system mainly and it works like a dream. i contacted support for them to change a few things and they did all but one little thing which i'm told will be possible in the near future. The app is generally great but... It will count every single variant of your product as a separate product, which means that even if i currently have below 700 products in my store the app tells my i have 12k+ produsts and need to upgrade from 0$ per month to 69$ per month which is a bit excessive for just above 600 products so i decided to switch to a different provided.

Usefull in a sense that it shows directly in the search-box the quantity available and whether a product is new, and it immediately shows some results (popular products) even without typing anything in the search-box. It is quite a new app, and there was a little bug, but help was very fast through chat and the issue was resolved within a couple of minutes. App is enabled on my store, and looking good :)

We needed a cheaper alternative to our current app, which recently hiked its prices dramatically. Don't get me wrong, that app had tons of features, but we hardly used most of them. Our main focus was on having a sleek and interactive instant search and a customizable search page. Enter Rapid Search: it offers all the essentials at an affordable price that scales with your number of users, which is fair. We didn't require feature such as filter collections since Shopify 2.0 handles that well, but it is even included. It may not be as customizable as Searchanise (aka Smart Search & Filter) and lacks certain features like hiding products using tags instead of selecting them individually. Integration with other apps like Judge.me is also needed. However, overall, installing the app is a breeze, the admin interface is simple yet efficient, and if you're not into deep customization, it gets the job done nicely. Plus, they have a feature request tab where users can suggest and vote for new additions, which is reassuring for the future. After trying four other options, it's the best alternative to the leading app I mentioned earlier. Give it a shot!

Love this app because it made my store faster and they helped me get it working in my store. The dashboard shows the sales from it so it will be fun to watch it grow. We are VERY happy with this app's results for misspellings, the design and the ability to tweak the css, the ability to make the most relevant products appear in searches with the merchandising function, color-specific result images, and the speed of the app. Missing swatches on the product results pages, asked support and they told us they hope we find another app to do that.
