Taking our review down 2 stars. While we love the idea of their Make It Returnable service, the Seel support is severely lacking. We have messaged multiple times following up on an active support ticket and no response in days. Also, customers are reporting glitches in their verification process and that it is extremely laborious submitting for returns to execute the coverage they have paid for. It is reflecting negatively on our business. Not sure how much longer we can use this system if it doesn't improve. We hope that it does!

The absolute WORST app. We have installed the app, Tried to get it connected to our shop - It says the app isn't installed when we log in to Seel. We have opened multiple support tickets over the last month and gotten ZERO replies or any assistance to resolve this. We really thought this would be great to have on our site but after receiving zero replies to support tickets, zero emails back and zero communication no matter how many times we requested support this is not worth it and is bad business. I am sure after this review gets posted we will either receive a reply here finally or a reply to our multiple support tickets which is unfortunate it would have to take a bad review for them to reply.

Seel has been great for my business. I sell products that aren't really appropriate to return once a customer has used them. For example, if they remove decals from the backing and install them before changing their mind and putting them back on the backing.... Previously customers would try to send those back to me for a refund. There's no way I could sell it to another customer so it would be a loss for me every time that happened. Now with Seel, I've been able to update my return policy so that returns are only available if the customer purchases the Seel Return Protection at checkout. AND, if someone does want to initiate a return, that's work I don't have to do anymore since it goes through Seel.

Merchant support is the worst. Over 4 months for a simple request to be completed/updated after repeated promises and in the end, they never did. But somehow they were quick (less than 4 days) to respond to my email for their removal from my store. If merchant support is this way, I can imagine the customer support and didn't want to take the chance.

Update: I have bumped it up to two stars since I was finally able to get access to the app. I filled out the application last night and haven't heard anything yet. I was told a collaboration request was sent, but I do not have one from them. Emails from them only come late at night (maybe they are in a different country?), so getting anything done seems to be a slow process. It is definitely not as quick, easy and seamless as they make it sound. They had a dead email going to the "Get Support" button. Hopefully they have now fixed that. When I tried to add the app to my store I kept getting an error. I tried contacting them through the get support button, but never heard from them. I have now deleted the app and will look into other options.

We use Kover for our formalwear (which is on average $400). Due to the delicate nature of our garments, we haven't traditionally been able to offer returns, but with Kover it's become so easy! A large percentage of our formalwear customers choose to add it on - it gives both parties more peace of mind. Highly recommend trying it out for your store! The Kover team is also very responsive when we have feedback!

Kover is totally kick ass! My sales have seen a definite increase since the Return Assurance was added. I love not having to deal with returns anymore. My customers love the flexibility that comes with opting into the Return Assurance as they don’t feel like they are stuck with purchases that would otherwise be non-returnable. Kover goes into my backend and handles the tech aspect of everything which is something I really need assistance with and that helps tremendously. Plus having this service costs me $0. Increasing online orders also increased number of returns. I have been looking for a solution that could reduce financial impact to from increased number of returns. And Kover's return assurance is the best (and probably the only) solution. Adding the return assurance to our service brought huge additional benefits to our customer service. With this service, it enables customer service team to be much friendlier, since they can happily take the returns. Even if the customer didn't purchase return assurance, customer service team will have friendlier talk point, such as by saying “I will make exception for return this time, but for next time, you should purchase return assurance”. Kover team is extremely responsive, professional, and very pleasant to work with.
