We recently transitioned from WooCommerce to Shopify and are now working through the challenge of building all kinds of new reports. Our situation is more complicated than most because, during the transition, we consolidated two websites, including an existing Shopify site, and added a third line of business. Accurately sorting revenue and expenses among the different divisions has been a challenge. The Report Pundit team has been outstanding. Every person I've chatted with has been knowledgeable, responsive and incredibly helpful. They've created numerous custom fields and reports to accommodate our specific needs and have been exceptionally cooperative throughout the process. Best of all, despite some pretty unusual requests, I have yet to hear "that can't be done" or simply "no." They consistently look for a way to make it work. Report Pundit is great for anything reporting. Sometimes certain Shopify metrics/dimensions don’t work together depending on the type of report you’re building, so whenever I hit those limitations, I jump into Report Pundit. For example, trying to use product tags within a returns report in Shopify may not work properly or may not be available at all. Report Pundit gives much more flexibility to combine and customize data across different report types. Their customer service team is also incredibly helpful and patient.

This product is astounding in its depth and capability. I originally needed a good way to see how much I am charging customers for shipping in my online store compared to how much I am paying for the shipping. I now have a perfect report for it that emails to me automatically monthly. But there is so much more that it can do. This app is quite frankly the best option for most businesses. The reporting capabilities themselves are not any better than other apps in most cases. What makes this app stand out is the customer service you get for the price. Them being available at any time during a normal work week makes it so much easier to get custom columns added to reports and figure out any issues. We were paying almost $200 a month for Mipler and their customer service hours were during the middle of the night and they were completely unresponsive. We will never look back after switching to Report Pundit.

The app works well overall and can be very powerful once properly set up. The team eventually solved the issue I had and fixed the custom report for my invoicing needs. However, their workflow remains risky. Whenever you ask for a change or adjustment, they often make edits directly on your existing reports without first creating a copy — which has caused several major problems for me over time, even blocking my accounting workflow for days. Email schedules sometimes don’t arrive, and there are occasional synchronization issues with the data. Despite their claims, I honestly believe their servers are sometimes unstable or lower in quality than expected. The support team is responsive, but they seriously need to improve their internal processes and double-check changes before applying them, especially for users who rely on the app for financial and invoicing reports.

This app is a game changer for our business. Before using Report Pundit, we reviewed data from 4 different reports - Report Pundit was able to combine all that data into 1 report. We haven't made many reports yet, but every report we have wanted thus far, was able to be created within minutes. When I couldn't figure out how to include a couple of specific data points into my report, I reached out via their online chat and the agent was able to assist me immediately. The report-making dashboard is very intuitive and easy to use and the customer support is top notch! EDIT 10/31/2025: I unfortunately need to remove a star from my rating. While the customer support is still great, and we have created numerous reports that would be impossible in Shopify, the reports don't consistently generate and send as scheduled. Our team relies on the daily/weekly/monthly reports to make business decisions. There are several times a month where I have had to reach out because the scheduled reports did not work. Their team does retrigger the report and it does eventually generate and send, but it has become a huge inconvenience for our team. They have told me that their system gets overloaded when there are too many reports running. I'm guessing they need to invest in a bigger server to handle their volume.

I’m extremely disappointed with this app. For 16 days I’ve been trying to get my report right. They kept promising they could fix it, but every time one issue was solved, another one appeared. Even during the free trial, they couldn’t get it to work properly. My accountant has been waiting for over two weeks, and still nothing works. It cost me a lot of time, energy, and frustration. After 16 days with no results, I’ve had enough. I’m deleting the app. Maybe this app works for very simple Excel exports, but if you need anything detailed or professional, don’t bother. It’s a waste of time.

When they say customer service, they mean it! If I get stuck on extracting the info I need, I just send over a request, they build out the report for me and send me a link. Meanwhile, I have gotten other work done while I wait, rather than even struggling with it. Spectacular app. I have not found a report that they couldn't create. I've never heard, oh so sorry... and that means a lot to me! I never thought I would pay for top tier, but now I can truly manage my business. Well worth it!
