We started using this app around September 2025, and initially, it worked well for our needs. The setup was smooth, and the core “Request a Quote” functionality is useful, especially for B2B operations. However, over time we noticed a decline in our site performance and conversion rate. After thorough investigation (including multiple tests using Chrome DevTools), we found that the app generates a very high number of repeated GraphQL (API) requests on product and collection pages. In some cases, this resulted in hundreds of requests per page load, which significantly slowed down the site. We worked closely with the support team, and while they were responsive and tried to assist, they ultimately confirmed that this behavior is tied to the app’s current architecture and cannot be further optimized at this time. Because of the impact on performance and conversions, we made the decision to disable the app on our store. To be fair, the app itself is functional and the support team is helpful. But for stores that are sensitive to performance and conversion rates, this is a serious concern. We may consider using the app again in the future if improvements are made. For anyone considering installing this app: please test carefully on your store. If your site speed and conversion rate are critical, use with caution and monitor performance closely.

This app is absolutely terrible and the customer service is unacceptable. The system constantly glitches, and when you uninstall and reinstall it, your paid subscription is suddenly not recognised and you are charged again. I have now been charged twice for the same yearly plan on the same account. Despite repeatedly contacting support, they only make promises to review the issue and issue a refund, yet nothing has happened for months. I am currently stuck with one account running two active subscriptions simply because they are incapable of identifying accounts that are already subscribed. Avoid this app. Save yourself the frustration and choose a better alternative elsewhere.

** Update ** after the excellent response and ownership that I have received from Omega after reporting these problems, I am updating this review from 2* to 4*. We accept that things may occasionally go wrong, but the most important thing is that the App teams take ownership and ensure that the problems are resolved and do not hit other customers. Omega's response to this has been excellent - which gives me confidence in the wider quality of the product - thank you!! Previous review: Lots of great functionality and good support but I felt mis-led by the app description. It does not automatically create draft orders after a quote is accepted - you will need to do this via a manual step. Also **WARNING** - I was testing on a paid plan and hiding the ATC button for just the test product. I switched back to the free plan and it updated the options in the background to hide ATC for ALL products in our store, resulting in lost revenue. I did not expect this to happen and I did not see any warnings. So IMO, a good product let down by misleading marketing and a pricing plan implementation that puts App revenue before the customers business. Not acceptable.

The Request a Quote part of the app works as expected and does exactly what we need it to do but could never get simple SMTP email notifications to work which is a must have feature. As is the customer requests a quote and it generates a draft order but our big ticket sales team doesn't watch or have access to the online store so they never see the orders. We need a way to notify them along with the information in the quote using simple a standard SMTP relay. Contacted support but we're talking to the after hours guy, who relays to someone, who relays to someone, who says they'll pass the information onto the developer. They mostly just request the same information over and over again e.g. screenshots of the error, proof that smtp works outside the app which it all does and we've provided. Wait a day for info to relay back and they ask for the same stuff again.

Not one to leave reviews normally, but the team behind this app have impressed me so many times, I need to share. I paid for some customisation for my use case, and they exceeded on deliverables and timeline. Super responsive to suggestions and questions (even the silly ones) and for more complex stuff they bring in their tech advisors and a client facing team to ensure all people are on the same page. Nothing is a problem, and even after my custom project was signed off as completed, I found something I needed to have adjusted and they happily did this at no charge. Yes, the functionality of the app needs to do what you want, but if you are considering these guys and another, I assure you, the help and support make choosing them well worth it. This developer has a few apps, and I've left a similar review for their sister company. We would avoid this like the plague. Unfortunately we installed Quote Snap and Pareto. The Pareto app had a problem where it wouldn’t honor the rules and allowed checkout anyway. After contacting support we were advised the problem would be looked into, more than 2 weeks passed without a response. Then all of a sudden the checkout couldn’t be used for any order - it was disabled. This happened from the same time Quote Snap was installed, perhaps a coincidence but it was either a problem with one or the other apps created by Omega - either their Pareto app or Quote Snap. It’s already confusing enough using an app like this with a B2B store as there’s nothing consistent between a B2B and DTC sale, and it complicates things when there’s catalogs in one currency and the address being used is in another market. You have to pay $100 a month as a premium for being on Plus, but markets and currencies are still a mess - and then things go wrong and you end up with quotes in the wrong currency. It’s the not straightforward for a customer to know how this differentiates, let alone the store owner. Support advised that server maintenance at Omega could have caused the checkout to be disabled, which is a real problem that the cart relies on their service being fully functional or it could disable the checkout. The actual cause wasn’t found, but removing and disabling the apps brought the checkout back to life. The problem wasn’t evident and it took to removing apps to find the culprit. Even disabling it didn’t initially help. This unfortunately resulted in a loss of revenue and angry customers. These apps should be designed that if there is any type of issue at the apps servers that there is at least an option to allow checkout to proceed, not to simply disable it or make it unusable. This is simply an app I’d avoid, especially not being able to get support when the issue was occurring - Plus stores are looking for reliability and help when needed, that’s why these devs charge more for a Plus store isn’t it?

Within the first week of install, I incurred issues with the app. The most notable and disastrous issue of all was in January 2025. This app has become more of a time-consuming troubleshooting process with each update or change. Integrated it into our website to allow for a more streamlined quoting and booking process for our rental business however each update has made our team have to spend more and more time to troubleshoot the app due to functionality issues of the app. Every update has made a different old setting previously in place inaccessible. The app's team are not in a U.S. time zone so very little can be addressed in real time. Most things are addressed overnight which can cause most things to take multiple days to be resolved. The concept has a good framework, and the developers try to receive feedback but very little is resolved in a timely enough fashion for businesses to be able to rely on this app to be used for a core part of the business model. If they were to have a developer on-call 24 hours, it could be a really good app. But the way they do things now is making us want to cancel the annual subscription and find another quoting feature app or leave Shopify all together. We've had the app for over a year now, may leave shopify once the app renewal comes up again. It continues to present an ongoing need for troubleshooting at the worst times for our industry. It also continues to make up have to renew our email settings every few months to stop lapses in email updates.

Customer service is extremely slow and not based in America. What does mean for you? Great app when it comes to hiding pricing and creating quote requests from customers. There are certain countries I am not able to sell my products to due to conflict of interests with certain distributors. With this app I was easily able to hand select certain countries so that way they were not able to see the price of the items nor check out. The settings make it very easy to do this, and only took a few minutes. I did have some questions so I reached out to customer support chat and Cam from request a quote helped answer some questions I had and even went into the backend of the app to make things easier for me. Highly recommend
