They just randomly charged me $1299.99 for absolutely no reason. This is an emergency as it now stops me from purchasing shipping labels. UPDATE: It wasn't "random" but was a mistake - basically I imported a bunch of orders into the app which generated a large "usage" charge as their system couldn't differentiate a live order from an old order. UPDATE: The team was quick to refund the charge. I was messed up for several hours because a "failed bill" in Shopify blocked our ability to purchase shipping labels. The good news is twofold: they fixed the problem (reversed the charge) and they also implemented a fix to the original problem (a "sanity check" that's triggered if a large number of orders are suddenly generated out of the blue. I've updated my star rating to 4 stars because they've fixed that problem for future customers. Still not going to lie - being down for several hours messed us up quite a bit and stressed me out needlessly, but I do give mad respect to people who fix their mistakes!

The app bills based on how much money it can help you generate. If you make 45 orders, it'll only cost you $5, and if you later make 90, it will scale your bill to $10. That is amazing. Reconvert looked promising, but right with frist order whe had problems. We offered customer upsell same product with -20% dsicount the client took the same prodcts and deleted teh full price product. Reconvert help was amazed as well that his can be done. So we can not offer same product big dicount ok whatever idt is not perfect but ok we deleted the same product offer with discount because the system can not be changed and they start working to fix the problem. And after we deleted same product offer we offered -25% different products that usualy do not people buy. So caboom sucsess but the problem was that our discount codes -15% that we had alot wre rote -25% upsell offer so cleint got only -15% dsicount of offers and again reconvert said make gflow. But we do not have shopify plus. So had hughe hopes but no thank you. I will find another upsell program that works for us.

Be aware! This app charges based on how many orders you made and it doesn't matter what sales channel or if the upsell is displayed at all. For 2 months I was selling a lot at live events using Point of Sale when I sold things myself and their app was never used but yet those orders counted toward my total order count and they charged me for the highest tier £19.76 for 2 months. This pricing is a rip off and doesn't make sense.

BEWARE - THEY USE YOUR CHECKOUT PAGE AS THEIR AD FARM. When I found out about it from an upset customer, I contacted Shopify and they identified the issue was Reconvert showing their ads on our website. When I contacted Reconvert, they stated that yes they do and it's a "feature". I never accepted this - ads were being shown without our consent or knowledge. We lost significant brand trust. On top of that, it was not worth the cost. Reconvert rarely resulted in sales and never paid for itself. It turned out to be a liability in every way.

Extremely unethical and scammy app do not use them. It's absolutely not worth it. They install a bunch of scam offers like some "capital one affilate offers" on your checkout page that show to all your customers without your consent. And when I confront them in the customer support chat, they claim that this "beneficial feature" a feature. That's beneficial, they're just stealing money via affiliate offers from your customers and claim that this feature never automatically gets turned on. It's complete bullshit, I never turned this on in my life. These people need to watch out or i imagine they will get sued very soon for these extremely unethical business practices. AVOID THIS APP

got upsell today cause i was using OCU before. Zipify OCU basically makes it so that post purchase upsells are separate transactions from the original order this means that if a customer later chargebacks their order with 2 post purchase upsells, you get 3 separate chargebacks which basically will inflate your chargeback rate and get you shut down by shopify EASILY this is so dangerous, which is why i switched to ReConvert. ReConvert edits all upsells into the original order so everything will count as just 1 order. this gives me great relief and anxiety about having my cb rate artificially inflated ashely has also been a great help with setting everything up from the beginning.

I had a very frustrating experience with Upsell.com. There is no clear or real time overview of the costs you are building up while using the app. Charges are not visible in advance and are suddenly deducted, which came as a complete surprise. In my case the app generated €340.86 in upsell revenue, while €424.70 was charged in usage fees. Paying more than the app earns makes no sense for a merchant. The pricing structure is unclear and based on impressions that often do not convert, yet still count towards billing. Without clear cost visibility or safeguards this app is risky to use. I would not recommend this app unless you are willing to constantly monitor your Shopify bill and accept unexpected charges.

the app developers will charge you based on how many orders your store gets, not on how many orders they convert for you but even orders that they've had nothing to do with. use other apps for more transparent pricing.
